Gar and Rose entered the main room again, seeking to find Grant. Looking around, they found their target sitting at a table with Cass going over another file. Walking over to the two, Gar spoke to get his attention.

"Hey Grant, we got something we need you to do for us."

Turning his head, Grant saw his sister and friend. Giving the two a smile, he addressed Gar.

"Sure man, what's up?"

Giving Rose one last look, Gar relayed the message from Slade to Grant.

"We've been asked to come meet with the President of the UAE. Your dad told us to take you with us."

Nodding his head, he turned towards Cass and spoke to her.

"We'll go over this when I get back. It's obvious that these people are planning something, we just have to figure out what and stop it before it happens."

This caught the two newcomers' attention.

"What are you two looking at?"

Turning the file for them to get a better look at it, Cass informed them of what they found.

"Terrorist group from Syria. They have been making plans to attack here. With the Middle East trying to make peace with Israel, it's bringing a lot of hostility out from extremists."

Looking over the file, Gar noticed she was right. Millions of dollars had been sent from an unknown and private account to Syria. The money had been used to buy weapons and recruit new members. This had all the ingredients to turn ugly.

"Who are these people?"

Pulling out a piece of paper from another file, Grant answered his question.

"Their name translates to Fist of God. Their leader is a man named Mateef El Sharawaay. He was an ex-military leader and jihadist."

While Gar read the information on the piece of paper, Rose was looking over the file still. Noticing something, she spoke up.

"It says that it's believed they've sent "soldiers" to Saudi Arabia. Is it possible for them to have made their way here?"

Shaking his head, Grant spoke to his sister.

"Don't know. This information was given to us three days ago. If they have the transportation, they might have."

Gar raised an eyebrow and turned to the two.

"Why would they come here? Are their meeting about the plans for peace over here?"

This time it was Cass who spoke up.

"Yes. Most of countries in area are poor and do not have the ability to get leaders in safely. Military over here is stronger than those in countries like Afghanistan and Iran."

Taking one last look over the information laid out, Gar took a breath and spoke.

"Alright then. We'll have to keep our heads up and on a swivel. When we're leaving, we'll need to grab some weapons and ammo in case they are here and try to make contact. I don't want us being unprepared if things go south."

Receiving nods from the group, he then addressed the meeting again.

"Since we're going to meet with the President, I'm guessing we'll have to dress formally. Let's get changed so we can grabbed our stuff and head out."

With that the three being sent to go to the meeting went to their rooms to get changed. In his room, Gar went to his closet and pulled out a dark blue dress shirt and some grey pants. Putting them on, he rolled up his sleeves and kept the top two buttons undone to get more comfortable. He slid on a pair of brown flats, put in his two diamond earrings, and went back out to meet up with Rose and Grant.

When he returned to the main room, he saw the two with Jaime and made his way over. Rose immediately caught his eye in her black dress, showing off her curves and smooth legs. Turning to see him, her eyes darkened with hunger and gave him a lustful smile. He gave her a wink, before Jaime spoke up to talk to him.

"I got something for you Gar. Slade had me make this so we could keep your whereabouts quiet for now."

Holding his hand out, he gave him a ring made of silver, with glowing blue bands engraved in it. Taking a look at it, Gar turned back to Jaime.

"What is this?"

Giving him a proud smile, Jaime gave him his answer.

"A holo-ring. It'll change your appearance to what you'd look like without your powers. That way, you'd fit in to the crowd a little better, since being green would make you stick out like a sore thumb."

Giving it one last look, he slipped it on his finger. Immediately, his skin changed to a sun-kissed tan, making his tattoos more visible. His hair went from being green into a bleach blonde. His eyes were no longer green, but a bright blue like the ocean. The three in front of him we stunned, having never seen him without his green pigmentation.

"Damn man, if you weren't a hero you could've been a model."

He laughed at Grant's joke before turning to his girlfriend to see her reaction. Her face was scrunched up a little, as if seeing how she was feeling about the change. The other two turned to her as well, waiting for her response. After a few more moments, she gave her verdict.

"I prefer the green."

The other boys chuckled while Gar gave her a mock look of hurt.

"Awe, you wouldn't date me if I was like this?"

Smirking, she walked closer and placed a hand on his cheek.

"Oh no, I definitely would. The green just makes you look more exotic."

Seeing that the couple were practically undressing each other, Jaime cleared his throat to get their attention again.

"I also have this for you. It's your wrist communicator, just like the rest of us have."

Gar took it from him and strapped it onto his wrist. The buttons briefly glowed, before dimming back to normal. He gave his wrist a quick shake and turned back to Jaime.

"Thanks man. Anything else I need to have?"

With a quick nod, Jaime pulled the group over to the center table. On it were three pistols with four loaded clips each. Turning to the group, Jaime spoke.

"You'll need this. Slade doesn't want anyone out of the tower without being armed. Cass told me that you two were informed about what's going on while Grant and her were looking over the files we had sent to us."

The two nodded and they, along with Grant, picked up the guns and ammo clips. Grabbing a holster from the table as well, they slid the guns into them and clipped them on their waist. They stuck the clips in their pockets, and Grant made his way over to the computer.

"Since your driving Gar, I'll let you pick what you want to drive."

Pulling out four sets of keys, he turned back to his friend.

"You can pick the Audi, Benz, Jeep, or my personal favorite, the Lamborghini."

Gar walked over and took a look over his options. Reaching out, he grabbed the keys for the Lamborghini. Grant smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

"Ahhh, good choice my man. I'm getting to like you more and more."

Gar chuckled while Grant put up the keys to the rest of the vehicles. The three turned to make their leave as the rest of the team entered the room. They smiled and nodded to everyone until they turned to Gar. Since they didn't know about the holo-ring he was wearing, he got stunned looks and questioning gazes. After a moment of brief silence, Rachel turned to the rest and asked the question that the girls, and not quite as accurately for Muhammad, were thinking.

"Who's the hottie?"

After a good laugh from the boys and a smirk from Rose, Gar took his ring off. His skin, eyes, and hair went back to green before he spoke to her.

"It's just me. Jaime made this ring so we could keep my cover from being blown."

Shae blew out a breath and turned to Rose.

"Geez, you sure are lucky girl."

Rose chuckled and Gar slipped his ring back on. After a quick few words of departure, the three left the team and made their way down to the garage. Gar and Rose held each other's hand, while Grant and Gar made conversation and joked around. Once they reached the garage, Gar pressed the button to unlock the doors to his vehicle of choice and his eyes turned to the sound of one of the many cars and SUVs that were in there. Immediately, he located a blacked out Urus and his mouth began to water.

"Ahh man. Grant you got good taste."

Grant shrugged his shoulders and gave him a playful smirk.

"According to Rachel, it runs in the family."

With a chuckle, they got in the SUV and Gar started it up. Immediately, it roared to life in the enclosed area. Pressing a button, Grant opened the garage for Gar, and they were on their way to meet with the President.

After about an hour or so of driving, and much laughter in the front seat from Gar and Grant, the three finally had arrived at the Presidential Palace. Gar pulled up to the gate and a group of security guards were waiting for him. He rolled down the window to speak as one of them walked up to the SUV.

"What is the reason for your visit?"

Gar waved his hand towards himself and the two accompanying him and spoke.

"We're here to meet with the President. We were asked to come here by him actually."

The guard gave him a skeptical look. Glancing back to his fellow guards, he addressed the blonde haired disguised hero.

"There was only one person he was supposed to meet with today, and you certainly don't look like him."

Chuckling, Gar removed the ring from his finger. Just like at the tower, his disguise disappeared and his features changed into that of his actual self. Looking back to the guard, he raised his eyebrows in amusement before addressing him.

"Do I look like him now?"

The guard held his hand up in defense and began to apologize.

"Yes, forgive me please. I was not aware that you'd be arriving here undercover. We were expecting you to come as Beast Boy."

Gar gave a nonchalant wave before smiling to the man.

"It's alright. Just trying to stay hidden for now. It's supposed to be a secret that I'm here and we're trying to keep the media from letting it get out."

The guard nodded his head and his appearance began to relax.

"Yes, of course. I'll let you in and notify the President of your visit. Once again, I apologize for the misunderstanding."

With a nod and a thank you, Gar slipped his ring back on and entered the Palace gates, driving down the long driveway. As he got closer to the building, he could see a man in a white robe and keffiyeh. Flanking him on both sides were two more guards with guns in military uniforms. Pulling up to them, Gar parked the vehicle and all three exited. Walking up the stairs, Gar looked up to see the man giving him a welcoming smile.

"Good morning my friends, welcome to the Emirates."

As the group reached the man, they gave a quick bow to acknowledge him. The President stuck out his hand to shake Gar's as Gar returned the welcome.

"Assalaam Alaikum"

The President looked surprised for a second before smiling towards Gar, seeming pleased at his response.

"Ahh, you know Arabic?"

With a polite smile, Gar nodded his head and responded.

"Yes Mr. President, I've been to this side of the world a time or two when I was younger."

The President nodded his head and addressed the group as a whole.

"I thank you all for coming. I was told you'd be arriving soon, but was not expecting it to be this soon. I am pleased to have you here though. Let's go to my office so we may talk."

The man waved his hand for the group to follow and walked forward to lead the way. The guards walked behind the three visitors and kept their gaze ahead, keeping a sharp eye out for any potential danger. Gar walked next to the President while Grant and Rose followed behind them. As they made their way to the office, the President began a conversation with Gar.

"I heard there was a little incident at the security gate?"

With a nod and a chuckle, Gar informed the President of what transpired.

"Yes Mr. President, but it was nothing. Just a small miscommunication that we resolved. No harm no foul."

The man nodded his head and placed a hand on Gar's shoulder.

"I apologize for the inconvenience. With our plans to try to make an alliance with Israel, there have been many terrorist groups speaking out against it. We have had to heighten security around here to make sure we keep everyone safe."

The small talk continued on as they walked down the luxurious halls to the office. Even Grant and Rose were included in some of it, with the President trying to show his guests he was happy they were there. Once they reached the office, the two guards stopped outside the door and the President along with his visitors entered. They took a seat in front of his desk and the man went to sit in his chair. Once seated, they began their meeting.

"Since we are behind closed doors, I can now tell you what you need to know."

He took a seat behind his desk and took a deep breath. Gar, Grant, and Rose briefly shared a look with each other before returning their gaze back towards the man. Something about this didn't sit right with them and their gut was telling them that trouble was on the horizon.

"The Fist of God has sent soldiers to Saudi Arabia, as I'm sure you know by now with the information we've sent over to you."

The three gave a nod of their head and waited for him to go on. Shaking his head, the President glanced down and ran a finger across a picture frame on his desk.

"I was informed by one of my military advisors that they have made their way into our country."

The three sat there for a brief second as thoughts raced in their heads. This could be bad. One man with a big enough bomb can take out dozens of people, maybe even hundreds. A group of radicalized terrorists could be threatening to the country.

"When were you informed of this?"

Sighing, the President turned to Gar to answer his question.

"Earlier this morning. They crossed the border late last evening. We believe that their agenda is to stop the peace meetings from happening."

Grant blew out a humorless laugh.

"That would seem like the obvious reason."

Turning to the dark haired man, the President offered him a smirk before addressing the group once again.

"I will need your team to keep eyes out for these men. They are dangerous and I'm sure you know, terrorists will not stop until their mission is done or they are dead."

The group gave a nod, as if to let him know they understood. They continued on over some minor things and were given more information about anymore potential threats. After an hour or so, they had finished up the meeting and were finally dismissed. The President stood up and the team followed suit.

"Thank you once again for coming my friends. I trust that you will be able to keep our great country and the surrounding nations safe from any of these evil men."

Sticking out his hand to shake, the President walked up to Gar.

"I wish to continue our friendship, as I am very pleased to have a group of people like you watching over us."

Smiling, Gar shook his hand and spoke politely to the man.

"We will do our best, Mr. President. Thank you for having confidence in us."

The President smiled at him and nodded. He shook Grant's hand and bowed to Rose, who returned it. They exited the office and walked back towards the doors to the entrance. As they were walking and the guards were following them, Gar slowed his pace a little to speak quietly to Grant.

"We need to inform Slade and the team of this. If they're here, they can strike at any moment."

Grant gave him a nod in agreement and the two returned to their normal pace. Rose turned her head to catch Gar's eyes and succeeded. He turned to her and gave her a loving smile, which she reciprocated. He discreetly stuck out his hand to catch hers and caressed it gently. She squeezed his hand before letting go as the President turned to them at the doors.

"I wish you safe travels my friends. I hope to see you again. When the meetings are finished and we have reached an agreement, I would like for you and the rest of your team to come to my Palace and have dinner with me and my family."

Gar gave the man a polite smile and nodded his head.

"Thank you, Mr. President. We will inform you if we have anymore information and will keep you updated. And we would be honored to share dinner with you."

As they we finishing their goodbyes, Gar began to get a eerie feeling. The hair on the back of his neck stood up and his skin got goosebumps.

"ALLAHU AKBAR!"

Turning, he saw a group of men at the front gate where the guards were. He saw one of them throw something towards the guards before a loud bang and fire erupted. It quickly turned into gunfire and the guards taking cover and drawing their weapons to return fire. Gar turned towards the President, ushering him to get inside.

"Mr. President, get inside. Lock the doors and take your family and go to your office for shelter."

The man nodded his head and turned to flee with the guards right behind him. Making sure he got inside safely, Gar watched then turned towards Grant and Rose.

"Let's go help them out. It looks like they're being overpowered."

With a nod, they drew their pistols and hurried to go help the guards being pinned down. Once they reached them, they took cover and Gar turned to the guard who he had dealt with earlier.

"What happened?"

The man flinched as a bullet whizzed by them. Turning to the blonde hero, he spoke.

"Two vans pulled up to the gate. Before we could even go over to speak to them, they began their attack."

Gar nodded his head then turned to talk to his two team members.

"Looks like they're here."

Grant nodded his head and raised his voice so he could be heard over the gunfire.

"I guess they wanted to make sure they would be able to stop the peace meeting from taking place."

Bullets continued to fly by them as they began returning fire. Gar took three shots, putting them in one of the assailants chest. Grant and Rose each took down one, leaving them with 7 men left. There were a couple of loud grunts and they turned to see two guards had been taken down. That left the three of them and two guards left.

Seeing that their chances were getting worse and that the terrorists had another van pulling up, Gar reached down and pressed a button. He waited a brief second before he heard Muhammad's voice.

"What's up Gar?"

Ducking to avoid shrapnel from a stray bullet, Gar leaned down to talk into the communicator.

"We've got a situation at the Palace."

Gar popped his head up quickly to fire 3 more shots, with one hitting one terrorist in the head and the other two hitting another in the chest.

"What's going on?"

Muhammad could hear the gunfire and knew that it was serious. Ducking back down, Gar informed him of the situation.

"The Fist of God found their way here. We need you guys to make your way here and bring some weapons with you."

Gar turned to see Grant and Rose taking cover as they could hear a couple of automatic weapons being fired off. It took one second before Gar got a response from Muhammad.

"We'll be right there. Rachel and Cass are at the armory grabbing some rifles. Hang tight and I'll open a portal for us when they come back."

Dodging bullets, Gar made his way over to Grant and Rose. Leaning in close so they could hear him, he leaned against a barrier for safety and informed them of the situation.

"Cass and Rachel are getting some weapons and loading up. They'll be here in a second."

Reloading his gun, Grant turned to Gar.

"Well let's hope they get here before these assclowns try to set off some fireworks."

Chuckling, even in the situation he was in, Gar turned to Rose to make sure she was alright. He met her gaze and she smirked at him.

"You know, you look pretty hot when you're shooting a gun."

Smiling at her joke, he gave her a quick peck before he popped up to open fire. The gunfire exchanged for a couple more seconds before Gar heard a swirling sound. He smiled to himself as he knew that the tables had now started to turn.
