It was time for the second period and everyone headed to class, Mei had math class with Tyler and the girls had English with Brendan. They all entered their respective classrooms with the girls making doubly sure they sat next to Brendan to get more of an insider scoop on him. Meanwhile, in math class, Mei sat across from Tyler and she was doing her best to keep herself calm.

"So, Tyler...um...how are ya?" asked Mei trying to strike up idle chit chat.

"Um...pretty good" he nervously chuckled.

"So... where did you um...have any trouble with the homework last night?" asked Mei nervously.

"Uhmmm...I kinda didn't get number 27" replied Tyler.

Now Tyler wasn't a straight-A student like Mei but he was doing his best to improve his grades and everything, especially for Mei.

"Well, I can help you with that one" smiled Mei.

Tyler smiled as she walked him through the problem, it was kind of a breath of fresh air for Tyler to have someone help him with his homework, but he couldn't focus. He kept staring over at Mei as she tried to walk him through the problem.

"Uhm...Tyler, you alright?" asked Mei.

"Oh...huh? Uhm...yeah, it's just..." stammered Tyler.

"Just what?" asked Mei.

"Nothing, could you just run the solution by me again?" replied Tyler.

Meanwhile, in English class, Abby sat to the left Brendan and Miriam sat on his right and Priya sat next to Abby.

"So Brendan, tell us about yourself," said Miriam.

"Yeah, are you a 4*Townie?! PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE!" shrieked Abby.

Brendan was a little nervous and hesitant to talk especially with how energetic Abby was towards him.

"Uhhh...I can't say that I am" Brendan replied nervously.

"OH COME ON! How can you not be?! Geudeul-eun mal geudaelo gajang widaehabnida! museun il-iya?!" exclaimed a frustrated Abby in both English and Korean.

Brendan looked confused at why Abby was so upset.

"I guess I just never liked boy bands, I'm more Nickleback or Metallica or Saliva you know that kinda thing" chuckled Brendan.

"No worries, forgive Abby she's just energetic" chuckled Miriam.

Meanwhile back in Math class, Tyler looked like he was struggling with a problem, Mei looked over at him.

"You sure you understand it?" asked Mei concerned.

"Yeah...I think" replied Tyler a bit unsure of himself.

"Alright students, please don't forget problems will 1-25 will be on next week's pop quiz," said their teacher.

"Aughhhhhhhhh" groaned the class.

"Oh great...a pop quiz" groaned Tyler.

"Well...I mean, if you want I can help you study for it, does Saturday sound good?" smiled Mei.

When Tyler heard her offer, his heart practically skipped a beat. Mei was offering to help him study even though he treated her poorly before this. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to hang out with her.

"Sure, but...my parents still haven't forgiven you for well...the incident," said Tyler a little unsure.

"We can go to the library, they won't know" smiled Mei.

"Isn't that only where dorks hang out?" asked Tyler.

Mei shot him a dirty look.

"I'm only kidding" chuckled Tyler.

Mei rolled her eyes and giggled.

Back in English class, the teacher was handing out their homework assignment, it was a fairly simple essay that they had to write.

"Alright and don't forget this is due on Monday, class dismissed," said the teacher as the bell rang.

The kids left their classes to meet up in the hallway and the girls were talking with Brendan and Mei was walking next to Tyler.

"That's cool you're a wrestling fan, never dug the stuff myself," said Miriam.

"Well, my dad wanted to move to Toronto anyways after we went to Wrestlemania at the SkyDome in March and well he'd be closer to his brother as well" replied Brendan.

They all met up with each other in the hallway, the girls giving Mei kind of a look when they saw her with Tyler.

"Hey, guys" smiled Mei.

"Hey Mei," said the girls in unison.

"You oughta get to know Brendan, he's super cool! Not a Townie though...bukkeuleoun il" said Abby in both English and Korean.

"Nice to meet you," said Brendan extending his hand to Mei for a handshake.

Mei had some sparkle in her eye as she grabbed his hand and shook it...she felt a little fluttering in her heart.

"His hand is so soft and gentle," she thought to herself.

She felt a flutter but this time managed to keep it in, she didn't wanna hear her friends teasing her again.

"So, Mei you gonna come to karaoke with us on Saturday?" asked Abby.

"Oh...hmmm...Saturday is uh...cleaning day!" said Mei nervously.

Miriam rolled her eyes.

"Come on Mei, that excuse is getting tired and besides we're gonna show Brendan around since he's new around here," said Miriam.

"Well...maybe another time I swear, we just got this new vacuum and my goodness it picks up everything!" nervously chuckled Mei.

Mei couldn't let them know about her's and Tyler's little study date even though she heard them mention the karaoke thing in homeroom.

"Alright fine Mei, another time then," said Miriam kind of ticked off.

RRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG! went the bell.

The third-period class was in session, the kids headed to class and Mei was as nervous as a turkey in November. The fact that she was gonna have both Brendan and Tyler in the same class as she was going. She was panting inside but trying to keep it together.

"Come on Mei, you can do this it's just one class together...but what if it's more? What if I have a class with just Brendan? Oh man," she thought to herself as she felt ears popping up.

She quickly shut her eyes and took a deep breath and they went away, luckily for her nobody took notice.

She, Tyler, and Brendan entered their third-period history class and Mei sat down...and sitting to her left was Tyler and to her right was Brendan, the last thing she wanted to happen today.

"Oh man," she thought to herself slamming her head into her desk.
