Mei took a deep breath, she knew this was going to be a test of will, having the two boys she liked sitting to her left and right. The boys sat in their seats and instead of saying anything to Mei, they struck up a conversation themselves.

"Sup man, I'm Tyler," said Tyler.

"Brendan, nice to meet you...15 on your jersey...Vince Carter?" asked Brendan.

"Yup, diehard Raptors fan" smiled Tyler.

"He was epic in the dunk contest two years ago" replied Brendan.

"Oh yeah, I was on the edge of my seat" chuckled Tyler.

Mei let off a huge sigh of relief.

"Good, let them talk about whatever is boys talk about," she thought to herself.

"Basketball the only sport you're into?" asked Brendan.

"Nah, I also like baseball...Jays all day" chuckled Tyler.

"You mean Expos all day?" retorted Brendan.

"Win a World Series then we can talk" laughed Tyler.

Brendan wasn't too much of a fan of that comment but he rolled his eyes and chuckled it off, their teacher walked in and started to write the lesson plan on the board.

"So why'd you move here?" asked Tyler.

"Well my dad got a new job at my uncle's construction company, my dad pretty much works the books and now we're closer to most of my family, my mom wasn't too much of a fan moving here though" replied Brendan.

"That's pretty cool, I've got some family in Vancouver" replied Tyler.

Brendan then looked towards Mei who was writing the lessons from the board into her notebook.

"So, Mei right? Why won't you come to karaoke with me and your friends? They all seem cool and I wanna hang with all of you" he smiled.

Mei took a deep breath not even wanting to look at him because she knew she'd go ga ga, but at the same time, she couldn't even look at Tyler for the same reason.

"Oh...umm...I've got a prior engagement," said Mei sheepishly.

"Oh, alright then I was just curious" replied Brendan writing in his notebook.

The day dragged on as it normally would've and soon the day ended and all the kids left school. As the girls were walking out with Mei, Brendan was walking by himself until Tyler approached him.

"Hey man, you wanna hang out if you're not doing anything?" asked Tyler.

"Oh, well yeah...I guess" smiled Brendan.

"Well you said you wanted to make new friends and all, plus there's this awesome arcade I like to go to after school on the occasions" replied Tyler.

"Yeah sure, let's go man" replied Brendan.

The pair headed down to the arcade to play video games and Abby turned around and saw them walking together.

"Ooooh Mei one of your future husbands is hanging out together!" exclaimed Abby.

"Knock it off" grumbled Mei.

Abby gave her a playful shot to the arm, Mei waited for the tram to go home. It soon arrived and Mei got on and said bye to the girls who all headed home themselves. It wasn't too long of a trip home for her especially since she had her 4*Town CD to listen to. At the arcade, Tyler and Brendan were playing Time Crisis 3.

"Shoot him! To your left!" exclaimed Tyler.

Brendan took the shot and took out the enemy on screen.

"Good shot man!" exclaimed Tyler.

"Thanks, dude, BRO TWO ON YOUR RIGHT!" exclaimed Brendan.

"Got 'em!" exclaimed Tyler.

"I have to say, man, I'm having a lot of fun...I figured I'd be like the lonely new kid or something" laughed Brendan.

"No doubt man, I always like making new friends" replied Tyler.

"Yeah and I saw you surrounded by those girls when I like first walked into the school, like when I was heading to the main office...they're pretty cool, especially Mei," said Brendan shooting an enemy.

Immediately Tyler's heart jumped.

"M-M-M-Mei?" he stammered.

"Yeah, I mean yeah I don't know her like I guess you do but I'm hoping I can get to know her and I'm sure there's nobody who knows her as you do" smiled Brendan.

"Uhmmm...well...yeah she's...cool" Tyler stammered.

"You alright there?" asked Brendan confused at Tyler's stammering.

"Oh, yeah...I'm good, just the game" he chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, this part of the game is nerve-wracking, but I hope you don't think I'm using you to get to her," said Brendan.

"Oh..no I wouldn't think that," said Tyler in a low voice.

"Amigos?" asked Brendan extending his fist for a fist bump.

"Amigos," said Tyler bumping a fist with Brendan.

The two continued with the game.

Meanwhile back at Mei's, she was in her room doing her homework and listening to her walkman. She saw her phone ding, she got a text from Abby.

Wonder how your future husbands are getting along? :P

Mei was annoyed by that text.

They're NOT my future husbands!

Mei texted back angrily gritting the words through her teeth as she typed.

Mei then got a text from Miriam.

So which one are you picking? Can I be a maid of honor?

Mei slapped her forehead.

Tryn 2 focus on HW!

"Future husbands..." said Mei to herself rolling her eyes as she did her homework.

As she was writing, something happened...much like with Devon, her mind started to wander and she began to lose focus and draw.

"Besides...I barely know Brendan and maybe I hope to get to know him and yeah sure he's good looking...and has nice hair...not as nice as Tyler's, and Tyler has a nice smile and he smells nice and Brendan has those cute blue eyes...and he plays hockey so obviously he's masculine but Tyler's sensitive and sweet and athletic, Brendan likes math and music and would make a good study partner, but Tyler is Townie and Brendan isn't..." Mei muttered to herself.

When she came back to focus she realized what she did, she drew fairly hot but not naughty drawings of the two boys.

"Oh man," she said to herself feeling her emotions run high.

*POOF*

She panda'd.

Ming sitting on the couch with Jin saw the smoke come from her room and she quickly rose to her feet and began rapidly knocking on Mei's door.

"Mei-Mei! You' panda'd! What's the matter?! Anything you wanna talk about?! Is it school?! Your body changing?! A boy?! Oh so help me if it's a boy!" exclaimed Ming talking rapidly.

"It's nothing mother! Just...uh...an upcoming quiz" said Mei lying and trying to calm herself.

"You normally never get nervous at quizzes, I'm coming in, mommy's here to talk," said Ming turning the knob.

Mei saw the knob slowly turn and with a mighty smack of her paw she knocked her notebook to the side of her bed in a panic, she didn't want history to repeat itself.

"It's nothing mother!" exclaimed Mei trying to calm still.

Ming opened the door and saw Mei nervously smiling in her panda form.

"What's wrong sweetie, what's on your mind?" asked Ming.

"I told you...nothing" stammered Mei.

"Mei...please, I'm your mother you can tell me anything," said Ming putting her hand on Mei's paw.

Mei's eyes darted around as she tried to think of a lie.

"It's umm...just...school! Yeah! I just sometimes feel so burned out and then there are all these quizzes and I'm up to my eyes in homework!" exclaimed Mei feigning like she was sad.

"I get it, I was your age once and felt that immense pressure of school, sweetie if you ever need to take a break or anything I would want you to because I don't want you to burn yourself out" smiled Ming.

Mei sighed.

"Thanks, mom" she smiled closing her eyes as Ming hugged her arm.

*POOF*

Mei was back to normal.

"Glad I could be of help, if you want to take a break from your homework and come for a snack or something you're more than welcome to" smiled Ming.

"Will do" smiled Mei.

Ming got up to walk to the door and she opened it to the living room.

"I love you Mei" smiled Ming standing in the doorway.

"Love you too mom" smiled Mei.

Ming left the room and Mei quickly grabbed her notebook with all the drawings and put it on her bed and looked at the drawings.

"Why are they both so hot?!" she cried to herself.

*POOF*

That rush of emotions caused her to panda again.

"Not again" she grumbled to herself.
