Chapter 1

The night was still over the Leaf Village as a scream rang out. "Save him!"

I was sitting up in my bed, shaking, as the tears started to run down my face. I brought my knees up to my chest and hugged my legs, "Kura."

I lay back down on my bed, still hugging my legs and began to cry into my pillow.

I have nightmares of the day of that my brother died once a week for the past 10 years. I haven't told anyone about it because I feel like that makes me weak.

"Meow!?" My little black cat named Yuki cuffed at my knees. I look at her, and smile. She was given to me by the 6th Hokage on my birthday, 4 months ago.

"Oh, Yuki." I let go of my legs, sit up and Yuki climbs into my lap. I chuckle, "You know just when I need some cheering up." I start to pat her head when I remembered what the 6th Hokage said when he gave Yuki to me.

""If you ever need me, give her a note and Yuki will know what to do." That's what he said, maybe..." I go up off of my bed, Yuki meowing in protest. Walked over to my desk, grabbing a piece of paper and brush. "Now, where's my ink?" I start to look for my ink jar when Yuki meows rubbing on the bottom drawer.

"Is it in there Yu?" I asked as I open the drawer, seeing the ink right on top. I grab it and setting it on the desktop, I start to write a note to Lord Sixth himself.

Lord 6th,I know that you maybe busy and/or tired but, you told me when you gave me Yuki, if I ever need you, write a note. So, I am and I need you! It's not an emergency.Your Friend,Sora Ashii

I sealed my note on a scroll and tied it to Yuki. "Now Yuki, you know Lord 6th. Can you please bring this scroll to him please?"

"Meow!" Yuki rubbed against my leg, jumped on the windowsill and jumped out the window.

I stood at the window for 5 minutes when I sat down on my bed, "I hope Yuki gets to him ok."

Knock, knock!

"Oh!" I get up and walk over to my window. "Lord Sixth, you came." He smiled at me through his mask. "Oh, come onto the balcony. I'll let you in." I unlock my balcony doors and the Hokage walks in.

"Sora, I got your scroll. What's wrong?" He places a hand on my shoulder. I look up at him, with a few tears falling from eyes, "Let me close the doors, I tell you." He moves out my way, by sitting at my desk as I close my balcony doors.

"Now Sora-" I turn with tears streaming down my face. "Whats wrong?" He gets up and wraps me in his arms. He sits on my bed as I sit next to him.

"Lord-" He puts a hand under my chin, so I can look at him in his onix eyes. "Kakashi." He smiles as he runs his hand through my blue hair.

"Kakashi!" I hug him. He's shocked as I start crying into in chest but he starts to rub my back. "You can tell me Sora."

I look up at him, "How can you stop having them?" He looks at me with a smile. "I understand." He brings me into his arms. "I still have nightmares of people who I lost too."

"Really?" I hug him again. I feel really safe in Kakashi's arms. He runs his hand through my hair, "How can you live with them?" Kakashi lets out a sigh, "Well, you get used to them. Yes, I may sound rude but," He looks me in my eyes. "You just grow from losing the ones you love because you live for them."

I look at the silver haired man, who's holding me in his arms, I placed my hand on his cheek. As I bought my other hand on his other cheek, he put his hands on mine, "Why?"

Kakashi looks at me confused, "What do you mean?" I look at him with my hands now in his. I look down, "Why did you save me?"

He chuckles. "I saved you because," Kakashi gently tilts my head. "When I saw you on the battle field," Kakashi brings me to be sitting his lap. "I felt like I had to protect you because," Kakashi wraps one arm around me and brings my hand back to his cheek.

He helps me pull his mask down. Kakashi puts his hand under my chin and without any warning, The Sixth Hokage was kissing me.

I was shocked, I thought of pulling away but the feeling of Kakashi kissing me, I gave in and kissed him back. Here we were, sitting on my bed, kissing each other.

We pulled apart, "When I first saw you I felt something pulling me to you. Telling me to keep you safe." I smile up at Kakashi's chiseled face, "It's called true love."
