Summary:

Even Chisao has noticed.

"Niichan, are you and Dingo gonna go out, chu?" Chisao casually put his brother in the hot seat.

Dekao and Dingo stopped what they were doing to give Chisao traumatized stares and hanging jaws. In Dekao's case, he was checking the stove, and in Dingo's, he was cleaning the counter.

The one time they were relieved having no customers in the restaurant!

"Chisao! What are you talking about? We're not!"

"But Niichan liked it when Dingo said he likes to watch him make curry! And Dingo is working here even when he isn't paid a lot, chu!"

"I do it for the free curry!" Dingo asserted.

"Niichan's curry, chu!" Chisao wasn't asking anymore.

Dingo dragged the not even partway full garbage bag to the door. "You know what, I'm taking out the trash!"

"I'll help you!" Dekao followed, not apprehending soon enough it merely bolstered Chisao's argument due to them going out of Maha Ichiban together.

Hiding from Chisao was more the goal than refuting the child genius' outrageous opinion.

Once they got out, Dingo made a big show out of placing the bag in the can. "He has a wild and active imagination!"

"No kidding, he's a kid! What can you do?"

"Y-yeah, haha. I bet he believes Netto and Enzan are going out because they work together too!"

"Haha, yeah."

Neither seemed salved by it. Chisao's observation had been planted.

"I like Meiru-chan!" Dekao blurted suddenly.

"So do I!" Dingo reactivated Dekao's stare and hanging jaw.

Shit.

"Oops! Sorry! Girls! I like girls!" he apologized for misreading what he thought Dekao was going to say.

A cold wind blowing past amplified the stretch of time. They were each waiting for the other to close the book on this.

"Back to work?" Dekao took the initiative.

"Yeah!" Dingo mm-hmm'd.

Together, they went inside.

Going in was the opposite of going out. Chisao couldn't get them there!
