Hello! Welcome to what I think is the first fic of its kind!
So, time jumper ocs. There's plenty of those with this fandom. But I have never seen one that followed the Master'stimeline.
This will feature all incarnations of the Master, including the ones that have only appeared in extended canon.
There will be some original adventures that feature just the Master and OC, but it will mostly follow events in canon.
Also, I would love to chat with my readers! There's a link in my profile for a discord server that my friends and I use.
One last thing, if you want to see a certain extended canon adventure (or have ideas for original adventures), please leave a review and tell me! I would love to incorporate your ideas.
Enjoy!
They were working on his TARDIS. They were probably the only one on the TARDIS farms insane enough to even dare touch his TARDIS.
Everyone knew how ruthless he could be- Especially with those who messed up while working on his TARDIS.
The last Time Lord who messed up while working on his TARDIS still hadn't been found.
So yeah- maybe they were a little insane.
But then again, the best people were at least a little insane, at least that's what they heard.
They weren't sure if they believed it themselves.
He was just a man, there wasn't much he could do to them if they messed up something while working on his TARDIS.
After all, they were like him. Like him, they also went mad at the Untempered Schism.
Their madness was more subtle than others, but only if they found something to keep them occupied.
If they didn't have something to keep them occupied, things could become⦠disastrous.
The Tinkerer did one last finishing touch to the TARDIS console, a smile on their face as the TARDIS gave a low hum.
"Well there you go, little one. Good as new!" they exclaimed, packing up their tools as the did so. The tools were scattered all over the console room, due to multiple things needing to be repaired.
Honestly, the Master could at least try to take better care of his TARDIS! Most of the stuff they fixed was due it being left unused for so long.
The TARDIS hummed again, only this time it seemed to be in apology.
"What are you sorry for, little one?" they asked, brushing a strand of ginger hair off their face, before frowning and taking their hair tie out of their hair. They put it in their teeth, redoing their messy bun as the TARDIS gave another hum, but this time it sounded sad.
They tied their hair back up. "Okay, now you're giving me mixed signals. I don't like mixed signals- it's an awful lot like crossing wires, which is a stupid thing to do."
The TARDIS hummed, opening the case that held the heart of the TARDIS.
"Oh no! No! No! No!" They ran towards the console, being careful to avert their gaze from the golden heart.
Bad things happened when you messed with the heart of a TARDIS!
They fumbled around for the lid, closing their eyes as they did so.
They felt something hit their chest, just as they placed their hand on the lid.
And within a blink of an eye, the Tinkerer was gone.
