Here is my second story... my first one 'Something Different' Is still in progress so in between those chapters I want to make this. But since it is a secondary story, it will be more time between each chapter than my first story. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy.

There are vast amounts of Pokemon in the sea- some of which differ depending on where in the sea they live. One such species is Gastrodon; who differ depending on if they live in the East or West Sea. Our story takes place in the East Sea in a settlement of Blue Gastrodon.

"Is there more to life than just sitting here not fitting in and just going to shore everyday?" A Blue Gastrodon sighed.

He looked over a cliff that had coral surrounding him, watching his fellow Gastrodon and Shellos doing their thing. Something swam right in front of him, startling him.

"Heyo! Blu! Why the long face!"

"Skip, can you not today?" Blue sighed.

Skip then sat on his head. "Well I would... buuuut I need to at least try and cheer you up!"

Blu just tilted his head down with a gloomy look.

Skip then decided to reveal that he brought him some seaweed, waving it teasingly in front of his face. "C'mon, I even got this for you bro!"

Blu perked up a bit and accepted the seaweed and ate it. "Thanks, Skip."

Skip then raised an inquisitive brow and chewed on some of the seaweed and gagged. "Ugh, this is nasty! I don't know how you Gastrodon eat this." He coughed a bit then changed the subject "Blu, please tell me what's wrong. It will help for you to tell me, we are best friends after all. I have known you ever since we were little and hell even newly hatched!"

Blu decided to concede and began speaking. "Well Skip, I'm tired of feeling out of place here. None of the other Gastrodon really treat me as their own. I often find myself having a hard time making friends. Females don't even give me the time of day even though I try. I also hate being stuck here when there's a world out there away from here."

Skip crossed his arms and nodded his head as he listened.

"I want to travel and see the rest of the sea! Ever since my dad died I don't really have any reason to stay here. I literally have nothing left here... well, except you, but my point still stands."

Skip swam off of Blu's head and then sat beside him. "Well then go for it! I'll be behind you the whole step of the way."

He tilted his head towards him. "Wait, don't you have family here?"

"Nope! I don't know my family so I'm all good!" He huffed in a proud manner.

Blu didn't say anything.

"Trust me, If you want to do something that makes you happy and you want more out of life and have the opportunity. Go for it my guy!"

Blu just nodded.

"Let me know when you wanna do this 'Adventure"'! He started to swim away and waved "Imma head back home, see ya!"

...

Blu entered where his clan resides, the East Reefs, looking at the other blue Shellos and Gastrodon and other water pokemon. He sulked as he walked and saw others having a good time with each other. He sighed and then went into his underwater cave. He looked outside to others and hoped he could find happiness in his life. Before he could go to sleep early, there was something that caught his eye, and with a bit of trepidation he walked out of his den to find a strange pokemon in the distance.

He ran as fast as he could to follow it away from his home and saw it land. He crept behind a rock and looked at the towering creature. "Wow, that pokemon looks so cool!" He gasped.

The pokemon looked around, causing Blu to squish himself behind the rock trying to muffle his breathing. It then took off gliding in the water.

He was in awe at the white pokemon that had wings was able to swim underwater "Holy Crap! Who was that!?"

He rushes to the center of the East Reefs and yells. "Guys! Guys! I saw a Pokemon!"

One of the Gastrodon rolled his eyes "There are literally pokemon everywhere!"

Blu immediately protested "No no! It was a huge white pokemon with wings swimming under the sea!"

"How the hell would a pokemon with wings swim underwater!? You are seeing things!" Another Gastrodon called out.

Blu just sighed as some gastrodon dismissed him while others laughed at him.

"He must be a clown now!"

"Are you sure it wasn't just a Wailord!?"

He walked back to his cavern ignoring everyone and began to think about what he could have seen.

"That Pokemon, they looked like they were heading away from East Reefs. I want to see them again! I think they may be a what the others call a "legendary" pokemon." As he mumbled frantically to himself, he began feeling something he never felt for a while... hope. "I want to meet them… so I can ask them what life is truly about!"

Somehow, amidst all his excitement, Blu was still able to go to sleep, waking up super early in the morning and heading straight to his friend- who, on the other hand, wasn't nearly as excited as he was.

"Do we really have to go this early?" Skip yawned.

"Well yes, I'm so excited to go exploring!"

Skip smiled, seeing as his friend was finally out of his depression. "Well I'm glad buddy. Remember! Whatever happens, I'm with you all the way bro!"

He looked back upon the East Reefs and took a deep breath. Both he and Skip started heading west, and not even a minute later Blue decided to bring up what he saw the other day. "Hey, so I know you might think I'm crazy or stupid for saying this but..." He trailed off.

Skip, while sitting upon Blu's head, looked down at his friend. "Go on,"

He sighed. "Well, I saw this Pokemon last night. They looked like they had wings but yet they were swimming underwater. They were white with some blue on them. Everyone thought I was delusional."

"Hey buddy, I believe ya!" Skip let out a hardy laugh. "Besides, you're a horrible liar!"

Blu instantly perked up at his friend's trust in him- only to settle back down at the insult that followed immediately. "Thanks, Skip. But could you be a little nicer, maybe?""

"Nope! We're bros forever, and that means that teasing you is fair game, whether you like it or not!" Skip exclaimed. "But look on the bright side, I got your back and you got mine! Just promise me if you get a girlfriend that it won't come between us!" He laughed

Blu joined in, laughing as well. "Yeah sure Skip. Whatever you say."

They traveled in silence for a bit when Skip finally spoke up after a while. "Soooo, this pokemon you saw. What do you think it was?"

"Hmm" Blu hummed. "Well I have a feeling they're a 'Legendary' Pokemon."

Skip's eyes widened. "Ayo? That's cool! No wonder the others didn't believe you."

"Maybe, but either way, I want to meet them!"

The two friends continued on like this. Minutes blurred into hours, and before they knew it a few days had passed.

"Are we there yet!?" Skip asked drowsily.

"No."

"Do you even know where we're going?" Skip groaned. "We literally have been traveling for a few days!"

"We are going West. That's where that Pokemon was headed."

"The humanity!" He dramatically fainted on Blu's back. "We are lost!"

Blu rolled his eyes.

As he kept walking Skid sat up and squinted and saw something coming towards them. He soon gulped. "U-uh Blu?"

"Skip!" He said annoyed. "For the last time we are not there yet!"

"Y-yeah b-but Blu!?" He raised his voice, pushing his face into the back of the Gastrodon's neck.

"Skip!" He turned and froze to see a Gyarados charging at him. "Oh shit!"

Blu ducked as the Gyarados missed, but it turned around to fire a Hyper Beam.

Blu tried to counter with Hydro Pump but it failed. The Gyarados then swung its tail and hit Blu, sending him flying into some rocks nearby. Blu used Recover to heal, while Skip used headbutt and hit Gyarados in the face drawing attention away from his Gastrodon friend.

"Oi! That's right mate! Come at me, you oversized wannabe dragon!" Skip taunted. The Gyarados used Dragon Rage hitting Skip with blue flames. Skip was sent rolling in the sand and then looked up to see the Gyarados preparing a Hyper Beam.

"It's a joke! A Joke!" He cried out.

Blu then fired an Ice Beam and hit the Gyarados, freezing it before it could release the energy.

"Now's our chance!" Blu called out. He grabbed the Mudkip with his mouth; picking up Skip by his head fin. After a bit of running they ducked behind some Coral. Blu sighed loudly, catching his breath. "Whew, that was a close one".

Skip, annoyed, growled "Next time don't pick me up with my head fin! It's very sensitive!"

Blu chuckled "Sorry. But, why the hell did that Gyarados attack us?"

Skip deadpanned "Well you do know they are very aggressive. Maybe due to territory, maybe due to being just angry."

"Fair... but I hope we didn't lose our path."

"Wait!" Skip squinted and swam away from Blu. "Holy shit..." He trailed off.

Blu raised an eye as to what he saw. He climbed over a huge dune and his jaw dropped. He saw not one or two, but millions of Gastrodon. Yet, they were different from the ones they knew. Instead of their usual blue tones, before them was an entire village of pink colored Gastrodon.

"Pink Gastrodon... I only thought they were myths." Blu whispered in awe.

"Well either way, we've finally made it!" With their whole lives ahead of them, Blu and Skip ventured forth into the city, eager to face whatever came their way.
