Authors Note: Hey, Fairly Odd fans. I didn't think I would return to this here fandom (or writing, tbh) anytime soon, but I had this sudden story idea that I felt needed to be done that involves Sparky's unexplained disappearance within the FOP universe.

So since it may never reveal his whereabouts (unless it's mentioned in the reboot Fairly Odder at some point. If there's a season 2, that is) here's my theory on what happened to him after season 9/the end of the series.

I did once write a former story where he's away in Mexico while Poof was staying at Blonda's house whenever he wasn't at school, but it was eventually scrapped along with all my old fics that just didn't make the cut. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Again, I don't own The Fairly OddParents. Just the stories and art that I make.

Stupid mutt!

That sorry annoying excuse of a dog. He nearly killed me! Twice! No wonder I feel the strong urge to go on vacation and never come back.

We don't talk about Sparky. Ever.

These were the words that echoed endlessly throughout the little yellow fairy dog's mind as he sadly sat there behind cold steel bars looking at old photos, he'd kept of all his previous owners.

Things were going so well when he was Timmy Turner's pet. Sure, he did cause an awful lot of mischief when the boy first took him home from the Fairy World pet store. However, he did manage to win his forgiveness by taking him out for a ride through the streets of Dimmsdale in their giant fiery red monster truck Timmy magically wished up.

If Wanda and Cosmo weren't around, or they were simply useless without their magic Sparky would fearlessly protect him from Vicky's murderous babysitting 'games' whenever the Turners went out to who knows where. He wouldn't hesitate to snarl and attack that bloody maniac if need be.

Under any circumstances would he let anybody, or anything cause him great harm. Making darn sure all his sworn enemies got their just deserts if they dare touch one little hair on his head. They would be prohibited from the Turner household indefinitely if caught trespassing on their property.

He was Timmy's best friend and loyal guard dog to the very end. Too bad he had finally outgrown his special fairy family and was now gone off to college. How he missed his dear boy and their unbreakable bond.

"I warned you that kid was not too bright, Sparky." Jorgen cut in gruffly, interrupting his train of thought as he walked pass Sparky's cage to fill up his empty food dish. The dog yelped in surprise, snapping back to reality at the sound of heavy footsteps pounding the shiny tiled floor.

"Hey, Timmy was actually the best thing that ever happened to me." Sparky replied now more alert of his surroundings.

"In fact, I thought he was the world's best pet owner. He was a way better owner than Mr. Crocker in my opinion. That guy would never save me or the world from certain doom like Timmy did."

"Actually, he did help Turner save the world when he was the Chosen One. Of course, that was only because he didn't have much of a choice. But I still strongly believe the lunatic should've never been granted fairies or a fairy dog in the first place, but whatever the Fairy Council says goes. He was considered a miserable kid at the time believe it or not."

Sparky shut the book he held between his paws feeling the nostalgia kick in. "Oh yeah, Timmy told me the epic story one night when we were all still together. Say, wanna hear the song I wrote him?"

Jorgen rolled his eyes in annoyance, laying the bowl down near Sparky. Seriously, he totally thought the dog was a pain in the butt, but honestly would rather take him over his moronic cousin Cosmo's tomfoolery.

"Pass. Now, eat up. You have some familiar visitors coming in half an hour. Or whenever they show up."

Gee, I sure hope they're not Foop and my evil twin Anti-Sparky coming to get me to join the dark side. Sparky thought nervously with a gulp.

I still remember the time when Poof went through the terrible twos. I've never felt so petrified in my whole life. Who knew a cute tiny creature could be so aggressive? He definitely takes after Wanda alright.

Just then, the pet store door swung open with a ding revealing two young fairies that Sparky hadn't long seen since he left the Turners to become leader of the dog uprising dressed in green and pink vests.

The dog breathed a sigh of relief. Saved by the bell. Literally.

Thank goodness it wasn't the worst-case scenario. The day Sparky surrendered to the Anti-Fairies was the day he'd stop chasing squirrels. Never gonna happen in a million years. Not a chance.

"Sorry we're early, Jorgen. Cosmo just couldn't wait to see Sparky once he heard he was brought back here after his destructive behavior on Earth."

"Wanda, Cosmo! Wow, I hadn't seen you guys in what feels like forever."

"Hey Sparky, long time no see. What's shaking?" Cosmo sang out, waving cheerfully at Sparky.

"Like my new outfit? Doesn't the green really match my eyes? Wanda looks like she's wearing a spiky pink dog collar, but she said it's a choker."

Jorgen inserted a golden key into the padlock on Sparky's cage setting him free once more. "Alright, just take the dog off my hands before I change my mind and keep him locked up forever. Don't let me see him end up back here again, got it? Don't be careless like Turner. Owning a fairy dog is a very big responsibility.''

"Okay. Thanks, Jorgen!" Cosmo chirped, eagerly grabbing the magic flea powder, dog leash, and box of doggy biscuits from his boss before heading outside with Sparky in tow.

"Let's go, Sparky! You're gonna love your new home. Follow me!"

"Good luck, Wanda." Jorgen told her in secret before he grabbed his giant wand from beside the cash register, along with some blueprints laying on the countertop.

"Seriously, you're really gonna need it. Now, if you excuse me, I got an urgent meeting and announcement with the Fairy Council."

"Something tells me I'm gonna need another well-deserved spa day after this is over." Wanda groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration before finally chasing after Cosmo and Sparky.

"Hopefully, Cosmo won't destroy the house or world this time."

Once they arrived at Cosmo and Wanda's house seconds later, Cosmo unhooked Sparky's blue leash from his collar. He looked up at the bright pink house in awe.

"Here we are, home sweet home! What do ya think, Sparky?"

"Well, I-"

Sparky's enthusiasm quickly faded away when a heavy thought struck him like a ton of bricks. Wanda, of course, was the first to notice his immediate change in mood.

"What's the matter, sweetie?"

"I'm really sorry about all the trouble I caused, Wanda. Face it, you guys don't want anything else to do with me. Everyone hates and rejects me because I'm a bad dog. I'm lucky you guys even gave me a second chance."

Wanda reached her hand out to gently scratch behind one of Sparky's orange floppy ears. "Aw, we don't hate you, Sparky."

"Yeah, you can be our dog now." Cosmo added copying Wanda's actions by scratching Sparky's other ear.

"Who needs Dimmsdale when you can spend the rest of eternity here in Fairy World with us. Don't worry, Sparky. We'll take good care of you. I mean, think about it. No more agony caused by crazy Mr. Cracker and his diabolical plans." His emerald eyes sparkling with triumph.

"We're free at last, baby!"

"Sometimes your unexpected boost in intelligence concerns me, dear. I still can't get over the fact you made two board games."

Wanda turned her attention towards Sparky. "Anyway, I bet Poof would be so glad to see you Sparky when he returns home from boarding school. He's away training to earn his very own wand."

Cosmo softly whispered something into Sparky's ear. "How cool, right? Just wait until he comes home with his own diploma. That'll show those pesky Anti-Fairies who's got the better son."

He dug a hand into his forest green vest pocket to grab the house keys, swinging them around his finger with a sly grin.

"So, wanna come live with us and be a part of our little family? We can play video games and order some pizza. Maybe some refreshing root beer?"

"Oh boy, do I ever!'' Sparky barked happily. He was always so fascinated by video games since he used to play them quite frequently with Timmy on a Vicky-free Saturday night before his departure elsewhere.

He showered them with his doggy saliva, then wrapped his fuzzy arms around their bodies tightly. His tail wand wagging at rapid speed.

"Thanks for taking a chance on me guys. You're the best fairy family I could ever have."

Wanda and Cosmo put their own arms around Sparky. Both fairies happy they could give Timmy's dog the forever home he rightfully deserved and protect him from Crocker's evil clutches.

"Welcome to the family, Sparky Cosma."

The End

Authors Note: Aww, Looks like Cosmo finally got his puppy like he wanted in "Timmy's Secret Wish."

The idea of Sparky being Cosmo and Wanda's dog comes from the season 9 episode "Dimmsdale Tales" I really liked the idea, so I went with it for this story. And since they're both fairies themselves it just makes sense for them to own a fairy dog.

This is Fairy Kitten, signing off.
