Bring Our Curses Home

It was all but dark in the empty warehouse, the moonlight shining high above.
Ainosuke, no, Adam, turned slowly, his eyes widening behind his adorned mask, and a smile curving his mouth. "Look who decided to grace my presence," he spoke, as Tadashi stood before him, his trusted secretary, his loyal subject, and who called him Snake.
Tadashi didn't move a muscle, taking a moment to look upon Ainosuke as Adam, in all of his regalia, in all his glory. "I thought that it was only fair to stand by your side, sir," he admitted, his eyes steeled onto Adam, gaze hooded and firm.
"And I certainly could not abandon you."
He placed a hand on his own chest, his heartbeat loud and clear.
For a brief moment, Tadashi wondered if Ainosuke could hear the sound of his drumming heart.
Ainosuke gazed upon Tadashi, walking towards the other man, his footsteps slow and calculated. Tadashi did not waver. He never could, and even when he did, he did not show himself as such. He had known many people throughout his life, especially as both Adam and his career in politics.
Even as Adam, Ainosuke could not forgot the one standing before him now.
"I mean it, sir," Tadashi vowed, his eyes flashing, "I will stay by your side."
"So you do give yourself to me?" Ainosuke asked, his voice lowering, coming forward, and placing his gloved hand on Tadashi's upon his chest, the distance between them closing in.
Tadashi looked upon Ainosuke as Adam, his eyes meeting his master's, his better half, through the mask.
He was almost at a loss for words.
Tadashi nodded. "Yes," he replied, without a doubt or any further hesitation. "Yes, Ainosuke."
Ainosuke smiled as Adam, his grin white. "Good boy."
With that said, he then leaned in to capture Tadashi's lips with his, with his loyal servant kissing him back with everything he had.
