A/N – I have so many ideas in my head and can't seem to get anything written. This little thing popped into my head on the way to work this morning.

Therapy

Ianto Jones rolled over and cracked his eyes before closing them again. He'd forgotten to close the blinds before he went to bed again. He sighed and began to stretch. It was then he realized almost every inch of his body hurt. Flashes crossed his memory… Dr Tanzaki… Lisa… Jack…

He opened his eyes and saw the familiar off-white walls of his bedroom. He looked down and realized that whoever had brought him home had at least had the forethought to clean him up and put some fresh pajama bottoms on him.

Expecting silence, he was surprised to hear someone in his flat. Someone who was trying not to make much noise. Not Jack, then, he thought.

He couldn't hide forever. So, moving slowly as not to anger his protesting body, the Welshman eased himself off the bed, grabbing a t-shirt from the drawer and stepped out into the hall.

A few minutes later he approached the kitchen, having stopped to use the bathroom along the way.

"You're finally up."

Of all the people he expected to see in his kitchen, Toshiko was no where near the top of the list. The Hub's quiet mild mannered computer expert was currently stewing a pot of tea and smiling at him.

She ushered him to the little café table in the corner and returned a few minutes later with tea and toast. She set one cup in front of him with the toast, the second cup at the empty seat then placed the teapot in the middle of the table before sitting down.

They sat in silence for a while. Tosh sipping at her tea, Ianto just staring at his.

"It's just tea, Ianto." She spoke gently. "Jack doesn't even know I'm here."

Ianto looked across the table at her and saw the sincerity in her face. He picked up the cup and took a sip. He might be an expert on making coffee, but Tosh was most certainly the queen of tea brewing.

The minutes ticked by and Ianto took a few bites of the toast.

"Tell me about her." Tosh broke the silence.

Ianto looked up from the table and saw genuine curiosity.

She reached across the small table and put her hand over his. "Ianto, you've kept so much inside you for so long. You've got to let some of it out. Share."

Ianto looked down again. He could feel something welling up inside of him. The fear and sadness that he'd kept hidden for so long.

Tosh's hand tightened on his own. He met her gaze, saw her smile.

Taking a deep breath, he began to speak.

It wasn't therapy… just conversation.
