When the unicorns and Bright Guardian appeared there, the Alderfairy stood up and welcomed them. "Welcome, to the Source," she said, with a quick bow to Kendra.

Kendra said, "I asked you to meet me at the Source since I wish you could help me with my quest to rescue the Fairy Realm from the evil hands of Ronodin… would you be willing to leave the source you are guarding and assist me on my quest?"

"Yes of course, if there was a person to guard it… I would be most appreciative." Elizabeth stepped forward and said, "I will guard it… Queen Kendra thinks I am trustworthy and if you do too; I would be more than willing to guard the Source with my life, unforced, I volunteer.

The Alderfairy nodded, "You are most definitely trusted and dependable, 1st since you are the Fairy Queen's daughter, and also since the Bright Guardian has vouched for you… I am thankful that you are willing to guard the Source, and here are the words you say:

I, Elizabeth James Oliver pledge myself to protect the source, as a temporary transferred guardian in place of the Alderfairy, Eurora. I am trustworthy and vouched by the Alderfairy and Bright Guardian… I will guard the Source with all I can and if I need outside help I will ask for it.

I understand that the way I guard the Source determines the light of all magical beings in the world. I guard it with all I have.

Elizabeth recited the words, and in a blinding flash of light, Elizabeth was equipped with more light power than Kendra had noticed on her.

"It's worked! The lives of the magical beings are in your hands, Elizabeth thank you again." Elizabeth nodded, she quickly embraced her brother and said a few words to him.

Kendra gave her a bracelet, here; I have explained everything you can do with the bracelet, it is since I trust you with all my heart, is why I gave you this… contact me whenever you need anything, please!" Elizabeth looked surprised and astonished.

Gratefully nodding, Elizabeth smiled, "I will most definitely guard it, stay safe. Farewell!"

"Farewell!", Kendra responded. Turning to the others, she asked, "Well, now where should we start? Fablehaven… or to other preserves?

They mentally communicated one word… and Kendra nodded looking pleased. There we will go then! In a flash of light, they appeared in… Fablehaven! But Fablehaven wasn't Fablehaven anymore…
