Author's Note: So, this is my first attempt at writing CSR. I've been reading so many CSR fics lately that I figured I'd just hope on the train and write my own. I honestly don't know where this came from, where it's going or what it is LOL! I started writing and this is what I got. Hopefully it's not too terrible.
Disclaimer: Nope, not mine. I'm just taking them out to play.
Catherine vaguely registered the sound of knocking on her office door. She was too focused on the feeling of Sara's tongue in her mouth and hands on her skin. Thank goodness Sara had the good sense to lock the office door, otherwise whoever was on the other side would get an eyeful if they walked in. Catherine was currently straddling Sara's lap on the couch, slowing rocking her hips while the brunette had her hands up under the strawberry blonde's shirt.
"Catherine, open the door!" Grissom was shouting from the other side. "I know you're in there!"
"Shit." Catherine pulled back, immediately causing Sara to latch onto her neck. "Sar… oh God. Baby, we've gotta stop."
"No." Sara grunted into Catherine's neck. "Ignore him, he'll go away."
Grissom continued to pound on Catherine's door, yelling louder for her to open up. Catherine gave Sara one last heated kiss before mumbling a "Sorry baby" and climbing off of the brunette. Adjusting her shirt and smoothing down her hair, she threw the door open to find an exasperated looking Gil Grissom on the other side.
"About time." Grissom huffed as he walked into the office, taking in a smug looking Sara Sidle sitting on the couch.
"Well, hello to you too, Gil." Catherine greeted sarcastically.
Sara gave him a shit eating grin as she buttoned the top of her shirt back and ran her hands through her hair, never moving from her place on Catherine's office couch.
"How many times do I have to tell you two that you cannot have sex in the lab?" Grissom looked between the two women, his face showing his disapproval.
"Technically, we're not in the lab." Catherine said as she made her way to her desk, perching herself on the edge. "And we weren't having sex."
"Yet." Sara mumbled.
"Sara!" Catherine hissed at her girlfriend.
"What?" Sara shrugged. "We would have if he hadn't started beating the door down."
"I swear, you two are worse than teenagers." Grissom rolled his eyes.
"Oh, c'mon Griss!" Sara barked out a laugh. "Like you and Heather haven't gotten it on in your office before. I know for a fact that poor Greg has been traumatized by you guys more than once."
"This isn't about me and Heather." Grissom raised an eyebrow.
"That's like the pot calling the kettle black." Sara smirked as she pointed at him. "You can't lecture us on something that you yourself have done."
"Yes, well, you two evidently make a habit of it more than Heather and I do." Grissom replied as he crossed his arms.
"You're just jealous." Sara laughed at the look on his face.
"Anyway." Catherine finally spoke, breaking up the bickering between her best friend and her girlfriend. "What did you need Gil?"
"Ecklie is sending night shift to a conference in Los Angeles." Grissom broke the news, prepared for what he knew was coming. "We leave the day after tomorrow."
"What?!" Catherine screeched. "When the hell did he decide this?"
"I just found out about it when I came in." Grissom answered his friend. "I'm not happy about it, either."
"How long is the conference?" Sara asked, still not having moved from her place on the couch.
"Four days." Grissom replied with a sigh. "It's mandatory."
"Four days?! This is ridiculous!" Catherine flopped down on the couch and turned to Sara. "Now, we have to figure out what to do with Lindsey."
"You know Nancy, or your Mom won't care to keep her, Cath." Sara put her arm around the older woman. Sara knew that Catherine's mother and sister would have no problem taking the ten-year-old for a few days.
"Ecklie better be putting us up somewhere nice." Catherine huffed as she settled into Sara's side.
"How's the Ritz-Carlton sound?" Grissom smirked at his friend.
"Well, I guess it will have to do." Catherine sighed dramatically, leaning her head on Sara's shoulder.
"Is she always this high maintenance?" Grissom looked at Sara with a smirk.
"You have no idea." Sara grinned, kissing the top of Catherine's head. "We've been wanting to get away for a while anyway, Cath."
"Well then consider it a vacation that you get paid to go on." Grissom handed both women a packet with an itinerary and plane tickets.
"Yeah, but my idea of a vacation doesn't include 4 days of training and meetings." Catherine pouted as she looked over the conference schedule.
"Oh nice, first class." Sara smirked as she looked at the tickets, waggling her eyebrows at her girlfriend. "Hey Cath, can I interest you in joining the mile high club?"
"There will be no joining of the mile high club on a company paid plane." Grissom's eyes went wide as he turned and left the office.
"Buzz kill!" Sara called after him with a laugh. "Tell Heather hi!"
"You're terrible." Catherine said as she elbowed the brunette in the side.
"You love me." Sara whispered into the blonde's ear with a grin.
"I do." Catherine practically panted.
Sara's tongue traced the shell of Catherine's ear before moving down her neck. Catherine buried her hands in Sara's hair, moaning softly when she felt Sara's tongue on her neck. Catherine's hand had just slipped under Sara's tank top when a giddy looking Greg Sanders burst into the room.
"Fucking hell." Sara mumbled into blonde hair.
"What the hell, Greg!" Catherine yelled, yanking her hand out from under her lover's shirt.
"Oh, hey." Greg waggled his eyebrows. "Don't stop on my account!"
"You're a perv." Sara snapped at her friend.
"Can't blame a guy for trying." Greg gave her a wide grin.
"What do you want, Greg?" Catherine shot him a glare that could melt steel.
"Did Grissom tell you guys about L.A.?" Greg ignored Catherine's glare.
"Yep, sure did." Sara mumbled, too busy watching Catherine's ass as she got up and walked to her desk.
"This is gonna be so awesome!" Greg was practically jumping up and down. "California girls are so hot!"
"Hey, maybe you'll finally get laid!" Sara smirked at her friend as she finally tore her gaze away from her girlfriends behind.
"You're hilarious." Greg deadpanned. "I get laid. All the time."
"Sure, ya do, Greggo." Sara laughed at the look on his face.
"You're right, Greg." Catherine gave Sara a lust filled look. "California girls are hot."
The moment was broken up by the sound of a cell phone ringing. Catherine looked down to see it was hers. Answering it, she listened to the voice on the other end before hanging up and closing the phone.
"I gotta go, hon." Catherine leaned down and gave Sara a slow kiss before heading to the door. "I've got a body to check out in the morgue."
"The only body you better be checking out is mine!" Sara called as she finally climbed off the couch.
"Always, baby." Catherine winked at her. "Always."
