The city of Inkopolis, particularly the eastern part of it, was now a mess. A bird invasion had left many injured and dead, and now, dozens upon dozens of people were found blown up. Many believe that this could all be linked to a terror attack, however, many are skeptical. There still remains no explanation for these odd occurrences, and the day is already being considered a national tragedy. Only three people are aware of the true nature of these incidents. Taka DeMarco, Yasuha Anri, and Starman.
Taka and Yasuha were now hurrying their way to the train station. Venus and Cosmic Girl had made them run late, and the train was leaving soon. As they were running, Yasuha asked, "Hey, why do you call me kid? You're only like- 30, and act like you're a wise 60 year old." Taka laughed, "Well, you're 11 years younger than me. That's quite the gap, kid." Yasuha exclaimed, "I don't wanna be called a kid!"
Eventually, the two reached the train station. Taka said, "Here it is. This is the train Starman's gonna board." Yasuha grew determined, saying, "This is it. There's no more henchmen or whatever for him to throw at us. It'll finally just be us versus him. When I get this over with, life's gonna be so much better. It'll be a new chapter in the life of Yasuha Anri!" Taka smirked, "I like your spirit! After this, life is probably gonna continue as it always has for me. These past 5 years, I've just been fightin' crime and living off of money made from my band. Oh, and my rich friend sends me a shit ton of cash occasionally."
As the two continued to talk about their future, they suddenly remembered what they were there for. Taka exclaimed, "Oh crap, the train's leaving now!" The two ran towards the doors of the train, ignoring the employee asking them for their tickets. The doors of the train closed, and Taka and Yasuha were now on board. Yasuha asked, "Wait- so where's Starman? Shouldn't he be somewhere around here?" Taka shrugged his arms and said, "We outta look for him. Don't cause too much of a commotion."
The two began to walk through the train cars, looking for any sign of their enemy. Suddenly, while searching for Starman, Yasuha tripped. His chest collided with the corner of a table, which slightly wounded him. He got up and said, "Don't worry, I'm fine." The wound was minor, so it wasn't of any concern to Yasuha. It did burn a bit, so he planned on fixing himself up eventually. He was too busy searching for Starman, however. The two had now begun to wonder if they boarded the wrong train, or if Starman had decided to not go.
Right as Yasuha was about to speak up, Taka pointed at his neck and said, "Yo, what happened?" Yasuha raised an eyebrow and said, "You've got a wound on your neck." Yasuha replied, "Oh, that's just from when I had tripped. No big deal." "But wasn't it your chest which had gotten hurt?" Yasuha said, "Yeah. Wait- what?" He began to poke around his neck, and he felt the wound. It was just like the wound which he had on his chest. He starting touching around his chest, and felt nothing. "I... I guess it was my neck that got hurt." he said.
"No... that's not right." replied Taka, "We'd have a much bigger problem if that table collided with your neck. But it just hit your chest, so it was no big deal." Yasuha replied, "Well, there ain't nothin' on my chest. So we must've just gotten where I got hurt wrong." Taka sighed as he realized that this whole interaction was pointless, and the two continued their search. As Yasuha continued to look around, he felt a burning sensation on his chin. He whipped his phone out to use it as a sort of mirror, and he saw that his chin was wounded.
Yasuha became confused, as he never remembered his chin ever being harmed in any sort of way. He then realized that the wound on his neck was now gone. Yasuha began to freak out, which caught the attention of Taka. Yasuha asked, "Dude, what the hell is goin' on?!" Taka asked what he meant, and Yasuha exclaimed, "The wound, it was on my chest, and then my neck, and now- it's on my chin!" Taka raised an eyebrow, "There's a wound on your chin? I don't see anything. There is a wound next to your lip, however."
Yasuha touched his lip, realizing that the wound had now moved up even higher. He began to hyperventilate, "Dude, what the fuck is goin' ON!?" Taka exclaimed, "Chill! We'll figure it out!" As Yasuha panicked, his wound moved up even higher. Now, it was just below his left eye. Before long, the wound had moved to his eye.
Yasuha grasped it as he yelled in pain, his eye severely injured. He could now only see out his right eye.
