One afternoon in the forest, Bambi and his two best friends, Thumper and Flower, were taking a walk, and they were tired.
"This is exhausting," said Thumper. "What do you guys wanna do?"
"I don't know," said Flower.
"Well, I'm already bored," said Thumper.
"But I'm not," said Bambi.
"What do you mean, you're not bored?" asked Thumper.
"I was just thinking about someone," said Bambi.
"Who?" asked Flower.
"Faline," said Bambi.
"You mean, the girl you met the other day?" asked Thumper.
"Yes," said Bambi. "That's exactly who I'm talking about, ever since my mom died."
"And how did she die?" asked Flower.
Bambi sighed. "Well, she was killed by Man," he said sadly.
"Oh, no," Thumper and Flower gasped at the same time.
"What did he do to her?" asked Thumper.
"He shot her dead," said Bambi.
"Oh," said Thumper and Flower.
"We're really sorry, Bambi," said Flower.
"Yeah," said Thumper. "We truly are."
"Don't worry," said Bambi. "Besides, I still have you guys, especially Faline."
"Oh, that's right," said Thumper, nodding.
Flower nodded as well.
"Oh, and speaking of Faline..." started Bambi.
Before Bambi could talk more, he heard a cry for help. "Did you guys hear that?" he asked.
"Yeah," said Thumper. "What was that?"
"It sounds like Faline," said Bambi.
"What might have happened to her?" asked Flower.
"I don't know," said Bambi. "But I think she's in trouble. We better go see if she's all right. Come on!"
So the trio ran off to find Faline. As they ran, they saw her in a wooden cage.
"There she is," said Bambi.
"Bambi! Help!" Faline called out to Bambi.
"Don't worry, Faline," said Bambi. "We're coming!"
Before Bambi and his friends could proceed further, they stepped on a rope, causing a net that was hung up to a tree to catch them and leave them hanging in it.
"Hey! Get us out of here!" shouted Thumper.
Then, Ronno appeared with a nasty laugh. "Well, well, well," he said. "What have we here?"
"You!" Bambi said angrily to Ronno.
Bambi tried to break free from the net, but he couldn't.
Ronno laughed again. "Nice try, Bambi," he said. "It looks like we have some trespassers who just entered my trap while trying to free my mate."
The trio gasped.
"You did this?" demanded Bambi.
"Well, of course I did," said Ronno. "So you pesky pinheads wouldn't get away with my plans for poor little Faline."
"You won't get away with this!" shouted Bambi.
Ronno laughed once more. "Oh, yes, I will," he said.
Bambi tried to break free once more, but still, he couldn't.
"Give up now, huh?" said Ronno. "I'll be back later."
With that, Ronno left with another nasty laugh, leaving the three trapped in the hanging net.
"Oh, what are we gonna do?" asked Flower.
"We have to get out of here," said Bambi.
"But how?" asked Thumper. "Ronno set us a trap."
"Well, he's not gonna get away with this," said Bambi. "We're gonna save Faline!"
With all his strength, Bambi struggled harder to break free from the net, and finally, he was able to.
Thumper and Flower got out of the net as well.
"So, what's the plan?" asked Thumper.
"The plan is to stop Ronno and save Faline," said Bambi.
"How are we gonna do that?" asked Flower.
"We just gotta get Faline out of that cage," said Bambi.
So the trio started to walk towards the cage, but suddenly, they stepped onto a rope that grabbed them by their ankles and hung them from the ground.
Faline gasped at the sight.
"Oh, no," said Bambi. "It's another trap!"
Then, Ronno returned, and he was shocked. "How did you escape my trap?" he asked the trio.
"Easy," Bambi said as he pointed towards the torn net.
"What?!" exclaimed Ronno. "You'll pay for this!"
"Don't make me fight you, Ronno," said Bambi.
"It would be easy," said Ronno.
"More like difficult," said Bambi.
"We'll see about that," said Ronno. "In fact, I have a better idea."
"And what is it?" demanded Bambi.
Ronno snickered. "I'll take Faline to the meadow instead," he said.
"Oh, no!" said Bambi. "Not the meadow!"
Ronno let out a nasty laugh. "See you later, losers," he said.
With that, Ronno took Faline out of her cage and ran off with her on his back.
"Bambi!" cried Faline.
"Faline!" cried Bambi.
Then, Bambi tried to break free from the ropes, but to no avail. "It's no use," he said. "How are we ever gonna save Faline now?"
"Don't give up, Bambi," said Thumper. "We'll figure this out."
"Yeah, but we're tied up to these ropes," said Bambi. "How are we gonna get down?"
Thumper thought about it. Then he had an idea. He untied the ropes from his ankles. Then he hopped up and untied the ropes from Bambi and Flower's ankles as well. Then they all fell to the ground.
"Wow," said Bambi. "Thanks, Thumper."
"No problem," said Thumper.
"How did you do that?" asked Flower.
"It was my quick-thinking brain," said Thumper.
Bambi and Flower giggled a bit.
"Now, how are we gonna get to the meadow?" asked Thumper.
Bambi knew he needed to go through the meadow to save Faline. "You know, just the idea of going through the meadow makes me feel like fainting," he said. "But Faline's life is in danger. Who's with me?"
Thumper and Flower looked at each other and nodded. "We are!" they said.
"All right, then," said Bambi. "Let's save Faline!"
So the trio ran off to find the meadow.
Meanwhile, Ronno was walking into the meadow with Faline on his back.
Faline was worried about Bambi. "Oh, Bambi," she said. "Where are you?"
Then, Ronno looked back and saw Bambi, Thumper, and Flower standing behind him and ready to attack. "What the?" he said. "You again?"
"Give up, Ronno," said Bambi. "Or I will fight you."
Ronno laughed. "You can't make me do that, Bambi," he said. "My strength is stronger than yours."
"Oh, yeah?" said Bambi. "We'll see about that."
Bambi cracked his bones and walked up to Ronno, and Ronno did the same.
"Come on, Bambi," said Thumper. "Smack him!"
"You can do it, Bambi," said Flower. "We believe in you."
Then, Bambi and Ronno began to fight fawn style. They shoved their hooves onto each other until one of them was pushed off.
Ronno was pushed to the ground by Bambi, who was ready to give him one last shove.
After being shoved for the last time, Ronno dropped Faline and ran out of the meadow, away from Bambi and the gang.
Faline, who pulled herself up from the ground, walked towards Bambi and buried her face in his neck. "You saved me," she said.
"Oh, it was nothing," said Bambi, blushing.
"Where did you learn those skills?" asked Faline.
"It just happens," said Bambi. "I really don't know what to say, but, yeah, you know what I mean."
"I do," said Faline.
Thumper thumped his foot while Flower blushed at the sight.
"Now, come on," said Bambi. "Let's get you home."
"Thank you," said Faline.
"You're welcome," said Bambi.
With that, Bambi and the gang walked back into the forest and took Faline safely home.
The End
