One morning in the forest, the three good fairies were helping Aurora get ready for her walk in the woods.
Flora added the finishing touches on Aurora's outfit. "There, you're ready," she said.
"Why, it's lovely," said Aurora, looking at her outfit.
"We're glad you like it, dear," said Fauna.
"We sure are," said Merryweather.
Then, Merryweather grabbed a basket and gave it to Aurora, just in case she wanted to pick some berries.
Then, Aurora started to walk out the door.
"Now, remember, dear," said Flora. "Be careful out there. It can be dangerous and we don't want you to get hurt."
"I know, I know," said Aurora.
With that, Aurora walked out the door and waved goodbye to the fairies.
"Do you think she'll be all right?" asked Merryweather.
"Of course she will," said Flora.
"Besides, Prince Phillip may be out there," said Fauna.
"That's right," said Flora. "So, she'll be perfectly safe."
"Well, let's hope so," said Merryweather.
"Oh, and don't worry," said Flora. "She'll be back before midday."
Meanwhile, Aurora was walking in the forest, singing as she met with some animals. The animals all sang with her, following her rhythm.
"Well, good morning, everyone," Aurora said to the animals.
Birds chirped, rabbits jumped, and squirrels chattered with excitement, but they were also asking Aurora what she was doing.
"Oh, I'm just taking a walk in the forest," said Aurora. "That's all."
The animals nodded in agreement.
"Well, guess I better be going," Aurora said as she continued to walk and sing in the forest.
Meanwhile, Prince Phillip, who was riding his horse, Samson, heard Aurora's singing voice. "Well, what do you know," he said. "It's the same voice I heard that other day."
Samson became really excited that he lifted his front hooves.
"So, you want to go see Aurora again?" Phillip asked his horse.
Samson nodded in agreement.
"Then what are we waiting for?" said Phillip. "Let's go!"
With that, Phillip and Samson went to follow Aurora's voice. After a few miles, they no longer heard her voice.
"That's strange," said Phillip. "I thought I heard her voice around here."
Samson looked around the forest, using his listening ears, but there was still no sign of Aurora.
"Hmm, maybe she might be lost out here, don't you think?" said Phillip.
Samson became shocked at what Phillip said.
"Oh, dear," said Phillip. "Come on, Samson. We've got to warn the three good fairies."
So Phillip and Samson ride off to the woodcutter's cottage to alert the good fairies.
Meanwhile, Aurora found herself in the middle of nowhere in the forest. "Oh, dear," she said to herself. "Where am I?"
Aurora looked around. "Hello? Is someone around here?" she called out.
But there was no answer.
Aurora felt ashamed. "Oh, why didn't I listen to Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather when they told me to be careful out here?" she said.
Suddenly, it started to get windy and foggy.
"Oh, dear," said Aurora. "I've got to get out of here."
Then, Aurora heard a hoot. She turned around and saw an owl. "Oh, hello, Mr. Owl," she said to it. "I'm lost out here. Do you think you can help me find my way back to the cottage?"
The owl hooted in agreement.
"Why, thank you very much," said Aurora.
So Aurora and the owl started to walk through the forest to help Aurora find her way to the cottage.
Meanwhile, Phillip and Samson had arrived at the woodcutter's cottage. Then Phillip knocked on the door.
"Come in," Flora said from inside.
Phillip opened the door and saw the fairies cleaning the cottage.
"Well, hello, Prince Phillip," said Flora.
"Hello, Your Excellencies," said Phillip. "Sorry if this is a bad time."
"Oh, it's quite all right," said Fauna.
"What do you need, Your Highness?" asked Merryweather.
"It's about Aurora," said Phillip.
"What's wrong?" asked Fauna.
"Is she all right out there?" asked Flora.
"I don't think so," said Phillip. "I think she's lost."
The fairies were shocked.
"Oh, no!" said Flora.
"It can't be!" said Merryweather.
"What shall we do?" asked Fauna.
"We have to find her and bring her back," said Phillip.
"You're right," said Flora. "Come on!"
So Phillip, the fairies, and Samson went out of the cottage and into the foggy and windy forest to find Aurora. As they walked, the fog got even foggier.
"Does anyone have a light or something?" asked Phillip.
"Don't worry," said Flora. "We do."
The fairies turned on their light on their magic wands, making them, Phillip, and Samson see better.
As the gang continued to walk, the wind blew even harder, blowing the fairies towards a tree, causing them to hit it.
Phillip and Samson ran over to the fairies.
"Are you three okay?" asked Phillip.
The fairies got back up.
"Yes, we're fine," said Flora.
"How are we gonna get through all this wind and fog?" asked Merryweather.
Fauna thought about it. "Hmm, it looks like we're gonna have to fight against this kind of weather," she said.
"Good thinking, Fauna," said Flora.
"How are we gonna do that?" asked Merryweather.
"Just follow Fauna's lead," said Flora.
"Sounds good to me," said Phillip.
So the gang tried their best to fight against the wind by blocking themselves, and it turned out to be a success. Then they saw a shadow.
"What's that?" asked Fauna.
"It looks like a shadow," said Merryweather.
Then, Flora looked at the shape of the shadow. 'Wait a minute," she said. "That shadow looks familiar."
The others looked at the shadow as well.
"So, that means Aurora must be around here!" said Phillip.
"Then what are we waiting for?" said Flora. "Follow that shadow!"
So the gang ran towards the shadow in hope that they would find Aurora. When they reached the shadow, they realized it wasn't Aurora's.
"Okay, maybe this isn't Aurora's shadow," said Flora.
"So, that means..." Fauna said fearfully.
"It's a monster!" exclaimed Merryweather.
"Let's get out of here!" shouted Phillip.
So the gang ran off and away from the shadow.
Meanwhile, Aurora and the owl were still walking in the forest. Then they saw three little lights coming towards her.
Aurora became terrified. She tried to get away, but then someone bumped into her - it was Phillip and the gang.
Aurora smiled and hugged Phillip.
"Are you all right, Aurora?" asked Phillip.
"Oh, yes," said Aurora.
Then, Aurora hugged the fairies.
"We were so worried about you," said Flora.
"We're so glad you're safe," said Fauna.
Now, Aurora really was ashamed. "I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you, Flora," she said.
"Oh, it's all right, dear," said Flora. "Besides, this all made a big difference."
"It did?" asked Aurora.
"Yes," said Flora. "You showed us you could handle things on your own."
"You're right," said Aurora.
"What matters is that you're safe now," said Phillip.
Aurora smiled.
"Now, come on, dear," said Flora. "Let's get you back to the cottage."
So the gang walked back to the cottage with the owl guiding them, and Aurora never got lost again.
The End
