"Chaor, he… he really knows about this?" asked Takinom.
"That's what he said at least, and neither of them were willing to tell us anything any further than that," said Tom.
"And by now the two of you should know that you can trust the four of us, we would never do anything to purposely hurt any of the creatures here on Perim," said Sara.
"The world has changed, Takinom, maybe it's time that we don't have to hide our secret anymore," said Intress.
"Alright, but you tell them," said Takinom.
"This may be a surprise, but Takinom and I are actually twins," said Intess as she turned her attention back to the humans.
"Say what now?" asked Peyton as he and the other's jaws dropped.
"Our parents were an Overworlder and an Underworlder, they were killed in battle but had separated us to each other's home tribe for safety," said Takinom.
"Years ago I discovered papers that told about our births in the archives of Chaor's castle in a forgotten section, and the two of us have been meeting up on this night every year since we learnt about our relationship" she said.
"That's not all the truth actually," said Maxxor as he and Chaor came out from behind another boulder.
"You were here the whole time?" asked Intress.
"We were, and it's about time that you two heard the truth about what happened to your parents," said Chaor.
"What do you mean?" asked Intress.
"Your parents were actually friends to our fathers and had secretly married each other when they fell in love, however someone found out and threatened the two of them," said Maxxor.
"Our fathers helped to fake their deaths at the same time that they promised to take care of their newborn daughters," said Chaor.
"You two knew about this the whole time?" asked Takinom.
"As leaders of the tribes we were sworn to keep it a secret, as those who wanted your parents dead are almost all still around with only a few left," said Maxxor.
"But seeing how things are changing around here it might be a good time to reveal this secret," said Chaor.
"As well as start to search for your parents and where they may have gone," he said.
"Are you sure?" asked Intress.
"We are," said Maxxor.
"Guess that means we don't have to meet up as sisters just once a year," said Takinom as she gave one of her rare smiles that had no murders intent behind it.
"Excuse me, but I have a request for the two of you," said Tom as he held his scanner up.
"You want new scans, right?" asked Intress.
"If you wouldn't mind, I want to see if anything changed with the both of you with this," said Tom. Both Intress and Takinom agreed and Tom took a scan of the both of them.
"Whoa," said the four humans as they looked at the new scans.
