"What do you mean that it's all around us?" asked Maxxor.

"The energy that was inside the Cothica was released and entered the world itself, fusing with the soil, plants, and even the creatures," said Afjak.

"Is that why places with strange abilities exist all over Perim?" asked Najarin with a shocked expression.

"Like the Runic Grove," said Sara.

"That's where the Cothica was destroyed, the majority of the energy went to the First Tree and the Grove grew from there," said Afjak.

"And over time more and more energy just seeped out across the lands, skys, and seas," he said.

"So, this whole time the artifact that all the tribes have been searching for has actually been under their feet?" asked Kaz.

"Or above their heads in some cases," said Peyton.

"Najarin, can you ever forgive me for being so foolish as to act on my own?" asked Afjak while looking over at the ederly wizard.

"Of course, it was my fault after all, I should have allowed you in on more of my studies instead of pushing you away just because they were a little dangerous," said Najarin as he flew over to take the chains off.

"So, the question is can you forgive me, son?" he asked while placing his hands on his shoulders.

"Of course, dad," said Afjak as he hugged the old wizard.

"Dudes, your father and son?!" asked Peyton as everyone looked at the two with shocked expressions.

"That's correct," said Najarin.

"Guess the two of us aren't the only ones with family secrets," said Intress as she looked over at Takinom.

"But wait, how did you even manage to go back in time in the first place?" asked Odu.

"It's a completely different story," said Afjak.

"One that no longer will work I should mention," said Tom.

The End.
