Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Warhammer/Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Warhammer/Halo, Microsoft, 343 and Gameshop do.

The flash of light marked not only the celebration of a day-long remembered in their history. One which would only see, to understand more as of now.

It was known as the Night of the Crashing Star. It was the night a ship had slowly seemed to crash to the ground. It brought with its tech which the Tau Empire had gathered around. The idea had been something that wasn't yet noticed for now. Whatever was for a while. Whatever seemed to be next? They did not know nor care. It had brought them their salvation and that had been more than enough for them and their empire.

The ship had given them many things, technology, purpose, an ideal…. Yet? The Tau had only just mobilized their empire, only just called upon those to serve in its fire caste. Many of its warriors were eager to know what the Eternals had since asked of them or would be down the road.

There was a new enemy. One to which the crashing star had belonged. Its enemy was new to the Tau and their empire, but their intentions were well known to the empire and its allies which was why 90% of the massive Fire Caste had been mobilized to greet them.

"This adventure will be most costly compared to what we have been afforded, is there… No. I understand what will be coming. I will not falter before this." He stated before he seemed to question what had been done.

Dozens of fire warriors above seemed to be prepared for what had been asked of them. Then again? It had been a lot more for them to handle than anyone else. What little this was been prepared for was probably not enough for them. They had warriors and they had weapons. But their enemy had both ships which seemed to dwarf them in terms of scale at the time before now. it had a lot more now to question.

His suit, an XV86 Coldstar sealed up behind him as he motioned forwards his younger kin forward. He had been blessed with a command for his brothers, but he was nowhere near the top of command… Yet? He had been chosen to lead their flame forward.

"And what do we do if they… When they oppose us? They will strike us over and over until we are nothing but ash." He questioned only to be greeted with nothing.

The star had been cloaked in weapons. It was maintained for war and they had found a lot more weaponry and such aboard it. The idea that they would be engaging the masters of its technology was utterly terrifying for now. This had been something to consider for now. Whatever came next would be a nightmare for them to contend with.

Yet? He could not allow this fear to spread, it could not be shown towards their enemies if anything? They invited more conflict with all of this was said and done before now. What came next would be a weird little point in their history.

"Then we engage them. They will not stand in the way of the plans we have created. Be ready for anything. I do not wish for you to do something that will gain us any amount of trouble, commander." He heard as he frowned to himself. "Do not feel as if we are set in stone. Each commander is free to see the plan through as they see fit. Reinforcements will be sent as needed, but a set number must still exist. We need many warriors to defend this world still." He heard.

He nodded to himself and slowly started to march forward, interested in what would come next.

He slowly marched towards his craft which would soon depart. They'd all be ready for what was demanded of them.

They and their allies marched forward, wrapped with newer purpose all over their bodies. This ended today sooner or later. It had to end before now. It had to end sooner or later and it would if they were given what they wanted for now. It had been something terrible for now either way… It had to be done and dusted.

He readied himself for the war with the 'Covenant'.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that next chapter before now. No, the Tau aren't a pathetic loser for now. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months. The next chapter will show the commander and his Hunting Cadre looking for more allies and more about their plan. Until the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be delayed for now.
