"Athena. Why have you called a meeting?" The king of the gods, Zeus asked to his daughter.
"It's something that concerns this girl." The wisdom goddess then pointed to Ollie, who was beneath her throne.
"Who is she?" It was Poseidon, the god of the seas, questioned. He felt some sort of familiarity with the girl, as if she was someone he knew. The said girl then cleared her throat and started speaking.
"I am Olivia Jackson. I'm a daughter of Poseidon." Gasps were heard at the mention of her parent. Zeus glared at his brother, which was answered by Poseidon with a look of uncertainty. "Before you get angry Lord Zeus." She almost gagged at her words. "I'm not from this world." Her words sent shock to the council members. "I am supposed to be Percy but in my world I was born a girl."
This made Aphrodite curious. "How were you brought to our world? And is there any differences between your world and ours?" She questioned the girl.
"The last thing I remember before I woke up in this world was that I touched an artifact." She then tried to remember the name. "If I recall correctly, it's name is Pandra's Box?"
"Pandora." The wisdom goddess corrected. " It's an artifact of amazing powers. No one knows what's inside and opening it could bring an end to civilizations. Why were you touching it?" The goddess asked.
"Someone tried to open it." The girl answered. A demigod by the name of Matthew heard that opening it would grant someone a wish. He wished that the gods and goddesses loved their children and more." She then sighed as she remembered what happened next. "I stopped him before he could open it fully. I was closing it and when I did, there was a flash of light and now I'm here." The demigoddess finished explaining. "As for your another question, Lady Aphrodite, some things are vastly different here compared to my world. For example, Lady Artemis in my world is a man."
Her sentence made the sun god laugh, which lightly irritated the girl. "And Lord Apollo is a girl." This shut the laughing god up. Ollie spoke once more. "Lord Zeus is madly in love with Lady Hera, and Lord Hades is the camp director." Ollie continued to explain the differences to the council. Once done, she then moved to the point of why she asked for the council's audience. "Gods and Goddesses, I have called for you because I am asking for help. I want to return to my world." She announced. "Lady Athena have found a way to send me back, it just needs a ton of power that only a god could output."
"Why not just ask one or two Olympians to do it?" Was the question of Ares, the god of war.
"They will fade." Was the simple reply of Athena, which surprised everyone. "The more gods join, the lesser the power taken from a god. The whole council can do this without blinking."
"Why should we help her?" Was the question of Dionysius, who was chuckling to himself.
"Because her world needs her back!" Hestia answered indignantly, angry at the lack of empathy that the god of wine had.
"Still not enough reason." This time, it was the god of war who spoke out.
"I would do it if Percy asks me." Hermes shrugged. This led to an impasse, with some of the gods not really wanting to lend her a hand, and some of them wanting to.
"Then you should consider doing it." Came the voice of Percy, who walked into where his counterpart is. "Hi dad, long time no see." He waved towards the god of the seas, who smiled and waved back.
"Hello, Son."
"Please help her get back to her world." Percy started to speak. "We'll do anything in our power makes sure she can go."
"How about this." Aphrodite voiced out. "You do everyone on the council a task and in exchange, we'll help with your problem. Does that sound fair to you, Olivia?"
"If that's the best I could get, then I'll do it." The outlander responded. "But please, do not give me an impossible task. Rescuing your little kids is fine, but tasking me with saving the world on Olympus' behalf, that's not gonna be my job."
"Anyone in opposition of Aphrodite's idea, raise your hand." Zeus asked. After ten seconds of no one disagreeing, he started to speak once again. "Alright, you'll have to do a task per god on this council, Olivia. After that, you can notify my wife so she can call the council and perform the ritual to send you home. If there's no more questions, then the meeting is dismissed." After his word, most of them flashed out, leaving Artemis, Athena, Hera, Hestia, and Poseidon.
"Don't worry about a task from me, Olivia." The hearth goddess spoke out. "I'm helping you with or without anything in return, same with these two." She pointed to both Hera and Artemis.
"You already helped with rescuing my daughter Olivia. You don't have to worry." Athena reassured the girl.
"You're my daughter... Err at least the me from your world. Parents would do everything for their children without anything in exchange." The sea god proudly smiled at his words. He turned his attention to his son. "Can you come with me to Atlantis Percy? It's been so long since you've been there. Triton and Amphitrite misses you. Olivia can come too, if she wants."
"Sure dad. I've missed seeing the sights in Atlantis so I guess I'll go. How about you Ollie, do you want to come?"
Ollie shook her head. "I'd like to get started with the tasks they have for me. But thank you for inviting me, Percy."
"Okay." The son of Poseidon seemed dejected, but quickly smiled and spoke once more. "Let me know if you need help, Ollie. I'm an IM away." He said as he came close to his father. "Let's go to Atlantis dad."
It took Olivia three months to finish most the task she was asked to do. Most of them were easy, like rescuing demigods and fetching an item. The council was once again gathered, and everything was ready for the ritual. Hecate was in the middle of the council, ready to start.
"We have gathered here as Hera was notified by Olivia that she has completed all the tasks you have given her. Is that true?" The king of the gods, Zeus, questioned. No one spoke after his words, which prompted him to speak once again. "Since no one has spoken against my words, then that means she had completed her tasks. It is time for us to honor our end of the bargain." Zeus then prodded the goddess of magic to start. "Hecate, if you could start the ritual."
The goddess nodded and proceeded to start the ritual. Waving her hands and enchanting various words over and over. Minutes passed before the said goddess spoke. "I'm going to need the energy now." Said Hecate as her hands motioned a portal that slowly appeared in the center of the meeting hall. The council then pointed their fingers at the struggling goddess and the portal became apparent.
Ollie smiled as her efforts had clearly paid off.
It wasn't for long as the goddess that started the ritual once again struggled. "I can't hold it!" Hecate tried her best to hold the stability of the portal but ultimately failed as the goddess fainted.
The smile on Ollie's face disappeared, replaced by a fear and sadness. 'I have no way home.' The demigoddess was unable to hold her tears. Hestia saw the outlander and hurried to where she was.
"It's okay Ollie, we can try it once more." The hearth goddess said as she hugged the crying girl and rubbed her back.
Silence enveloped the area. The only audible sound was the cries of the demigoddess. Everyone present, even those that did not care about the girl were all dejected.
So this where the strong source of energy came from. A booming voice spoke which put everyone on their guard.
"Who dares to interrupt the council!?" Zeus questioned as he readied the master bolt.
I don't think you have the power, king of the gods. The voice answered and a portal appeared in the center. This time, two beings came out of one was the primordial of creation and the other was the son of Poseidon.
"Percy?" The god of the seas asked. This prompted everyone to look at the said teen who was arguing with the other being.
"I told you that adding that much bass in your voice is not fun." The emerald eyed demigod said to the mother of creation, who pouted at his words.
"It worked, look at them, they're all scared shitless." Lady Chaos laughed to which the demigod could only facepalm.
"Percy my nephew, who is she?" The king of the gods asked, curious to who was the intruder. The goddesses who knew the primordial all sighed in relief and a bit of annoyance.
"It's Lady Chaos." The son of Poseidon said in a matter-of-fact voice.
"I told you that you don't need to call me Lady, Percy." The primordial said. "And yes, I came here to investigate the sudden spike of power that I felt. I stopped it from tearing in the fabric of reality."
"So you're the one who destabilized the portal, Lady Chaos?" The goddess of magic, Hecate, asked in bated breaths.
"Yes I did, why are you trying to open a portal?"
"We're trying to send her home." The sun god answered the question as he pointed to the demigoddess, who stopped crying when she felt the presence of the primordial.
"So that's what you guys are trying to do!" The primordial spoke as she lined up the dots. "I wish I was informed about it so I didn't have to destabilize the portal you were making."
"How are we supposed to that?" The god of the underworld asked, unsure if there were ways to inform the mother of creation. "It's not like there's a hotline that we can call to inform you right?"
"Well you should have told Percy your plan, and then he could've told me." The primordial replied nonchalantly.
"And why should we do that?" Percy's father asked. "It's not like you live in his place, right?"
"As a matter of fact sea god, I DO live on his place." Lady Chaos answered back. "Hera, Hestia, and Artemis knows that I live there."
"Percy!" Can we get an explanation on how Lady Chaos started to live on your place?" Zeus asked his nephew.
"Well she said that she felt a disturbance in my place and then she came to investigate it. She then found me an-" He was not able to finish his words as the goddess of the hearth clamped up his mouth, preventing him from speaking further.
"I'll finish it for him." The goddess said with a bright blush. "Lady Chaos found out that the fluctuation in power that she felt was because of the intense anger I felt last time when I was in Percy's place!" The gods and goddesses were surprised at this revelation. If angered enough, the goddess could rival even his brothers in power.
"Then why did you stay?" It was the question that came from Hephaestus.
"No reason." The primordial answered. "I just liked his place." The mother of creation then clapped her hands and divert the topic. "Well enough about that. I believe that Ollie right here wants to go home." With a snap of her finger, a portal that was the same size as the primordial arrived in, came into being.
"If you can do that, why not tell us you can?" Was the question of the gobsmacked Ollie.
"You never asked."
"Touché." The demigoddess replied. "I guess this is my cue." She then hugged every goddess present and thanked everyone. "Thank you for your hospitality guys! I'll see you around!" Before she left, she quickly ran to his counterpart and gave him a smooch on the lips. "Something to remember me by. See you next time Percy!" The girl said as she crossed the portal and was gone.
"Don't find it weird that she kissed him?" Hermes asked. "Doesn't that count as selfcest or something?"
"I don't know man, I don't know." Came the answer of the sun god.
And thus, the life in Olympus went back to normal.
What's up guys! Jasserru here bringing in another chapter like I promised to do so. Happy new year to all of you guys!
Chaos being nonchalant and trivial with what happened was the ending I had envisioned for Ollie. I guess I struggled more with what Ollie needs to do to start the ritual than the actual send off, as I didn't even have any ideas what I could make Ollie do. That's why I skipped it altogether and focused on the ritual and the ending.
Anyway, thanks for reading, Follow and Fave if you liked it! Leave a review if you have any words to say!
See you guys next year!
-Jasserru wishes everyone a happy new year.
