"How's my favorite dreamer and nightmare doing?" Freyja asked affectionately. She got a willing hug from Sharena, but Lekra backed away. "You're not going to hurt me, if that's what you're worried about."

"Even so…" They trailed off, shaking their head.

"Freyja, leave them be," Freyr said. "Remember we're all here for a reason."

Lekra seemed to take some kind of relief from it. "I was wondering when you'd tell her…"

"And I've been wondering what this is that I'm being told," Sharena remarked casually. "All I got was 'Freyr and Freyja will explain it.'"

Freyja smiled. "It's nothing bad, I promise. You'll probably find it to be very good news, in fact…"

"Being able to come to Ljósálfheimer isn't the only thing you gain from remembering," Freyr explained. "It does, to some extent, benefit you in the waking realm too… more specifically, Lekra and Iztali. Before, they sustained themselves by the energy you produced as a normal human, but of course that had its limits. Now, they're getting that along with pure dream energy. In simple terms, it allows them to do things more freely and they may even be able to perform tasks that they couldn't do before."

Sharena was curious now, prompting, "What kind of tasks..?"

"For one, Lekra should be able to manipulate objects now," Freyja replied. "They're not going to be good at it for a while, though. They'll need time to build up that strength like any mortal does."

"I've already been practicing while you're sleeping," Lekra admitted with a hint of excitement. Then with a sheepish chuckle they added, "I really want to be able to bring you breakfast on those days you sleep in…"

"Won't everyone else just see that stuff is floating, though..?" Sharena pointed out.

"Well, yes, but they already know I exist." They paused. "Besides, it can't be the oddest thing anyone in the Order has seen…"

She directed another question towards Freyr and Freyja again. "So does Iztali get anything?"

"We're not sure," Freyr sighed. "At this point, the only thing he can regain is his full form as a dream. We still haven't decided if such a thing is possible, or how we can go about fixing it… Until then, the only difference might be that he's a bit more energetic."

"You'll be the first to know when we find something," Freyja promised.

When she woke up, she got Lekra to show her what they talked about earlier. About an hour must've been spent giving them a bunch of odd requests out of fascination and amazement. Then noticing their hesitancy to touch a few of them and remembering what happened earlier, she asked, "Why are you so careful..?"

"I don't want you to see what happens when I screw up." They let out a shaky sigh. "Nightmares are capable of killing mortals by basically sucking out their energy while they're sleeping. What do you think a nightmare can do to kill an álfar, when they don't get their energy in the same way mortals do?"

She didn't say anything.

They picked up a loose piece of paper and showed her. What looked like only touching it ripped it instead. "We weren't created to be benevolent beings. Most solid things are fine, but then there's the more fragile ones… I didn't have to worry about it before because I knew I couldn't do it. Now it seems the only thing I can think of is what happens if I hurt you or one of your friends…"

"You're not going to hurt one of us."

"Don't make promises you don't even have the ability to keep."

"Well at least think about it this way: you're never that close to anyone anyway. I can't really imagine how it'll happen as long as you're not trying to touch people." She smiled. "Think of all of the good stuff you can do instead!"

They managed a weak smile. "I suppose I can try…"

"That's the spirit!"

((A/N: Lekra can now do the following: pick up things, help Sharena with work around the Order, get stuff from the other side of the room when she doesn't feel like getting up, get her breakfast in bed, put a blanket back on her when she tosses it off in the middle of the night, pelt annoying people with pebbles, and deflect anything heading towards Sharena from snowballs to arrows. Suffice to say she learns this and tells them to stand back whenever she has a snowball fight with the Heroes, and that's just about the only thing she does with the information for a while.))
