A premature birth

That night the cold hits the streets of a small town known as Godric's Hollow, a village far from the big, bustling cities in Britain. A layer of snow covers the roads and a storm begins because of the falling flakes. No one is on the streets because of the weather, except for a few lonely people covered in coats who are heading home. These people move forward at a rapid pace, looking from time to time at any corner of the street, fearing even their own shadow or anything that the lampposts do not illuminate.

It is dark times that reign now, filling citizens with fear and terror, attacks are becoming more frequent.

"Where did this man get into?" speaks a young woman leaning on a courtyard fence, protecting her body with a robe. "James, you said that you would just go to the meeting and go back." She sighs without taking her eyes off the street, as if her fiancé is about to appear.

She pulls a strand out of her fiery red hair before returning to the inside of her house.

A two-story house of cozy air and comfort rises in the middle of the courtyard. It is not very large, just enough for a small family or a newlywed couple. It's made of wood and stone, the patio is spacious but covered in snow at the time, accompanied by a doghouse and a table where she and James eat in summer.

She enters the house. The front door leads directly to the living room where a modest Christmas tree illuminates a corner by the fireplace. On the other side of the first floor is the kitchen and a table of four chairs, also a seat for babies.

"At least he managed to finish putting together one thing this year, at this rate you will be born, and half of the things are still to be finished," the woman sighs, touching lightly her growing belly. Only a month and a half missing now. "You've been very calm lately, my little one, not like your father who is a grown child."

She sighs and sits in one of the lounge chairs next to a golden retriever named Almond, who sleeps peacefully. Lily, the owner of the house, snorts resigned to the nonsense of her fiancé, James Potter.

James, a young man widely known as the best Chaser of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has ever had, lived for a long time as a Chaser for the Falmouth Falcons and did for some time plan to make a prank shop, which - in his own words - would surpass Zonko. The two have been a couple since the age of seventeen, at the end of their last school year. A relationship with ups and downs due to the womanizing nature of the young man. They only managed to have some stability two years ago, when he started to work as a professional Quidditch player.

Lily is very fond of James, although she sometimes feels that she is more like a babysitter to him and with the arrival of the war against the Dark Lord, James became unemployed by the cancellation of Quidditch. She keeps the finances of the house thanks to her work as a healer and some of the inheritance left to them by James' parents; but if they do not take care of it, their life will face problems.

"Today they will receive the results of the exams for Auror. If he passes the exam, he will enter the forces of the Aurors," Lily sighs when recalling the fight she had with James so that he would study. She put her hand on Almond, caressing her furry friend's head.

She pulls out of her robe a cherry wand; the wood is of a beautiful grayish white such with a detail on the handle in the form of petals of the cherry blossom. She shakes it slightly without uttering a single word.

From the kitchen flies a steaming cup of hot chocolate with a little cream on top. She holds her hand when it stands in front of her and savors the sweet drink when she takes a sip.

"I thought that now that he will be a father he would straighten up, don't you think, Almond?"

The 1 year-old dog looks at its owner while wagging her tail with joy. Lily remembers how James devised a way to ask her to marry, bought Almond on Valentine's Day and tied the ring to the ribbon but instead of running towards her, the puppy escaped when the front door was open.

Lily remembers with a smile the mess it was to recapture her. She looks at the ring on her right hand, a band of gold and ruby, where this diamond is held by the black antlers of a deer while the head is golden.

"The ironies of life. The Potter shield is a giant deer from the high mountains and his Animagus form is a deer. I wonder if you look like him," she caresses her belly with a small smile, as she imagines what the baby will be like.

The baby has been one of the few reasons why they have been engaged. People have remained hidden and even pregnancies have reduced by the time, even though most do not leave their homes. Having a child in times of war is not the best idea.

James decided to try out in the special forces of the Aurors, since one of his greatest gifts is transformation and offensive magic. He even received a recommendation from his defense against the Dark Arts professor. In these times, the Auror profession is one of the most important against the followers of the Dark Lord, the Death Eaters.

"I hope the meeting with Dumbledore doesn't have any setbacks," she exclaims worry.

She begins to check the papers resting on the coffee table.

Most are parchments of her colleagues in the St. Mungo Hospital. She worked as a Healer, but took a break when she reached six months of pregnancy to avoid the risks. Twenty years old, she gained a good reputation among her colleagues even though she is an emergency room resident. Lily hopes she can return to school when her child is older, so she can do her specialty.

"They're asking about you," Lily laughs a little as she reads her peers' inconvenient questions about her pregnancy. "Although I don't know what to tell them anymore," she looks preoccupied at her belly again, waiting for a kick or even a slight movement.

For weeks the baby began to move less and less frequently, even though healers try to calm their nerves without giving it importance.

"At least I've already made an appointment with a gynecologist. I know James isn't interested in Muggle medicine, but in cases like these I prefer to seek a second opinion."

Almond lifts her gaze and wags her tail, animated.

Lily's green eyes are fixed on the door and then on the window, where she sees some figures approaching the street. She tenses when they approach the fence of the garden but breathes with relief when the protections of the house allows him to enter without putting up resistance.

Lily sighs when she hears James' dragged and drunk voices, accompanied by Sirius's. She gets up from the chair and walks to the door.

"James Charles Potter! Do you have any idea what the time is?" exclaims Lily, opening the door and holding Almond by her necklace with her other hand.

"Shut up, woman! They finally gave us the results of the Auror exams, and you just complain!" James swings down the road that leads to the entrance, it doesn't help that both arms are round Peter and Sirius's shoulders.

James' dark brown hair is messier than usual and also sticky. The Auror's apprentice robe is upside down, dirty, and the crooked frameless round lenses over your straight nose.

Lily notices that Sirius and Peter aren't much better off than he is.

"By Hecate! James, you had an appointment with Dumbledore at 9 p.m. and you reek of cheap malt whiskey!" Lily loses her grip on Almond when she plugs her nose.

The puppy jumps on its owner, causing the three of them to fall with their backs to the ground, licking his face so fast that it's impossible for James to answer.

"Quiet Lily. We went to the meeting with Dumbledore - luckily before they decided to go and celebrate at the bar," Remus says when he arrives at the entrance of the garden. He seems to be the only sober member of the group. "They received the results of their certification exams and passed with honors; they are celebrating."

Lily puts her arms directly on her hip, squeezing her lips.

"These are not times for going out like this. I am really happy for them, but it is not drinking until you fall, and you know it, Remus."

The two look at the group of drunks who have barely managed to get up from the ground, now they try to climb the steps that lead to the front terrace, while singing without any rhythm.

"James, stop that nonsense. You will wake up the neighbors," Lily calls Almond by her side, who obeys at once. She approaches James to try to help him, but a twinge in his lower back stops her.

Almond whines looking at her owner, throwing her ears back. Lily strokes the dog on the head, smiling to calm her down.

Remus helps his three companions get into the house. They don't even get to the living room when Peter, a small and chubby man, drops to the ground after releasing a moan.

"There are times when I wonder how I end up with friends like them," Remus shakes his head half laughing, helping Sirius and James drop on the couch. "Sirius and James do have stamina. It's impressive."

Remus looks at Lily who is hunching a little towards the ground still in discomfort.

"Lily, are you okay?" He approaches her to help her get to the kitchen table and sit her down.

"I think so, it's just a little bit of pain in my lower back," she tries to reassure her friend. "It's the nerves, there's very little time left and James…" Lily sighs in frustration, clutching her hair.

"It's normal, Lily. He's going to be a father even though he's young. He's doing his best to stay sane with everything that happens." Remus smiles sympathetically as he brings the cup of tea to her. "We already talked to Dumbledore. He wants us to participate in the Order of the Phoenix, he thought you could too but given your condition… I don't think so."

Lily takes a sip of the jasmine tea.

"That is good, but I can't always justify it. I'm worried about how much alcohol he drinks lately."

"Don't worry, I'll take care of that," Remus smiles and touches Lily's belly. "What name will you give the baby?"

"I prefer not to know the gender of the baby; I want it to be a surprise. James and I managed to make a list, but you know what he's like, following his family's traditions with the big names in the wizarding world." Lily takes a deep breath and leaves the cup on the table. "He wants to call the baby Harrison, Charles, or Harry if it's a boy; but if it's a girl he would like Anabelle, Rose, or Elizabeth." She rolls her eyes.

Remus laughs as she goes for a cup of coffee for himself.

"That is our Prongs, seeking to follow the example of their parents and honor them. From your reaction I would say that you don't have the same opinion as him."

"You already know me, Moony. I always like to look for names with special meaning. I have several options from other countries or cultures."

"Well, tell me some."

"I like Ares, Vito, and Xanxus a lot, they are from nearby countries, and for a girl I like Alysa, Calista, or Diana."

"I don't think they will be the only ones you have thought of. You have always dreamed of traveling to the East."

"For boys I have Arashi, Shiro, or Daiki and for girls I have Hikari, Jin, or Nomi. But James does not like those names. He says they are ridiculous, and he would be the target of ridicule," Lily waves her arms frustrated. Her fiancé can sometimes be closed-minded, always limited to his comfort zone, he doesn't want to leave the security. "I wanted to visit magical Japan for my honeymoon, but James says he'll be very busy being Auror."

"Don't be discouraged yet, we will find a way to convince him."

"He is a hard head, he is always adept and adventurous, now with this war he is more interested in combat or helping the right good." She drinks some tea again, taking a deep breath, James increasingly sees it as a basket case. "He got out of one side and got into another, at least he will start a good job as an Auror, instead of being in limbo as a professional Chaser."

"You know that Prongs love Quidditch, but as you say it's not the best time. The dangers are constant with this war." Remus drinks some tea from his cup, again noticing Almond distraught and whimpering sitting next to Lily. "Maybe you should wait before you go on your honeymoon." Petting the animal in an attempt to calm it down. "Maybe it's not the time."

"Can I be honest with you, Remus?" she speaks a little uneasy, caressing her belly. "I'm doubting if the UK is the best place to raise the baby Think Moony; with this constant war and the terror of not being able to leave the house. Is that life?"

"No, of course not. You're right about that. Maybe we should talk to James to get you out of here at least," he speaks with a pensive air trying to think about which of the countries affiliated to the International Confederation of Magicians. "Maybe with the Americans you have a chance, MACUSA has its doors open to those who ask for political asylum."

"I know, I've been researching that since I found out about this pregnancy." Lily finishes her drink. "The Holy Magic Empire of Japan and the United Magical Congress of Australia also have their doors open." Lily gets up from the chair by approaching a small bookcase by the fireplace with a good variety of books. "I started looking for a little bit of information about other magical rulers since I left my residence in the hospital. I need to prepare for any eventuality." She searches through the books pulling out some thin ones.

"And haven't you preferred to organize your wedding?" Remus laughs at her friend's attitude, assuming that being a young mother, priorities change.

Lily's more audible moan this time puts Remus on alert, who looks at her again hunching forward.

"Lily!" He runs to her in an attempt to help her, but the woman shrinks again from the pain. Remus perceives the smell of blood, thanks to the fact of being a werewolf his sense of smell is much stronger than a regular human . "Why does it smell like blood?" He looks down to see a pool of blood at the redhead's feet and running down the woman's legs. "Oh, fuck! You are bleeding! I must call Madame Pomfrey or wake up James or use the Flu!" Remus starts to panic.

"Don't just stay there! Call St. Mungo and Healer Eijin Kanou!" Lily orders as Remus begins to hyperventilate, running in the kitchen like a headless chicken. "Remus Lupin! The one having a panic attack should be me!"

"Yes. Of course. The Healer." Remus has a moment of calm before running to the fireplace, kicking Peter inadvertently and throwing some green powders into the flames, when the flames turn emerald before he sticks his head in them and disappears to his shoulders.

Lily curses again when a new twinge in her low back hits her again. She feels weakness and a cold feeling in her body. Her vision is getting blurry, and her legs are about to give way; but what worries her the most is the state of the baby, it is too early to be born. She walks as best she can until she reaches James and starts shaking him.

"James! Wake up!" Lily's voice sounds fragile, but her fiancé doesn't wake up.

Lily loses strength, falling to the ground. She's no longer able to see clearly. She only sees blurred shadows.

"Mrs. Evans, calm down, we are here to help you," someone else's voice makes her try to see in their direction, but it is impossible for her.

A couple of nurses begin to help her, putting her on a stretcher while checking her vital signs with their own wands.

"We have to take her to the hospital, we will need to take the baby out," a nurse says, after touching Lily's belly with her hand, looking for the baby, "The child has begun to descend, but it seems that it got stuck."

"Can't you check that with magic? The baby is still a little over a month away from birth," Remus says, a little alarmed to see how they approach the fireplace again. "Wait, isn't it dangerous to go through the Flu network in that condition?"

"Because of her condition, magic can collide with the magic of the unborn and can worsen the condition," the other nurse says as he pulls out of his pocket a leather bag barely the size of his hand. "They sent us some more specific powders from Japan, especially for cases like these where time is crucial."

The man throws the powders into the fire.

The flames turn blue and begin to rotate towards the center, beginning to form a ring of fire that expands and shows a new image of an emergency room. The two nurses cross the portal to St. Mungo, where another medical group is waiting, including a Healer of Oriental features.

"Take Mrs. Evans straight to the operating room, prepare her for surgery!" Eijin walks fast next to the stretcher. "Don't worry, everything will be fine. She's in good hands."

Remus begins to follow them, but another healer stops him.

"Are you the father?"

"No, I'm friends with both parents, but he's at home, huh... indisposed." Remus gets a little uncomfortable.

"You can wait in the waiting room if you want or go for the father," the woman has a serious and cold expression, looking at the man sternly. "But I do not want any scandals."

Remus sits on one of the waiting room benches in the maternity wing. It feels strange since the baby is not his and there are three other people. He tries to swallow the lump in his throat before putting his scarf on better, hiding the bite mark that a werewolf gave him. These can not procreate with wizards or witches since it was prohibited by the Ministry of Magic. Although the baby is not his, he doesn't want to cause any more problems.

Remus has been in the room for at least an hour, not knowing anything about what has happened. When she was taken in, he did send a

to Dumbledore or one of the Order of the Phoenix that he remembers in his first meeting with them; but no one has arrived yet, probably in some raid against the Death Eaters.

"Mr. Lupin?" Eijin approaches him, while taking off his robe full of blood.

"How is Lily?" Remus looks at the Healer before getting up from the chair.

"Mrs. Evans is stable but has lost a lot of blood. We have had to use several

potions to recover the blood lost from the hemorrhage. The placenta and the umbilical cord were detached from the uterus, perhaps some kind of accidental magic destroyed the inside, so the results are somewhat inconclusive," Eijin reads the reports from a folder while speaking. "I will send the information to a colleague of mine in Tokyo. In the meanwhile you can help us solve what happened."

"But has Lily woken up yet? And the baby?"

"Mrs. Evans, we have her sedated, so it will take a while for her to wake up. The baby is a boy. If you want to follow me, I can show you. But where is Mr. Potter?"

"He's drunk as a lord back home. I don't think he'll wake up in a couple of hours," Remus growls, annoyed by his friend's carelessness, as he should be here.

Eijin snorts, rolling his eyes.

"Well, follow me then. We have the child in a special and sterilized room doing some exams, because he was born premature, we are worried about his weight and size. He is somewhat smaller than usual to be a baby who was born at eight months." Eijin takes him down the corridor on the right.

The entire corridor is full of children's drawings on its white walls, paper butterflies or toy planes crossing the sky with small packages or messages. A quiet music fills the corridors although they are barely heard by the screams and curses of the women in the rooms, giving birth. They pass in front of a glass where newborn babies sleep, or in some cases cry until they are cared for by nurses, inside beds hanging from the ceiling in blue or pink baskets.

Remus can't help but stare at the cribs, imagining for a moment that one of them will be his own one day, but he knows that this is simply a dream that is not going to be fulfilled. Who in their right mind would want a werewolf?

"Mr. Lupin, over here please." Eijin waits patiently.

Remus stops looking at the cribs and follows him until they reach a new and closed room. This one is small with very dim lights. There are several things to circulate with golden strings that reach a bed in the form of a transparent egg. Remus approaches and finds the smallest baby he has ever seen.

The child looks like nothing more than a tiny weird doll: Arms and legs so thin that they do not reach even the thickness of an adult finger, the diaper was even larger than him. The golden strings are connected to him by the arms, keeping a constant in his vital signs and nourishing him.

"By Merlin's beard, that's a baby?" Remus had become pale. The little guy just barely has some similarity to his father. Even the hair is a white color more intense than the walls themselves.

"Yes, Mr. Lupin. The child is a true fighter. He breathes on his own, which means that his lungs are working, and his heart rate is stable. We continue to evaluate him to make sure he doesn't have complications," Eijin sighs looking resentfully at the machines. "You are so backward, you magical Englishmen," he mutters to himself as he writes down what he sees in the magical spheres.

Remus hears him perfectly well. He knows that the healer is from one of the Asian countries, but he does not comment on anything. Each person has his own opinion of their magical side.

"Do you know the name Mrs. Evans wanted to give the child?"

Remus remembered Lily's favorites, he does not intend to please James, since the idiot is still asleep like a dead man from drunkenness.

"Arashi Shiro, they are the ones she liked the most." Remus responds by getting closer to the crib. "Can I touch him?"

"Wash your hands first." Eijin pulls out his wand and taps Remus's hands silently, conjuring a spell silently. "Now, you can only touch him very gently with a finger. We will not take him out of the incubator before we are sure of his state of health." Typing in the registration information the name Arashi and middle name Shiro. "White storm, quite suitable for the day it was born," he laughs, also noting today, December 5.

"Does his name mean that?" Remus puts his hands in carefully, gently stroking the baby's tiny hand. He can barely feel the boy's hand, since it's so small and fragile. He does not want to hurt the little one.. "Maybe I should change the second name, even though Japanese names sound weird."

"As you want, although I would leave Arashi, it's a strong name and maybe in the future that will represent him." Eijin shrugs his shoulders.

"'You are right, the name was chosen by his mother, and we will leave it at that." Remus smiles but gets pale when Arashi looks at him, he would swear to have seen the blood-colored eyes but the white part is black like the darkness of the night. When he blinks, the child's eyes are emerald like his mother's, even more intense. "Hello little guy, welcome to the world. Why does he have hair in that color? None of his parents have it like that."

"Probably an effect of his premature birth, he must lack enough melanin for his hair to have color, if you notice the skin of him is pale too."

Remus nods, stroking the child's hand, he is so small and fragile.

"I will leave you with the child, Mr. Lupin. If you need assistance, just send a Patronus."

"Thank you, Healer Kanou," Remus says without taking his eyes off Arashi. He can't help but smile when the baby manages to pull his finger to put it in its mouth, sucking it. "The healer is right, you are a fighter. You will be your parents' pride."

The sun already rises through the mountains that surround the Godric's Hollow when Remus arrives again at the house of James and Lily. He had to travel through Apparition outside the town, to avoid the protections of the house although he is connected to them. He feels exhausted, in need of a hot bath and new clothes, after a night in which he could sleep only a couple of hours next to the incubator. He would have remained there if it had not been for the head nurse who threw him out of the room, demanding that he take a bath or she was going to give it to him herself.

The nurse's words reminded him of the same Hogwarts nurse, Madame Pomfrey. Both are equally terrifying.

"It must be a requirement to be a tough nut to crack to be a head nurse," Remus shakes off the chill running down his back, he opens the door and enters the living room.

He finds Peter still sleeping on the floor. This no longer seems strange to him, he usually does not wake up until noon.

"I feel like my head is going to burst, Prongs, where do you have the tea?" Remus can see Sirius making a mess in the kitchen while searching for things, causing him to drop several cups.

"How should I know? This woman only has one mess in the whole house. Where on earth could she be? Lily!"

"Stop screaming, James. They can hear all the way down the street. And stop making a mess of your own house," Remus tiredly complains while going into the kitchen.

"Moony! There you are, you look worse than us and you went to your house." James greets Remus holding his head.

"I didn't go to my house, James, but to St. Mungo. Go for a potion that will take away your hangover. You will take a bath to go meet your son."

"It's too early to get out, Moony, and besides," James babbles, still half-sleepy, before his slow brain finally manages to process what his friend has just told him. "Wait! What did you say!?" he shouts, getting up suddenly. The hangover has suddenly disappeared.

"Lily had to go to St. Mungo in an emergency. She started bleeding last night. She lost a lot of blood and the Healers had to take the baby out. The child was born last night!" Remus sighs in exasperation.

Sirius begins to laugh and congratulate James who seems still paralyze from the news, but Remus notices that his friend's body language is nervous and can almost tell at the start level of panic. Remus is not sure how to interpret that reaction, he knows that his friend is young, with dreams that he had to leave behind because of the war.

"Hey, Father of the Year! Let's go upstairs. We have to wash and then leave!" Sirius urges, patting the brown-haired person on the back.

"Y-yes, let's go," James stutters before going up to the second floor.

"See you in St. Mungo in about twenty minutes!" Sirius tells James and taps his cheeks to get away with him, as he leaves the house with Remus. "Well, Moony, tell me! How is the little fawn?"

"Worryingly, he was born premature. I think he barely reached a kilo and three hundred. The little baby was so small." Remus sighs watching his friend be as pale as paper. "He's barely bigger than my hand, even though the doctor says he's a survivor."

"He will take after James. Surely, the little fawn will be flying on a broom before he turns one," Sirius exclaims with joy, almost dancing in the middle of the street, although he ends up slipping on the frozen pavement. "Shit, that hurt!"

"Leave the nonsense, Padfoot, we have to go to the apartment." The two share the rent of an apartment, since Remus is cheaper, the only problem is Sirius's date nights. "The boy looks somewhat like James, yes."

"As long as he doesn't inherit the bad vision that all Potter males have, or we'll have another four eyes." Sirius does not stop laughing but almost falls to the ground when Remus hits him behind his head. "If Lily hears you say that about her son, she will kill you." Remus rolls his eyes. "At least he inherited Lily's green eyes."

"Oh! And the hair. Does he have the red hair of Lily or the dark brown hair of James?"

"Neither. The child's hair is white."

"White, white or, like, platinum blonde like Malfoy's hair?"

"White as snow itself. I was taken by surprise when I saw the boy."

Sirius seems conflicted, it is impossible for him to imagine a Potter with white hair. He could only think of Lucius Malfoy, one of the nemeses of the Marauders, and whom Sirius hates more than anything. He knows that Malfoy is marrying one of his cousins, Narcissa, and he is disgusted just to know that he is related to a Malfoy, even if very distantly.

"See you later, Padfoot." Remus uses the Apparition and disappears from the main street.

Lily wakes up slowly, blinking at the intense light in the room, trying to find herself and remember where she is.

"Mrs. Evans, I see that at last you wake up," Eijin's voice reaches her ears, and she looks towards the door, watching the Healer approach. "Let's see how you are doing." The man begins to do a general examination of Lily.

"What happened to me?" Lily feels her mind diffuse and revolted, she will have to meditate again to organize her mental palace. "I remember bleeding, a lot of blood in my house," she clutches her head.

"Well, that's correct, Mrs. Evans, you were about to die from a massive hemorrhage. We had to use several blood replenishing potions to keep you alive."

That's when Lily remembers the reason for all the blood and rush.

"My child! Where is my baby?" demands Lily almost hysterically, looking frantically around while touching her now flat belly. Thanks to magic there is very little trace of the bump that was there earlier.

"Calm down, Mrs. Evans, your son is alive. We will bring him to you in a moment. I'm afraid that because he was born premature, he is a bit shocking to see. He is quite small for the gestation time you were carrying."

"Will he have serious problems?"

"I must admit, Mrs. Evans, that the child has surprised everyone by his good health. He has no trouble breathing, his heart beats regularly and strongly for his size, he begins to gain strength and has cried hard." Eijin looks at his notes with concern.

"By your face, Healer Eijin, something tells me that you do not share the same joys as your colleagues."

"I'm worried that he's not fully absorbing the nutrients we've been giving him. It might be that he can't digest certain things, but the potion masters here don't have the same opinion."

"How are you so sure?"

"I have seen a couple of similar cases in my native country. The child will need some specific potions and infusions, but it will not be easy to harvest all the needed ingredients."

Lily looks at the void for a moment, remembering the one who was once her best friend for a long time, but they broke up out of stupidity.

"Give me a list of the ingredients. I have someone who can help me. I don't mind crossing boundaries to help my son."

Eijin smiles. Mothers have their own ways of protecting their children and will fight hard to save them - even to the point of breaking society's moral standards. Few can achieve a victory because even though they might not care about anything or break the rules, the society does care.

"Can I see my baby now?"

Eijin nods and leaves the room. The minutes seem eternal for Lily when a nurse walks in carrying a bundle of blue blankets in her arms.

Lily's eyes glaze and a soft smile appears on her face, butterflies flutter in her stomach, and a feeling of fullness fills her soul as the nurse puts her son in her arms. She smiles at the baby tenderly, feeling a pure and sincere love for the child, who returned the same emerald look she has.

"Your son is a fighter, Lily. From the first hour he was born, covered in blood and amniotic fluid, he has shown that he wants to live." The nurse smiles. She cannot help it. Just like her, other nurses had fallen in love with the little guy, a boy so sweet and quiet that he only watched them while they did their job.

"Thank you, Agnes," Lily smiles at the young nurse she was working with, although her smile was erased remembering that her son still has no name, surely James has already put one of his favorites. "Excuse me, Agnes, what name did James give the baby? I can't call him a baby or a child forever."

"James still hasn't arrived, Lily. Mr. Lupin went to find him and clean himself. It was he who gave it the name. He called the boy Arashi Shiro Evans. What stranger names they choose now. You should change it before contacting The Magic Ministry to register him."

"The name fits him perfectly, Agnes."

Arashi begins to move restlessly before starting to cry at the top of his lungs.

"Hey, calm down Arashi, shh shh, it's okay," Lily tries to reassure her son.

"He must be hungry, Lily. You have to feed him," Agnes says. "Come. Let me help you get him to latch on."

Agnes helps Lily put Arashi to the breast so he can suck. Lily follows the instruction after she opens her robe. The feeling of the small hands and the tiny nose searching is curious - almost tickling - because it is not the same as when James does it during his games. Arashi suddenly squeezes his mother's nipple hard as he sucks. Lily gasps. She did not expect the piercing pain, but continues holding the little boy to her breast. He needs to eat and get stronger.

"Here we arrive with the father of the year!" Shouts Sirius entering the room with magic balloons, brooms, dragons, winged horses, and even a phoenix began to fly throughout the room, creating chaos with streamers and colors.

Arashi detaches from the breast, bursting into tears again from the noise, coughing up breast milk.

Lily at once picks him up, so he doesn't drown.

"Sirius Black!" scolds Lily looking at Sirius and calming the baby again.

"Mr. Black! I ordered you to behave, this is not a circus!" shouts the head nurse, grabbing the young man by the ear as if he was a small child.

"Ouch! But how are we otherwise going to celebrate the birth of my best friend's son?"

"In the hospital it's done by being silent and behaving with decency!" Agnes hisses at Sirius.

Remus entered followed by an uncomfortable James, almost shyly carrying a golden lion stuffed animal with red mane.

"I promise you he's going to behave, head nurse, don't worry," Remus says in an attempt to reassure the woman.

The head nurse looks at him critically, examining his appearance.

"All right, but if it happens again, Mr. Lupin, the visits are over. Is that clear, Mr. Black?"

Sirius vigorously stalks the terrifying woman, hiding behind Moony until the head nurse leaves the room with Agnes to give them privacy.

"James come over; don't you want to meet your son?" Lily smiles at James, encouraging her fiancé to approach her. "Arashi doesn't bite."

James grimaces upon hearing the name, it sounds disgusting and too weird for his taste.

"The name doesn't sound so bad, Prongs. It's one of Lily's favorite names, plus it's perfect." Remus calms James by placing a hand on his shoulder, for some reason he feels that James is acting weird or strange. Maybe the reality of becoming a father finally hits him and he tries to handle it in his own way.

"Come on, Prongs, you already heard Moony," Sirius gives James on the back towards Lily's bed.

She pulls the blankets away from Arashi, who nurses again after Agnes helped clean him, to show James and Sirius.

"Isn't he beautiful? The Healer says he's getting better. He'll still need some time here in the incubator, maybe a few weeks."

"What the hell is that!?" James asks loudly with a horrific expression, which leaves Lily, Sirius and Remus surprised.

"What are you saying? It's your son!" Lily exclaims, confused, instinctively protecting Arashi.

"That's not a child! It wouldn't even pass as a doll. That thing wouldn't make it past the year!" James harshly yells. His face is twisted and he's sneering, making him look almost like a rabid dog.

"Come on James, what are you talking about? He was only born prematurely," Remus looks incredulously at his friend. He doesn't understand anything about his reaction.

"Come on, Prongs, he will recover, he is just a sick child for now. Magic will make him normal," Sirius begins to reassure James but doesn't seem to help him much.

"Do you believe that too, Sirius?" Remus growls and his eyes turn yellow like a wolf.

"Of course not, Moony! But you have to admit that it looks, well, weird. Who has white hair? Not even Malfoy…." Sirius suddenly screams when a curse stinging wasp hits his body. "Fuck! Lily, that's not necessary!"

"You're talking about my son, Black! My son is not weird or an abomination!"

"For that's what this is!" James exclaims furiously, casting curses on Lily, "That thing is nothing but an abomination!"

"It's your son and your blood, James Potter!"

"Then the blood that is wrong is yours! Maybe after all they are right with your dirty blood!"

Lily slaps him so hard that he falls to the ground, tears threatening to come out of her eyes full of anger and pain.

The head nurse bursts in, smok steaming through her ears, noticing that Lily starts crying. Behind her another nurse follows her.

"The visits are over! Patients cannot have stress! Security!"

The nurses help Lily, who does not stop crying, holding her son close to her body, and return her to the bed.

"Lily, I'll talk to him, don't worry," Remus tries to reassure her as he is taken out of the room by three huge men, who are at least a head taller than any of the friends.

Lily, still crying, does not respond to him. She can not believe that that man, whom she had believed to be a good man - whom she loves! - would ever use those words! Those words, so painful and scornful, which she had always heard at Hogwarts. Not only from the Slytherin House, but from every House. People always blame the Slytherins for their history.

"Mrs. Evans, I will give you a

so you can sleep." The head nurse grabs Arashi to reassure him and prevent him from drowning again while coughing up breast milk. "We will put the child in the incubator, so that the room will be more quiet for you."

Lily just nods and drinks from the potion almost at once.

o-o-0-o-o

The days for Lily became long and tedious in St. Mungo, with practically no visit, safe for a couple of times from Remus before he disappeared. But she understands her friend's reason: The Dark Lord has begun to chase werewolves. Being one he has been forced into hiding, under the protections of Dumbledore.

James doesn't come to visit her at all. Not even as much as an owl letter from him. He keeps declaring that the child is an abomination, rejecting any paternity. Sirius sends her a greeting from time to time but with his new job, he can barely achieve anything. He has told her that James has been under a lot of stress, that he would return himself, that she should only give him time. But being honest with herself, Lily does not believe him. It seems like the man hides something from her.

But what infuriates Lily the most is that it was Dumbledore, a man whom she has learned to respect and honor, who told her that the best thing for her son is to die! He even suggested some illegal potions for that, saying that a child in this state would only suffer. Albus Dumbledore, the leader of the Light Faction, suggesting killing a helpless child!

"I can't believe it, that there are people like that," Lily mutters as she finishes dressing in pants and a turtleneck shirt. "It's Christmas morning and we will finally leave this place, Arashi." She smiles at her son, who sleeps inside a baby car seat, which a Muggle born nurse got her.

Arashi managed to gain some weight and size, thanks to the potions that healer Eijin got her, although Lily is only having enough for another week. The problem is that the child does not digest breast milk well, after a while he vomits part of what he had already ingested, he only manages to keep them in the body thanks to potions.

"Don't worry, honey, we'll only go back to your dad's house for a few things. He's just being an idiot," Lily sighs and dries her tears again, she doesn't want to go back to James, but at this moment she has nowhere else to go.

Her parents both died in the Death Eaters' first attacks on the Muggle world and her sister, Petunia, hates her.

Lily picks up her son and leaves the hospital, thanking those who cared for her and the fellow residents who had come to see them. Luckily the Healer Eijin provided her with a bag of blue Flu powders to travel with Arashi, since the Apparition and the Port Key are not recommended for children under 5 years old.

Lily throws the blue Flu powders into the fireplace, waiting nervously until the portal forms from the fire, making its way straight into her living room. The stench of alcohol hits her nose, the room is a mess with the furniture and tables overturned, clothes thrown everywhere and liquor stains on the carpet.

"Fuck, what happened here?" Lily looks on in horror at the state of her house. Almost at once Almond rushes up to her. Her fur is sticky and dirty. It doesn't look like she's been taken care of in weeks.

"By Hecate! Almond, how did you end up like this?" Lily caresses the dog, preventing her from making it headlong into the baby car seat. "Quiet, Almond, but look! It's your new little brother," she laughs, going up to the table with Arashi. "Sit down."

The Golden Retriever sits obediently, watching her owner pull out the wand and point it at her. Lily conjures a spell by simply gently moving her wand, a stream of bubbles and soapy water touches the dog's fur, cleaning it practically instantly.

"Much better, right?" Lily smiles when Almond responds by barking, she seems happier now. "Now. Please stay calm, okay?"

Lily pulls Arashi out of the seat, uses a simple blue overall, hoping she could change it for something warmer. She crouches down a little so that the dog and the child can get to know each other.

Arashi opens his eyes, blinks and finds the dog's face right in front of him, starting to laugh when Almond starts licking him.

"Almond, calm down. You can't eat Arashi," she laughs and gets up from the ground. "We'd better start looking…" she starts, but agitated voices and the grinding of a bed on the top floor catches her attention. "What's going on?"

Lily leaves Arashi with Almond, while she climbs the stairs. She can already hear the voice of a woman and James, going with the grinding of the bed. Lily's face turns pale as she approaches the room at the end of the hallway. The door is open and she can see several women, three in total, touching each other. But what hurts her most is to see James on top of one of them, all four of them naked. Lily is able to recognize all three women: Selma Bullstrode, Irma Avery, and Camile Beaufort. The first two had been in Slytherin House during their school years, while the third one had been an exchange student.

Lily struggles with the rage and pain she feels. Not only has he rejected his own son but now he is also degrading and hurting her, having sex in her bed and in her home while she takes care of their newborn son. She looks tearfully at the engagement ring that James gave her. She wants to burn that thing until it evaporates; but she cannot afford it if she destroys it completely. Her savings are mostly from the inheritance of her parents' and from her job as a Healer in St. Mungo.

She tears the ring off her finger and throws it on the floor, almost hiding in the carpet. She walks to a second room. In there she finds an unfinished room of what would have been Arashi's. A half-assembled crib, toys still in halfopen boxes, baby clothes scattered on the floor, with some even burned. She grits her teeth as she walks out the door, picking up a small backpack she always uses instead of a purse, taps the wand with her conjuring several spells, two of which are: bottomless and light weight. She goes back to the room and starts putting things in, at least it's the ones that are intact.

After a few minutes, Lily finishes and begins to descend the stairs. She does not like the idea, but she looks in the secret places of the house, where she has kept money which James sometimes has left her for expenses on the house. She even takes James' bag of galleons.

"After everything, he does this! We will leave this hell once and for all."

Lily covers herself with the only robe she left on a hanger in front of the door, all her clothes were in the main room.

"Let's go, Almond, we have nothing left here," he holds the dog on her leash and picks up Arashi, leaving the house, starting to walk through the streets of the village, not knowing where to go. She is literally on the street now. "It can't get worse this Christmas," she sighs as she stops in front of the church and cemetery. "I have nothing to keep here," she sighs again and raises her wand in the air.

A rumble bursts into the tranquility of the village. In front of it appears the Knight Bus, a two-story vehicle of violet color.

A young man dressed in clothes too big for him gets out of the bus.

"The Knight Bus at your service, my lady, where do you want to go?"

Lily's mind goes blank for a moment. She is not sure where exactly to go. She must look weird with a baby and a dog.

"Do you want us to take you somewhere?" Stan, the bus boy, asks again, a bit more insisting on an answer.

"I want to go to Spinner's End." Lily remembered the place where she lived as a child, remembering her childhood friend. Maybe she can talk to him and maybe - just maybe - he is willing to help her despite everything.

Stan looks at Almond and the baby seat.

"A Spinner's End then. Let me help you." Stan grabs Almond's strap and climbs up with her, taking her to one of the back beds, since there are no seats in this bus.

Lily at once regrets this. She is not sure how to prevent Arashi from hurting himself.

"Don't worry," Stan says as he hits the wall. The ground floor at once glows. When the glow disappears, the beds are bolted to the floor. "We don't want the little one to hurt himself, don't you think? It's 22 sickles and 5 knots."

"Thank you very much, Stan." Lily pays Stan and approaches the bed to which Almond is tied, leaving the baby chair on one of the beds.

"You heard it already, Ernie. Start this pot, time is money!"

Ernie, an elderly driver behind the wheel, starts the engine and goes out into the open field of the valley.

Lily looks at the landscape for a while but it's impossible to distinguish anything because of the high speed they're going at. She looks at Almond again. Her fur attracts a lot of attention, more so in times like these. Sighing, she pulls Arashi out of the chair and puts him on the bed, starting with a plan.

The first thing he does is change Arashi's clothes, putting him in a set of black clothes with violet and red, although the tone is darker almost like blood or wine. She then puts a woolen hat on him to hide his white hair.

Arashi smiles at her as if trying to calm her down.

"Everything will be fine, honey." Lily puts the chair in the bag after shrinking it and turns to see Almond. "You are next."

The bus brakes in a suburban area, where the houses are all the same: Made of dark bricks and triangular roofs. A dirty river passes near the area until it reaches an abandoned factory.

Lily descends from the bus. She can feel the humid environment. Everything is covered with black clouds threatening rain. She quickly pulls up the hood of her robe, covering Arashi underneath it as well.

"Are you sure you want to be here?" Stan asks as he gives her the strap of Almond, who now sports a black coat. "It looks abandoned."

"Don't worry, I know someone here."

She begins to walk down the street between the alleys until she hears the vehicle disappear.

"Even they know that staying in an area like this is calling for danger."

She stops between two houses. Despite the weather there are people covered like her, it is difficult to know who is a friend and who is an enemy. She takes out of her backpack a leather mask that looks like a small gas mask, only covering the lower half of her face. She squeezes the straps on her head and neck to hold her using the wand.

"From something you learn from the Death Eaters, it covers your identity." She puts the hood back on her head.

She walks among the streets, keeping silent, even Almond stays calm and silent. Lily keeps her son under the cloak of the robe. Luckily Arashi sleeps against her chest, in the end she releases the dog's leash to be able to hold him better when he goes out to one of the main streets.

Despite the gloomy weather, there are some people, groups of six to seven people also covered in black clothes, some wearing metal or bone masks covering their faces. One group in particular looked at her cautiously, making her feel like prey under the watchful eye of a predator; Lily just continued down the street without looking at them. Luckily the new appearance of the dog makes her look intimidating, since she is larger than normal for her breed.

Lily is grateful that nobody approaches her. They just let her go her way. Fighting in a duel with a baby would have been very difficult. She stops at one of the houses, at first glance she has nothing extraordinary that differentiates her from the others, but she knows the owner and the magical protections that surround the house. Somewhat nervous and holding Arashi closer to her chest, she pierces the garden door and half of the courtyard when the door partially opens, showing a short, plump young man with slightly long front teeth.

Lily frowns as she recognizes the aberrant figure of Peter Petigrew holding the door.

"What are you doing here? No visitors of any kind are allowed," Peter says, almost spitting out his words, though he only stutters.

"That's none of your business, rat," Lily sneers, trying to sound intimidating. She knows well the nature of the magic of the homeowner, specifically his affiliations. "Get out of my way."

"Said by someone who does not carry a wand outside."

"Wormtail, let her in" says a male voice from the inside.

"But we don't know who she is," Wormtail looks inside the house.

"If she was able to enter the courtyard, without being expelled by the protections, then she has gotten permission from me or the Dark Lord."

"But..."

"Incompetent rat… The Dark Lord gave you a mission and it is not to stay here as a useless sloth in my house!"

Before Peter can answer, a red lightning bolt hits his back, producing an incandescent pain that makes him jump and run down the street, transforming into a rat on the way.

Lily watches Peter's transformation while he scurries away out of sight. . She pulls on Almond's leash and they both enter.

The house is somewhat old but well maintained with leather furniture. Lily continues down the corridor until she reaches the end of the ground floor, a door arch that gives access to the study library.

"I hope whoever interrupted me has good reason," says a man sitting behind a desk, focused on what looks like a huge map.

"Are you so focused on your plans or commissions which the Dark Lord has given you, that you no longer recognize the magical signature of the people entering, Severus?" Lily smiles although she does not remove her hood and mask in case there are more people.

Severus Snape, a young man who is hardly ever taken by surprise, looks up suddenly to face his visitor. At first it is difficult for him to recognize her by the dress and the strange mask, but the eyes betray her identity. Severus quickly waved his wand, closing the house completely, to prevent unwanted access or someone else from recognizing her.

"Lily? What are you doing here? How could you think of coming here, when you know that..."

"I know who your master is, Severus. I did not come as a spy or to join him," she sighs and opens her robe to show Arashi, now awake and laughing at the magic in the air. "I didn't know whom else to turn to. James is a scumbag and a womanizer," she says in a broken, bitter voice and is about to cry, dropping the mask to her neck.

Severus looks at the woman he has always loved and knows as one of the strongest, who now is breaking down and bursting into tears. It only takes him a few seconds to rescue the child from Lily's arms, before she falls on her knees and hides her face in her hands, sobbing loudly. Severus looks uncomfortably at the strange child in his hands and then at Lily. The little one is clearly his mother's son with those green eyes. He quickly collects some clothes in the room on the floor in front of the desk and delicately places the child on the small pile and kneels down to be at the same height as Lily.

"What did that idiot Potter do to you? I'm going to kill him! Shh… Calm down," he tries to calm her down, hugging her, letting her cry. "Mabsi!

A soft pop is heard in the room. Appearing in front of Severus is a humanoid creature just under a meter high, with large eyes like tennis balls and ears drooping like a bat.

"The master I call Mabsi?" the little house elf asks.

"Bring a few cups of tea from the fort, the one I put in the black box, a clean blanket for Lily, and something to eat."

The elf disappears with the orders while Severus helps Lily sit on one of the chairs.

He lets her cry and vent, while waiting for the elf to come back, he lights the fireplace with his wand. The dog sits in front of him at once, closely watching little Arashi, who looks around the room in wonder.

A few minutes pass when Mabsi returns with the blanket and a tea tray.

"Thank you, Mabsi," Lily greets the elf when she pours her a cup.

Severus puts the blanket around her so she can stay warm. Mabsi covers Arashi with another smaller blanket, carrying him in her arms.

Arashi looks curiously at the strange creature, but soon he is crumpling his face as he starts to get hungry, and he is starting to whine a bit.

"By Hecate, it's your time to eat!" Lily takes off her backpack and opens it using her wand. "

."

Severus looks curiously at the jar coming out of the backpack straight to Lily's hand, but he soon pales when he sees the intense blood color the liquid has. Only a few potions have that specific color, but when she uncovers the bottle and the smell of burnt flesh hits his nostrils, he knows at once what potion it is. Only a very particular potion - highly forbidden one at that - has those characteristics.

Lily puts some in a children's dropper, before taking Arashi from the elf, and puts the dropper in the baby's mouth.

"Lily, what are you doing?" Severus stops Lily by taking her by the arm.

"Please stop, Severus. It's the only way he can absorb enough nutrients from his meals." She pulls the arm from Severus's grasp and lets the potion into Arashi's mouth.

Severus waits for Lily to settle down for the baby to breastfeed. It seems so surrealistic to see the woman he loves breastfeeding a child which is not his own. He has countless times been imagining a similar situation, but the child would always have been his. Not Potter's, that bastard!

"What's his name? He doesn't look much like Potter."

"His name is Arashi Shiro Evans. James never accepted him when he came to see us. The one and only time he came to see us. He wasn't even with me during the birth. He was drunk like the skunk he is." Lily clenches her teeth annoyedly.

"I have to assume that he doesn't know you're here."

Lily begins to tell him everything that has happened in the last few weeks since Arashi's birth, as well as the things she had noticed before the birth: excessive drinking, mood swings, distancing from her to name a few.

Severus feels anger, even clenching his fists held in front of him until they turn white, grabs his hand trying to calm her down.

"He's always been a cretin, every Potter has been." Severus picks up the glass bottle where the potion is, examining it with his eyes before sniffing it. He no longer has any doubt what kind of potion this is. "This potion is the highest on the list of forbidden portions. Not just anyone can or is allowed to make it, do you know that?"

"Yes. Healer Eijin Kanou got me a lot, enough for a month, along with other potions. We spent some time doing tests. This is the only one that serves enough for Arashi to develop and grow." Lily separates Arashi from her breast when it is over, and she pats his back to get the air out of his stomach. "It's not a definitive solution, but it works for the time being." She looks at Severus. "Arashi is a fighter. I don't plan to give up yet."

Severus looks at the liquid again. The smell of burnt flesh still lingers despite the mouth of the bottle being closed.

"I can prepare several vials, but they will take a long time. Most of their ingredients.. well.. They are somewhat difficult to get Lily."

"I know. That's why I don't want to get to that level of need. At least not yet. I have the contact information of the potion master, who is a friend of Kanou. Worse, I need a place to stay. The money I have left will barely be enough for Arashi's potion." Lilly sighs heavily. "Forgive me that it came unexpectedly, but I did not know who else to go to."

Severus looks at the boy, who now looks at him with those green eyes. They are not emeralds like Lily's but of another intense tone. The cap has fallen off as a result of the moment during feeding, and now Severus cannot associate the child with Potter at all.. Every feature on the little one is different.

"Help us Severus, please." Lily pleads.

Severus is about to answer when the flames in the fireplace begin to increase and spark, turning green, warning of someone's bequest through the Flu network.

Lily at once covers her face with the mask, but she doesn't have time to cover her head when a man comes out of the flames.

"Lestrange," Severus greets coldly.

"Snape, our master wants us to perform tonight, everything is being prepared as we speak." The visitor notices Lily sitting on the couch with her son in her arms. "Wow, Snape, I didn't know you had company. Who is your friend? I hope she knows how to keep her mouth shut."

"I can do more than keep quiet, Mr. Lestrange," Lily says with restrained fury. "You'd better take care of your words. You're in front of a child."

Arashi looks at the man from his mother's arms. The man feels uncomfortable for some reason. Even Severus feels it.

"She is a friend and he's my godson, Lestrange. I will be there in time. Get out of here."

Lestrange releases a growl, regaining his composure before disappearing again by Flu powders.

"Lily," Severus begins to speak but Lily interrupts him by raising her hand.

"I know, Severus. You will not be able to protect me and even less take care of me. Even if I remained neutral in this war, I would probably have to face the Dark Lord at some point, and he would know of my blood status." She sighs, hugging her little son. "I need to leave the country, Severus. Britain is no longer safe to raise my son. I need to go to Japan. Eijin's friend lives there, and that way it won't take so long for the vials to arrive."

Severus stays thoughtful, knowing that his friend's words are true, but the problem is that the magical borders in other countries are very strict with receiving people from Europe, due to the war in Britain.

"I will find a solution, as long as the two of you stay here in my house, but we will have to change your appearance. I receive many unfriendly visits."

"Whatever it takes to protect us."

o-o-0-o-o

Lily and Arashi stayed longer than first anticipated at Severus' home. - our long months - in which she had to be a different person, even changing her hair color to a white one like Arashi's.

She always makes sure to wear her mask hanging from her neck, although regular visitors and others only know her as Arata, a temporary inhabitant in Severus' house.

Arashi continues to develop, although now he does it somewhat faster. The only thing area he remains underdeveloped for his age is his weight. Narcisa Black, Lucius Malfoy's fiancée, often comes to see him, as she wants to prepare for when she becomes a mother.

"Isn't he adorable, Bella?" Narcissa asks, looking at Arashi playing while he's lying on a children's blanket on the floor.

Bellatrix grimaces as the boy puts a toy in her mouth.

"I don't know how you find this kid cute. Why did you have a child, Arata?" Bellatrix says looking into the kitchen.

"I got together with a total asshole who didn't know how to keep his friend in his pants." Lily never feels comfortable with the Black sisters, especially Bella with her fanaticism for the Dark Lord.

"I can gladly make him pay," Bellatrix draws a twisted smile.

Arashi lets out a laugh, making a lip-waving sound that the adults learned to understand as a laugh or happiness.

"Thank you for the offer, Bella, apparently Arashi agrees with you," Lily smiles nervously, she doesn't understand why her son sometimes only laughs when he hears Bellatrix or the Lestrange brothers or Barty Crouch talk.

Surely, she is worrying too much. She walks back to the living room with the others.

"Do you still plan to go abroad, Arata?" asks Narcissa while drinking some tea.

"I've told you that before." Lily says with a shrug. "Arashi and I have a better chance of surviving elsewhere."

"But if he stays under the favor of the Dark Lord, he will survive. He can even speed up your process to leave the country. You just have to go to meet him and ask him." Bellatrix walks to sit next to Lily.

"I don't like to owe anyone anything, Bella, and please don't make me repeat it. I am neutral in this war. My magical affinity is inclined to blackish gray, if you want to say so. I am capable of anything for my son."

Bellatrix rolls her ears and snorts, crossing her arms.

The flames in the fireplace turn bright green, making way for Severus Snape.

"Why do I always see them here every time I come home?" Severus growls.

"As nice as ever, Severus," Bellatrix says with a mocking smile. Her voice is dripping with sarcasm.

"Forget it. Arata, I have news." Severus hands her a bag.

Lily opens the cloth bag, finds inside a magical passport stamped by the shield of the Holy Japanese Empire and a letter of invitation to continue her studies as a Resident Healer at Tokyo's Magic Hospital.

"Severus, how!?" Lily screams excitedly, reading the letter, it is a letter written by the representative of the empire in the magic ministry.

"Some necessary favors and a little help from Lucius, we managed to get it," Narcissa answers.

Lily almost cries with happiness, hugs the two of them and even Bellatrix to her surprise.

Hours later, almost at night, Lily and Arashi are at the airport, with only one suitcase for the two of them. The rest awaited them in Tokyo, thanks to the collaboration of Severus, the Black sisters, the Lestrange, and Crouch. She would never think she would receive help from Death Eaters to escape the war. Almond could not come with them. Lily's new job and taking care of Arashi will take a lot of her time, so the dog went to stay to live with Narcissa and Lucius. The only thing she regrets is that she doesn't get to see Narcissa getting married.

"Well, my child, let's go to our new life. Far away from your father." Lily boards the plane that will take her to Japan.

I hope you like the chapter please give me a review :) I will answer each of them, I will love to see if you have theoriesof what it's hapenning with Arashi. Remember Arashi actually will be Harry but he born 3 years before the end of the war.

What do you think about the soft spot for children of Narcisa and Bellatrix?
