Emerald eyes studied the yellow flower in Tifa's hand, and Aerith couldn't help but squee at the sight. Tifa wore her signiture outfit that consisted of a white cropped shirt, along with a short black skirt with dungaree straps, thigh-high black socks, and crimson ankle-high booties. They were very similar to a pair of Dr. Martin booties, that's for sure. Aerith just couldn't stop staring...at both the yellow flower and Tifa.

"Oh, Tifa! You're always so pretty," chimed Aerith, hands folded demurely in front of herself. "And the yellow flower suits you a lot. You should totally wear it...on your shirt or something!"

"Well, if you think this flower looks good on me then I'll definitely have to wear it," replied Tifa. Tilting her head, crimson orbs cast their gaze onto the brunette woman before her, while her lips curled into a smile. "But Aerith, are you feeling okay? You're a little too excited all of a sudden," she snickered.

A small flush crossed her cheekbones at Aerith's high level of excitement, Tifa could feel her hands becoming quite sweaty at the sight. Of course, Tifa was always a worry-pot, no matter what! She continued to hold the flower in her grasp.

"What do you mean? Don't worry about me, Tifa!" Aerith scoffed, pulling a toothy grin. Aerith gently swayed her hips, making her long rosy-pink dress dance in the act. "Just...I haven't seen anybody so happy with the flowers I give them. And you - you look so pretty with it, that's all."

"Really? I thought-" Tifa started, seconds before she was interrupted by an overly excited Aerith.

"Look here, Tifa-" Reaching out with a delicate hand, Aerith gently took this yellow flower from Tifa's grasp. "I think I may have a pin somewhere on me," she murmured, while her other hand checked the pockets on her red jacket. "Wait, wait, I do! A safety pin...and some string...yay!"

"Oh, yay? I wonder what you'll be doing with those," snickered Tifa, resting a hand on her hip.

Aerith wrapped this string around the head of the flower, and then jutted the safety pin inside this string. Lowering her torso just a bit, her long brunette braid slipped over her shoulder in the process. "Uh...I think-" While murmuring, Aerith pushed this safety pin into the belt on Tifa's short black skirt. She took a step back, and then observed the yellow flower that dangled.

"Uh...I guess it works...and it didn't hurt the flower either," she giggled, blushing a bright red!

"Well, as long as the flower isn't hurt then I guess that's fine with me," she answered with the brightest smile ever.

Both Aerith and Tifa wanted to help the planet, and how careful Aerith was with the flower...Tifa just wanted to cry.

As Tifa felt Aerith so close to her, she couldn't help but hide the fact that she was growing a tad flustered. Aerith always smelled like flowers; a beautiful scent that trailed around her like an everlasting perfume, and the scent coated her form. It made Tifa blush, but she simply rested a hand on Aerith's shoulder.

"Thanks! I'll wear it proudly thanks to you," remarked Tifa. "And...you're blushing. Do you need some water, Aerith?"

Aerith shook her head at that question, and then, she placed a delicate hand over the hand on her shoulder. She felt the glove that Tifa wore, as fingers idly stroked the crimson material.

"Hey! You haven't even looked at the flower yet," reminded Aerith, wagging an index finger playfully. "You should check it out! Unless...you're scared to?" Aerith's grin shrunk into a smirk, as those emerald hues continued to gaze into those sparkling crimon orbs. "I know what you're thinking, Tifa," she teased.

"W-what?"

In response, Tifa managed to speak; she had been staring at Aerith this whole time, unable to take her eyes off the beautiful brunette. Tifa's other hand rose up, started to reach towards Aerith, reaching out to touch her. This hand landed right on Aerith's cheek, and the flower girl, in response, simply nuzzled into Tifa's caring hand.

"U-um, well, not really scared to look at it...just mostly focused...on you," replied Tifa, finally. She swallowed her own spit nervously. Tifa literally just shared a meager confession to the green-eyed brunette.

With the gloved hand that touched Aerith's cheek, Tifa gently held Aerith's hand in her own, wrapping her hand in a soft embrace.

Warmth.

"Well, what am I thinking about then if you're so psychic?" Tifa checked, raising a curious black brow, and she pulled a snarky smirk in the process.

"What are you thinking about?" Aerith played along, as emerald hues caught a glimpse of the hand-holding. Her heart started to beat erractically through her chest. Aerith leaned in, and then started to whisper. "You're acting so strange-" Aerith pointed out, tilting her head, while her brunette braid and fringe followed with the motion. "You like me and I like you - simple!" Aerith shot back, still smirking, seconds before her cherry-pink lips widened into a small smile. "Maybe even love, right?"

Placing a hand onto Tifa's cheek, Aerith allowed her mind to talk, even act. Her cherry-pink lips planted a little kiss onto Tifa's, and when she pulled herself back, she spat out with laughter.

"Tifa!" Aerith giggled, a flush stuck to her warm-coloured features. "Of course I love you," she teased again, pulling the same toothy grin as before.

She hadn't even gotten to say what she was thinking but it was true; Tifa adored Aerith. In fact, these feelings were love. It was such a weak and simple way to say how she felt, but it was true. As Aerith kissed her, even the slightest peak caused a cascade of emotion.

"Yeah, I love you. I love you so much...that it...i-it feels...like my heart might explode from it all," snickered Tifa, sniffling from the incoming emotions. "I literally adore you...and I never wanna be without you. I just hope the future doesn't part us, like it has so many times before."

Water trickled down Tifa's flushed cheeks as she spoke, and her face appeared to be a collage of flushed hues of red. Tifa felt so overjoyed; the tears wouldn't stop flowing.

"You're so emotional," remarked Aerith. "I love it!"

"Oh, wow-" Tifa glanced down at the yellow flower that dangled on her skirt, and then, she couldn't help but laugh with joy. The yellow flower started to glow vibrantly, most likely responding to Aerith's feelings.

"Come here, Aerith!"

To the brunette woman standing before her, Tifa wrapped her arms around Aerith's collar, pulling the woman close to the warmth of her own body. Tifa still laughed, and the love she felt only caused her to hug Aerith even tighter than before.

"Aerith, you're so sweet. Really, you're like a gift sent to both me and Cloud. Really, you are," she remarked.
