The 'technician', otherwise known as Topher, worried over the fact that DeWitt had confirmed his suspicions on Alpha being alive. It terrified him on many levels and strangely some of that fear wasn't centered around himself. He was worried for Echo as well as Oscar due to the unnatural interest Alpha seemed to be displaying towards them both. At least Oscar hadn't had any problems out of the usual besides the remote wipe that happened recently, unlike Echo. He managed to take his mind after such terrifying thoughts of Alpha by using Echo's engagement requirements to have her turned into a living camera that would temporarily make her blind. Unfortunately, the next task he had to distract him was having to watch Victor in the showers to see when his 'man reactions' began. After hours of watching the footage with Dr. Saunders, she finally noticed the common factor for why he was having such a reaction. It was Sierra. Victor had a crush on Sierra. After they brought their findings to DeWitt, she told him to thoroughly scrub Victor and have him be monitored closely.
Now it was even worse for Victor because, during their lunch, Victor touched Sierra's shoulder and she completely freaked out. She fell to the ground, screaming in fear as she scrambled away from Victor. Dr. Saunders was convinced that Victor couldn't have done it. While he agreed with her, he wouldn't say so out loud. The situation was out of their hands; Victor had already been on thin ice due to the shower incident and the discovery of Sierra's rape, combined with her reaction towards Victor, made it seem as if he truly were the guilty party. He had to interview Victor with Dr. Saunders and that only cemented his belief in Victor's innocence. It took a while, but Echo's handler Boyd finally uncovered that it was Sierra's handler Hearn that had been raping his active. This caused DeWitt to come up with a plan and tasked Topher to imprint Echo a personality to deal with FBI agent Ballard bothering them as well as gave Hearn a suicide mission. She was very happy with the results once both task were completed. Agent Ballard was taken off the case and suspended of duty while Hearn was killed by their sleeper active November.
She decided to keep November in her current position, knowing that being taken off the case was not enough for Ballard to stop searching for the dollhouse. She ordered Mr. Dominic to contact the other dollhouses to tell them about what happened to Sierra so that such a thing wouldn't happen again. Topher had thankfully managed to scrub Sierra of the incidents involving her handler raping her; she refused to have something like this ever happen again. She looked down at Echo seated at the art station.
She made her way downstairs and over to where she was sitting.
"Hello, Echo." She said as she sat down across from her and glanced at the couple in front of a house Echo had painted, "You've drawn a picture. It's very good."
Echo looks up, "It isn't finished."
DeWitt looks startled at her response, "… The picture?"
"It isn't finished."
"Would you like it to be finished?" She questioned.
She then allowed Echo to complete her previous engagement with Mr. Mynor that had been interrupted by Ballard.
Jason was still trying to figure out if he needed to contact Bruce about Dick and the dollhouse. He had read the files his informant had given him and, just like his informant predicted, had to arrange another meeting with more questions. He had only been looking for his brother, but he couldn't stand aside now that he knew more about the place that currently had Dick in their custody. There had over 20 dollhouses in major cities around the world as well as ties to every major political power on the planet! Not only that, but some of the dolls were programmed to be killing machines when a certain phrase was spoken. Another spoken phrase allowed them to be reverted back to whatever imprint they currently had with no memory of any deaths they caused and it would often times upset and terrify them when they discover any deaths that occurred. Unfortunately, one of the sleeper dolls with this special programming was his brother and they didn't know the trigger phrase which would make it even harder to save him from the dollhouse.
"Jason!"
Jason turned to see his informant waving at him as he ran into the warehouse to see him.
Jason waved back with a small smile, "Hey."
"So what do you need answers of?" The man asked.
Jason's smile vanished, "I read the information about the incident that took place a bit more than three months ago. A doll named Alpha went on a murderous rampage, but left only two dolls alone while everyone around them were killed. A doll named Echo and the second is Oscar! Didn't you tell me that my brother's doll name was Oscar?!"
"Yes, Dick Grayson is the doll named Oscar."
Jason sighed, "Great. Dick has another psychopath obsessed with him. At least he's safe since the doll Alpha is dead, right?"
"Actually…"
"You have got to be kidding me?! They didn't actually kill him?! Of course they didn't, it's just like always, he's a magnet for trouble."
Jason sighed, I think I might need to reveal that I'm alive to Bruce so he can help me save Dick. Oh Dick, why is it always you?
