DeWitt called a few actives to try and find a missing vial of an experimental drug on campus of Fremont College. Topher was also tasked to see if he could find a way to reverse the effects of the drug. She pulled him aside to enquire about whether Echo was already at an engagement and Topher confirmed it, asking if he should call her back.
"No, she can sit this one out." DeWitt answered before walking away.
Later, three black vans pulled into the college campus and a group of people wearing suits exited the vans and Victor issued out orders to the others, standing next to him was Oscar or whatever identity he had been imprinted with.
Dominic walked up with Sierra in a lab coat, "Tom. This is Dr. Gawa from the center of the disease control."
"Super. I haven't heard a good flesh-eating strain of something horrible story in a while." Victor, currently known as Tom, said with his hand outstretched to shake Sierra's hand.
"Yeah, I've got dozens." Sierra replied and shook his hand.
"Hopefully, today won't be worth talking about. Let's find these kids and get them better. Next to me is my second in command, Garrick." Victor stated while gesturing to Oscar.
Oscar nodded his head in greeting, "Nice to meet you, Dr. Gawa."
"Likewise."
"I've got you set up at the Kappa Zeta Kai house and Tom, you'll be running the grid." Dominic said.
"Uh, the grid's taken care of. I'll be too busy rounding up our day trippers to look under mattresses." Victor said with a dismissive wave of his hand before looking up from his paperwork handed to him by Oscar to look at Dominic.
"That's my call."
"Actually, it's mine." Victor stated as he reached into his pocket and flashed him his badge.
"You're NSA?"
"Which outranks Rossom private security by… more than a whole bunch."
"Topher." Dominic gritted his teeth while muttering under his breath, "Alright. Fine, I'll stay here and be the communications command post."
Victor gestured to Sierra, "First have someone show Dr. Gawa to Kappa house." He then directed a question to the woman he had gestured towards, "You good?"
"Yeah. I've always wanted to go to a Frat party."
"Let's go." Victor said as he gestured for Oscar to follow him as each group parted ways.
A few hours later Echo parked a red motorbike onto the college campus and wandered around in confusion.
"Are you lost?" A male voice called out from behind her.
She turned around to see Victor, Oscar, and another unknown male.
"Hi. Umm… no." She said.
"Do you go to Fremont?" Victor asked.
"Umm… I don't know," she said while looking around in confusion, "Th-there's parts that seem… I… I don't know."
"You can come with us." Victor says while gesturing for her to follow them before speaking into a device on his wrist, "We got one more."
"Copy that." A male voice replied from the device.
Oscar put a hand at the small of her back before leading her away alongside his colleagues.
Where are we going?" She questioned as she allowed herself to be led up a pair of stairs further onto campus.
They dropped Echo off at Kappa house before leaving once again. About 6 minutes later a struggling woman was led into the room by Oscar before being hoisted over Victor's shoulder to be placed in another section of the room. The young woman pounded on his back while yelling her protests that quickly dissolved into pleads for him to stop and put her down.
An hour later, Victor and Oscar entered the lab where the first victim of the drug had killed himself asking a man he called James to keep looking when he said he hadn't found anything yet.
"Sure. Now you're experts," Dominic muttered from his seat on a swivel chair before pulling his gun out of it's holster, "Four hours ago you were discussing your love for apple sauce."
He then proceeded to unload and reload his gun before putting it back in his pocket. He glanced around before unholstering his gun again and repeating the process once more.
"We'll, my guys have got this fairly well contained. 14 subjects exhibiting erratic behavior, sedated." Victor said with a sigh before glancing over to Dominic.
"What?" Dominic asked.
"We've rounded up 14…" He stopped talking when he noticed Dominic reload his gun with a goofy smile on his face, "You okay?"
"I'm fine. Go on." He said before he let out a small laugh, "Four… fourteen round what?"
"Buddy…" Victor slowly lowered himself a bit to make eye contact with Dominic, "How about we head over to containment?"
Dominic leaned slightly away from Victor with an amused expression of suppressed laughter while slightly swinging back and forth on the swivel chair, "I'm fine."
"Dr. Gawa will give you a light sedative…" Victor said as he slowly stood back up while tentatively reaching out to towards the gun in Dominic's hand only to pull back away when Dominic stood up defensively.
"Hey! I'm fine!" Dominic yelled while pointing the gun at Victor.
Victor raised his hands up in surrender, "Alright. Easy buddy."
"I know how to solve problems."
"You bet." Victor said as he slowly moved towards Dominic, still having his hand raised in the air non-threateningly.
"Oh man, this is so heavy." Dominic complained as he pointed the gun a bit more towards the ground, "Makes my arms tired."
Victor gestured to the gun, "Want me to help you out with that?"
Dominic nodded with a pout before handing the gun over to Victor.
"Okay, here we go." Victor said softly before taking the gun out of Dominic's hand.
Dominic let out a sigh of relief as he relinquished the gun to Victor. He then turned towards Oscar and gestured towards Dominic before walking away with the gun. Oscar walked up to Dominic with a kind smile and gently touched his arm.
"Wow. Hey, it's… it's so heavy," Dominic said before putting his arm over Oscar's shoulder as he was led away, "Extremely. Everything's heavy."
Oscar smiled patiently as Dominic continued being very affectionate towards him, "Right. That's okay. Come on, let's take you to see Dr. Gawa."
Victor put the gun down on one of the lab tables and rubbed his hand over his brow with a heavy sigh. He picked up his phone and dialed a number, waiting impatiently for the recipient to answer his call. As soon as the call connected he waisted no time for pleasantries and spoke before the other person on the line could speak.
"Yeah, I need to speak to the person in charge at the security office."
