They all suddenly heard footsteps approaching the door of the room they were inside and Victor quickly motioned for them to hide.
He grabbed Sierra and pulled her alongside him, "Someone's coming."
Oscar took November's arm and motioned for Echo to follow them to hide. They managed to hide before the door opened to reveal one of the security guards. The guard began rummaging around one of the clothing racks before finding the outfit he had been looking for and leaving the room. They all quickly got changed into a pair of clothes from their clothing rack and left to find a way out. They came to a stop in front of an elevator.
"Who has the card thingy?" Sierra asked.
Echo quickly stepped forward and unlocked it.
"What did you just do?" Victor asked.
"Calling the elevator." Sierra said with a shrug.
"What if somebody's in it?" He asked.
"We don't have a choice, do we?" Echo said seriously.
"Go up or go back." Sierra said, "Anyone going back?"
They all anxiously waited for the elevator to arrive, hoping that no one would be inside it once it opened for them. The elevator doors binged it's arrival before opening to reveal no one inside. They all entered the elevator and pushed the button to take them to the garage. The elevator went up and eventually stopped with another bing. The doors opened to reveal a garage full of black cars.
"I can't believe we made it." Sierra whispered.
Victor went straight to business and started looking through car window, "Start checking doors. See if any of them are unlocked."
"We need to tell someone about what's happening." Sierra said, "Should we call the police? The FBI?"
"For all we know this is the FBI." November said as she dragged Oscar alongside her, not wanting to get separated from him.
"What about everybody inside that needs help?" Echo asked.
"We do nothing until we understand what this place is and who we can trust." Victor said.
They all stopped as they heard a car begin to pull into the garage.
"Guys, cars coming!" Sierra whispered.
They all crouched down behind one of the cars to remain hidden from whoever was coming. A black car pulled into one of the parking spaces and they all watched as the door opened to reveal a woman. She went to the passenger side and opened the door for a man dressed in the cameo attire of a soldier.
"When you wear the uniform, you got to push it all down, bury it." The soldier said as he got out of the car and followed her into the elevator, "It never happened, right? The good guys lost one today. I had to watch a man die and I'm just supposed to make it disappear?"
"Guys, wait here." Victor told them before getting up to check out the car that had just came.
"Did you here that? Someone died." November whispered to Echo as she clutched Oscar closer.
Oscar stared at the spot the soldier had previously been standing in, remaining silent.
"He said he was one of the good guys…" Echo whispered back.
"But he went in there…" Sierra said, "How do we know who to trust?"
Oscar squeezed November's hand, "We trust each other."
"He's right. We figure this out together. We start with what we know." Echo said before turning to Sierra, "You know your name's not Sierra. And the guy that put you here, what's his name?"
"I-I don't know." Sierra stammered.
"No, you do know. What's his name?" Echo insisted.
"His name… his name… his name is Nolan." Sierra said.
"See?" Echo said before turning to November, "And you know Katie, your daughter. And you're gonna think hard and remember where to find her, right? And I know a mountain house. It's safe there. I need to go there. Oscar, do you remember anything from before waking up here?"
Oscar thought for a second before answering, "I-I'm not sure. I remember I lost someone close to me. And there was someone else too, a woman. I think I was helping her… maybe to find the person we both lost? That's all I can remember right now…"
November squeezed his hand in reassurance, "It's okay. You can help me find my daughter and, when you remember more, I'll help you to find who you've lost."
Oscar smiled softly at November, "Thank you."
"Guys, look sharp." Victor said while racing over to them to show them the keys he had found, "Wheels up."
They all got up from their hiding spots and raced over to the car he had found the keys for. They heard a ping from the elevator, signaling the doors would open soon.
"Look out." Victor whispered before they all ducked down, just in time as the elevator doors opened moments later.
A man dressed in a business suit and Tango, dressed rather provocatively, stood within the elevator. Tango was speaking fluently in French as they walked out of the elevator.
"You know I don't understand when you speak French." The man said as Tango continued speaking to him in French.
"That's Tango…" Echo said
Once the two got into the car and drove off, everyone got up and glanced at the leaving car to see the garage door opening.
"Let's get out of here." Victor said as they all buckled in.
"Wait!" Echo yelled as she unbuckled herself and kept out of the car.
"What are you doing?" Oscar asked.
"What's wrong?" November asked.
"Get back in the car!" Victor called out as he rolled down the car window.
"I can't leave." Echo said, "Did you see Tango, that sweet girl? That is not a costume warehouse we just busted out of. That's a people warehouse."
"You have to come with us." November insisted.
"That army guy they brought back… they're doing it both ways. They make people go out and do terrible things and then bring them back and make them go away." Echo said.
"And you'll be putting yourself back in there." Sierra stated, "You didn't fight to get out for nothing.
"Not nothing…" Echo said with a shake of her head, "You guys are okay now. I go back in knowing that."
"This thing… it's too big. There's too many of them, they have guns! What do you think you're gonna do?" Victor tried to reason with her.
"Try and make a difference." Echo said before walking back towards the elevator.
Oscar looked torn between escaping with the others and staying behind to help Echo try and help the others. However, November quickly stopped him by taking his hand back within her own and he turned back to look at her.
"Please… stay with me… I can't do this on my own…" November plead with him.
He hesitated another moment before finally nodding, "Okay… okay, I'll stay with you."
They then speed away, the last thing the others seeing as Victor drove them away was the elevator door closing and taking Echo back to the prison they had only just escaped from.
