In the middle of the night Fox Mulder suddenly woke up from a nightmare. The 44 year old man laid in bed as she felt his wife cuddle up to him. The older man rolled over and looked at his wife as she remained fast asleep. Mulder stood at 6' tall, weighed 200lbs, had short brown hair, green eyes, and a constant 5 o'clock shadow. The man yawned, and wrapped his arms around his wife before cuddling with her and trying to fall asleep again.

As Mulder tried to fall asleep, he heard some small footsteps walk into his bedroom. The older man laid there, trying to appear asleep. As he heard the footsteps walk to his side of the bed, he groaned as he slowly sat up. He heard a small child mumble happily as he sat up.

"Stormy, why are you awake," Mulder mumbled as he rubbed his face. Storm grabbed onto her father's blanket and set her favorite stuffed animal, a fox, on the bed. The toddler stood at 32" and weighed about 27lbs. She also had brown hair that constantly fell into her green eyes, with a dusting of freckles across her nose.

The toddler looked up at her father and reached out for him. Mulder looked over at the clock, saw it was only 3am and yawned. The older man slowly climbed out of bed, then picked his daughter up. The toddler grabbed onto her father and looked around as Mulder picked up his daughter's stuffed fox before walking out of the bedroom.

"Do you need a bottle?" Mulder asked his daughter as Storm held onto her father happily. Storm laid on her father and mumbled away. The older man sighed not knowing why his daughter was awake since he just wanted to go back to bed himself. The toddler sat up and grabbed onto her father's face as she mumbled softly.

"Storm why are you awake? It's night time. We need to sleep," Mulder spoke softly, but firmly to his daughter. Storm shook her head as she tried to grab at her fox. The older man sighed as he handed the stuffed fox back to his daughter. The toddler quickly hugged the fox close to her as Mulder slowly walked downstairs.

The older man yawned as he walked into the kitchen and gently set his daughter on the floor next to him before he opened a cupboard and grabbed an empty bottle. The toddler sat on the floor and looked up at her father as he walked over to the refrigerator to pour some milk into the bottle. Mulder smiled down at his daughter when he saw he was being watched. Storm smiled back at her father before hugging her fox close to her.

Mulder yawned again as he heated up some water in a pan on the stove and set the bottle into it. Storm rubbed her eyes as she waited patiently for her bottle. The older man smiled as he knelt down next to his child.

"I love you Storm. Can you tell me why you woke up and won't sleep?" Mulder asked again gently. Storm looked up at her father before looking around for her bottle. The older man sighed, thinking Storm was going through one of her phases where she refused to talk. Soon Mulder gave up and stood up to check on the bottle.

"Bad dream," Storm mumbled unhappily. Mulder stopped and gave his daughter a small smile. His daughter suffered from night terrors like he did, but Mulder had no idea why his daughter suffered from them. The toddler whined unhappily and rubbed her eyes as Mulder stood up to check the bottle.

When Storm saw her father stand up, she slowly got off the floor as well and tried to follow him. Mulder walked over to the stove, picked up the bottle and checked the temperature of the milk. The older man shut off the stove, before picking up his daughter, and grabbing the bottle. Storm mumbled happily as her father held her close. Mulder smiled at his daughter and kissed her on the side of the head before heading back up the stairs to his daughter's room.

As Mulder walked into his daughter's room, the toddler quickly quieted down and watched her father. Mulder smiled as he gently set his daughter down in her bed, and tried to cover her up. Storm whined unhappily as she tried to push the blanket off of her. The older man sighed unhappily as he sat next to his daughter's bed.

"Night night Storm. It's time to sleep," Mulder spoke firmly as his daughter settled down. Storm hugged her fox close to her as her father gently tried to feed Storm her bottle. The toddler quickly held onto the bottle and started to drink it happily. Mulder kissed his daughter once more before standing up.

"I love you Storm. Night night," Mulder spoke softly. Storm mumbled happily as she drank her bottle and slowly fell asleep. The older man watched his daughter for a few minutes before returning to his bedroom.

As Mulder climbed back into bed, his wife slowly started to wake up. The older man forced a smile and laid down, just wanting to go back to bed. The woman felt her husband laid back in bed, and cuddled up to him. Mulder rolled over towards his wife and held her close as he yawned.

"Why did you get out of bed, Mulder?" the woman asked softly as she snuggled into her husband. Mulder smiled at his wife and kissed her gently as they cuddled. The woman sighed happily.

"I woke up from a nightmare, then Stormy walked into the room, cause she woke up from a nightmare as well. It's fine now Scully. I gave Storm a new bottle and put her back to bed," Mulder mumbled into his wife. Dana Scully smiled at her husband. The woman stood at about 5'4" tall, weighed 135lbs, had shoulder length red hair with blue eyes, and a dusting of freckles across her nose.

"Oh Mulder. You know you could have woke me up. I would have helped with our daughter," Scully spoke softly. The older woman watched her husband, trying not to upset him. Mulder usually was moody when he woke up from a nightmare. The older man yawned again and snuggled with his wife enjoying her company. Scully smiled and returned her husband's affections.

"I know Dana, I'm sorry. I love you," Mulder spoke softly. Scully smiled as she gently kissed her husband.

"I love you too Mulder. Come on. Let's try to get some sleep, okay?" Scully spoke softly as Mulder looked for her attention. The older woman smiled as she gave her husband the attention he was looking for. Mulder mumbled happily as he got his attention. Soon the couple fell asleep together.

Later that morning Scully woke up before her husband did for the day. The older woman smiled at her husband before snuggling up to him. Mulder grumbled unhappily as his wife tried to cuddle with him. Scully smiled as she gently kissed her husband. Soon Mulder slowly woke up.

"Mmm Dana," Mulder whined at his wife as he woke up. The older woman smiled as she cuddled with her husband. The older man grinned as he hugged his wife close to him and held her as he showered her with affection. Scully smiled and giggled as Mulder pressed his face against hers.

"I love you beautiful," Mulder smiled as he nibbled at his wife's neck. Scully smiled as she turned towards her husband and kissed him deeply. The older man groaned as he returned his wife's kisses. As the couple made out, their toddler slowly walked into their bedroom.

"Dada," Storm cried softly as she rubbed her eyes. Mulder sighed as he heard his daughter walk into their room, not wanting his alone time with his wife to end. Scully smiled as she kissed her husband one more time before he climbed out of bed to collect his daughter. The toddler whined again as she hugged her fox close to her.

"Hi sweetheart," Mulder spoke softly as he picked up his daughter. Storm mumbled unhappily as her father picked her up. The older man snuggled with his daughter as he held her before walking back to his daughter's room to change her diaper. The toddler whined again as she rubbed her eyes.

Mulder looked down at his daughter as she cried softly. He guessed the toddler woke up suddenly to be in an upset mood. Usually Storm was a happy toddler when she woke up. The older man kissed his daughter gently as he laid his daughter on her changing table and set her stuffed fox on her bed.

"I love you Stormy," Mulder spoke softly as he took his daughter's pajamas off. The toddler pointed at her fox as her father tried to change her. The older man looked to where his daughter was pointing and smiled. Storm mumbled wanting her stuffed animal. Mulder yawned as he changed his daughter's diaper before grabbing some clean clothes, and dressing her again.

"Here you go Storm," Mulder spoke softly as he picked his daughter up and grabbed her stuffed fox. Storm mumbled happily as her father gave her her favorite toy. The older man kissed his daughter before walking back to his bedroom to check on his wife.

"Hey Dana, I'm going to go make coffee and breakfast. Do you work today?" Mulder asked as he held their daughter close to him. Storm looked up at her father and mumbled happily. The older man grinned down at his daughter.

"I don't work today, Mulder. I'm going to use the bathroom, and I'll be downstairs in a moment," Scully smiled at her husband. Mulder nodded as he left the bedroom with his daughter. Scully sat in bed for a few more moments before getting up and using the bathroom. After finishing up in the bathroom, the older woman walked into her daughter's bedroom and collected her empty bottles before heading downstairs.

While Scully was in the bathroom, Mulder was standing at the kitchen counter downstairs. Storm was holding onto her father's pants as he made coffee. The older man looked down at his daughter and smiled. Over the last few days, Storm was wanting her father over her mother. The toddler was mumbling softly to herself as she held onto her father.

"Mmm that coffee smells amazing," Scully spoke happily as she walked down the stairs. Mulder turned around and grinned when he heard his wife. The older woman smiled when she saw her family and walked over to them. Storm saw her mother and tried to hide her face in her father's pant leg.

"Hey why are you being shy with Mama," Mulder asked with a small laugh as he looked down at his daughter. Scully smiled at her daughter as she opened the fridge to pull out some breakfast. The toddler peeked out at her mother as she set out some food on the counter. Mulder smiled as he picked up his daughter and held her close.

"Are you hungry, Stormy?" Mulder asked softly. Storm nodded as she mumbled unhappily. The older man smiled as he walked over to Storm's highchair and gently set her in it. As Mulder was buckling his daughter in, Scully set some cut up bananas on her daughter's tray. The toddler whined unhappily.

"Enough," Mulder scolded his daughter as he put the tray back onto the highchair. Scully smiled as she rubbed her husband's back before she grabbed some cherrios for her daughter. Mulder turned around and looked at his wife and grinned. The woman smiled at her husband as he walked over to make breakfast for himself.

"Here sweetheart," Scully spoke softly as she poured out some cherrios onto Storm's tray. The toddler whined as her mother tried to feed her. The older woman scolded her daughter gently as she whined. The toddler mumbled as she ate her breakfast.

"Here you go Dana," Mulder grinned as he gave his wife some coffee and a bowl of cereal. Scully smiled at her husband as she sat down at the kitchen table. Storm mumbled unhappily as she ate her breakfast. Mulder watched his daughter as he sat at the table.

"Is there anything you want to do today, Mulder?" Scully asked as she took a bite of food. Mulder drank his coffee before speaking.

"I don't have any plans. Is there anything you wanna do today?" Mulder asked as he ate more of his food. Storm mumbled as she ate more of her food and watched her parents. Scully smiled at her daughter as she ate.

"Juice," Storm mumbled softly as she looked at her parents. Scully heard her daughter speak, and smiled before she stood up from the table. The toddler mumbled unhappily, wanting her father to get her juice, and not her mother. The older woman pulled a sippy cup out of the cupboard, grabbed some apple juice and poured it into the cup.

"Here you go Storm," Scully smiled as she set the sippy cup on her daughter's tray. The toddler whined, but grabbed the cup and drank from it. The older woman kissed her daughter happily before returning to her place at the table. Soon Storm was done with her breakfast.

"Dada down," Storm whined at her father. Mulder looked at his daughter, then looked at her tray. Storm finished most of her breakfast with the exception of a few pieces of cereal. The older man stood up and removed Storm's tray from her highchair and picked her up. The toddler mumbled happily as she held onto her father.

"Will you sit with me while I finish breakfast, or do you want to go play?" Mulder asked his daughter. Storm looked around and pointed at the living room. The older man smiled as he gently set his daughter down on the floor. The toddler mumbled as she slowly got off the floor.

"Here you go sweetheart," Scully spoke softly as she handed her daughter her juice. Storm looked up at her mother and slowly took the cup from her. Scully smiled as her daughter watched her for a few moments before running into the living room. Mulder chuckled as he ate more breakfast.

The toddler mumbled happily as she got into her toy box. Storm set down her juice as she pulled out some stuffed animals and giggled happily. Scully smiled proudly as she watched her daughter. Mulder grinned at his family.

"Um, other than needing groceries and stuff like that, I don't have plans for today. We can stay home today. Maybe let Stormy play outside," Scully smiled as she looked at her husband. Mulder returned his wife's smile.

"That sounds like a good idea, Scully. We can do that if you like," Mulder smiled as he finished his breakfast. Scully nodded and turned her attention back to her daughter. Storm was mumbling happily as she played pretend with her toys. The older man smiled as he stood up, collected the dishes and went to wash them. Scully looked over at her husband before she stood up and walked to the living room.

As Scully walked into the living room, Storm stopped playing and watched her mother carefully. The older woman smiled as she sat on the couch and turned on the TV. Scully was purposely not acknowledging Storm in hopes Storm would want her attention. Storm hated being ignored, even if she didn't want one of her parents, if they ignored her, she would whine for their attention.

Mulder turned around and smiled at his family as he washed the dishes in the sink. Storm looked at both of her parents before returning her attention back to her toys. Scully smiled as she slowly flipped through the TV channels, pausing for a few seconds longer on the channels Storm liked to watch. The toddler noticed what her mother was doing and looked up at her.

Scully settled down and chose a channel to watch. Storm mumbled as she slowly got off the floor. The older woman smiled thinking Storm was going to wander over to the couch. When Storm wandered into the kitchen, the older woman sighed.

"Fox," Storm mumbled as she pointed to her stuffed animal sitting on the kitchen counter. Mulder looked down at his child and smiled. The toddler was doing her best trying to reach for her toy, but was too short to grab it.

"Dana, can you come help Storm?" Mulder asked his wife as he washed the dishes. Scully smiled as she got off the couch and walked over to the kitchen counter. Storm quickly hid herself between her father's legs as her mother picked up the fox. Mulder looked down at his daughter and sighed.

"Here sweetheart," Scully spoke softly as she handed her daughter her stuffed fox. Storm quickly took the toy from her mother and hugged it close to her. The older woman gently gave her husband a kiss before returning to the couch. Mulder grinned as he returned to washing the dishes. Storm mumbled as she slowly returned to her toys in the living room.

Scully was sitting on the floor next to the couch as she watched TV. Storm mumbled softly as she sat down with her stuffed animals, trying to keep an eye on her mother. Scully ignored her daughter and turned the TV to a news channel and watched it. Soon Storm slowly was wandering over to her mother. The older woman kept an eye on her daughter, but was trying to ignore her.

"Mama, hold," Storm mumbled softly, wanting her mother's attention finally. Scully smiled at her daughter and held out her arms. The toddler smiled and hugged onto her mother. The older woman quickly held her daughter close and kissed her.

"Do you want to sit on the chair with Mama?" Scully asked hopefully. Storm nodded as she pointed at the TV. The older woman slowly stood up and walked over to the sofa chair while holding her daughter close. The toddler mumbled happily as Scully slowly sat down in the chair.

"Mama," Storm mumbled while pointing at the TV. Scully smiled as she changed the channel to some cartoons. The toddler mumbled happily as she held onto her mother, and settled down in her arms. Soon Mulder walked into the living room and joined his family on the couch. As Mulder sat down Storm mumbled happily seeing her father.

Mulder reached out and held his wife's hand as they watched TV. The older woman smiled as she looked over at her husband. Storm pulled on her mother's shirt, wanting attention. Scully looked down at her daughter and rubbed her back.

"Stormy, can we play outside today?" Mulder asked his daughter gently as he looked over at his daughter. Storm nodded as she cuddled with her mother. Scully kissed her daughter happily as she went back to watching the TV. Mulder smiled at his family as he also started watching TV with the family.
