Rose Weasley was 25 years old. She was working as an auror in the ministry of magic for eight years. With her brilliance, she easily became the best auror in the department. Her planning and knowledge in spells were the most important thing on each and every mission.

Her dad and uncle were already retired and non of her large family were interested on this pathway. So she was the only auror in her family after her dad and uncle. Even her best friend and cousin, Albus, who always dreamed to be an auror became a well known quidditch player who played to Chudley Cannons. Quidditch dragged him away from being auror.

"Hey, Weasley. Auror Creevy needs to talk to you." Nate Shacklebolt called her. Rose narrowed her eyes and looked at head auror Creevy's cabin curiously.

"Why?" She asked.

Nate shrugged. "You'd better ask from himself."

Rose sighed and strode towards the head auror's cabin.

Auror Creevy was there with a wide grin on his face. Rose relieved to see that. So, this must not about any mistake or something!

Auror Creevy greated. "Good evening Weasley!"

"Good evening Sir." Rose replied with a faint smile.

"I have a good news for you." Creevy said cheerfuly. "You know about our new mission on the mid night attacks on muggles and wizards these days."

Rose nodded. The resent, unresolved mystery in the department was about these attacks. No one still didn't manage to recognise what was the thing that attack on people. It was highly suspected that must be a magical creature.

"As we discussed, I tried to find a good magizoologist all around the world for our help." Creevy continued. "Finally, I found the man. He is young, strong and very well specialized on his subject. He has many experiences with different kind of magical creatures all around the world. I'm sure he will be a great help in our mission."

Rose felt diligence. She always knew that she can't solve them without a hand of an expert. She only had the knowledge on the magical creatures in the Care of Magical Creatures lesson at Hogwarts. She actually, never enjoyed those lessons that much! "When will he be comming Sir?" She asked.

"Actually, at the beginning, he didn't want to come here. He loved to be seeking new creatures in forests everywhere." Creevy said. "But however he agreed to come over here and help us after listening to our matter. And then he need to get away as soon as possible into his old life routine." He sighed and continued. "He will be here any moment now. May be in few minutes. But the thing is Weasley, you should complete this mission as fast as you can. We can't waste our time. This is a serious matter and also the hired magizoologist is an odd kind of man. I don't want him to disappoint on our work and pull off from the mission." He looked at Rose seriously. "Understood?"

Rose nodded.

Creevy continued. "You, this magizoologist, Davies, Zeller and Carter are in charge of the mission."

Rose nodded solemnly. "Of cause sir. We are ready to carry on the mission from now on."

"Good!" Creevy grinned. Then there was a knocking sound. "The magizoologist is here it seems." Creevy said happily and then aimed his wand towards the door.

The door cracked opened. Rose turned to glance on this 'amazing' magizoologist who she should work with for weeks as teammates.

The first thing she saw was his tall figer. And then... she saw his patinum blond hair! Rose transfixed and she felt her body was stiffening. She felt her eyes were welling with warm tears.

The magizoologist was non other than Scorpius Malfoy!

He was easily recognizable even after long 8 years without a sign. His blond hair was short and he was still pale, though he was working outside. He seemed bit effere than before. His eyes were bit darker shade of grey than before. His face was still sharp, but with few predominant scars over it.

Scorpius Malfoy was still handsome and charming as ever! Well, may be bit more handsome!

Rose gulped. she didn't blink or else her tears may pour down infront of Scorpius. She could say that Scorpius Malfoy's eyes initially widened and stucked on Rose, but then he managed to be expressionless. He carefully extracted his eyes away from Rose and talked to auror Creevy. "Good evening Sir!" Rose's heart started to pound harder inside her collar when she heard his voice. She was affraid that it would be heard to the others as well.

Auror Creevy, who was paying his full attention to Scorpius, smiled at him and talked. Rose grittered her teeth and tried to act formal. "Welcome Mr Malfoy! Think you are enjoying being home town after years. Weasley, this is Mr Malfoy. Our special agent, magizoologist. Mr Malfoy, this is Rose Weasley. Our best auror of the department. And the coordinator of our mission."

Scorpius merely nodded. "Come and take a seat." Auror Creevy invited him. Scorpius strode towards and sat on the chair next to Rose, being careful to not to glance at Rose.

"Mr Malfoy, Weasley and our other members in your team will discuss about the problem with you clearly." Creevy continued. "You can have the idea about the mission then."

Rose nodded as she was lack of words. "Weasley, I think you may go with Malfoy. Then you and others can discuss about these crimes to give Malfoy a rough idea. Don't you think so?" Auror Creevy proposed. "Use the mission cabin. You can use that in the rest of mission. So Malfoy can stay there for this time." Auror Creevy stood up and patted both of them's shoulders. "This is the most weighed mission in here right now. So this is very important to the world as well as us. I hope you will do your best. Good luck guys!"

Rose stood up and greated auror Creevy she was imperioed by someone and paced away. She felt Scorpius was doing the same and following her closely. Rose opened the door of mission cabin and went inside. Scorpius followed her. She didn't know what to say. She cleared her thought. "This is our mission cabin. This place is for most important missions of aurors. You can stay here all along the mission." The cabin was bit messy. The aurors who used that before did not seem cleaned that. Rose cleaned the whole cabin with one wave of her wand. "Make yourself home." She burbled.

Why was she that much stupid. Even to not to find the proper word! How someone coluld say that she was the most intelligent witch in auror's department!

Rose hurried away from to cabin to her private table. She stared at her paperwork for a while. Old memories rushed to her mind.

Scorpius Malfoy was Albus's best friend. She initially didn't like him, but in fifth year everything changed and they started dating.

It surprised whole Hogwarts crowd as well as her family. But that time Rose spent with him, was in her memory as her best time of her life. She not only dated him, but also she loved him.

But after seventh year summer holidays, he changed. He cheated on Rose. She never found out it, but Scorpius confessed. He confessed that he never loved her or even didn't have feelings for her. He said he loved another girl that he met in the summer vacation. He confessed that he was just playing with her and she was nothing to him.

And then, there was the hardest time of Rose Wesley's life. Her family was always beside her to cheer her up. But she never couldn't become old Rose Weasley. Scorpius never again talked to her or even faced to her. He almost avoid everyone in the school. Even his friends. When Hugo and Lily cursed him as a punishment, he even didn't respond. He didn't complain or provoke. All over the year Scorpius had a lukewarm attitude in the school. He became stranger after all.

Albus was the only friend of Scorpius in that whole year. Albus pitied both Scorpius and Rose, though Rose couldn't understand why. Rose was the aggrieved one after all.

But, Rose didn't conflict on Albus's and Scorpius's friendship. He was Albus's best friend for years. (Well, in the deepest of her mind, she didn't want to make Scorpius all alone over the year, even after everything he did to her.)

After that year at Hogwarts, Albus said that Scorpius went for a world travel or something. It seemed Albus wanted to made Rose and Scorpius up together again. But Rose begged him to not to mention him infront of her ever again. And Albus never again did mention anything about Scorpius to Rose.

Rose, after all these, thought she got over from Malfoy. (It had been eight years already!) But when she saw him in the auror's head office, she couldn't stop feeling that she still loves him.
