"Honey, I can't tell you how to live your life—but you need to do something besides working yourself to death…"

She hated having these conversations with her mother. She'd focus her attention elsewhere, drowning out the sound of her mothers voice. It's bad enough I work with her, she thought to herself. What should I do tonight? I need to pick up my dry cleaning, go to the grocery store, maybe I'll order some takeout. Let's be real, I can't cook if my life depended on it—I'll have to order something. Gosh, my life is boring. Maybe my mother has a point here. No, I can't let her know she's right about this. I need a drink. She was pulled from her thoughts by her mothers voice once again.

"Alexandra, are you listening to me?"

"Yes mother, put myself out there, find someone who shares my passions, stop being so uptight, I'm getting older and need to settle down, no more late-night booty calls…" shit, did I just say that last part out loud?

"Alexandra Elizabeth, you are much to old for 'booty calls'!"

"I know mom, jeez."

Elizabeth Donnelly stood up and took a seat in the chair next to her daughter, grabbing both of her hands, "Baby, I just want you to be happy. You're a beautiful young lady, and I know there's a gorgeous woman waiting to meet you and share your dreams."

Alex broke down into tears. Why am I crying? This is so embarrassing, now she's going to think something is really wrong. God I need much more than a drink.

Elizabeth wrapped her arms around her daughter, "It's okay baby girl, mommy's here."

After her minor breakdown, Alex straightened herself up, putting her 'Ice Queen' persona back on and looked at her mother who was staring sympathetically at her. "Mom, I think I'm broken. I work non stop, and I keep it together here but then go home and cry. I'm so lonely, but one-night stands seem to be all I can handle." She met her mothers eyes, "Please don't judge me, mom."

"I was young and beautiful once too," she winked. "Before I met your father, I was a lot like you. Which is why I don't want to see you work yourself to death before finding true love, getting married, providing me with grandbabies…"

Alex cut her mother off, "Mom, I don't even have a girlfriend, I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself."

"Please be kinder to yourself, honey. You haven't actually given anyone the time of day. The walls are thin Lexie, and hearing your daughter get called the 'Ice Queen' or 'Ice Bitch' isn't very refreshing. You're far from, unless in the courtroom."

A knock on the office door startled both mother and daughter, "Come in."

Lena walked into Elizabeth's office, "Good evening ladies," she smiled, then saw tears slowly streaming down her 'nieces' face. "Lexie honey, what's wrong?"

Elizabeth Donnelly and Lena Petrovsky had been best friends since starting at the DA's office, much before either one settled down, got married and had children. Lena was Alex's godmother, and honorary Aunt—she was also the only one, besides Arthur Branch who knew Alex was Elizabeth's daughter. When Elizabeth married Alexander Cabot, she was already a known EADA in the office, and kept her last name. Johnathan Cabot, their first born child followed in his fathers footsteps and became a doctor, while little Lexie Cabot followed her mothers footsteps. Working as an ADA under Arthur Branch was a dream come true. She's known him all of her life due to her mother and Aunt Lena. By the time she started in the office, her mother was known to her as 'Your honor' only—except for when she's having a breakdown like this one. She'd always work late, and sometimes her mother did as well. During those times, she would go up to visit if she was having a bad day. In chambers, behind closed doors, Alexandra Cabot became little Lexie to her mother no matter what, even though she was 100% a daddy's girl.

Alex looked up at her aunt and cried some more, the tears she tried to keep at bay spilled out of her. "I—I'm, I think I'm broken."

Lena exchanged a look with Liz then tried to comfort her niece as Liz spoke, "She lonely—but I told her there's a beautiful woman out there for her who is waiting to meet my little girl."

"Absolutely honey, your mother is right. Don't be so hard on yourself, Lexie. You're the total package, successful, gorgeous, a great personality if you lose your courtroom attitude…"

Alex laughed lightly, "I got it from my mom," she said, before being pinched by her mother. "OW!"

"That's what you get, young lady!" Liz turned her attention to Lena, "What's up? Did you come in here for something in particular?"

"I was coming in to invite you for dinner seeing as Paul is out of town—Lexie you're invited as well."

"Thanks, but I'm going to go home. I'm exhausted and have an arraignment at 9 tmr morning, and some errands to run tonight."

"Are you sure baby?" Liz asked her daughter, worried about her emotional state. It had been a long time since Alex had a panic attack.

"Yeah mom, I'm fine. I'm sorry I got so emotional." Alex stood up as her mother did and hugged her, kissing her cheek, doing the same to her aunt and left the office. "I love you."

"We love you too sweetheart," Lena called out as she left. "Are you okay?"

"I'm just worried about her. I haven't seen her breakdown like that in at least a year," Liz frowned.

"You and Alexander raised her right, honey. She's going to be okay."

The two left the office to go grab some dinner as Alex went back to her own office to pack up for the day and go home. "I'm not running any errands, I need a relaxing night with wine and a bath," she said to herself.

The elevator doors were just closing and Alex called out, "Hold the door, please!"

She saw a briefcase stop the doors just in time, and as she stepped in, nearly lost all control. Smiling, seeing as she couldn't catch her breath to speak, her mouth became dry and her eyes wide trying to sneak glances at the beautiful woman in front of her.

"Long day?" the redhead asked, her deep husky voice sending sparks through Alex's body.

Trying to find her words, she nodded. "Y-yes. You?"

"You could say that," she smiled, looking at the blonde in front of her. The elevator stopped and the doors opened. "Have a good night, get some rest," the redhead said, before exiting the elevator and walking into the parking garage towards her car.

Alex stood there, almost paralyzed, "You too," she whispered as the doors closed again. Leaning back against the elevator wall, she cursed herself. "Stuttering, really? What the hell is wrong with you? Dammit the doors closed, how freaking stupid do I look right now talking to myself in an elevator that isn't even moving. God she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my entire life. I need to find out who she is. Fuck!"

The redhead didn't think much about the woman in the elevator—just another day at the office, another long, boring day followed by a brief encounter with a fellow female in the DA's office. But as she continued to drive home, she found herself starting to picture the woman. Her gorgeous blonde hair, breathtakingly beautiful blue eyes, dark framed glasses, adorably stuttering. I wonder who that was? Hmm. I've never actually seen her before, but that doesn't mean much.

ADA Casey Novak had been working white collar for the last six months—she wasn't completely new to the office as others had been hired since, but she was newer than most. Thinking about the encounter again, she began wondering what the blonde did in the office.

The two women both found themselves drinking wine, and taking baths before getting into bed for an early night drifting off to sleep thinking about the mystery elevator woman.

Alex was running out the door as her phone rang, "Cabot"

"Good morning princess, how's my baby girl?"

"Hi daddy, what's up? I'm about to drive into the office."

"I won't keep you long, I was hoping I could take you to lunch today if you're not too busy."

"Umm, I have court this morning but I should be done by 12:30. Is that okay?"

"I'll pick you up then princess. I love you."

"Love you too daddy."

After speaking with his wife the night before, Alexander Cabot was going to make sure his daughter was okay. Liz was never one to worry about things, but when it came to their daughters panic attacks, they were both concerned. Alex started having panic attacks at a young age, due to the fact the stressed herself out over everything. Type A personality, a little OCD, and a perfectionist, to put it lightly. If things didn't go exactly as planned, their daughter would completely breakdown. It was hard to watch, just like your child being sick, there's only so much you can do—but Alex worked with a therapist for a while, and has an emergency medication if need be. That being said, it had been a while since her last panic attack so when Alexander found out about the one she had the night before, he needed to see his daughter with his own eyes.

After a busy morning, Alex rushed into her office dropping all the folders she had in her hands onto her desk. She had just sat down when there was a knock on the door, "Come in."

"Hi princess!"

"Daddy, oh my god, it's 12:30 already?" she asked, walking up to her father and hugging him.

"I'm guessing you had a busy morning?" he laughed, kissing his daughters cheek.

"You have no idea, I just got back into my office. Where did you want to go to lunch?"

"I was thinking we could go get some Thai food, sound good?" Alexander asked. Seeing his daughter nod, he grabbed her coat to help her into it. They walked out of her office and down the hallway.

Just as they were approaching the elevators, Alex gasped seeing the redhead pass her. "You okay baby?"

She spun her head to watch the redhead pass by, and keep looking until she turned the corner and was out of sight then stepped onto the elevator. "Lexie, honey," he asked, looking to follow her light of sight. "Oh, seems as if you've spotted someone quite lovely, huh?" he teased.

Alex tipped her head back against the cold metal of the elevator and looked up at her father, "Daddy, this has never happened to me before."

"Being stopped in your tracks by a beautiful woman?"

"Daddy, it's—she's, I don't—I'm not even sure who she is. I saw her for the first time last night in the elevator and I couldn't even speak. I looked like an idiot staring at her, and stuttering as she spoke to me. I just, she's so—ugh!" she groaned.

"It's okay princess, maybe your mother knows who she is," he winked.

"It's not like I can just barge into her office and stutter my way through a conversation, I'll look like even more of an idiot than I already do."

Alexander and his daughter continued their conversation over lunch. He passed along some words of wisdom to his daughter, then they talked about life in general. Alex found herself feeling a little more confident coming back from lunch. Being two peas in a pod, her father always knew what to say, and how to make things better for her.

"I don't understand," Casey said, looking at her boss.

"Casey, you're one of the best ADA's I have, and you're needed in SVU as the case load is too much for one person. You'll be starting in two weeks—wrap up whatever cases you're working on, and the rest will be handed off within your unit. I've set up a little meet and greet with your new colleague for next Friday. You'll be working along side ADA Alexandra Cabot, who matches your conviction ratings. I think the two of you will work nicely together. You're both driven, hard-working, intelligent young ADA's with bright futures," Branch said.

"Sir, with all due respect, I love working in white collar."

"I'm well aware Casey, but SVU is where you belong. Your passion and dedication for your cases has shown through."

Knowing there was no way out of this, she sighed, "Thank you sir."

As she was walking out of the door, he called out to her, "Casey? I'll email you with your meeting time for next Friday. In the meantime, don't overwork yourself."

The following Monday, Branch was meeting with Cabot to let her know she was finally receiving another person for SVU. After months of asking, he finally made a decision, and knew she was going to be extremely excited to hear.

"Come in."

"Hi Sir," she greeted him, before closing the door. Although Branch was a family friend, Alex kept things professional at work.

"Alexandra, I have some wonderful news for you. I've found the perfect match for you to split your cases with."

Alex was stunned; she's been asking Branch for what seems like forever to hire someone else due to her mother constantly telling her she 'works too much', how she 'needed a life outside of work', etc. "That's great sir."

"I took the liberty of contacting your assistant, you'll be meeting with ADA Casey Novak this Friday at 2pm. She won't be starting until the 10th, wrapping up her own case load before transferring over to SVU from white collar, so don't overwhelm her. I thought you'd like to meet each other first, and go over some cases together. She's the most qualified person for the job, Alexandra. Conviction rate of 71%, which is the same as yours my dear. I think it will be a great match."

"I really appreciate this, sir. We won't let you down." And with that, Alex made her way back to her office.

Friday rolled around and Alex was busy in her office doing some paperwork. She completely forgot about her meeting until there was a knock on the door. "Come in"

Arthur Branch stepped into the doorway followed by the beautiful redhead who had filled her mind for the last week and a half. She gasped, and her mouth went dry looking into her beautiful emerald eyes.

"I wanted to come make the introductions myself. Alexandra, this is Casey Novak. Casey, this is Alexandra Cabot," he smiled.

Casey walked up to her holding out her hand and smiling, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Y-yeah…Alex," she stuttered. Seeing Casey's brow furrow, she shook her head, "Alex you can call me Alex. Nice to meet you as well."

Casey smiled then looked down at their hands, "Can I have my hand back?"

Alex mentally cursed herself, "Oh I'm so sorry, sorry. Umm thank you sir."

Branch watched Alex questioning his decision, but decided to overlook it for now. Oh this is a bad idea, he thought before excusing himself, "Let me know if you need anything," closing the door to leave the two women.

"Thank you sir," Casey said, turning around to meet his eyes before focusing back at the blonde in front of her. "May I sit down?"

"Oh yes, of course! Of course, please take a seat anywhere is fine. Can I get you anything? Coffee, tea, water, whiskey?"

Casey laughed, "I think it's a bit early for a drink, Alex. But I'd love some coffee, thank you."

"I'm so sorry, I don't know why I asked that. It's the middle of the work day." Alex walked over towards her coffee maker to pour them a cup. Silently cursing herself, she wasn't paying attention and spilled coffee. "Shit!"

Casey ran over to her, "Are you okay?" she questioned, lightly touching Alex's arm and reaching across to grab some napkins to clean up the coffee.

So lost by the placement of the redheads hand on her arm, Alex lost her train of thought completely. "Alex, are you okay? Did you burn yourself?"

"Umm, no. I'm sorry. I should have been paying better attention. You must think I'm a total klutz."

"Don't worry about it, accidents happen right?" Casey questioned, continuing to clean up as the blonde stood next to her. "I'm just glad you didn't burn yourself." She poured two cups then handed one to Alex, "Here you go. Let's go sit down."

Casey placed her hand on the blondes back and led her over to the desk. Hoping that she wasn't overstepping any boundaries, she felt it was the best option seeing as her new colleague seemed a bit out of it.

After a few awkward minutes, Alex heard her fathers voice telling her to be confident and proceeded to review a few cases with Casey getting her used to the work they did in SVU.

It was almost 3pm, and Casey needed to head back to her office but Alex didn't want her to go. Casey was almost at the door when she found her voice, "Would you like to have dinner with me?"

The redhead spun around, and Alex continued, "I mean, if you're not busy. I know it's a Friday and you probably already have plans. I'm sorry."

Casey walked back towards Alex's desk, "Stop apologizing, Alex. Dinner sounds lovely. I should be done around 7."

"Perfect, that's perfect! I can umm, I'll pick you up. Well, I guess being in the same building that isn't actually necessary so umm—"

Casey cut her off, "I'll meet you right here at 7." With a quick wink, Casey spun on her heels and walked out the door.

Alex let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in, "Uhh, that woman is going to be the death of me."

Casey was wrapping up for the day, thinking about the adorable blonde she was about to meet for dinner. She was excited to see her new colleague?, co-worker?, partner?, friend? She fixed her hair, put on some lipstick, and locked her office door.

A brief knock, "Come in"

"Hey," the redhead smiled, "How was the rest of your day?"

"I—uhh, it, it was good. How about you?"

"Busy, but it's over and a Friday," she smiled. Seeing as though the blonde was lost in a trance she continued to speak, "So, you wanna get out of here?"

Oh god, I wish she meant that in another way Alex thought, the pull between her legs was strong, and she shifted to get any sort of friction. "Y-yeah, I umm, did you want to take separate cars or I can drive us or if you want to take the lead, I mean wheel, if you wanted to drive behind the wheel, wanted to drive."

Casey smiled trying to hold back her laughter at the adorable woman in front of her, "I took a cab today, so I'll ride with you."

God she's so perfect, that beautiful red hair, gorgeous eyes, perfectly plump lips, I wish I could kiss them. Focus Alex, keep it in your pants.

"Great, let's go."

They were seated quickly at the restaurant, a chic little bistro up the way. They ordered a bottle of wine to split, and were waiting for their food to arrive while making small talk. Mostly about work, until Casey turned the tables. "So, tell me about yourself Alex."

She almost choked on her wine, "W-what?"

"Tell me about yourself. What do you like to do outside of work, who you spend time with, your friends, your family?"

"Oh umm, well I mostly work. I love to read, and I spend time with my family when I can. My mom, dad, and older brother Johnathan. He's three years older than me, and we're really close. He's my best friend, along with my friend Kim. We've been friends our whole lives. Umm, I'm pretty boring and need to put myself out there more I guess. What about you? I'm sure you have a lot more of a life."

Casey laughed a little, "Not as much as I'd like to these past six months, but that's to be expected when you start a new job. I love sports, watching and playing; I play on a softball team now actually and it's something I've missed. I spend a lot of time with my best friend Abbie and her wife Serena. My family doesn't live here, they live in Seattle. My parents haven't been the most supportive of my life choices, but my siblings support me. I have two older brothers, Owen and Jake. My brother Owen and his wife Amelia are both doctors, and they have my niece and nephew who are my whole world. My brother Jake is a bit of a free spirt, he's still trying to figure out his life but we still love him."

Alex was listening so intently, soaking up Casey's beautiful husky voice, and seeing her eyes light up when talking about sports and her brothers. I wonder what happened with her parents? Should I ask? Not yet, maybe it's a sore subject.

"Ladies, here are your entrees," the waiter interrupted. After thank you's were said, Alex turned back to Casey.

"I can tell how much your brothers mean to you by the twinkle in your eyes. My brother is a doctor as well, small world," she laughed.

"No way, very small world. You have the same sparkle," Casey winked.

"I uhh—umm my brother he always makes me smile. Growing up we always had each other, and even when he went through his 'I'm too cool for you stage', he was still there if I needed anything. Especially because…" Alex stopped mid sentence, I probably shouldn't tell her I'm some nut case who breaks down every now and then. I don't want her to run off and be afraid of me already.

"Especially because?" Casey questioned.

"Oh umm, we're both similar I guess. I mean, we're, he's just my best friend. Ya know?"

"You're so adorable when you stutter," Casey smiled.

Alex blushed and looked down to hide her face, but Casey reached over and put her hand over Alex's. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about."

They finished up dinner, Casey swooping in the pay the check before Alex could process what happened and before they knew it, both women were walking out of the restaurant.

"Can I drive you home?"

"I don't want you to have to go out of your way, I'll take a cab. I had a really nice time tonight," Casey said, then kissed Alex's cheek. "Goodnight Alex."

"G-goodnight." Alex watched Casey hail a cab, hop in and drive off all while standing outside the restaurant, her hand holding over the cheek Casey kissed. "Oh shit, I'm a goner!"

Pulling her phone out of her purse, Alex called the only person who could possibly help.

"Hey princess."

"Daddy?"

"Lexie what's wrong? Are you okay?" Alexander frantically asked. In the background Alex heard her mother questioning if she was okay. "Alexander! Is my baby girl okay? Is she having another panic attack? Do we need to go get her?"

"Lexie baby? Where are you?"

"I—daddy, I—I'm okay, can I come over?"

"You never need to ask. Do I need to come pick you up? Are you safe to drive?"

"Yeah, I'll be there soon."

Twenty minutes later Alexander ran down the steps of their brownstone and towards his daughters car, "Princess? What's going on?" He asked, helping her out of the car and holding her close.

"I'm okay daddy. Can we go on a drive and talk?"

"Of course baby." He walked his daughter over to the passenger side and made sure she was in safely before hopping in the front seat beside her. "Tell me what's on your mind."

"When you met mom, was it love at first sight?"

"Princess you already know I fell hard for your mother. She took my breath away from the moment I first laid eyes on her. Even though she didn't feel the same way at first," he laughed. "Is this about the redhead I saw in your office the other day?"

"Yeah. I umm, we had dinner tonight. She's the woman who's being transferred to SVU with me. I feel so overwhelmed—it's, she—Branch came in and introduced us, I made a complete fool of myself. Not only did she have to ask for her hand back when I shook it, but then I spilt coffee all over the place and she cleaned it up while I stood frozen because she had her hand on my arm. I didn't want her to leave after our meeting, so I asked her to go out for dinner. It felt perfect being out together, she's perfect Daddy. But I kept making a fool of myself—why would she even be interested in someone who can't form a sentence? Not only that, I asked her for dinner and I was so mesmerized by her that when the check came, she paid for it. Then we were on the sidewalk saying goodnight and she kissed my cheek but I couldn't even say anything to her because it was just too perfect. Daddy, I'm a mess. I've never been more embarrassed in my entire life."

"Breathe baby girl, in and out. You need to calm down, you're getting yourself worked up." Alexander pulled the car over and focused on his daughters breathing. Once it became steady again he continued. "Lexie, you have so much to offer. I know you like for everything to be perfect, but it doesn't always work that way. We know this, right?" Alex nodded. "So you made a fool of yourself, who cares? Clearly you made a good impression because she agreed to dinner. You can't be so hard on yourself princess."

"I just, she probably only sees me as a friend. She's probably straight anyways. Uhh," Alex groaned, then her phone buzzed.

Did you make it home safely? I'm sorry I let you drive after drinking, I shouldn't have been so careless. I had a wonderful night, hope we can do it again sometime ;)

"Lexie?" Alexander asked, seeing his daughters eyes light up and a big smile on her face.

She turned and hugged him, "You were right daddy!"

"Are you going to tell me what this beautiful woman said?"

Alex showed her father the text message, "What should I say? I feel like a teenager again staring at my phone trying to come up with the best response."

Her father laughed, "Say whatever feels right princess."

I made it safely, takes more than two glasses of wine. Ha-ha. I had an amazing night Case, next time dinner is on me considering I'm the one who asked you out :p

Alex laid in bed after her father drove her home, and silently said a prayer she didn't come off to flirty. Case? Really…already have a nickname for the girl capturing my mind. Fuck!

Two hours and 46 minutes after Alex's text to Casey, she was contemplating texting her again when her screen lit up.

I'm looking forward to it. Sweet dreams.

Sweet dreams.

A week later, Casey found herself unpacking into her new office that happened to be directly across from Alex's. She wasn't sure where the blonde was on this Friday afternoon, maybe in a meeting, or at the station. She didn't think Alex had court today, but who knows. A knock on her door pulled her from her thoughts.

Alex found herself lost in thought watching Casey unpack her things. "Hey you," Casey said.

"H-hi. I umm, do you need any help?"

"I'm about finished, thank you though. How's your day been?"

"Good, it was good. How about you? Are you finished with white collar?"

"Yes, I'm all yours now."

Alex almost choked on her own saliva. Mine, god I wish you were mine. I could imagine late night walks holding hands in Central Park, ordering takeout and snuggling on the couch, movie nights, kissing those lips. My god those lips.

"Alex?"

"Huh?" She shook her head, trying to clear her mind of the wonderful fantasies of a future together.

"I asked if you had dinner plans?"

"Oh. No, I don't."

"Would you like to go out to dinner with me?" Casey asked, her emerald eyes sparkling.

"I—I'd love to. I'll go get my stuff, just give me a minute and then—"

"Alex, it's only 3:15. It's very cute you're so eager, but it's a bit early for dinner," the redhead laughed.

"Oh gosh," Alex covered her face with her hands. "This is so embarrassing. I'm sorry." She started to hyperventilate, panicking.

Casey walked closer to Alex, removing her hands then placing her own hands on Alex's shoulders. "Relax, honey. Take a deep breath. It's okay." Casey rubbed her hands up and down Alex's harms trying to soothe her. "You okay?"

Alex nodded. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Nothing is wrong with you honey. Are you sure you're okay? Come sit down and I'll get you some water."

She led the blonde over to the couch, then got her some water as she sat down next to her while rubbing her back.

"I—umm, I'm okay. Thank you. I should probably get back to my office and finish some work so I don't have to take much home this weekend. Thank you for the water."

"Do you still want to get dinner tonight?" Casey asked, hopefully.

"Absolutely. 6:30 okay?"

"See you then counsellor."

Two weeks, numerous dinner dates, lunch meetings, and cases won, Alex was feeling on top of the world: until she wasn't.

She and Casey worked extremely well together, not only on a professional level, but personal as well. Casey surprised Alex with coffees in the morning, and they had lunch together everyday. They went on multiple 'dates' although Alex wasn't sure if they were actually dates, or dinners. She hoped they were dates, but ever since the first dinner they had together, there wasn't another kiss on the cheek. Maybe Casey thought it was the right thing to do, being polite, or maybe she wasn't interested in her that way. Alex spoke to her father about it, and he said 'these things take time baby girl' but she didn't want to wait. Alex wanted Casey, plain and simple.

This particular Friday, Alex was not having a good day. Casey had been in court for most of the day, which meant they didn't get to have lunch together, and she felt her anxiety building. Before she knew it, Alex was curled up next to her desk rocking back and forth as tears streamed down her face.

Casey came back from court, smiling and extremely happy. She knew the jurors were going to find the defendant guilty, and she was excited that Alex was coming over for dinner. Knocking on Alex's door, she didn't get a response, but she heard whimpers. After a minute, she opened the door finding the blonde in hysterics. She quickly closed and locked the door to prevent anyone from witnessing the breakdown, and ran over, kneeling next to her.

"Alex sweetie, what's wrong? Honey it's Casey," she said, seeing that she wasn't getting any response, Casey pulled Alex against her chest slowly rocking her. "Shh, shh, shh, it's okay sweetie. You're okay. Lex, it's Casey, you're okay."

Alex heard Casey's voice, and felt her arms wrapped around her own body. She was leaning against Casey's body, her head against the redheads chest. She felt Casey give her a kiss on the side of her head and completely melted.

"Lex?" Casey asked as the blonde settled. "What happened sweetie?"

"I—I ha—I have, sometimes I get panic, panic attacks. I'm sorry."

"You don't have anything to be sorry about, do you hear me?" Alex nodded against her chest, and Casey kissed her head again. "It's okay, sweetie. You're okay. I'm here."

Alex didn't want to move, being curled up in the redheads arms she felt so safe and secure, but she slowly picked up her head to look Casey in the eyes. Those beautiful emerald eyes, she could read them like a book. Casey tucked a strand of hair behind Alex's ear and then cupped her face gently. Alex leaned into the touch, closing her eyes briefly then opened them again. She looked from Casey's eyes down to her lips, then moved closer until they could feel the hot breath of each others mouths. She closed the distance, gently kissing the plump lips in front of her. It was electrifying, a kiss of passion, lust, compassion, love?

Casey didn't respond at first, stunned by the contact before her mind caught up. Gently moving her hand into Alex's blonde locks, gripping the back of her head as Alex licked her bottom lip requesting access in which she granted. Alex's moan sent a rush through her body, as did the hand pressing against her chest, dangerously close to her breast.

When the need for air became too great, Casey pulled back and smiled at Alex who still had her eyes closed.

"Wow" Alex whispered.

"Wow indeed," Casey husked back. "You're so beautiful Lex," she said, stroking her cheek gently.

Alex blushed the color of Casey's hair, "You-you're you are so perfect." Alex said, as a tear fell down her face.

Casey brushed it away with her thumb. "Hey, it's okay sweetie." She kissed the tears away as they continued to fall, then placed another kiss on Alex's lips.

"I'm so sorry."

"Why?"

"I'm sitting on the floor, practically in your lap and crying after you walked in on me having a panic attack, then I turn around, basically feel you up and kiss you."

Casey lifted Alex up into her lap completely, brushing away the final tears, and kissed her again. "I don't mind two of the three," she winked. "I don't want to see you upset sweetie, but I'll always comfort you. As for being in my lap, and kissing me—feel free."

"Why are you so perfect?"

"I'm far from, my love. But thank you for seeing past all my flaws."

Alex leaned forward capturing Casey's lips again, moaning as their tongues battled for dominance. Casey pulled back and searched into those beautiful blue eyes, "Are you okay?"

Alex nodded, "Thanks to you. How did your case go?"

"Good, really good actually. He'll be going away for a long time."

The blonde captured the redheads lips again, "Mmm, are you done for the day?"

"I am, I was going to go home and get dinner started for us."

Alex nearly cried again, I hope one day we'll be going home together. I could get used to watching this beautiful woman cook as I sip wine and stare at her body. "Perfect." Alex kissed Casey again, "I should probably get off your lap now, even though I don't actually want to."

Casey laughed, not just a little laugh, but a full-blown belly laugh then grabbed the back of Alex's head and crashed their lips together. "You always have a seat on me, baby," she winked.

"Can I bring anything tonight?"

"Just your cute little self," Casey said, helping Alex stand, then standing up herself. With one last kiss, she said her goodbyes walked out the door.

Alex stood outside Casey's penthouse with wide eyes. Holy crap this is a beautiful place, how the hell does she afford this? My god! The doorman came outside to hold it open for Alex, "Can I help you miss?"

"Umm, I—I'm here for Casey Novak."

"Oh Miss Cabot, welcome. My name is Charles, lovely evening don't you think? Miss Novak is expecting you, I'll let her know you're here."

"Thank you Charles." Wow, the service here is incredible.

"Have a wonderful night, Miss Cabot," he winked as the elevator doors closed. She was just about to call out to him and ask what floor then realized the button was already pressed for her.

Stepping out of the elevator she was about to text Casey and ask which door was hers, when one swung open. "Hey gorgeous," the redhead called out. Alex's mouth went dry, Casey changed into a skin tight pair of jeans, and a dark green low cut V neck that showed the ample cleavage, and brought out her eyes.

Casey reached out and pulled Alex into her, kissing her passionately. "Come on in." She led Alex into her penthouse, closing the door behind them. She slowly stripped Alex of her coat, hung it up, then took the blondes hand and led her into the living room. She had light music playing, candles lit, and whatever was cooking smelt delicious. Alex was looking around, taking everything in. "This place is beautiful, Casey."

"Thank you, feel free to look around. I'm going to go check on dinner, can I get you something to drink? There's a fully stocked bar, and the wine cooler is full as well."

Alex stood there with her jaw open. "Close your mouth baby, you're going to catch a fly," Casey laughed.

"I—sorry. I'll have—you, I mean, whatever you're having is great."

Casey walked closer, pressing a kiss to Alex's cheek, "If you're a good girl, you can have me later," Casey husked into her ear. "I'll be right back. Make yourself at home." She spun on her heels and disappeared into the kitchen.

Alex felt like she was spinning, she was so turned on. Maybe we can skip dinner and I can eat Casey instead. Casey walked back into the living room with two glasses of wine. "Thank you."

"Absolutely. Dinner will be ready soon."

After the couple ate, Casey started doing the dishes while Alex picked out a movie to watch. Casey brought in another bottle of wine and sat down next to Alex on the couch, "Did you find something you want to watch?"

"Umm, I don't really care what we watch to be honest. Or we don't have to watch anything at all?" Alex suggested, flirting a bit.

Casey took Alex's wine glass from her hand, and placed it on the coffee table before turning back towards the blonde and pulling her close. She ran her fingers gently over Alex's cheek, Casey grinned softly, her hand remaining on her cheek as she brought her lips to Alex's. Alex moaned into the kiss, her lips moving with ease against Casey's. Alex's arms wrapped around Casey's neck as Casey pulled Alex closer wrapping her arms around the blonde's small waist. Alex's hands grasped at Casey's top, whining, needing more. Casey finally broke the kiss, both women panting.

"I want you Casey," Alex husked.

Casey lifted Alex up so the blonde was straddling her lap, slowly removing Alex's top, and gasping at the bra clad attorney in front of her. "My god, you're so beautiful." Casey captured Alex's lips again, as she moved her hands to the blondes hips, slowly rubbing the sides of her body. Alex moaned into Casey's mouth, as Casey unhooked her bra. She lowered her lips to take the blondes nipple into her mouth, swirling her tongue around the bud.

"Oh god," Alex husked, holding the back of Casey's head in place. She cupped Casey's breasts over her shirt; wanting to feel more, she reached down to the hem of the redheads shirt and lifted it over her head. "Oh fuck your perfect."

Alex was just about to take off Casey's bra when she was lifted in the air as the redhead stood. Instinctively she wrapped her legs around Casey's waist while kissing down her neck, sucking on her pulse point as Casey carried her into what she could only assume was the bedroom.

"I don't want our first time to be rushed, or on the couch. You deserve to be treated like the princess you are, beautiful."

Alex looked into Casey's eyes, seeing the truth in them, along with the passion, and love—it was so overwhelming to her, and tears welled in her eyes. "Oh baby, don't cry. Do you not want this?" Casey was worried she pushed Alex too far, maybe she didn't want to have sex just yet. That thought alone terrified Casey, not because of the sex, but because she may have forced Alex into something she didn't want.

Alex shook her head, "No, I want this. I want you. I'm sorry, I don't mean to cry, you're just so perfect. The fact you want our first time to be special, and comfortable, no one has ever made me feel so safe, beautiful, and worshipped all at the same time."

"I will keep you safe beautiful, and worship you for as long as you'll let me, Lex. Are you sure you're okay with this?" Alex nodded, and conveyed her response more accurately with a passionate kiss.

"Make love to me, baby."

All resolve snapped, and Casey couldn't hold back the moan that escaped her. "Fuck," she whispered before placing Alex gently on the bed, laying her down so she was comfortable. Casey skillfully unbuttoned Alex's jeans and pulled them down her long legs, then climbed on top of her crashing their lips together.

Alex reached around Casey and unclipped her bra, gasping when she sat up still straddling her and let it fall. Her mouth went dry looking up at Casey's naked chest, and then pulled the redhead back down on top of her. Alex wanted nothing more than to feel Casey's skin, but the redhead was still wearing her jeans, "Stop."

Casey stopped sucking on Alex's pulse point and sat up quickly, "I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you? Do you not feel comfortable baby?"

Alex was taken back by Casey's reflexes and the concern in her eyes, "No, I'm sorry. I—I want to feel your skin, and I can't take your jeans off when you're straddling me," Alex blushed at her statement.

Casey smiled and leaned down to capture Alex's lips before standing up. She slowly unbuttoned her jeans, pulling them down while staring into her lovers blue eyes. Alex growled, god did she want the redhead. Her perfect body was better than she dreamt, gah! Casey took off her own panties exposing her perfect bare sex, then stripped Alex of hers as well. Casey saw her glistening folds and as much as she would have liked to pounce, she wanted to treat Alex like her princess.

She slowly climbed back onto the bed, and straddled Alex again, her own wet bare sex pressed against the blondes. Alex gasped feeling the redheads heat, and wet pussy on hers. "Oh fuck, that's so much better baby."

Casey smiled, and kissed her again. She slowly rocked her hips as the blonde bucked her own hips up, moaning. Casey kissed her way down the blonde, swirling her tongue around the blondes nipples again, as her hand snuck between them and through her wet folds. "You're so wet for me," Casey husked. Slinking down the blonde she moved between her legs, exposing the blondes perfect sex. Her tongue took the first swipe through the slick folds and she moaned at the taste as Alex bucked her hips.

"Oh god," Alex screamed, her hand finding it's way into Casey's red hair and holding her in place as her other hand played with her own nipple.

Casey licked and sucked at the blondes clit, loving each and every sound coming from her lover. "Fuck baby, I want you inside me," Alex said. Casey brought her hand up and slid two fingers into the blonde. "Just like that, harder, faster, please."

Hearing the blonde plead nearly made Casey cum right then and there. She moaned against Alex's clit as she sucked, and thrust her fingers in and out of the blonde. "Cum for me baby."

Those four words sent Alex over the edge, and she came long and hard, "C-A-S-E-YYYYYYY" she screamed. "Oh my god baby," she breathed out, "Fuck!"

Casey smiled and placed another kiss on her exposed clit before kissing her way up the blonde's body. "Mmm, you taste so good," Casey said, sucking on her cum covered fingers.

Alex growled, pulling Casey down on top of herself crashing their lips together. She slinked her hand between them, sliding two fingers into Casey's wet folds. "Mmm, ride my fingers baby."

Casey began panting, riding Alex's fingers as her head flew back, "Oh god, right there, yeah, yeah oh fuck."

"Come on baby, cum for me."

Casey came with a loud scream, and collapsed on top of the blonde. The two spent the next few hours making sweet love, before curling up under the covers together.
