"SHE WHAT?"

Harper started to fuss so Alex took her from Casey's lap to soothe her, and Charlotte started to cry at Casey's outburst causing the redhead to feel absolutely terrible; Casey immediately said, "I need to call you back," and hung up the phone. She pulled Charlotte into her lap starting to rock her back and forth.

"Momma's so sorry she scared you, baby," Casey continued rocking the little girl trying to keep her tears at bay—this had been the worst day of her life, scaring her own child, it was her fault that Charlotte was scared. Her fault that Cassidy came to Charlotte's safe place. Her fault that Charlotte ever had any doubt that Casey didn't love her—that Casey was going to…die. God what have I done? I had to put my had over my child's mouth and run her up the stairs and hide her in the closet like she was nothing…I am no better than her birth parents. That thought sent shivers down her spine and she couldn't stop the tears from spilling out of her. "I'm so sorry baby girl, momma love you so much. I love you so, so much baby. So much. I love you so much," Casey kept repeating," rocking her, while squeezing the little girls body.

"Momma too tight."

Alex was watching the scene unfold and had no idea what was happening—she had soothed Harper quickly, as did Casey with Charlotte considering neither child was actually upset they just weren't expecting anyone to scream over the phone so suddenly, so they were both startled more than anything; after the morning everyone had, and the lack of sleep, it was more of a little fussing, but for Casey—she wasn't okay, at all.

"I'm sorry baby," Casey loosened her grip right away and turned her around so they were chest to chest and her little legs were now over the redheads lap.

"Momma no cwy," Charlotte said trying her best to wipe Casey's tears away. "It otay momma, me wuv oo too."

That just fueled Casey to cry even more, as did Charlotte placing a nice slobber kiss to Casey's lips. "I love you so much baby. You'll never know how much I love you." Casey said, giving her a big hug. Charlotte fell into her arms as she rubbed the little girls back. They stayed like that for a so long that Casey heard Charlotte's breathing even out and realized she had fallen asleep. Casey tried to peek back to make sure, but the way they were positioned, it was too difficult to see—Charlotte was curled up in her neck. Alex was still sitting on the edge of the bed with Harper watching her wife; she was worried to say the least—she has no idea what went on in their house today, and if she was honest with herself, part of her didn't know if she wanted to.

Alex stood up and put Harper in her bassinette then gave Casey a kiss, "I'm going to go downstairs to see what it looks like down there—and let my parents know everyone is okay. Then we can maybe talk a little if you're up to it while the babies get some sleep."

"I'm so sorry, Lex."

Alex tipped Casey's chin up so green bore into blue, "There is nothing to apologize for, babe. I love you." Casey watched as Alex got up off the bed and disappeared out of their bedroom. She looked down at Charlotte and kissed the top of her head. "I love you so much, baby girl. I'm so sorry. I'll make this right." Knowing Alex would be coming back, she grabbed her phone and sent a quick text.

I can't explain things right now, I need to talk to Lex first but somehow Cassidy not only got into my house with a gun, tried to kill me, and take my girls, but then escaped custody. She's on the run. 71 plan.

The Novak 71 plan had been in place since Casey moved in with Owen—essentially, if anything were to ever go wrong and their lives were even in immediate danger, the 71 plan, or plan 71 meant that they were armed, and ready to fight no if's ands or buts. Casey was always against violence, but the 71 plan vetoed the violence rule because her own life was in danger; right now, she didn't care about her own life but more of the life of the lives of her wife and children. She knew the squad, along with knowing Cragen all the cops in the city were looking for Cassidy because of the power she held were looking for her. And with one call from Owen, there would be cops from neighboring burrows out there looking for her as well. There would also be officers put on their house to protect them. The hard part would be telling Alex that Cassidy escaped—but there would be no way she could actually get into their place ever again. Casey decided to bite the bullet while she could and shifted Charlotte off her, putting her in the middle of the bed, turning on the baby monitor so she could hear both babies and went downstairs to face all of them at once.

"Babe, I was just come back upstairs," Alex said, coming to greet Casey. "What's wrong?"

Casey attempted to smile but couldn't, "Why don't we all sit down, Lex."

Alex blocked Casey from walking any further into the living room, "But don't you want to talk without my parents…"

"Honey, I do—and I'll tell you what happened earlier alone, but there's something else that's going on they should know about and it's more pressing."

Alex could see the fear in Casey's eyes; it's not something she sees in her wife's eyes very often so she immediately started to worry. Then she wrapped her arms around Casey's waist and felt the gun in her wife's waistband, "Case…"

"I know, 71 plan," Casey whispered, her arms supporting Alex's body as the blondes knees buckled and tears spilled down her face. Alex knew about the plan from when Casey told her about her childhood. They shared everything with each other. Casey didn't ever want to hold back from the blonde, so she told her about every plan she had in place to protect her and their family in an emergency. It was an easy number to remember—both of their favorite numbers being 7.

Alexander and Liz had already sat down on the couch but didn't know what was going on—Alexander stood up seeing his daughter nearly fell down; Casey caught her, but she practically fell too—both women were weak right now. He went over to both of them to help them over to the couch. "Come on girls, let's sit down."

Once they were seated, Alex basically sitting in Casey's lap, Alexander back next to Liz—Casey started to speak. "I want to tell you everything that happened, but right now—what you need to know is that Cassidy has somehow escaped police custody for trying to murder me, and kidnap our girls."

"OH THE HELL SHE DIDN'T! WHO THE HELL—" Alexander said, clenching his fists, sitting on the edge of the couch. Liz pulled him by back putting her hand in the middle of his chest.

"Getting angry isn't going to do any good, can't you see the girls are devastated. They've been through enough. For god sakes, Alexander. Look at them!" Liz scolded.

"This is all my fault, it's all my fault. If I hadn't been upstairs, I could have—" Casey started to say.

"No!" Alex stopped her, literally putting her hand over Casey's mouth. She didn't know what happened yet, but if Casey had out her gun, she knew that Cassidy must have had one too and there wouldn't have been anything her wife could have done to protect Charlotte had she not have been upstairs first. "Stop! I don't want to hear it. You protected our girls, and they are safe because of you. We are safe."

Casey knew that deep down she would have never won bringing a knife to a gun fight—but she will always feel the guilt of Cassidy's words to Charlotte. Granted the little girl won't remember them, but Casey will, and that's something that will always haunt her. "I know—I'm sorry. So umm, 71—" Casey said, and Alex nodded.

Liz looked at them, "71?"

"It's a plan Owen and I put in place when the abuse got really bad—it sounds really awful, but umm…you both know I'm completely against violence?" She waited until they both nodded. "Plan 71 meant my life was in imitate danger and Owen and I would do anything to stay safe even…" she trailed off hoping they understood.

"Casey, I save lives for a living, live with an office of the court, have two daughters who are officers of the court, and a son who saves lives as well—but so help me god if I come across that woman first…" Alexander said clenching his fists again.

"Alright dear, that's enough out of you," Liz said, settling him down. "Honey, we know you're against violence, and anything you'd ever do would be in self-defense. As all of us would, besides my husband, that is," Liz said, looking at Alexander who was still having a hard time controlling his rage, "Is Owen flying here?"

"Yes—he is on his way. But with our connections, the FBI will already on the hunt as well we have a close family friend and I need to protect my family." Casey said, wrapping her arms tighter around Alex's waist. "I'm so sorry to drag you into this."

"There will be none of that," Liz said, shaking her head. "Do you hear me?" The woman stood up and walked over to both Casey and Alex to place a kiss to both of their foreheads then went into the kitchen to make everyone some tea. Nobody needed coffee right now.

At the precinct all hell was breaking loose: Cragen didn't like the fact that the brass had sent over a transfer a month back—Nick Amaro. He was an arrogant prick who didn't work well with the unit—nobody liked the guy, constantly wanting to prove he was better than everyone else, and that didn't do any good with the way they worked in SVU. Especially with the Novak case. He didn't know the Novak family at all, seeing as he had only been there a little over a month, and one of the other detectives always went to their offices to get a warrant or deliver any paperwork. So when he was the one who escorted Cassidy to the bathroom, he was in return 'responsible' for her escape. Of course Cragen knew Cassidy had help from someone on the outside to escape, but Nick never should have escorted Cassidy to the bathroom alone—he should have asked AT LEAST one other person if not two.

"SON OF A BITCH! Do you know what you have done?" Cragen shouted.

"Captain I—"

"NO! Don't Captain me Amaro. You're so busy trying to prove yourself to everyone here that you're the best, well guess what? YOU'RE NOT! And now, we have an escaped prisoner on YOU'RE HANDS! She not only tried to murder OUR ADA, but kidnap her two little babies—who are also the babies and wife of our fellow ADA." Cragen screamed.

Amaro knew he fucked up and now the entire precinct knew how badly he fucked up as well because Cragen was screaming at him with his door wide open. Fin, Munch, Elliot, and Rollins were all watching the scene unfold and clenching their fists wanting to give the pompous ass a beat down of their own. This fucking idiot let Cassidy get away, and now the Novak family is in danger: again.

Emily had gone home after giving her statement and grabbed a bottle of bourbon—she was just about to grab a glass when she heard a phone went off. Here is it: Hey Emily, the perfect job with the perfect kids, perfect friends, perfect hours, perfect location, perfect everything is now over because you just had to go to the doctor! "FUCK!" she screamed to herself out loud before pulling her phone out of her pocket. She took a deep breath, turned around and sunk to the floor against the kitchen cabinets so she was now sitting on the floor.

Emily, you saved my life, and the girls lives. You aren't going anywhere! I won't be going to work tomorrow, but we will definitely be seeing you Monday. However, I'd like to get together this weekend; just need to talk to Alex to see time/date if you're available. Thank you Em. I mean it. Thank you.

Emily read the message at least ten times to make sure she wasn't imagining things; Casey and Alex weren't firing her? Then she saw there was another text message: Yes, Alex said the same thing too so stop second guessing it. Talk soon, get some rest.

She laughed at that, because she was definitely starting to second guess the first message thinking that maybe Casey had sent the message without talking to Alex and maybe the blonde wouldn't want her there even if Casey did. Well, that does make me feel much better. She didn't even realize she was crying, but she was—nor did she hear someone enter her apartment. Jennifer, or JJ which she preferred to be called (except for with Emily) had rushed over to her girlfriends place after a swarm of police presence at the DA's office. She had become friendly with the squad, and Elliot told her to go home for the day and not even bother to call the women, they'd give her the rest of the week off anyways. She questioned it at first, but he said Emily would explain things better so she headed over there right away. JJ found Emily curled up, her arms wrapped around herself sitting on the floor in the kitchen crying, "Em, baby—" JJ approached the brunette carefully, pulling the brunette into her own body as she sat down.

"Honey, I'm here. Can you talk to me baby?" JJ brushed a strand of hair out of Emily's face and tucked it behind her ear.

Emily sank into JJ's embrace, "Jen?"

"Yeah baby, it's me," JJ said, as she opened her arms to switch their positions, letting Emily wrap her arms around JJ's body.

"Oh god, Jen—I never should have—I can't believe I, why did I?"

JJ didn't really know what was going on; she knew there was some type of disturbance at the Novak's residence, but nothing more than that. She also didn't know why Emily was home so early, and why Alex left work so early that day—however, sometimes Alex goes to the precinct without warning, so she could have been there as well without her knowing.

After calming her girlfriend down, JJ was able to move Emily over to the couch and the brunette told her what happened. Or at least the parts she knew about. There were so many missing pieces to the puzzle that they were tying to figure out—who Cassidy was working with, if it was one person or two. How she got past Charles. How she got in the door. Why she thought Emily and Casey were sleeping together.

"She thought you and Casey…?" JJ burst out laughing and Emily didn't know what to make of her girlfriends reaction. "Sleeping together? Like having sex? YOU…and Casey? How insane is this woman?" JJ continued to laugh. "Casey and Alex are our best friends, oh my god that's the best thing I've ever heard. I mean they are fucking hot, but my god, I think of them like our older sisters."

Emily thought about what her girlfriend was saying, and it was true—Casey and Alex were their best friends, actually, they were Emily's only friends (besides all the friends that they had introduced her to) but the brunette was older than both of them, "Technically I'm older than all three of you, so they would be my younger sisters, but yes. I agree," Emily laughed. "Cassidy is insane. And for the record, I am only sleeping with you."

"I am well aware, babe." JJ said, solidifying it with a kiss.

After Casey called Cassidy when she told her she was pregnant—she started to wonder, was everything she said true? Was her Cassandra really that successful? Did she really make a name for herself without using THE Novak name? No, nobody can do that. It isn't possible. She shook her head of the thought. But curiosity got the best of her—and eventually, she decided to have a PI start to follow her. Cassidy found out everything there was to know about Cassandra Isabel Novak—HER little girl. The baby she never wanted, the girl she paid absolutely no attention to her entire life suddenly became the center of her attention. She was completely obsessed with her—and that made Cassidy so mad. So, she devised the perfect plan; take Cassandra's life for herself. No, not her entire life because she would never live her life in sin—but she would get rid of Cassandra and leave the little blonde to go off to wither away with her own parents and steal the children. In a crazy person's brain that is Cassidy's, it all made perfect sense. The PI they hired wasn't your average PI, it was one of their own FBI buddies who went rouge. He had forged a badge for Cassidy to use, along with make a key for her to gain access into the woman's penthouse. Well, it wasn't specifically for their penthouse, it could get in anywhere—he also was the getaway driver that doubled as a working FBI agent. Cassidy thought she had it all worked out.

"Cassandra is still alive and I don't have those bastard children yet; I just had to spend way too long in a disgusting police station because this incompetent moron you hired doesn't know how to do his job—so no, the deed isn't done. Tell me why I always need to clean up your work again?"

"Cassidy my love, you're the woman of the house. You kill the bitch, bring me those angels and I'll pay you for your troubles. I love you."

Liz could tell the women needed to speak privately, and asked her wound up husband to come 'help' her make some tea. "I'm so sorry, Lex. And I know—I never would have won a gun fight with a knife but what she said to Charlotte…" Casey started to cry and Alex's heart hurt for her wife. Alex knew their little girl wouldn't remember the words Cassidy spoke to her, she just a baby—but Casey will.

"Honey, Charlotte won't remember what that bitch said to her—you saved her, even though I don't know what happened yet, I know you protected her. I just know you did because that's who you are." Alex watched as Casey nodded in agreement.

"I—I don't remember what I already told you," Casey laughed, wiping her eyes. "I changed my shirt, and heard Charlotte talking, that's where I was right?" She looked up and met Alex's eyes looking for recognition, and when she saw it, Casey continued. "I heard Charlotte say, 'no momma loves me' and my heart broke thinking who the hell was she trying to convince I loved her?"

Casey wiped more tears away and Alex was trying to hold it together for her wife—"Then I heard Cassidy's voice telling our daughter how I'm a sinner, that I don't love her, how Cassidy is going to take Charlotte to live with her—then she, she told our baby she was going to kill me." Casey took a deep breath trying to compose herself. "I'm not sure if Charlotte understood what was going on, I ran to get my gun putting Harper's bassinette in our closet and grabbed Charlotte's noise cancelling headphones then I went downstairs. Cassidy was searching around and Charlotte was still at the island so I ran and scooped her up, god I felt awful Lex—I didn't want her to scream so I covered her mouth with her hand." Casey was practically hyperventilating herself now, but Alex knew she had to get everything out so she let her.

"I told her how much I loved her, that I was going to keep her save and protect her from the scary lady—I put on a movie for her with the headphones making sure she couldn't hear anything that might happen, and shut the closet door making sure the light was on but they were hidden by clothes too, curled up in the corner. Then I went in search of the bitch. I was trying to stall knowing Emily would be here any minute, and she would be the element of surprise, but also had tactical training but I had my gun ready. I didn't want to use it, although I would of course. I'd never let anything happen to our family. After Cassidy threatened my life to my face, then told me she was taking the girls I told her that would be pre-mediated murder and federal kidnapping, she drew her weapon, as did I. Then she told me to prepare to die—we were both getting ready to shoot at each other then the door slammed open and Emily tackled her to the ground. Apparently she had heard Cassidy tell me how she was going to kill me, take the girls and had already called the police—then told me to go upstairs to the girls. I didn't think twice about running up to make sure they were okay."

"Babe, you saved our babies—if you had been downstairs, we wouldn't be sitting on the couch right now, and our babies wouldn't be upstairs sleeping," Alex shivered at the thought. Today could have ended so much differently. She would have come home from work to find her wife dead, and her girls missing. Instead, she came home to a huge police presence protecting the people she cares about most, and her family cuddled in bed together.

Casey just continued to cry, when her wife put it that way, it does make a big difference in her mind, but what Cassidy said to her daughter still hurt. It's going to take time to heal, and Cassidy is still out there, and she knows Chase is a part of this too. "They need to be caught, Lex." She said, knowing Chase had a role in this too.

"They will be, babe. You've never let our family down before," Alex said, capturing Casey's lips. "I love you so much."

"I love YOU so much, beautiful."

Alexander and Liz were watching their daughters interact from the kitchen island in awe—both of them were worried, Alexander was still fueled with anger, but somehow Casey and Alex could turn even the worst of situations into something beautiful. Everyone was pulled from their own thoughts with cries over the baby monitor: both babies were awake, and Charlotte was trying to comfort her baby sister. They all heard: 'It otay Hapa, no cwy'.

Owen said goodbye to Amelia then raced home after getting the text from Casey—Amelia had feared the day Casey text him 71: but knew it could always happen. She kissed him goodbye and told him to be safe, that she'd take care of everything at home and they had their own plan in the meantime. Once they had children, if Casey ever sent 71, Owen created a 72: Derek was going to stay with Amelia just in case. Owen knew both Cassidy and Chase weren't after him and his children, but he wasn't going to take any chances. Plus, Derek was not only trained to shoot, but an uncle to the kids as well.

The plane to New York seemed to be extra long—Owen had a license to carry in every state, and had already contacted his and Casey's friend Timothy before boarding. He was in the FBI: a friend of theirs since they were younger—actually, they grew up with Timothy. Owen went to grade school with him, and they've been in contact ever since. Timothy was shocked when Owen told him what was going on—he always thought the Novak parents were entitled, but never ones to abuse their children. Owen explained that they never abused him or Jake, just Casey, then got emotional about the fact he didn't protect Casey when she was little. He was trying to keep his emotions in check and Tim could sense this—doing his best to comfort his friend over the phone so he started to ask more questions about what they knew which wasn't much considering Owen knew what the text said which wasn't much: Cassidy tried to kill me, take the girls, escaped, plan 71. Suddenly it dawned on Owen—"Tim, go to the 1-6 and request to speak with Captain Donald Cragen, and him only. Tell him I sent you and I'll be there as soon as I can. I don't trust anyone else on this okay? Promise me!"

"I hear you, Owen. I promise."

Hours later, Owen was running up the running into the squad room and greeted by who he considered to be his friends too. Since Casey's kidnapping, the squad really showed them how much they truly cared for his baby sister, and he respected each and every one of them. Except for this new guy who could already sense he could punch in the face. But he was getting that sense from everyone as well.

"Hey man," Fin said, "Come on, let's go see that Cap, he's meetin' with ya friend Tim."

Everyone else smiled at except for the new guy. Nick immediately saw the resemblance to Casey who he had only formally met once and seen two other times in passing. He visibly gulped watching as Owen and Fin walked into Cragen's office—he knew his days were numbered at SVU.

"You're fucked," Elliot said to Nick, shaking his head. Munch and Amanda both smiled but said nothing, thinking the same thing. Fin walked back out and glaring at Amaro then sat back down at his desk.

The Feds had arrived, and there was an APB out on Cassidy Novak. Eight details were set up at the Novak residence, two were right outside the door on their floor, two in the lobby with Charles, two outside the door, and two on the street. Cragen had set it up with Tim who had plenty of men willing to jump however high when he mentioned the Novak name, all eight men were FBI agents that Tim currently worked with. The squad was currently trying to piece together everything they could—they had a statement from Charles the doorman, from Emily, and had tried to track Cassidy's movements but couldn't. They did need to speak to Casey, but knew she needed to make sure the girls were okay first—and with Owen now here, he would hopefully be able to help with that, along with figure out more of the missing pieces of Cassidy's movements. Amanda and Fin were currently going through bank records, Elliot was looking a cell phone records, Munch at flight manifests, when Owen came flying out of the Captains office.

"Come here you piece of shit—do you ever think before you act?" he called out, storming over to Nick who quickly stood up from his desk.

"I didn't—"

Before he could say anything Owen punched him in the face sending him flying backwards. Tim was about to pull Owen back but he stopped, "Let's go, I need to see my family." Owen announced.

The squad just smiled, they all wanted to do the same exact thing but it wouldn't have been allowed thank you Owen! "I'll let you know what I find out, Captain. Sorry for the disturbance," Owen nodded towards the captain.

Cragen nodded back, "Amaro, go get cleaned up. The rest of you, we have work to do."

Tim and Owen were walking out when another man was walking into the station. Owen stopped and turned around to look at him—"Are you coming?" Tim asked.

"Was that?" Owen questioned, not fully seeing the man, but swearing it was no, it couldn't have been. He wouldn't be so stupid to show his face here. He thought to himself.

Tim turned to see, but now the man had walked passed them so it could truly be anyone, "I don't think so, why?"

"I think it was, there's no reason for him to be here—he knows to never be here!"

"Owen come on, let's go see Casey," Tim tried to encourage his friend. He just punched a man in the face, now he's seeing someone who we haven't seen in years?

Owen didn't listen, and turned around to follow the man. Which, in return meant Tim followed Owen as well. He looked up and saw that the elevator went to SVU's floor I knew it, I knew I got a bad feeling. Owen and Tim got on the elevator once it came back down then rode it up back, "Hey man, I thought ya went to ya sis's place," Fin said.

"Did you s—" Owen cut himself off seeing who he was looking for and left Fin standing there looking confused as he heard the man talking to Cragen.

"I'm Donald Cragen, how can I help you?"

"My name is Richard Nealson, FBI. I think I can help you with the Cassidy Novak case, Sir."

Owen stormed over to the man and spun him around, "HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FUCKING FACE HERE!" Tim ran over as well to stop Owen from doing something stupid. Once he saw the man up close, he knew exactly who he was, "I TOLD YOU IF I EVER SAW YOU AGAIN I'D KILL YOU!"

Tim took the cuffs from behind his back and put them on Nealson's wrists, "What are you doing?" Richard questioned.

Before Tim could give a response Owen started screaming again, "YOU DAMN WELL KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH! AND I KNOW YOU'RE HELPING CASSIDY TOO! YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN OBSESSED WITH MY SISTER!" Tim wasn't fast enough and Owen took a swing at Nealson's face, connecting with his jaw. Then he along with Fin and Elliot led the man into an interrogation room as Cragen brought Owen into his office.

Owen broke down, and Cragen let him—his thick exterior finally came crumbling down. 18 years of keeping his baby sisters secret safe and he broke. Yes, Alex knew, and after asking for permission from Casey, Owen told Amelia. But that was it—and now, he may have 'outed' her secret to her whole squad. I've failed my sister again. Cragen cleared his throat, "Owen…"

Casey and Alex made their way upstairs into the bedroom to find Charlotte kneeling on their bed trying to peek into the bassinette to see her baby sister while continuing to speak to her, "Hi sweet girl, are you comforting your sister?"

"MOMMA!" Charlotte squealed and stood up, throwing herself into Casey's arms. 'oomph'

Alex went over to pick up Harper. "I guess I'm chopped liver," Alex mumbled, shutting off the baby monitor as she laughed. Casey kissed the top of Charlotte's head then kissed Alex', "Never babe."

"I know, I was just teasing. But this one is hungry, and I'm not sure how much more frozen breastmilk we have so I'm going to need you're boob."

"Oh you're going to need it," Casey teased, causing Alex to blush.

"I-umm-I, well—"

"Snack momma! Hungee pease," Charlotte said, taking the attention away from a stuttering Alex.

"Okay baby, why don't you go with mommy and get a snack while I get your sister started on her snack, then I'll meet you downstairs?"

"No!" Charlotte screamed, then started to shake. "You too mo-mma. Da sc-scaw-wy wady..." she said, her bottle lip trembling.

Casey instantly felt badly and held Charlotte closely even though Harper was fussing, Casey rocked the little girl back and forth—calming her down. "The scary lady is all gone baby. The only people downstairs are grandma and grandpa baby girl. I promise. Mommy and I will always protect you," Casey said, pressing a kiss to the side of her head.

"Oo tome too?"

"Okay baby, I'll come too." The family of four all walked downstairs, and were met with the grandparents who had already prepared a snack for the little girl along with the mothers as well. Charlotte was very pleased to see that nobody else was in the house, and Harper was very happy when Casey provided her boob.

After snack time Alex and Casey were cuddled up on the sectional in the living room as was Liz who was holding Harper while they all watched Alexander and Charlotte play dollies together with Cinderella playing in the background. "No g'apa, she no seepin' write now."

"Oh, okay," he said, pulling the doll back out of the bed he had just put it in. Apparently he didn't 'play dollies' the right way.

The adults laughed, it was so cute how long he was willing to spend playing dollies on the floor with her; even after hours on the living room floor, both mothers needed a break—but grandpa stayed down there enjoying every minute of it. Granted, it had only been about 35 minutes as of right now, but typically he'd play with her for about 3 hours on the floor with blocks, dolls, her little kitchenette, any little toy before suggesting something else.

Alex had been cuddling against Casey watching her daughter and father play when she suddenly felt her wife tense, she looked over and saw Casey was pale as a ghost, "Babe?" Then she looked down in her lap and saw the Casey had out her phone. "What happened honey?" Alex questioned, a hand on her thigh giving it a slight squeeze.

When Casey opened her mouth she couldn't speak, Alex started to really worry—then Alex saw her mother look over as well. Liz looked panicked also—luckily both Alexander and Charlotte were too close to the TV to hear them, or if her father had, he didn't turn to see.

Casey handed Alex her phone: Case, there is no easy way to say this but… Richard Nealson is helping Cassidy. He is in custody, not giving anyone a location of her whereabouts but is bragging about what he did to you. I'm so, so sorry. I want to stay here and make sure this SOB doesn't get away…again, Tim's here too. Do you need anything?

Alex didn't know what to say. What do you say to that? Yeah, they talk to the victims of rape all the time, it's their job—but this is HER wife. Her wife who was raped when she was 9 years old, and her parents allowed it to happen. Not only allowed it to happen, they made it happen. Richard Nealson was a family friend—of course he was, rich, powerful, FBI at the time before he went rouge, and he spent that week while Chase and Cassidy went to work taking care of Casey. But not taking care of her the way he should be, he raped her, day in and day out. When Casey told her mother she laughed in her face, said 'serves you right for being a worthless lesbian', 'maybe it will cure the gay'. Owen noticed the change in his little sister, but not always being there made it hard to see if she was just being a typical 'moody' girl, or if something was really going on. One day she broke down and told him what happened. By that time, Richard Nealson had been raping her for 3 years and her parents had done nothing to stop it. When Owen went to confront his parents, and then Nealson, he found that his parents had paid him to do it because Casey was a lesbian. 'It was the only was we could fix her son' Chase said. 'Richard said the FBI swears it works' Cassidy agreed. How fucked up are my parents? He remembered thinking? Before leaving his house that day. That was when he decided to move Casey in with him, and never look back—had he known sooner, she would have been out of there MUCH sooner.

Casey took the phone back from her wife and typed a reply: she knew if Nealson was talking, it wouldn't be long before everyone knew what happened to her if they didn't already know. Yeah, it sucked they had to find out this way. But she's strong, and she's dealt with it—she has an amazing life, a great support system, and nobody can take that away from her.

Let him talk. I know who I am and I'm damn proud of it. I have a hot wife, Charlotte's so fucking brave, Harper is so adorable, I have a family who loves me, and my squad is amazing. My past is my past: let him rot.

She gave the phone back to Alex so she could read it, then blue bore into green so she could judge her reaction, "I love you SO, much. And I am so proud of you babe," Alex said, leaning in to capture Casey's lips. They got lost in the kiss, moaning.

"I love you too, Lex."

"I wuv oo free!" Charlotte said, jumping onto the couch with them causing all the adults to laugh. Clearly she had been listening to them without the mothers noticing.

Flashback

"Owen…"

Owen looked at the captain and knew was he was asking him, and pulled out his phone. Taking a deep breath he sent the dreaded text message.

Case, there is no easy way to say this but… Richard Nealson is helping Cassidy. He is in custody, not giving anyone a location of her whereabouts but is bragging about what he did to you. I'm so, so sorry. I want to stay here and make sure this SOB doesn't get away…again, Tim's here too. Do you need anything?

He knew she was with the girls and Lex—making sure they were okay after everything that happened this morning; even though he still didn't know what went on, he knew it wasn't good because it had to do with Cassidy. He waited a few minutes but a text came through.

Let him talk. I know who I am and I'm damn proud of it. I have a hot wife, Charlotte's so fucking brave, Harper is so adorable, I have a family who loves me, and my squad is amazing. My past is my past: let him rot.

Smiling he read the message, but then thought about what was going to happen now that he had permission to discuss what happened. This wasn't going to be easy—it was going to be awful especially because Casey looked at Cragen like another father figure. Honestly, Alexander was like a true father figure to her, but Cragen was an honorary father. He'd want Richard Nealson's head on a platter.

Owen looked up to meet Cragen's eyes, "Casey was raped—for 3 years, by Richard Nealson." He watched as Cragen's jaw tightened and his fists clenched. "She didn't disclose to me until she was nearly 14 years old and when I found out, I confronted my parents who told me," Owen cracked both of his knuckles and his neck before continuing, "Who told me they paid him to do it because she's a lesbian. I wanted to kill all three of them, make them suffer for what they did to my baby sister—but Casey—"

Cragen could see how much Owen was suffering by recounting what happened to Casey, and how much it pained him knowing he couldn't protect her. He was angry, not at Owen, but at these awful parents. Cragen had grown fond of the Novak's. Owen and Jake were great men—Amelia was an amazing woman and their kids were adorable. Everyone in Casey's life was absolutely incredible, except for her parents—it pained him to know that fact. He didn't understand how two people that were so terrible could have such awe inspiring kids.

"…Casey just wanted me to get her out of there. She didn't want me to hurt them, she just didn't want to be there anymore. We created our 71 plan," Owen looked up to see Cragen's face, "It was essentially our 911 so I'd know if her life was in imminent danger and come running then our no violence rule would go out the window. That's what she sent me today when Cassidy escaped custody."

Cragen nodded his head in understanding and hated the fact that the siblings had to have this plan in place for such a long a long time—but knew it was necessary. "Do you think Nealson knows where she is?"

"He went rouge over 15 years ago, but forged a badged good enough to fool you and everyone else—I'm thinking he was going to try and come in as a spy and double back. But who knows, maybe he doesn't know? Any chance you'll let me in there with you?"

Cragen smiled, "I can let you watch outside, how about that?" Owen nodded. "Thank you, Captain."

End of Flashback

Cragen and Owen left his office to find Munch and Amanda at their desks looking through the files they had. Amaro was no where in sight which was good, Owen really didn't want to see him right now anyways. Fin, Elliot and Tim were all outside the interrogation room pacing like a bunch of caged lions—knowing this information could possibly be pertinent to the case, both Munch and Amanda walked over to the box as well. Nobody knew who was going to go in to do the interview so they waited for some type of instruction: Cragen didn't know what would happen—if this piece of shit would share what he did to Casey with his detectives, Owen didn't know either. Because of this, he was going in—he just didn't know who he was going to take in with him. Everyone was going to get upset, all of his detectives loved Casey more than anything. Fin, Elliot and Amanda loved her like a sister, Munch he wasn't sure but it was definitely like family, and Tim he didn't know well enough. Owen he couldn't take in. Thinking about it, he decided his best bet was Fin. He didn't trust Elliot's temper, but Fin knew enough to keep his in check.

"Fin, let's go—the rest of you, wait out here," Cragen said, entering the room. "I'm going to give you 5 minutes to tell me where Cassidy Novak is, if you don't and the District Attorney get's here first you'll spend the rest of your life in solitary confinement no visitors, no phone calls, no mail. Think I'm bluffing? Try me."

"You can't scare me, Captain. I'm with the F-B-I," Nealson annunciated.

"I'm not trying to scare you, you're not worth my time. Cassidy Novak. Where is she?"

"I don't want to talk about her. Do you know what I want to talk about? Cassandra!" Richard smirked, venomously. "The most beautiful little girl. Oh when I laid eyes on her, she had these little pig tails and a pair of jeans and a green shirt that had ridden up just a little exposing her skin her perfect skin," He groaned. "Cassidy told me Cassandra had come out to her and Chase stating she was a god awful lesbian—and that couldn't happen. So guess what? They hired me to cure her," he laughed. "The summer of her 9th birthday is when I started the process of curing her, I told Cassidy it would take a week to start. I took her the basement and chained her to an old mattress spreading those perfect long legs, and popped that cherry. God she was so tight." He winked at Fin.

Owen was outside of the two-way listening to this vile man defile his baby sister in detail and leaned over to the trash can that was next to him and threw up. Amanda who was standing next to him didn't want to scare him but felt badly so she hesitantly rubbed his back—when he didn't jump or jerk away she continued with the motion. Nobody knew if Owen knew this information or not, but even if he did, it can't be easy to hear from the man.

"…and she would beg me to stop, cry out for her big brother Owen to come save her knowing her parents wouldn't."

Owen kept puking even though there was nothing left but bile. Elliot was clenching his fists, Amanda was trying to provide any type of comfort to Owen but what was there to do, Tim was at a loss of words now knowing why his friend had the reaction he did when he saw Richard earlier, and Munch was getting the Novak brother some water. Fin wanted to slowly torture Nealson and inflict as much pain possible to the man, and Cragen was trying to not bash his brains in while not vomit at what he was hearing. Nealson was describing every detail of what he did to Casey in the basement, what she screamed, how she would beg him to stop, she bled, tried to get away, was covered in bruises, how both Cassidy and Chase came down when they got home from work and would smack her around, watching as Nealson raped their own daughter—it was horrific.

Fin slammed his hands down on the interview table, "WHERE IS CASSIDY NOVAK YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH?"

Nealson smirked, "I see I'm getting to you detective, you must be jealous I go a piece of Cassandra and you didn't."

Arthur Branch appeared to find Owen as well as an unknown man standing with all of the detectives watching the interview, "Detectives," then he heard Fin scream.

Before Cragen could do anything, Fin grabbed the back of Nealson's head and slammed his face on the table, "WHERE'S CASSIDY NOVAK?"

Arthur held his hand up to Elliot who's eyes went wide, "Don't worry, I've been briefed." He went into the room. "Richard Nealson, I'm the District Attorney—you've been offered your deal, and judging by the fact I heard Detective Tutuola screaming the same question down the hall not a minute before I walked in here, you haven't accepted it." He then looked at Fin, "Book him."

"Life in prison will give you a lot to think about Mr. Nealson," Arthur said on his way out with Cragen.

"Wait! I know where she is," watching the two men leave, his face bloodied, hands still cuffed.

"Talk!" Fin said, slamming Nealson back into the seat.

"578 W Harmer Ave Apt. E I'm supposed to meet her tonight with updates on the case. Chase Novak is in on it too, he's paying for it all. It was all their idea, my hands are clean! I didn't do anything wrong! I had absolutely nothing to do with this, I swear, I'm just an innocent bystander!"

Fin just smacked him upside the head, didn't do anything wrong? Is he for real? I outta kill this piece of trash! Knowing Owen was still right outside, he let everyone else go and cuffed Nealson to the table and made sure there were two officers watching him. Luckily, Owen had already followed the captain into his office. "Fin, Cap wants Munch going with and three of Tim's Fed buddies to escort Nealson to lock up—not letting him out of sight. The rest of us are going with more of the Feds over to the address he gave us to catch this bitch, and more Feds are going to get the Chase Novak." Elliott said.

"Sounds good man, is Owen gonna see Case and Lex?"

"Yeah, told him we'd let him know when it's done. He doesn't need to be here for this. It's hard enough for them, plus hearing about…" Elliot trailed off. That was hard for all of them, but he couldn't imagine. He has sisters of his own, but he thinks of Casey as a sister as well—I mean hell, he sees Casey more than his own sisters.

Everyone piled into their squad cars and raced off.

"Charlotte baby, Uncle Owen is coming over to play with you," Casey said.

"Untle Ownin?" Charlotte cheered. It was the cutest thing, Owen's name didn't come easily to Charlotte, but she tried. Casey had received a text from Owen a little bit ago telling her that he was on his way over, it wasn't very specific, but she told him there were 8 details and he'd have to verify who he was even though she already told the two outside the door he was coming. Alex was glad to know he was on his way over—although both women knew it wasn't over yet seeing as they'd get a phone call from Cragen and Branch who were working the case. Casey and Alex had already sent Branch a text telling him not to worry about Liz freaking out on him for not telling her about what was going on sooner—as he wasn't even made aware of the situation until Owen got here either. Casey was starting to feel guilty about everything though; not just the fact that Cassidy was causing all of this to happen to her family and the squad, but for the fact that she had just recently told Liz and Alexander she had never been with a man before. Owen always told her to be with a man you need to give consent, and because she never gave consent, she was never with a man. Technically she was with a man countless times, for three years—raped nonetheless, but still a man. Casey wasn't sure what would go to or come out in trial if there was one, so she didn't know if she should open up to her in-laws. They've been so incredibly amazing to her already, and haven't treated her any differently since she told her about the abuse she endured at the hands of her parents, but this, this is different.

Charlotte had asked Casey another question about her Uncle Owen but the redhead didn't respond, she was clearly lost in thought about something, "Yes baby, I'm sure Uncle Owen will love to play with paint with you," Alex answered.

"YAY!" Charlotte said, jumping up and down then ran into the kitchen to go tell her grandparents the good news. "G'amma, 'g'ampa, mommy say Untle Ownin tan pait wif me!"

"No way, sweet pea!" Liz smiled, at the little girls excitement.

Alex watched at the way they interacted and then looked back at her wife, "Hey, babe—where did you go? Case! Baby," the blonde wrapped her arms around Casey's neck and kissed her face, "Baby talk to me."

"I lied to your parents."

Alex pulled back to looked at her wife furrowing her brows, "What?"

"I lied to your parents," Casey repeated.

"No, baby, I heard what you said. But, when? And about what?" Alex was trying to think of anything that Casey may have lied about and nothing was coming to mind.

"I told them I never—" she looked down not able to meet Alex's eyes, "never slept with a man."

There it is, Alex thought to herself. Everything clicked—she's beating herself up over everything, and there isn't any reason to. Alex lifted Casey's chin so green bore into blue, "Casey, you didn't sleep with a man. You were raped, and your life was threatened by not only tha man that raped you, but the two people who were supposed to protect you at all costs. Do you remember what Owen said to you?" Casey nodded. "Well he's right. You didn't consent, you said NO, you did nothing wrong. And I don't count that as sleeping with a man. To me, you've had two previous sexual partners, that's all. Then there's me, your wife, your forever, until forever ends." By this time, Casey had tears running down her cheeks and Alex was trying to wipe them away.

Charlotte came bounding back into the living room and jumped onto the couch. "Momma why oo cwyin?' Ooo sad?" She asked tilting her head to the side. The little girl was clearly affected earlier in the day after waking up from her nap wanting Casey to come downstairs too, but once she saw everything was okay and the mean lady was no longer there—everything was back to normal for her. Except for the fact she got to play with grandma and grandpa all day as well, which made the day even more fun—and now, Uncle Owen is coming too—wow what a fun day for Charlotte. The mothers though, what an emotional rollercoaster, but when little Charlotte comes over tilting her head to the side asking why Casey's crying, neither could help but laugh because she's just so damn cute.

Casey pulled her close and Alex tickled her sides, "I'm okay baby girl, but you're just too cute! Do you know that?" Casey said, and held her down while Alex tickled her toes hearing her little squeals.

"Mommmmmmy!" she giggled, trying to get out of Casey's grasp. Liz and Alexander loved nothing more than the sound of Charlotte's contagious laugh, it filled the penthouse. But so did a knock on the door. Liz went to get it while Alexander kept cooking dinner—Harper had been very content in her rockaroo for a while, obsessed with the rocking, and the lullabies.

Liz swung open the door to a very frantic looking Owen—he had taken the cab over to try an calm down but after hearing Nealson describe the years of sexual abuse of his baby sister he still felt ill. "Oh hello dear, how are you?"

"H-hi Liz, i-is my sister o-okay?" Owen asked, feeling the tears already starting to start again. They heard another fit of laughter from Charlotte again after the mothers gave her a little break.

"Adain mommy!" Charlotte yelled, then started squealing as Alex's hands now went to the sides of her belly tickling her. "Mommmmmmmy" she giggled.

"Owen, honey, are you okay?" Liz asked, giving the man a hug and rubbing his back. He was paler than usual and the normally tough exterior was completely broken down.

"Yeah, no, yeah. I'm okay. How are you? Thank you for being here."

"Of course, we're making dinner. It will be ready shortly. The girls are in the living room, but I'm sure you can already hear that already," Liz said, as another bout of laughter was heard.

Just then, Charlotte's head shot up from the couch, "UNTLE OWNIN!"

He quickly wiped the single tear that slipped, "Hi pipsqueak," he said, seeing her get off the couch and run over to him. He stopped her before she got to him, "Hold on honey, let me wash my hands before I give you a hug."

Charlotte didn't understand, that had never happened to her before and she started to cry, Casey quickly got off the couch and scooped her up, "It's okay baby girl, just give him a minute," she kissed the side of her head and bounced her. "Uncle Owen just has to go potty baby, see," Casey pointed to the bathroom watching as her brother disappeared behind the door. Charlotte nodded against her mothers chest.

"He dive me h-ug afta?" Charlotte hiccupped.

"Yeah baby, he'll give you a hug after he goes potty. But I'll give you a hug right now," Casey said, cuddling even closer to the little girl in her arms and peppering kisses to her face.

Owen took his bag, went into the bathroom and splashed water on his face—then brushed his teeth, there was no way he could kiss his sister or niece with a dirty mouth after what he just heard. But how was he supposed to explain that to a three year old? Hopefully Casey would help him explain that one. Owen exited the bathroom and placed his bag on the floor along with his coat, opened his arms and kneeled on the floor, "Can I get a re-do pipsqueak?" he asked, and watched as Casey put Charlotte on the floor.

Charlotte ran over to him and he lifted her up into the air then threw her up, way too high for Casey's liking, causing her to kick her little legs while in the air "Adain, adian!" she cheered, after he caught her, giving her a kiss. He did it three more times, then situated her on his hip, and walked over to Casey, wrapping a firm arm around his baby sister—kissing the side of her head, "I love you Casey-bear."

"I love you too, Owen. Thanks for coming."

"Always." He made sure Liz and Alexander weren't paying attention then asked, "Do they know?"

Casey shook her head, "No yet, but Lex and I are going to tell them. They deserve to know. Especially if…" Casey trailed off—she knows the law better than her brother does, and if she wants them to rot, which she does, they may need more than the word of a rogue FBI agent; especially because Chase and Cassidy don't leave any tracks.

"We'll get them this time, Case. I won't let you down ever again. I promise."

"Dinner is ready," Alexander called out.

Alex walked in from the living room holding Harper, who smiled when she saw Owen—even though she didn't recognize him the way she did her mothers or her grandparents, it was still adorably cute. The seven of them sat down to eat dinner, Charlotte telling her Uncle Owen all about what she wanted to paint with him after dinner.

"1, 2, 3…" Cragen signaled as they entered the apartment.

Elliot and Fin went in first followed by Amanda and Tim, then Cragen; the rest of the FBI were surrounding the building just in case Cassidy tried to make a run for it. Cragen wanted to be the ones to take her, and Tim had no problem with that being the case; he had a lot of pull in the bureau, as did the Novak name everywhere—so one phone call to his boss, Cragen got to do whatever he wanted.

Cassidy was sitting on the couch and turned around expecting to see her partner, "Well it's about time Rich—" she put the glass of scotch she was drinking down on the coffee table. "What can I do for you officers?"

"Cassidy Novak, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Casey N—"

Cassidy was trying to pull away from Elliot's grip, "CASSANDRA is a no good WHORE who doesn't know what's coming to her. I should have had her aborted when I had the chance, but because I didn't, she turned out to be a demon child—a lesbian. Spreading her legs for everyone, I tried to cure her, I really did. I was a good mother, I let Richard show her the way God intended her to be. For THREE WHOLE years I tried to make her right, but it didn't work. I even watched as Richard cured her, and she begged me to make him stop instead of taking it. She's sick, can't you see that. Now she's raising two bastard children with a tramp of a woman, who only wants her for her money, money that should be MINE! CASSANDRA NEEDS TO DIE! I NEED TO KILL HER!"

By this time, Fin and Amanda were both restraining a ranting Cassidy while Elliot was handcuffing her. She was kicking, twisting, screaming, practically throwing her body around, telling them all about God, how 'great' of a mother she was to Casey, and everything the women had done to Casey growing up. And somehow, not only had Casey turned out to be truly the kindest, sweetest, nicest person any of them had ever met, but had actually begged Owen not to hurt this woman. She was a saint. Every person in that room wanted to make Cassidy suffer for causing putting her through the unspeakable—there were no words left to say. Everyone wanted to let Cassidy fall down the stairs on the way out to the cruiser. 'oops'. Cragen knew there was still a lot of work to do, but there was one thing he had to do first.

Cassidy is in custody: NOT letting her out of my site until she's behind lock and key. Details staying in place anyways. Sending my love. -Grandpa Cragen

Casey and Alex breathed a sigh of relief: one down, one to go.
