Guys, please continue reviewing. Just for clarification, I have updated this story on the originals, the vampire diaries, and both of their crossovers. H The answers to all of your reviews are at the bottom of the story. Without further ado, let us get on with the story something
Sean was a good guy, Camille thought, a nice guy as she pressed her lips together to prevent herself from crying. She could still remember the last words she had said to him and the last words he had said to her. How could she not? It was only two days later that she had received the dreaded phone call. The conversation that they had between them was just a normal sibling conversation. Both of them had no idea that it was the last time they would speak to each other, hear each other's voices. Or maybe Sean did have an idea, maybe that was the reason that he had sounded extra affectionate in that phone call. Had he even sounded like that? For the life of her, Cami could not remember. Maybe it was just she being she that she was overanalyzing everything, over and over again.
She hated the monster sitting in front of her, ranting on and on about how his siblings had betrayed him when he himself was the maker of his own unhappiness. She longed to give him a piece of mind, longed to scream at him for playing with her emotions like that, playing with her sanity. Having her spend these tiring hours with him, with everything in her mind crystal clear, and then leave his presence and start doubting herself again. Did he not have any humanity left? Anything? She didn't think so. He was playing with her, manipulating her like he had a right to do so. He was a beast, a monster, a demon, a cold-hearted murderer but he kept his promises.
She cannot help but feel pity for the creature in front of her, he was more beast than man but he was still a man. She had seen it in the few minutes when he had helped her find what had happened to her brother when he had told her that if not for her association with Marcel they could have been friends. When he along with her had admired the painting on the street walk corner. Despite all that he had done to her, he was doing to her, and something which she thought, no she knew he would continue to do to her, her heart went out to him. To soothe and help the creature in front of her. The way he described to her the exact moment he had discovered himself not to be the child of the monster he had called father his whole life. How he had felt his identity shatter in front of him both from the strange revelation and from the curse his parents had given to his children in form of a gift.
She felt pity stirring somewhere deep in her heart for the person in front of her when he replayed a memory from thousand years ago, about mourning for a man who was a stranger to him, but who by some twist of faith was his father. She stopped writing when he continued to speak the same thing over and over again and looked at him, just looked at him and tried to find something in herself, anything that will make the hatred for him become more than her pity and sympathy she somehow felt for him. She failed.
" Type please," he said poring himself with another glass of one of the most expensive wines she had seen. It was such a typical human move of drowning one's sorrows in alcohol that Cami felt the now familiar pang in her chest, again. She seemed to feel like that a lot when she was around him.
" What's the point? you just repeat the same thing over and over again. Rebekah is out to get you. Elijah is out to get you. Is there anyone who is not plotting your downfall? I doubt you even trust your own reflection." she replied, trying to make him understand without actually saying it out loud. He had heard her, of course, he had heard her but he didn't acknowledge it and continued to mutter on about daggers and whatnot. From what she had learned of him, he had killed others simply for daring to speak in front of him. And here she was giving her advice without sugar-coating any of her words and he had not raised a finger to physically hurt her. She couldn't help but wonder, what it meant even if somewhere deep in her heart she already knew what it meant. But just like Klaus she didn't acknowledge it, she couldn't acknowledge it. Since her teenage days, she had stayed away from bad boys, knowing from her mother's past experience that they would just screw with her. Even as an adolescent she had been smart enough to understand it, recognize it. And stay away from it. Now look at her, a grown woman sitting with perhaps one of the evilest of them in a room, someone who would make the other bad teenage boys look like saints, and yet she couldn't help but feel the need to reach out to him, listen to him, help him. She knew she wasn't wrong when she thought that God needed to help her.
Even with whatever she felt for him, the hatred was still there, long and deep stretching deep within her heart.
" This is my time you steal it from me," she screamed and Klaus said nothing looking at her with something akin to respect, shock, and sadness. But the primary emotion there was loneliness, always loneliness. Camille left the house taking hasty footsteps down the lane. She couldn't afford for Klaus to examine more of the code she had drawn. If Klaus Mikaelson thought that he could get away with using her like that then he was in for one hell of a shock.
Klaus just sat there somehow incapable of moving. All he felt was fear now. He heard footsteps, the sound of clinking heels, and briefly wondered if Rebekah was back before dismissing the thought, she would no doubt be with Marcel like what he had feared almost a century ago they both had chosen each other over him.
" Klaus" the soft voice of someone he knew prickled his sharp hearing before the very same person was in front of him. He glanced at her again and felt his eyebrows recede to his hairline. The woman stopped in front of him, there was nothing casual or relaxed in her stance, making him realize that she had not come here to take up on his offer to give her the tour of his city. She had come here to inspect the phone call she had received, she had come here because of her worry for her friend. But no matter, Caroline Forbes had arrived in New Orleans.
kagoma-solma = Glad to know. Please continue reviewing. Any ideas for names.
wazman = Thanks for giving the answer. As always your answers are great. I will write paranoid Klaus. Like he is fun to write. Astrid is a great name. Yes, Tyler is going to the garden. He deserves it. Although I do hope I was able to add his feelings of guilt on hurting his friend. The other review you posted was very sweet, i always thought that I would post regularly but sometimes life happens and, there is not much you can do about it. I had my exams so I took a break. Although I will work on posting regularly. I have decided that I would post twice a week. Caroline is not in New Orleans, not yet she would be in this chapter.
bayruna = Okay I will consider the options but personally, I find the name Hope cliche. I also ship Elejah, thanks for reviewing I do hope you include your thoughts and constructive criticism in the reviews. I checked your profile and I must admit you have an excellent choice in fics, I discovered some that I loved a lot.
Melissa Laforte = Okay good to know, Please continue reviewing and telling me your thoughts.
brattneyforever93 = Thanks for giving the answers. You put the idea of Damon and Lexi in my head till I can't get it out of my head. I mean it is the perfect love-hate relationship. Maybe you can suggest to me someone for Karoline that she had not dated yet, like someone other than Klaus.
David12leca = Thanks for continuing reveiwning,I always looked forward to your reviews as you always review. In fact, I waited to give the previous update to read your review. But I guess you were busy then. Maybe you can go back to the previous chapter and try searching for some clues I have given for the plotholes. Maybe you will find them. Till now I don't think anyone has been able to get it. Thank you for your well wishes.
Guest = Okay, thanks for reviewing. I will consider your answers. Please continue reviewing.
Guest = Okay, thanks for reviewing. I will consider your answers. Please continue reviewing.
morganlove98 = Oh! thanks for clarifying. Please continue reviewing.
S Thakur = Thanks for continuing to review, yes I understand exactly what you are talking about, I and my best friends have the same sort of connection. I will add Caroline into the story but she will not be the main character or anything like that she and bonnie and the other members of the mystic falls will only be mentioned, or Elena will have phone conversations with them. The reason I brought Caroline into the story, in the first place, was because she will make an important revelation. As for Tyler, he was wrong In going after a baby, babies in this case in the first place. But I do hope I was able to add his feelings of guilt on hurting his friend in the latter chapter. As for the monster part, I personally feel that he was the one who was wronged in the first place but the way in which he chose to take his revenge was monstrous. I sometimes feel that because Joseph Morgan is well Joseph Morgan we tend to always defend Klaus a lot. Or maybe that's just me.
Klenashipper1 = I agree with your assessment. Trying to kill an unborn child was a new low for Tyler, didn't know why Klaus didn't kill him for it.
Guest = I doubt I will be able to make a Stefan and Davina pairing, but I promise I will try for Stefan and Freya.
