Chimney repels down the hill toward the plane. He finally makes it to the plane and sees it is engulfed in flames. The smoke is so thick he can hardly see 5 feet in front of him.

"Hello?" he calls out. "Is anyone there?"

There is no answer. Chimney gets on his radio. "Cap, the plane is completely engulfed and there's no one outside of the plane. The smoke is pretty bad down here."

"We'll pull you back up and get you some PPE," Bobby replies over the radio.

"Copy that."

Chimney gets pulled back up. As he's getting pulled up, he notices a bit of color out of the corner of his eye. He gets back on the radio.

"Hold up, Cap."

Chimney works his way over to investigate. He discovers a young woman among the wreckage. He feels for a pulse. He finds one.

"Cap, I've got a young woman on the hillside about halfway down. She's breathing but unresponsive. Multiple broken bones and possibly internal injuries. I need a basket down here."

"We're sending one down."

Chimney sits with the woman as a basket is sent down. Chimney quickly stabilizes her and gets her in the basket.

"We're ready."

Chimney is pulled back up the hill. Waiting paramedics take the woman to an ambulance.

Chimney joins Bobby. "It's bad, Cap. If there are people in there, they didn't make it."

"How far down would you say it is?"

"1200 feet or so. There's a river or something at the bottom of the hill. If we can get rescue boats down there and pump water from the river, plus bring hoses from up here, we can get that fire knocked out a whole lot quicker."

"Alright. They should already have a boat en route. In the meantime, you all will go down and start working on putting out the fire. And look around for survivors. It's possible they moved to higher ground away from the fire. Buck, I need you to stay up here and help man the repel with me."

"Yes, sir."

Everyone but Bobby and Buck gear up and start repelling down the hill once again.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

The crew repels down the hill to the plane. A rescue boat also pulls up to the shore. Part of the crew helps get the hoses from the river to the plane while the other half starts putting out the flames with the hoses they brought down. A helicopter flies overhead and a voice comes over on the radio.

"Units on the ground, we believe we have spotted the passengers about 100 yards north east of your location."

Chimney, Hen, and Eddie and a few other fire fighters start running that direction.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

The group of passengers are sitting around in the woods. Passengers and flight attendants are tending to the injured passengers. Jo is softly singing to Zoe, trying to calm her down. Karen is sitting with them. They hear a helicopter fly overhead. A few of the men try to flag them down by waving their hands and jumping.

"Are they going to find us?" The passenger sitting next to Karen quakes.

"Of course they are."

Suddenly they hear voices in the distance. They see the group of firefighters coming up the hill and the passengers start yelling for them. They run up the hill faster and finally get to the group. Hen sees Karen.

"Karen!"

They run to each other and embrace, neither one wanting to let go.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine. Really."

Chimney and Eddie go to the other passengers. Eddie goes to Jo. He sees her looking behind him for Buck.

"Buck stayed up top." He looks her over. "Are you okay?"

"Nothing major."

"What about you?" Eddie asks Zoe. "Do you have any boo boos?"

Zoe turns into Jo.

"I think she's okay," Jo answers, "just shaken up. I don't know what happened to her dad. Right before the plane broke in half he got unbuckled and put his body over her to protect her. When we crashed he must have gotten thrown back."

Chimney joins Eddie and Jo. "Where's Maddie and everyone else?"

"They were in the back of the plane," Jo says.

"Have you found the other half?" Karen asks.

Hen shakes her head. "It went over the other side onto the cliff. They're still trying to get down to it."

Eddie turns to address the other passengers. "We've got a bunch of paramedics waiting for you all at the top of the hill. We're going to have to take you one by one, starting with the most serious injuries first."

"This man is bleeding pretty badly," one of the firemen states. "I'm afraid if we move him too much he'll bleed out."

"We'll have to do an air rescue for him." Chimney gets on his radio. "Cap, we found the passengers. We have about 30, all alive. We have one severe injury that will need an air rescue, but everyone else can be taken up in a basket."

"Copy that. We'll get the helicopter to you and start sending baskets down."

Hen takes command. "We're going to start grouping everyone into sections. The first section will be people with the more severe injuries, and those people will go up first. The next group will be those with minor injuries, and the last group will be those with no injuries. We're going to work as quickly as we can, but we need you to stay calm and have patience. We're going to do the best we can, and we're going to take good care of you."

Everyone starts working on grouping everyone off.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Rescue workers are at the top of the mountain waiting for the first passenger to be brought up the hill. Evan and Bobby are working on pulling the basket back up. Chimney comes up with a patient in the basket. When they get to the top, paramedics take the passenger to a waiting ambulance.

Chimney goes to Bobby and Buck. His face is serious. "It's the girl's plane."

Buck's eyes widen. "Are they okay? Is Jo down there?"

"Jo and Karen are down there, and they're fine. A few minor injuries, but they're fine."

"What about Athena?" Bobby asks, trying to stay professional, but obviously concerned for his wife.

"Her, Maddie and Audrey were in the back half of the plane. Have they made it down there yet?"

"They're working their way down," Bobby answers.

"Good. I'm going to head back down."

Chimney goes back to the edge of the cliff. As he repels back down, another passenger is brought up.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Responders are repelling down the cliff to the other half of the plane. As they get closer, they find Athena is helping everyone out of the plane to safety.

"We've got some people stuck inside and some pretty severe injuries. Everyone out here only has minor cuts and bruises."

Some responders go inside while some stay outside to help Athena get people out and check on everyone outside.

Maddie is do CPR on a passenger when paramedics come in. The passenger isn't breathing.

"68-year-old female, possible heart attack. She hasn't had a pulse for about 10 minutes."

Paramedics start working on getting an IV while Maddie continues compressions. They get the IV in and start medications, then they get the defibrillator out and prep the woman to use it. Maddie sits back as they try to shock the heart. It doesn't work. They do it two more times before the woman regains a pulse. The paramedics call for an air rescue and take the woman out of the plane. Before anyone else can get out, then plane shifts and starts sliding down the cliff. It doesn't go far before it gets wedged on some rocks. A man that was still in his seat is now crying out in pain.

"My leg is stuck!"

Maddie and a paramedic go to him. His leg is now being crushed and pinned between the seat and the side of the plane.

"They're going to have to take these seats out," the paramedic says.

"This plane is barely hanging on," Athena says. "If you move it too much, it's going down with all of us on it."

"We'll have to secure it somehow," one of the firemen says. "First we need to get everyone off of this plane except for essential personnel."

"You can't leave him here alone," Maddie cries.

"He won't be alone," the fireman says. "I'm going to stay with him."

"Come on, Maddie."

Maddie and Athena help Audrey, who has broken her leg, out of the plane.
