Almost everyone has been taken up the hill. Jolene and Zoe are being put into the basket with Eddie and taken up. Only 6 more people remain on the ground, including Karen.

Paramedics help get Jo and Zoe up and out of the basket when they get to the top. Someone tries to take Zoe from Jo.

"She's staying with me."

Buck sees Jo and goes running to her. "Jo!"

"Evan!"

They embrace, holding each other tightly.

"It was so awful, Evan. I was so scared."

"You're okay, now. You're safe."

Buck looks her over. He notices she's keeping her wrist close. "Did you hurt your wrist?"

"I think it might be broken."

"Let's get you to an ambulance so they can take you to the hospital."

"I'm okay for now. Other people might need it more than I do." Buck continues looking her over. "Have you found a man in his late 20's, early 30's? He's white, tall, he was wearing a Lakers jersey and jeans. Maybe white sneakers. His name is Anthony. He's her dad. We were sitting next to each other on the plane, and when it broke apart he must have gotten thrown back."

"I don't know if they have or not. They haven't brought anyone from the other half of the plane up yet."

"You have to find him, Evan."

"We will." Buck reassures. "At least come sit down and let a paramedic look at you both."

Evan leads Jo to an ambulance to be looked at.

Eddie joins Bobby at the pulley.

"The unit at the back half of the plane says they need some manpower to secure the plane. It's starting to slip down the cliff and they have someone trapped. Do you think you and Buck could go down there and help?"

"Yes, sir."

"Buck?" Bobby calls over. "I need you to go down the cliff with Eddie."

"I'll come back to check on you." He kisses Jo on the cheek and leaves her to be checked on.

Buck and Eddie head to the cliff side to help out. They repel down the side of the cliff to where crews are working on securing the plane. Eddie sees Audrey and goes to her, pulling her into a hug.

"Are you hurt?"

"She has a broken leg," Maddie answers for her.

"But I'll be fine."

"They're going to take you up to the top. They've got paramedics waiting. I have to stay down here, but I'll get to you as soon as I can."

He gives her a quick kiss then joins Buck who has started helping secure the plane. They get it secured, then go inside where the fireman is sitting with the trapped passenger.

"His leg got jammed between the seat and the wall when the plane slid into the rocks."

"We're going to have to work fast," Buck says. "These tethers will only hold so long."

Eddie digs in his bag. "I've got a drill, so we can unscrew the seat."

"I'll keep the seat secure if you'll keep him still."

Eddie starts working on loosening the screws on the row of seats.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

The last passenger from the front half of the plane is loaded into the basket and taken up.

Hen is being repelled back up the hill when she hears a faint cry for help.

"Hold up."

They stop pulling her up. She sits quietly for a moment. She hears the cry again.

"Hello? Is someone there?"

She hears it again.

"Keep calling out! I'm coming for you!"

Hen starts moving to where she can hear the cry. She gets to a thicket of trees and bushes and finds Anthony laying there. Both his legs are broken and he isn't moving. Hen gets on her radio.

"I've found another passenger about 100 yards down and just west of where the other passengers were. Multiple broken bones, possible spinal injury."

She finally makes it over to him. "Sir, can you move your feet for me?"

He tries, but his feet don't move.

"I can't feel my feet," Anthony cries.

"That's okay."

"My daughter, is she okay? Her name is Zoe and she's 18 months old. I was trying to cover her up when the plane crashed. I got sucked out and ended up here."

"She's okay, thanks to you no doubt."

A paramedic joins Hen. He gives her a neck brace and Hen puts it on Anthony. They work very carefully around him.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Eddie is working on unscrewing the seats from the floor while Buck and the firefighter make sure the man and the seats don't move too much. Evan looks around, making sure everyone is out of the plane. He sees people sitting in the very front rows.

"There are still people up there."

The fireman shakes his head. "They're dead."

Buck gets on his radio. "Cap, we have at least 10 black tags still in here. We need personnel down here to get them out before we lose this plane."

"Copy that. We'll send manpower your way."

Eddie unscrews the last screw. "Help me move this seat."

Buck and Eddie slowly move the seat away from the man's leg. He screams out in pain as it's moved. The fire fighter tries to keep him calm. Once the seats are moved away, his leg starts bleeding profusely.

"He must have cut an artery." Eddie cuts the man's pant leg off. He sees where the blood is coming from. "Buck, I need you to put your finger right here so I can clamp off this artery."

"You want me to put my finger inside his leg?" Buck asks, wrinkling up his nose.

"Just for a minute."

Evan reluctantly does so. Eddie grabs his supplies and clamps down the artery. Then he tightly wraps up the leg and immobilizes it.

"On my count of three, we're going to slowly lift him up and carry him outside."

The boys all get into position.

"One, two, three."

The three men pick up the passenger and slowly carry him out of the plane and put him on a waiting backboard.

Eddie gets on his radio. "I have a patient needing an air evac down here."

"An air rescue will be en route to your location."

Crews work on removing the deceased passengers in the front two rows. Some are also taking passengers up the cliff in baskets.

Just as the last deceased passenger is taken out of the plane, the plane comes loose from the cables that are keeping it from slipping, and it goes crashing down the hill.

"Was everyone out?" Buck calls out.

A nearby crew member gives him a thumbs up, signifying that everyone had gotten out. Everyone looks relieved. They continue taking passengers up the cliff.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Jolene and Karen are sitting on the bumper of an ambulance. Jo is holding Zoe who is now asleep.

Audrey is brought up in a basket with Eddie and put on a stretcher.

"I want to wait until Maddie and Athena come up."

The couple waits for the other girls to come up.

Maddie comes up in a basket with Buck. She is helped on her feet. She sees Chimney and goes running to him. They embrace.

Athena is brought up in a basket and is met by an anxious Bobby. They hold each other tight.

"I was so scared that you were hurt," Bobby says.

"You know better than that."

They both let out a small chuckle. The three girls are taken towards the waiting ambulances with the guys.

As soon as Jo and Karen see Maddie, Audrey and Athena, they all embrace.

"Next time we're checking in early so we don't get separated," Maddie says.

"Who says there's going to be a next time?" Audrey asks incredulously.

"Yea," Jo agrees, "I don't think I'm going to be getting on a plane any time soon."

They laugh. All the girls except for Jo are taken to get checked out with their partners. Buck hugs Jo again.

"Did Hen tell you they found her dad?"

"Is he okay?"

"He has a spinal injury, possibly paralyzed. They took him to the hospital in an ambulance."

"Thank goodness."

"Now that you know he's okay, will you please go to the hospital to get looked at?"

"If I go then they'll take Zoe away. I know she doesn't really know me all that well, but right now I'm the only thing that's familiar to her, and she needs that."

"I'll make sure she stays with us. At least until her mom gets here. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Come on."

Buck leads Jo to a waiting ambulance.

All's well that ends well, right? The last chapter is pretty short, so it should be up in the next day or two!
