A/N

I do not own these characters of the show.

I hadn't planned on a part 3 but I do need to wrap these episodes up. I left a honeymoon gift from the family open therefore I have to write the honeymoon into the story.

This is part 3

After the celebration the next morning, Lisa, Jack and Lou were cleaning the last of last nights celebration. Lisa taking down lights. Now though "I only have one regret from the party" This scared Lisa as Lou looked at him questioning look on her face. "I didn't dance with you at the party" he says looking directly at his granddaughter and reaches for her hand. She gladly takes the offered hand, leads her to the dancefloor. No music just the two of them swaying. Lisa walks over, the biggest smile gracing her face. Watching the best moment of her husband letting his guard down. His interactions with granddaughters were always so loving.

Later that day Lisa lay in bed, exhausted. Jack though stealing subtle glances her way. He was packing their bags for the honeymoon. Usually, it'll be the other way around. Lisa was always the one of them that loved to travel but for right now, she would be happy to just stay at Heartland. Maybe head to the dude ranch but Jack couldn't wait to get away. He just wanted her to himself even if that meant he was travelling once again to France.

The flight was uneventful. Long but he was happy. He held his wife's hand in his as Lisa slept. Arriving in Paris. Lisa's car already waiting for them. They made the drive to her place in Toulon. Taking in all the scenery. Jack was very happy in this moment.

Arriving at Lisa's house. Jack looks around. He remembered this house. He loved this house. It had such a country feel to it. Something like Heartland. Home away from home.

Lisa led him inside. Gave him a tour and detailed some of the changes she has made since she took possession. She had done some thoughtful things for this man. The house was decorated with photos of them. Photos of their family at Heartland over the years. She had a surprise for Jack and led him to that room. It had fly fishing gear. He gasped when he walked inside. A picture of Lyndy and Marion in the center of the room. She leans down as he takes a seat. "Welcome Home" he smiles. "Lisa this is beautiful" he says wiping tears away. She had thought of everything. A guitar stands in the corner with music sheets. She wanted him to feel at home or at the very least at peace.

Lisa left Jack and slipped out of the room. To let this man, enjoy what was happening, what he was feeling. He walked around the room taking in all the little details. He hadn't even noticed that she slipped out of the room. He loved this woman, and he couldn't believe that he waited so long before finally trying to fix things.

Jack left the room and went in search for the woman and found her lost in her thoughts. She had poured two glasses of wine. One sat on the table in front of her, the other in hand. Leaning comfortably against the side of the couch. He walked up behind her and leaned down to place a kiss on her head before making his way to take a seat next to him.

They enjoyed the comfortable silence just enjoying the feeling of having the other there. Over the next few days, they had done everything from trail rides, hiking, swimming, fishing. They ate their fair share. Drank too much. Done some shopping. Sightseeing. They were days away from heading home.

They head for a special dinner. Jack wanted to reiterate and remind her that he loved her. They sat eating, talking and reminiscing of the years before. Now dinner is done, Jack leads Lisa to the car. He needs to get her home so he can her just how much he loves her. They had made love again that night for the umpteenth time. He would never tire of this.

And YES, Jack enjoyed France this time around. She was happy. He was happy. It was perfect.

This is the end to this part. Thank you for reading. I hope you guys enjoyed.

I do, however need to write a one shot for the episode TRUST because the fact that Jack brought up Dan kissing Lisa and the hurt left in her heart. I need to explore that because that kind of left me empty if that makes sense. I wanted more. I needed more.
