A/N

I do not own these characters of the show.

This is based on the episode TRUST. I couldn't believe what happened In that episode.

Lisa is the most thoughtful person Jack thinks to himself. He had only told her that the cold nights for the cattle runs really can be a pain only once. She remembered and brought him that silly saddle. She thought she was doing the right thing.

"You wanna turn in early?" Lisa asks "what are you getting at Lisa?, you think I can't stay up past 9 o clock?" he replies annoyed. "No I didn't say that" she sighs "maybe not, but you have been treating me like a relic of the old west ever since you brought me that ridiculous saddle" "Jack, that's what I do. I fuss. I worry. I buy inappropriate gifts. That's just what I do with someone I love" she looks in his eyes. Jack doesn't know what to say "someone you" "well you're never gonna say it but that's not gonna stop me, I'm gonna tell you how I" Jack cuts her off by leaning in and kissing her. Her eyes instantly close at the contact as her hand comes up to rest on his chest. No words needed. He reaches down takes her hand and leads her to the dance floor. He spins her into him as they enjoy the dancing. Talking. Giggling. Laughing.

Jack ponders what just happened. She told him she loved him. He loved her too, but he couldn't say the words. He wanted to but couldn't bring himself to do it. Instead, he just leaned in and kissed her. So many times, he wanted to do this. Her lips were soft. He never actually imagined it to feel this way. He didn't know what he expected but it wasn't this. He felt electricity surge through his body and wondered if she felt it too.

As Jack leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. Lisa felt every emotion that could be felt. Love. Desire. Happiness. Joy. A little pain too. He hadn't said it back. She didn't think he would but then again, she also didn't think he would initiate the first kiss either. She loved this man and couldn't wait to see where life would take them. She longed to feel this kind of love. The kind you see only in movies. She was happy and content with how things felt for them in this moment, but she wanted more. She wanted him. She wanted to feel him. She wanted to love him. She wanted everything with him.

They danced the night away and retreated to bed. After a while though, they lay just in each other's embrace. Silence falling on them, but none bothered by it. It allowed them time to think about everything. It allowed them to dream and they couldn't be happier. Sighing in content they both drifted off to sleep at the same time. Both had the biggest smile on their faces.

This was a very short one. But still just tried to capture the moment.
