"That isn't possible. Hera doesn't have children." Said Will.
"I usually don't, but there was something about Alex Greendale that changed me. He was so kindhearted, it's a shame he had to die." Hera explained with a sigh.
"Wait, you killed him!" exclaimed Percy.
"What? No, he died from a disease that runs in his family," I said quickly, I did not want them to get the wrong idea.
"So, um, how did, um, Trish meet you," Nico asked.
"Well, first off, Trish, what happened to your cloak? Again." Hera mumbled the last part, but I could still hear the sternness in her voice.
"Someone robbed me again," I explained.
"Again! That's the third time this month!" She exclaimed
"Well, I am living in an alleyway," I said matter-of-factly.
Hera then went on to mumble something I could hear.
"So, about Nico's question?" Annabeth asked, clearing her throat.
"After I fainted, Hera was with me. She explained what had happened to me." I went on to explain how Hera explained how I got my curse.
Hera had originally fallen in love with Lawrence Sutton, my grandfather. When he left Hera for my grandmother, she had cursed him, saying that his first-born daughter would have unimaginable power and her life would be a living Hades. Well, it just so happened that my grandparents had both boys, my father, and my uncle. My uncle then went onto have yet another son, then his son had two other sons. Then again, my dad had a boy first, but then came me. So, I happened to be the first daughter of Lawrence Sutton.
"Then when I had destroyed everything I had ever known, Hera felt bad and took me in as her daughter. She brought me to New York City and to Alex Greendale, where I have been living for a year now," I said.
"Wait, so Hera doesn't have a daughter?" Percy asked, Annabeth rolled her eyes at him.
"No, you idiot, Coral's her actual daughter, Trish is like a daughter to her because Hera has been taking care of her since the incident."
"And this is why your nickname is Seaweed Brain," I said while giggling a little.
"You said that you've been living in this alleyway for a year. Why didn't you just live with Alex?" questioned Will.
"After Hera left Alex. He married this one lady, who didn't quite like me." I stated.
After a moment of silence, Hera spoke up, "Here, since you lost your old one, and I missed your birthday, I have a new cloak for you." She handed me a heavy piece of fabric with emeralds decorating the bottom rim. I tried it on.
"I love it!" I said excitedly, wrapping her in yet another hug.
"Okay that's enough for now, I have to get back to Olympus. Will you guys please take these two back to your camp with you, it's getting too dangerous for them here."
"By, Mommy!" Yelled Coral as Hera simmering out of sight.
"Fine!" sighed Percy. Hera just scowled at that.
"Well, I guess I have to come with you guys," I said with a huge grin on my face while picking Coral up.
"Nico will you do the honors?" asked Annabeth.
"Why shadow traveling? Can't we just take a cab?" Will whined, just as we plunged into darkness.
