As the elevator door slowly opened, I peered out in awe.

This place is amazing, I thought. We stepped out and I looked around. We had come out onto a pathway that looked like it was made of clouds that led all the way up to Olympus. As we walked along the path towards what I suppose was the castle or throne room, I looked around at the beauty that surrounded us. We passed several statues of the many minor and major immortals. I pointed to one statue and said, "Annabeth's work, I'm guessing,"

"Yeah, it took her a while but it's finally done," Percy explained.

"Well, tell her it looks great," I said finally.

"Will do."

We finally got to the steps of the palace.

Holy crap on a cracker, I thought. I peered around at the amazing architecture, wondering how in Hades one demigod was able to design all of this. She probably had help, no doubt, but it was still incredible. Percy led me and Coral into what I would think is the throne room. In front of us sat Zeus, Poseidon, Hera who had a mortified look on her face, and Hestia who was at some sort of fountain against the one wall. Percy went up to Poseidon, knelt, and said, "Father."

This made Poseidon laugh, "Why are you kneeling boy, stand up." Percy did what he was told and stood straight up like a fence post with a quirky grin on his face like it was some kind of joke. Zeus just looked over with an annoyed look on his face.

"Well what brings you here, son of Poseidon," Zeus says in a booming tone.

"Oh come on uncle lighten up a bit," Percy responded with yet another goofy-looking grin on his face. That's when Zeus just so happened to notice me.

Oh dear, why did it have to be he's staring at, I thought as he glared my way.

"You shouldn't be here, mortal," He said with yet another booming tone.

"I, um," I gulped, Why was he looking at me like that? Am I in trouble or something? Why did I have to come up here?

"Chiron told me to bring her up here, he thought that you could help her," Percy interjected.

Thank goodness, I thought.

Zeus stood up and headed my way, he reached out his hand and moved it toward my forehead.

"Wait, no! Don't hurt them!" Hera yelled. Zeus turned around to stare at his immortal wife who was then covering her mouth with her hand. She walked over and stood in between me and Zeus as any mother figure would do. Zeus then walked up to Hera and slapped her.

"Get out of my way!" He yelled. She sat on the ground staring up at Zeus in awe. I ran to her with Coral still in my arms, I put Coral down, as she ran to her mother's side. I turned around and lifted myself up so that I was face to face with the king himself, my eyes burning with hatred (Quite literally, actually I found out later that if I get extremely mad my eyes will start burning with yellow flames. Cool, right? Well, maybe not so much if you're on the other side of that.)

"YOU DID NOT JUST HIT MY MOTHER!" I yelled, drawing attention from the many creatures outside.

Zeus and Poseidon stared at me, Percy and Hestia didn't even seem fazed. That's when I did something I never thought I would have ever done. I slapped Zeus. I simply lifted my hand and slapped the king of the immortals across the face like I had seen him do to Hera. The burning left my eyes and I stared down at my hand as I had just murdered someone.

I watched as Zeus slowly walked over towards his throne, gave out a long loud sigh and slumped down in it. He isn't even mad! I just slapped him for goodness sake. I slowly lowered myself down to the ground and continued to stare at my hands.

"I-I-I, I'm so s-sorry," I said shakenly.

"Don't be, I deserved it. I've been so overwhelmed with everything I needed someone to smack some sense into me," Zeus explained, "I guess I was just kind of surprised when Hestia told me that Hera had a child, along with, well you."

"Wait, you knew?!" Hera and I said simultaneously.

"Well yes, actually. This morning when it seemed something was troubling Hera, I had asked Hestia for some answers," He explained. We just sat there in silence for a little while to let everything that had just happened sink in.

Poseidon took this time to speak up, "Wait, so Hera has two children?" Ugh, he has as much seaweed in his brain as his son does.

"Um, not quite," I said, "Coral's her daughter while I'm just someone Hera has taken care of since I was fourteen."

"Ha, Coral. I like the name," Poseidon responded.

Of course, he does, I thought.

"Well, can we talk about the reason we came here, it's kind of getting late and I don't want to miss dinner," said Percy.

Hestia spoke up this time, "Ah, yes, there is nothing we can do about that. Trish is special, even if Hera hadn't cursed her, she still would have been different." That comment about me being special had just made my day. One of the Immortals thought I was special. But at the same time, it kinda made me feel weird.

"What I mean by that is, Trish is powerful and us gods and goddesses can't do anything about it. It is even possible that she could one day destroy us as we know it. With her special ability to pull apart molecules, she could quite literally pull us apart as well," Hecate finished and we just stared at her.

"Wait, s-so you mean to tell me, that me, Trish Sutton, a mortal, c-could destroy the I-Immortals?!"

"We really need to break that "Immortal" habit child," said Hera, annoyed. I glared at her, she just glared back, now with a sleeping Coral cradled in her arms.

"Well if we're all done here, I'd like to get back to camp before it gets dark, and so I don't miss dinner," said Percy. I just sighed and walked up to Hera.

"Goodbye my child," Hera said while handing me Coral and kissing me lightly on the forehead.

Percy and I walked out of the throne room waving goodbye to the inhabitants. As soon as we were out of the castle (Palace? Temple?). I let out a breath I had noticed I was holding.

"Well, that went well," Percy said gleefully, I just stared at him with one eyebrow raised, "What?" "It could've been worse," he said, shrugging his shoulders. Why does February 11th hate me?

Thanks once again for reading! And thanks a whole lot for the supportive comments, so far I've gotten maybe 4 or 5 reviews, and it doesn't seem like a lot, but it means the world to me. To be honest I didn't even think people would even read this lol, so thank you soooo much! Stay safe.
