Disclaimer:

I do not own the PJO characters. Oh and quick announcement, today is Lou Ellen's fourteenth birthday! Which if you've noticed, lines up with Trish's birthday, but that's because we're not good with coming up with fake stuff like that.

We boarded the plane. I wouldn't actually call it a plane though, it was really old and rusted, and made completely out of metal. If I thought the last plane was bad, I wonder how I was going to feel about this.

"Augh, do we have to ride this thing, it looks like a death trap," I complained while taking a seat, on something that at least looked like a seat.

"Yes. Yes, we do," Calypso said as she too took a seat.

"Oh, come on, it won't be that bad," Jamie said trying to calm me down, it wasn't working.

I stared at him for a short minute. "I wasn't comfortable on the actual plane, how do you think I'm going to be on this," I said gesturing around the death trap that was about to take us up 200 feet in the air.

Just then the plane engine started, and I knew I was going to die. It kind of sputtered to life like it was already about to die.

I then got off my "seat" and dramatically laid on the floor. "I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die," I repeated.

"Will you stop being so dramatic," Calypso said, rolling her eyes for the 100th time.

I looked at her, "No, no I won't. You're the one who put me on this piece of scrap metal, so you're going to have to put up with me. So ha!"

Calypso once again rolled her eyes and started staring out the window. "You know, we're about to take off so I wouldn't be on the floor if I were you," Calypso said not taking her eyes off of sight outside.

I grumbled but got up anyway. Jamie then came over to me and sat down beside me. "We should have gotten something to eat while we were there," he said.

"We're about to die and you're worried about food?"

"We're not about to die, Trish."

"How do you know?" I said, raising my eyebrows and crossing my arms.

"Because, we're already in the air," Jamie said gesturing towards the closest window.

"Holy Hera, how?"

"I was able to distract you long enough," Jamie said as he leaned down and put his face extremely close to mine.

I took my hand and put it in between our faces and pushed him away. I then stuck my tongue out at him and he returned the gesture.

"Hey, I think you should get some rest, you've used your powers a lot today and I don't want you to pass out in the middle of a battle or something," Jamie said concerningly.

"Mmm, I was just thinking the same thing," I said as I rested my head against the metal wall of the aircraft.

Soon enough I was fast asleep, but unfortunately for me, I was provided with yet another dream.

I was once again on top of a tall mountain, but instead of being in complete darkness, I saw a faint red-orange light. The light seemed to be talking to me in a small voice, but as the light got brighter, I could hear that it was the same voice from before.

I couldn't quite hear what the voice was saying. After the light got so close that I could barely see, I could finally make out what it was saying. It said, "You shall suffer the wrath of Nemesis."

My eyes widened, did she just say Nemesis?

Thanks for reading! {FYI I'm going to start putting AN as in Author's Note, so I don't have to keep putting my own name when I want to say something.} AN: Sorry that this chapter is so short but my parents had just gotten me the PJO series and I haven't read them for so long that I haven't been able to put the book down. Also shoutout to Wise Girl for posting a very nice review, so thanks for that and we hope you're all staying safe.
