Dear Mr. Potter,
We at Gringotts have been informed that you are officially sixteen years of age. You will now be eligible to get your lordships and heirships. We would also like to discuss the matter of your Potter vaults with you. There seems to be some very strange activities going on with them as of recently. We have our assumptions on what it is but cannot confirm anything without you. Additionally, your presence is wanted at the Will reading of one Sirius Orion Black. Please get to Gringotts as soon as possible. If you decide to come now or are able to come now, this letter has been made into a portkey for your convenience. Simply say the word "Gringotts Gold" and you shall be transported to Gringotts main room floor.
'May your vaults fill with gold and your enemies fall by your blade.'
Griphook at
Gringotts Bank
A wave of emotions ran through Harry as he thought about what the letter from Gringotts stated. The bank has felt the need to send him a formal letter asking for him and to state that Sirius's will is going to be read. When Sirius was still alive, he told Harry that a letter was most likely going to be sent to his godson as said boy is the heir to the Ancient and Noble house of Black. Sirius also told Harry that the letter is written on paper that was bathed in Veritaserum. So, Harry was very much expecting this letter and trusted what it stated to the fullest. However, he did not expect Dumbledore to send him a letter not even two minutes after the one from Gringotts. When Harry opened the one from his headmaster, anger took its hold upon his face.
Dear Young Harry,
Please do not leave the Dursleys under any circumstances. You are placed there every Summer for your own good and lying about your state of health won't change that. I hope this letter reaches you safely and that you are safe in your cupboard under the stairs. Now, I do know about Sirius's Will reading and I will be taking your place at it. Ron, Hermione, and Ginnerva will be with me so do not worry about sending them letters. This is an order and as your Headmaster, I hope you'll listen to me. If you do not obey my command then there will be consequences. After all, I am sure you don't want another situation to happen that ends in somebody's death.
Sincerely your Headmaster,
Albus Dumbledore
The letter almost burnt itself when anger filled magic lashed out around Harry. 'Who the hell does Dumbledore think he is telling me not to go to the Will reading of Sirius. I have every right to see the will and no one is going to stop me. Especially when he is insulting me, calling me a damned liar, and bringing my supposed friends with him. Jokes on him, I have immediate access since the goblins gave me a port key.'
Harry's thoughts were cut short as he heard loud thumping coming towards him from the hall upstairs. A voice that sounded very gravelly and old followed directly after. "BOY! YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR WAKING ME UP SO LATE! I COULD HEAR YOU DOING MAGIC FROM MY BEDROOM. YOUR PUNISHMENT IS GOING TO BE THE WORST YOU HAVE EVER HAD IN YOUR FREAKISH LIFE!"
That charming voice happened to belong to the one and only Vernon Dursley. In Harry's case, it belongs to his tormentor of sixteen years. Realizing that the footsteps were getting louder, Harry did the only thing he could think of in that moment. He said the portkey words and was swished away in a swirl of glittering magic.
"Gringotts Gold!"

When Harry arrived in Gringotts, he was greeted by a passing goblin. "Good morrow Harry Potter."
Nodding his head at the goblin, Harry got up and surveyed the lobby of Gringotts. It seemed as though all of the goblins were doing their jobs and not many had made notice of his presence. Harry simply brushed that note aside for later and made his way towards the goblin that looked the most important.
"Excuse me sir, but could you please guide me to Griphook's office? He has sent me a letter asking for my presence and I would hate to keep a goblin waiting. My name is Harry Potter."
A look of surprise passed over the goblin's face and a smile formed from his once downturned mouth. Harry returned his smile with a nervous one of his own.
"Yes. Of course Mr. Potter. Griphook will be delighted to see you. Your visit was much expected by him. Please follow me to his office."
The goblin moved from behind his desk and began to lead Harry towards Griphook's office. They took three lefts and two rights before they finally reached a hallway lined with brown doors down both sides. At the very end of the hallway stood a tall black door lined with gold. On the front of the door was a silver nameplate that said 'Griphook' in a font Harry could barely read.
Turning towards the goblin, Harry voiced his gratitude. "Thank you for guiding me to Griphook's office. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to take me here yourself. May I ask your name before we part? I would like to remember who helped me."
Harry was once again given a look of pure surprise and then another smile arose upon the goblin's face.
"My name is Gornuk. It was truly a pleasure to be working with a wizard who is willing to be kind to us goblins. However, I must be going now. Griphook should be with you any moment now." As Gornuk walked away, Harry turned towards the door and knocked three times.
"Come in."
When Harry entered Griphook's office, he was greeted by a smiling goblin.
"Ahhh Mr. Potter. It is good to see you in good health and I am happy that you were able to come on such short notice. With the will reading being soon, we wanted to get in contact with you."
Harry's small smile slackened as he got closer to Griphook and a glossed over look was barely noticeable on his face.
"Yes. I did indeed get your letter and it brings me great sorrow and pain to know that someone so close to me seems to have died. The wound of Sirius dying is still very fresh and pain still covers my heart. It is almost like a part of me is missing," a blush formed on Harry's face, "I don't mean to ramble like this. Sirius just meant so much to me in the little time I knew him and I feel like we parted too soon."
A knowing look passed over Griphook's face as he listened to Harry describe the deep emotions he felt towards his father figure.
"Along with all of that, I noticed that you mentioned there being something strange going on with my vaults. " Griphook nods at Harry's words.
"I have my theories on why you feel the way you do towards Lord Black. However it is not my place to tell you those. Although I can answer any questions about your vaults. I understand your concern towards that particular topic and it makes me believe that my suspicions are true. You must understand though, I cannot release any information until you have taken a blood test. It is a simple test we do to every wizard who comes of age. It shows us your lineage, any things that control who you are, glamors, fake certificates, your inheritance, lordships and lastly, heirships. This test is very helpful, but I have to kick you out if you decide that the knowledge isn't worth taking a blood test."
Harry seemed to be in a small stunned silence. When he snapped out of it, Griphhok was holding a dagger in front of Harry's face and a piece of parchment lay in front of him. "If you do the test, you simply will need to drop five drops of fresh blood onto this paper and it will give us answers."
Grabbing the dagger, Harry decided to just slice his palm and form his hand into a fist so the blood would drip down without making too much of a mess. Oddly enough, he didn't feel any pain when the blade sliced his hand. Shaking his head, Harry watched as the parchment glowed golden as the very last drop of blood made its way onto the parchment. Harry moves his hand away slowly and looks at the paper in aw. Words had begun to form on the paper in a very elegant font that had gold and red color to it. Once the glow stopped, Griphook grabbed the paper and began to read it. When he was done, the paper was passed to Harry.

Once Harry finished reading the inheritance results, a cold shiver ran down his spine and raw anger formed in his heart. Silence rang loudly in the room as he processed the information.
'All of this time, I could've been with my real mum. I never needed to go to the Dursleys because they aren't my real family. Dumbledore forced me into an unloving family that I'm not even related to. He has manipulated my whole life to his liking. Now he's trying to prevent me from going to Sirius's Will reading for a reason he clearly won't tell me. It could have everything to do with the fact that my mum will be there. Perhaps old Dumbledick doesn't want his pawn learning of the truth. My only question is why? What would this do for him?'
As Harry's thoughts and feelings begin to build up, he slowly forgets where he is and tears well up in the corners of his emerald eyes.
'I've missed out on so much because an old man decided to mess with my life. I have a mate who probably needs me and I can't do anything for him. What's worse is the growing pain in my chest. Everything is crashing down around me. My life is a lie. I'm a true pure-blood. My godparents are people I've grown to supposedly hate.'
Harry's thoughts are pushed away as someone touches his right arm in a somewhat comforting manner. Looking to his right, Harry sees Griphook looking at him with a look of barely hidden sadness in his eyes. That simple look brought Harry back to true reality and he stopped crying.
"We will need to get all of those blocks, potions, and glamors removed from you. They are stunting your growth, covering up your true traits, and they are affecting your health. Your body is already going into a near shock state. So, we need to get this all removed as soon as possible. The whole process will be extremely painful so you might pass out. However, if we can get your mother here, it might help you heal better. Your veela will recognize the familial presence and will calm down. There is also a high chance that your mother has blocks and potions on him as well. Would it be alright for me to send a letter?"
A slow nod in affirmation was the only confirmation Griphook got as an answer to his question. Griphook simply nodded back in understanding. He then walked to his office door and opened it.
"I'll get the letter sent right away. For now, follow me to the cleansing room."
Harry got up from his seat and followed Griphook through the long Corridor. As they walked, Harry slowly began to have control over his emotions again and he could finally think clearer. He took a much needed deep breath and relaxed his muscles as they were very tense.
Harry Pov:
When we arrived at the cleansing room, I gave it a quick once over. The walls were a royal blue color and the floors were made of matt black colored tiles. The back wall was covered in bookshelves entirely and a comfortable looking chair sat in front of them. In the center of the room was a bed that had royal blue covers and a pillow of the same shade. Around the bed was a circle that no doubt held in magic when active.
"If you would like, you can go read by the mini library while I send a letter to your mother."
I accepted Griphook's offer and grabbed a book off one of the many shelves.

No One Pov:
Around twenty minutes after Harry began reading, his attention was taken away from his book. Griphook had come back and Remus was following close behind. The said werewolf had a confused look on his face but it went away as soon as he saw Harry. It was like an understanding had happened and Remus knew why he was contacted by the bank twice in one day. Regardless of why, Harry smiled at his mother.
"Good morning Moony! It's nice to know that you'll be here with me for the next little while." Harry did his best not to say mum.
A grand smile was immediately seen on Remus's face as he rushed quickly over to Harry and enveloped the sixteen year old boy into a tight hug.
"I've missed you so much Harry. You've grown so much since the last I saw of you. That sadness isn't fully consuming you as much as it was." The pure relief that came through in Remus's voice, broke down the walls that Harry had built since Sirius's death.
"I've been trying to get through this for all of you Moony. I never knew Sirius as long as you lot have but I felt so torn apart when he initially died. My mind, heart, body, and soul felt lost. I wanted so badly to go through the veil so I could be with him. But that wouldn't be fair to any of you, so I gave up the moment you held me back. A part of me is missing now though, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get it back." A single tear fell down Harry's face as he broke down and finally began to release all of his pent up emotions.
Remus seemed to still at that and pulled back so he could give his cub a once over. Harry's body was pale and sickly looking. His eyes are sunken in, the mystical shimmer of his shining emerald orbs was gone and in its place was a dull mucky green. His hair was limp and no longer held that somewhat untamable disheveled look. If Remus focused enough, he could even smell how long it had been since Harry had showered. Sadness shined above all throughout his young cub.
"Oh Harry. I wish you could've been able to tell me sooner. Never forget that I am always here for you no matter what. Not even Dumbledore can stop me from getting to you if you need me."
A teary eyed Harry looked at Remus with appreciation and hugged him tighter than the first time.
"I know the two of you have much more to discuss, but perhaps it could wait until after we get you both healed up?" Griphook looked only a little guilty as he interrupted the reunion of the two Potter-Lupin's.
Remus was the first to pull away and was only slightly embarrassed as he made sure there were no tears on his face. "Right. Of course. What do we need to do Mr. Griphook?"
"You and Mr. Potter will need to lay on the bed in the middle of Gringotts cleansing room. It has magically expanded so both of you should be able to fit on it."
Both Potter-Lupins nodded and went over to the lone bed that was now a full size mattress. As they finally got settled down, several healer goblins came in and formed a circle around the cot. Griphook then began to chant and the others soon followed his lead. Harry and Remus both felt weird for only a few moments as the magic worked its, well, magic.

Thank you to whoever is coming back and re-reading this story as I decided to change up the original plot. Hopefully this chapter sounds a whole lot better as I have been working on it for a couple months now. Between work and home life, it was a little hard to re-write this, but I hope you all enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing you in the next chapter!
