Arezu's Predicament : Chapter 6
Commander Kamado made good of his promise because when he heard Sylvern has gained full recovery, he quickly called her to his office and asked for her debriefing from her mission quelling Lord Kleavor's frenzy. Adaman and Irida still looked worriedly at her while Sylvern just went through with it and told the Commander everything that happened at Grandtree Arena.
After she was finished, Kamado only hummed and said with a chastise tone, "You should be more careful next time. See to it that you won't get hurt again in your future missions."
Sylvern bit inside her cheek before nodding. It's not like she wanted to get hurt in the first place.
"Now, there's a new mission for you." Commander Kamado said to Sylvern. Sylvern looked up, interest within her eyes after almost two weeks been cooped up in the village, "I want you to check on Ursaluna on Crimson Mirelands. Ursaluna's warden told Irida that he has started to act strangely for a couple of days. Your new mission is to check on Ursaluna and solve whatever is bothering him. You are dismissed, Captain Cyllene will tell you more about the mission."
Sylvern only nodded, "Yes, Sir." She caught the exchange worried looks between the two clan leaders so she gave them a smile to assured them that she's alright.
Now to convince everyone that she is alright was a whole nother problem..
"Don't worry Uncle Ingo, Wyrdeer will be with me all the time. Luxray, Rowlet, and Vaporeon too. I just going to research some things so I can reach my second star before I'm allow to go to Crimson Mirelands. I'm going to be okay Uncle Ingo, pleeease?" Sylvern pleaded. She didn't really need Ingo's permission on her work, but the thought of going behind his back after her injury didn't sound very good to her, so here they are.
Ingo didn't respond for a few good minutes making the child unconsciously shuffled her feet impatiently. Ingo noticed the habit and sighed, "Alright.. Since Rei can't accompany you to Obsidian Fieldlands and I can't postpone my work either.. I guess it will be okay to let you go there with Luxray keeping an eye on you. Do you know why the Commander wants you to reach your second star so quickly?"
"Uh.. No? I think he just wants me to progress quickly on my work as Survey Corps Member because the other fields are a bit more troubling so he only wants higher ranking ones to observe there." Sylvern felt bad for lying, but she did tell him about Crimson Mirelands, just.. not about Ursaluna. If she told him that, she has a feeling Ingo will start a fight with Commander Kamado and Sylvern didn't want that. She's 7 already, she can do this.
All along the way when they travel from Aspiration Hills to the other side of Worn Bridge, Luxray was side-eyeing her like he knew she was hiding something. Sylvern didn't want to hide things with her pokemon, but Ingo can understand pokemon as well and if they knew- or if Luxray knew, they will tell Ingo immediately and it will end up with a fight with Commander Kamado again. Every plan Sylvern has about telling Ingo or her pokemon always end up with imaginary fight between Ingo and Commander Kamado so she stopped thinking about it and do her research work.
Around late afternoon, after Sylvern managed to catch the alpha Rapidash and bid Wyrdeer goodbye for the day, she saw Rei was running towards her while yelling out, "Sylvern! I heard from Professor Laventon that you were asked to get your second star so you can go to Crimson Mirelands and check on Ursaluna. Is it true?"
Luxray, Rowlet, and Vaporeon simultaneously looked at her. Luxray's with a pointed look. The three of them weren't with her when she got her orders from the Commander and the flaw in her plan that she overlooked was no matter what she did to make Ingo won't end up fighting the Commander was that her pokemon will know it sooner or later.
And from the way they looked at her it seems 'later' was a bad idea.
"Yeah Rei.. Did Professor send you here?" Sylvern asked meekly while Luxray seemed to glare holes on her back with his very pointed look.
Rei noticed and he connected the dots immediately, "You didn't tell any of them, did you?"
Sylvern threw her hands up in the air in 'I give up' manner, "Then what am I suppose to do? If I told them before, they're going to tell Uncle Ingo and he wouldn't agree with Commander's orders. You know I have to work if I want to stay at the village Rei, I don't think I have a choice in that.."
Her defeated tone and her perceptive mind were the ones stopping Luxray from glaring at her. He knew she has no choice and her work is hard to be done, but that's still didn't mean she could outright lie with them.
Then again.. Sylvern is just a child. A young small child who didn't really have that much perspective about the world she lived in with just 7 years of her age and her choice was limited.
Luxray nuzzled Sylvern softly while Rei caught up on her train of mind on his own, "The Commander tells you that all the time, huh?.."
Sylvern nodded defeatedly, "I don't think he likes me that much.."
"I don't think he likes anyone that much." Rei muttered loudly enough for Sylvern to hear, "Don't worry Sylvern, no matter what happens I will always by your side and I think I can say the same about your 'Uncle' Ingo."
Sylvern looked up to him with hopeful eyes, "Really?"
"Yeah," Rei replied easily, "What are friends for? Besides, you're like my little sister already and I'm your mentor in Survey Corps. I'm responsible for you that much." He ruffles her head, skewing her bandana slightly making the child laughed, "I could maybe say the same about your pokemon. From many others, I don't think you should lie to them. I'm not that close with my pokemon myself, but I think yours thought of you as family if the recent two weeks of your recovery were any indication. They barely left your side and they're always with you when you do your work. The least you can do is to trust them."
Sylvern looked at her three pokemon who looked surprised with what Rei had said but agree wholeheartedly. They looked at Sylvern with so much trust and determination along with protectiveness to the child, the least she could do is to trust them with her problems.
She was not entirely alone after all.
Sylvern looked down, ashamed with what she had hidden from them. Rei wisely stood back letting the four of them have their moments while he attended to his own pokemon.
Rowlet and Vaporeon moved first and nuzzled Sylvern which made the girl slightly laughed, but when she looked at Luxray's patient warm eyes she looked down again.
"I'm sorry.. after all you've done for me, I should've trust you all more.. Can you.. forgive me? I'll try to promise not to lie again.." she said earnestly which even without that said, her pokemon have already forgiven her. They can read her eyes and body language better than humans after all, and Sylvern was truly sorry.
Luxray joining in nuzzling her cheek which Sylvern returned by nuzzling back and hugged his face with her tiny arms. The black mane pokemon noticed a telltale of tears forming so he licked her face to make the child happy again and it worked wonderfully when he heard the gleeful laugh of the small child.
Rei looked a little far away from where Sylvern was standing and being nuzzled by her pokemon. He smiled softly in satisfaction before looking at his two pokemon, Pikachu and Mime Jr., "We have a long way to catch up to her level, but I think we can do it if we don't give up. What do you say guys?"
Mime Jr. agreed easily while Pikachu looked somewhat bored but a tiny smirk was formed in his face. It was a good sign of agreement for all Rei care.
Seeing that Sylvern seems to be cheerful enough, Rei called her, "Let's go back to the Professor to see if you can get your second star Sylvern! With that short legs of yours we will probably arrived at midnight back to the village!"
Sylvern scowled with humor if that's even possible before replying wryly, "If we do, I'll tell Professor you jinx it for us, and I'm going to be taller than you Rei! Sooner or later!"
"Probably later with the progress you're going," Rei's smirk widened when she pouted, "Come on Sylvern, let's get moving. I'm not joking about your short legs."
"And I'm not joking to tell on Professor Laventon, Rei!"
"You wouldn't."
"Oh I would. Race ya'!" Sylvern gleefully ran with her pokemon tails behind her while Rei gaped in surprise when she ran past him.
"No fair! You didn't say start!"
"I'm not trying to!"
The two children laughed gleefully while racing back to the village with their pokemon following behind closely but content.
After showing Professor Laventon her pokedex, he said happily that she could probably get her second star today and that boost Sylvern's legs to go faster to the village. Upon arriving, she was stopped by a red haired woman from the Diamond clan.
"Hi There! Are you Sylvern? The Galaxy member who's going to take Ursaluna's case?" When Sylvern nodded she smiled widely, "I'm Arezu! The Diamond clan's warden for Lilligant. I never thought the Commander would order someone who's not even 10 to do the mission. Are you really that good? I wanted to see how good you really are but my battle skills are not that good either, so-"
Arezu continued ranting to Sylvern whom stayed silent the whole time, learning a few new things about the red haired in front of her. Rei looked annoyed though, but he didn't want to risk the Galaxy's connection with the Diamond clan so he stays silent as well and waited with Sylvern.
When Arezu noticed the two children didn't say anything she realized she had ranted too far, "Sorry! Sorry.. I- It's just really fun to meet someone new and a very talented one at that, I can't help myself." She grinned and Sylvern offered her a smile as well.
But Rei was clearly impatient and quickly took hold on one of Sylvern's arms before saying to Arezu politely, "It's okay Arezu. But if you don't mind we really need to hurry to the Captain's office so Sylvern can continue on her mission with Ursaluna."
"Oh.. okay, I'll see you sometime later then?" Arezu asked hopefully. Sylvern just gave her a sheepish smile and a small nod when Rei proceed to dragged her to Galaxy Hall while their little pokemon parade behind followed them.
Arezu can only blinked.
"Huh.. the child is more interesting than I thought.."
After receiving her second star last night, Sylvern was ready to investigate the Crimson Mirelands for Ursaluna. But first..
"Do you think you can give this to Uncle Ingo? Pleeease? I'll give some berries for it." Sylvern tried to bribed the Staraptor at the pasture which was one of the pokemon she caught. He looked miffed to see her but he seems to relent a little when Sylvern offered him some berries and promised him more if he agrees to deliver this letter to the hunched man in black coat at Coronet Highlands since the child can't deliver it on her own because she didn't have enough 'stars' to go there.
Staraptor wasn't eager to agree but seeing the desperate look on the child's face, he can't help but relent at that and finally nodded reluctantly.
"Really? Thank you! Here, this is for the energy you need to fly there. I hope it's enough for now, I can get you more later when you come back and after I got back from Crimson Mirelands." Sylvern gave him quite enough berries to make him feel rather full. The Staraptor felt incredulous to see the kind gesture from the child and instead focus on his task to get the letter to it's destination.
He didn't know why but he trusted the girl. Just like she trusted him to come back even when he could easily fly away far from the village. It was a blind trust from the child since he could sense the protest from 'Marie' the keeper of the pastures, but that was enough for Staraptor to wanted to go back here and observe the child more. She was a mystery to them pokemon, but an interesting one. Just like her quirk to asked him to send a letter. Oh well, he could observed her more when he stays at the pastures and other pokemon the child had caught agreed to stay as well.
Besides, no one can disagree that a child with a Luxray following closely behind her was an interesting sight to behold.
So with that thought, Staraptor flew up to the sky with the letter in his claw, flying to Coronet Highlands.
"You really letting it go?" Marie asked for the umpteenth time since Sylvern went to the pastures to see Staraptor. Sylvern just smiled confidently to the keeper,
"Don't worry, he'll be back soon." Was all Sylvern offered before she herself went to get ready on her journey to Crimson Mirelands. Professor Laventon will be the only one to guide her for today since Rei was busy doing his own research work.
And the Commander's warning to let her do her own work alone.
Sylvern didn't know what the Commander's problem with her was, but she didn't think she had done anything to get him so stern at her like that.
"-vern, do you understand?" Professor Laventon asked to get the child's attention who sheepishly looked at him, knowing full well she didn't hear what he just said.
"I.. kind of spaced out back there Professor.. can you repeat it please?" Sylvern asked with a sheepish smile, Professor Laventon can only shook his head in fond exasperation.
"You know you can call Wyrdeer even from here right? With the calling from your flute, he wasn't bound to only Obsidian Fieldlands. He will help you track faster in this terrain, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help you."
Wyrdeer sure did. After the first impression he got from her that the child was an accident prone and was proven right when she got injured after helping Lord Kleavor? Wyrdeer can't help but keep a close eye on the child.
"Really? I thought he was only exclusively for Obsidian Fieldlands' terrain only." Sylvern said with amazement that the pokemon was willing to travel miles just to let her ride on his back.
And all with one flute.
Professor Laventon chuckled, "Of course. Mai had asked him to help you out on your research work as well. Now, have fun and be safe okay?"
Sylvern nodded enthusiastically, "Okay! I'm off Professor!" she waved cheerfully while playing her flute to call on Wyrdeer.
Sylvern could just ride on Luxray's back to travel, but the tall black mane pokemon has to admit that Wyrdeer can cover more grounds than he does. Luxray and Wyrdeer had also reached an agreement that Luxray will stay in his pokeball as long as Wyrdeer agreed to keep Sylvern safe, then Luxray won't slow them down.
Sylvern didn't know the details of the agreement, but the child knew she shouldn't asked and leave it at that.
Wyrdeer arrived with an amazing speed and Sylvern has to wonder just how close he was with her when she called him to arrived that fast.
Wyrdeer just snorted in amusement when she said it out loud and kneel down on four knees to help the child get on to him. The problem with Sylvern than his other riders was that the child was too short to reached his back, even when he kneel down on all of his legs.
Luckily, Luxray seemed to sense the child dilemma before popping out of his pokeball to grabbed on Sylvern's tunic scruff and get her on to Wyrdeer's back gently before nodding to the amused Wyrdeer and went back to his pokeball.
Sylvern blinked but quickly smiled brightly, "Thanks Luxray! Now full speed ahead Wyrdeer!"
Wyrdeer gave a noise of agreement and started to ran forward with the gleeful child on his back. They are off to Solaceon Ruins.
Staraptor arrived at Coronet Highlands and found the hunched black coated man near one of the high cliffs. The Sneasler who was always around him made a noise of greeting when seeing him and wander off around there. Ingo just look up at the Staraptor with confusement and expected wariness.
Before Ingo could get his pokemon out, Staraptor dropped the letter on top of his hat, halting his movement and reached for the letter instead. While Ingo was busy figuring out who sent him a letter, Staraptor landed nearby and preened his feathers. Gliscor who noticed that Staraptor means no harm to them, went out of his pokeball to socialized.
Ingo finally opened the letter and read the child writing on it,
Dear Uncle Ingo,
I'm sorry I lied about Commander Kamado's orders, he told me to investigate about Ursaluna's strange behaviour and solve it. I'm really sorry, I just don't want you to fight with the Commander. And I have to do this if I want to keep my stay in the village Uncle Ingo. Pleeease, forgive me? I promise I won't hide things like that from you again.
Love,
Sylvern
P.S : Can you give Staraptor some berries? I promised him a few after I come back later, but I think he needs a few of them for energy to come back to the village. Any berries is fine Uncle Ingo, Staraptor's not picky. Thanks Uncle Ingo!
Ingo smiled softly at the letter. Sylvern didn't remember him as her uncle, her memories were seemed more lost than his, but the child felt the connection with him and felt that she needs to tell him everything (which he honestly appreciates) even though with her amnesia she didn't have to.
Ingo looked at the Staraptor and his Gliscor who talked with each other before they noticed his glance at them. Staraptor was ready to leave again when he had made sure the letter was given and read by the hunched man, but Ingo stopped him for a while to gave him some berries which Staraptor suspected was the child's doing but he's not going to complain when he benefits from it so he took the berries gratefully then flew back to the village.
Ingo has to admit, his niece has big trust and confidence in her pokemon and that transfers well to the pokemon themselves to trust and protect the child.
Ingo smiled to the sky. He was grateful for his niece, he really was. He just hoped that even if they're not at their time, that his niece still can have good days in her life.
The Pearl clan Warden of Ursaluna, Calaba and her pokemon, Bibarel, were in the Solaceon Ruins observing the stolen stone fragment when she saw a child on a Wyrdeer walked in, not noticing the elderly woman at first.
Calaba in turned, observed the child. She was young. Too young for working even. If it was anyone else, Calaba would've turned them down the moment she saw them. But, this was a child. Even Calaba was not that heartless to send them away immediately.
So she choose to hear what the girl has to say first.
When Sylvern got down from Wyrdeer, her attention was not on Calaba, but on the stone fragment.
She looked at it with confusement and tilted her head,
"Why is there a piece missing?"
Calaba was surprised, usually people would've stated what they're here for first and not noticed the problem in front of them. Apparently the child was in no hurry to complete her mission which Calaba has a hunch what it was.
She didn't know if the child was simply oblivious about how important her mission is or she just simply doesn't care that much, but then again this is a small young child she's thinking about and from the looks of it the child was incredibly curious with everything. Calaba can't find any fault in that.
"Hello! My name is Sylvern. Are you Ursaluna's warden?"
Calaba looked down to the earnest silver grey eyes of the child, "Yes. Was Commander Kamado the one who sent you? To help Ursaluna?"
"Uhm.. yes. But I think-" Sylvern stopped herselfs while looking at Calaba nervously. Calaba raised an eyebrow while Wyrdeer slightly nudged Sylvern from behind to say what she was thinking.
"Uh.. Sorry, but- Is that piece stolen somehow?"
Calaba's eyes widened so quickly the child can't help but took a step back with placating hands, "I- It's just a hunch, but- you look so sad and was looking at it for some time before I came in. I guess this stone fragment is really important to you?"
Calaba sighed but nodded, "I've been reading it for years since I've become a warden. But I can't ever understand it's meaning. Then this morning, the piece was stolen. I don't know who or why but I'm going to search for them. You best go home young girl. I don't need Galaxy team's help to help Ursaluna. I already have his medicine on hand."
"O..kay..?" Sylvern looked unsure and nervously to the pokemon beside her, but Wyrdeer just snorted and refused to say anything else.
"If you don't want help with Ursaluna then you want help with the stone fragment? It'll be easier to find it with two people instead of one." Sylvern suggested nervously confused. She was sure the Commander's mission was about Ursaluna, but the elderly woman surely needs some help.
"Are people from the sky always help strangers around? You and Warden Ingo are similar in some ways." Calaba can't help but snapped a little. But the information only intrigued Sylvern more,
"Uncle Ingo fell from the sky as well?"
Calaba was surprised once again, "You're his niece?"
Sylvern shook her head, "No.. Not really. I barely remember anything before falling from the sky. But it felt right to call him 'Uncle' so I did. Uncle Ingo really fell from the sky as well?"
Calaba took a moment but nodded. She didn't offer anything else after that and Sylvern didn't ask anything because Volo suddenly walked in to meet them.
"Well if it isn't Sylvern the small child from the sky! And Warden Calaba. What brings you here Sylvern? Are you interested in the history and legends of Hisui as well?" he asked with his usual pleasant smile.
Sylvern just smiled slightly, "Not really.. I'm just going to help Mrs. Calaba with the missing stone fragment. Have you seen it Mister Volo?" she pointed to the blank part of the fragment.
Volo looked up with thoughtful look before saying, "Maybe. But if you want my answer, you'll have to grace me with one of your battles Sylvern." He smirked.
Sylvern slumped visibly, "Again?" she didn't really like doing pokemon battles, but her Rowlet seemed to enjoy it so.. oh well.
Volo nodded, "What do you say Sylvern? I'll give you your answer after you battle me."
Sylvern sighed before letting Vaporeon out. She didn't know if Volo will battle her with one or more pokemon, but Rowlet will be the closure if he did bring more than one.
Vaporeon wasn't that eager to battle as well, but managed to win against Togepi but lose against Gible. Rowlet was eager for it and with some scratches here and there managed to win against Gible.
"You did it Rowlet!" Sylvern exclaimed happily but then a light engulfed Rowlet's whole body.
Rowlet evolved to Dartrix was what the arc phone said.
"You.. evolve?.." Sylvern looked to the new Dartrix whom clearly excited for his new form, "You evolved! That's awesome Rowlet!" Sylvern went to hugged Dartrix who slightly chided that his name is not Rowlet again.
Sylvern's answer was a laugh and a tighter hug, "It will need some time to get use to." Sylvern realized a little disappointingly that she can't carry Dartrix around like when he's a Rowlet. She's not strong enough and Dartrix's height reached up above her waist easily enough with his new form.
Volo chuckled while Calaba slightly smiled, "Congratulations. It seems the battle triggered his evolution. Now, as promised I'll give you my answer. Follow me out to the abandoned campfire across the river Sylvern. I think I saw something strange there that you could investigate."
Sylvern easily agreed before getting on Wyrdeer. This time Dartrix helped her up to his back before all of them went out to the said campfire. Before Volo followed out though, Calaba stopped him.
"Whatever you do, don't endanger that child Volo. She's just a child." She said sternly. Volo just smiled assuringly before followed Sylvern out slowly with his walk.
Calaba can only sighed. Hopefully both of them won't do anything reckless in the future.
Sylvern and Wyrdeer arrived first at the abandoned campfire and the child saw an alphabet looking black pokemon.
"Wow.. what are you?" Sylvern asked curiously before throwing the pokeball gently. She caught it quite easily and her arc phone immediately told her that it was an Unown.
"Unown like 'Unknown'? huh.." Sylvern wondered slightly before suddenly there was smoke everywhere. It obscured her sight and she panic immediately, but her three pokemon was quick to got out to protect their human and Wyrdeer stood closer to the child.
When the smoke clears up, it reveals three people. The three women have blue paints over their faces making some kind of mark and they all smirked down to her.
"Who are you?" was all Sylvern can asked out. The 4 pokemon surround her protectively while growling at the three women.
But before they introduced themselves, Volo arrived to rain on their parade, "I see you found the three bandits Sylvern."
"Bandits?" Sylvern asked him, "Like stealing people stuff? Did you steal the stone fragment? If you did, can you return it please? It's important for Mrs. Calaba." She asked the bandits innocently like they were old friends or something.
Her pokemon and Wyrdeer looked at her incredulously. The bandits looked at her in disbelief. While Volo only looked at the scene with a knowing smile on his face.
"Are you kidding me?!" one of the bandits with blue hair screamed, "I'm Coin, and I'm going to beat you in battle for that. Toxicroak, let's do this!" she let out her pokemon who grinned maliciously at them.
Luxray walked forward with a growl, thunders started rumbling in the sky making it grey. From the looks of his face, he was furious.
The battle started like usual, but one thing about Toxicroak is that he's poisonous. And Luxray got hit with it.
"Luxray!" Sylvern cried out in fear. The tall pokemon was poisoned and staggering to be on his feet. Purple like signs was on his nose. Toxicroak and Coin only looked on with wicked smug smiles on their faces.
Dartrix felt the rising anger in Sylvern and responded to it. His aura was darker and there was a dark look plastered on his face which didn't suit the young pokemon at all. Luxray tried to stop him, but Dartrix already moved and attacked. Sylvern didn't stop him.
What happens next was beyond what others thought.
Leaf Blade and other grass attacks attacked Toxicroak mercilessly. Dartrix acted upon Sylvern's anger and Coin didn't even have a chance to utter a word before Toxicroak was on the ground, unmoving.
Dartrix was still responding to Sylvern's anger when he was upon the fallen pokemon and was about to deal a final blow.
"No! Stop!" Coin desperately cried out.
Luxray acted immediately and grabbed Dartrix's scruff to stop him. The younger pokemon struggled wildly in his hold but Luxray hold firm and sent a little spark to paralyze him a little. Wyrdeer was the one who snapped Sylvern back to herself by nudging firmly to her back and arm.
The child's anger died down, but her hateful gaze still trained upon Coin and the fallen Toxicroak.
"Leave." Was what Sylvern muttered in the tensed silence while her silver grey eyes glared sharply to Coin.
Coin flinched back while calling back her Toxicroak. Charm looked on still with her flat stare but noticed the anger was still silently brewing within the child. The child herselfs was not dangerous to them, but her pokemon sure was and her Vaporeon was an inch from responding to the child's anger as well.
"We'll leave for this time. Clover, leave that worthless wall fragment as well. It won't bring anything to us even if we keep it." Charm said with her steady voice before all three smoke bombed their way out, leaving the wall stone fragment there.
Sylvern was still silently simmering with anger while glaring at the wall fragment. Volo snapped her out of it when he touched her shoulder.
"You should give this potion to Luxray. It will heal his poison." He smiled slightly at the child whose anger immediately died down at the mention of Luxray and quickly took the potion with a grateful nod and gave it to Luxray.
Luxray was healed immediately and Dartrix seemed to have come to his senses again before looking down apologetically. Luxray responded by licking his face and assured him he was alright before doing the same to Sylvern who laughed a little teary at the affection.
Volo only looked on with an intrigued look on his face, unnoticed by everyone, "Fascinating.." he muttered to himself.
Later on, they were back to Solaceon Ruins and gave Calaba the stolen fragment back. Calaba had read the fragment that says 'All lives touch other lives to create something anew and alive.' which Calaba translated that she does need help from others. But looking at the child, she noticed she was troubled with something.
"Is something wrong Young One?" Calaba asked kindly. Sylvern snapped up to look at her and quickly shook her head 'no' and didn't offer anything else. Calaba knew that the child was deeply troubled with something but even Volo didn't say anything so she didn't pry.
So she led her to the place where Ursaluna was and asked her to calm him down so she could apply the medicine she made for him. Sylvern silently agreed and sent out Vaporeon. She refused to send either Luxray or Dartrix out to battle again for today. Wyrdeer can only looked on worriedly.
It was an easy fight because Ursaluna seemed like he was very dazed with something on his nose. Calaba figured out that it was probably the powder from Lilligant which was the Lady Pokemon that Arezu take care of.
With that information, Calaba sent the child off back to Commander Kamado to report about it, but can't help but feel worried when she saw that the child seemed like she was still in a daze of something.
Hopefully she'll be alright.
As expected, Commander Kamado ordered Sylvern back to Crimson Mirelands immediately to quell Lilligant's frenzy while adding Adaman's request to find Arezu who was lost in Crimson Mirelands as well.
Adaman didn't want to burden the child more with the task, but Arezu was vital to find if she wanted to quell Lilligant's frenzy. But Sylvern just took the order silently before going out again to finish it.
It didn't take long for Sylvern to find Arezu with Ursaluna's help. Wyrdeer was there as well and shared a worried glance with Ursaluna when they realized Sylvern was still troubled with what happened earlier. They didn't know how to help and the troubling thoughts only bring trouble when she quelled on Lilligant's frenzy.
Thankfully, even though Sylvern didn't leave unscathed, the worst thing that happened to her was that she got so sleepy from Lilligant's powder she couldn't stay awake to walked down the stairs.
Lilligant who already turned back to normal, looked at Sylvern apologetically while caressing the child's head with her leaf hand then helped carry her up to Luxray's back since both Ursaluna and Wyrdeer can't bring her back without at least someone to ride them as well to keep Sylvern stays on their back.
Luxray ran back to the village while Dartrix and Vaporeon were out as well to keep Sylvern from falling from his back. Dartrix was holding on to her and him while Vaporeon ran beside him while also keeping an eye on the child.
Arriving at the village, Vaporeon went to get either Professor Laventon or Rei to helped them with Sylvern while Luxray stays near the pasture with Dartrix and the still heavily sleeping Sylvern.
Staraptor noticed them back and immediately sensed that something was slightly wrong with the child.
"She'll be okay." Luxray assured him after he explained what happened, "It was the powder that made her so sleepy. I'm sure she'll wake up soon and gave you the promised berries."
But Staraptor didn't think about the berries anymore. He knew the child was going to be fine and she was just sleeping right now.
Then why did he feel something bad brewing inside her?
A.N : Hopefully you enjoy it, see you next time!
