"Just come with me and you'll see," Damian smiled.

After we found Katie and made sure Coral was going to be okay, we headed over to where the camp vans were. "What are we doing over here?" I asked curiously.

"Stealing a van so we can get into the city," Damian said as if it was nothing. He tried pulling on the handle but it wouldn't budge.

"Damian, it's locked."

"I know that, I'm just trying to get it open," he said as he pulled harder. Finally he got annoyed and went to punch the window of the vehicle.

"Hey, no," I said, lifting my hand, stopping Damian from causing any damage, "how about I just do this." I walked up to the door and used my curse to push down the unlock button.

"Well why hadn't we done that sooner?" Damian asked.

"Because I liked to see you struggle," I teased.

"Wow, thanks," he responded sarcastically.

"You're very welcome. Now get in the van."

Damian drove while I sat shotgun. The whole ride we laughed and talked about our previous adventures in and out of camp.

"S-so you mean to tell me that your sister, at two years old, ran into the infirmary, cursed Devan, then ran back out with Katie tailing her?" Damian said between laughs.

"Yeah."

"Do you know why she was trying to get away from Katie?"

"No clue," I said, which made us crack up even more.

Once we had calmed down, Damian said, "Well we're almost there."

"Almost where?" I asked.

"You're just going to have to find out," Damian smiled.

"Oh come on! Just tell me," I begged.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because."

"Because why?"

"Will you just stop," Damian laughed again, "we're here."

I looked out the window and couldn't believe what I saw. It was my alleyway.

"H-how did you know?" I asked.

"I asked the Stoll's," he said, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

We both got out of the van and walked into the alley. "There are so many memories here," I said. "Like when I taught Coral to walk, or the many times I was robbed. Oh this one time, this one guy robbed me during the night and he scared me so much that I woke up and punched him in the nose without even thinking," I rambled. "I loved this place," I sighed.

"It's an alley though," Damian said.

"I know, but it's where I found Alex and Coral, it's where I learned more about my curse, I spent a year in this alley."

I gasped. "What?" Damian asked concerned.

"I just remembered someone!" I grabbed Damian's hand and rushed out of the alley straight to the cafe.

Thanks for reading! AN: in the next chapter I'll put the discord thing for anyone who would like to join. Anyway, we hope you all are doing well! Stay safe :)
