My party was going great until people who were only there because they had too started acting up.
"Hey freak!" Someone called. I rolled my eyes as they all started laughing.
"Hey! Stop that!" Yelled Damian as he advanced toward the group.
"Damian, no," I said grabbing his arm.
"Trish, yes," he said as he shrugged me off.
"No, because then they will accuse you of being a bad guy."
"Well I'd rather it be me than you."
I watched as Damian walked over to the people who were just calling me names and started yelling at them.
"I hate people like that." I looked to who was standing beside me. It was Clarisse with a cup of punch in her hand.
"People like Damian or the ones who were just calling me a freak?" I asked her.
"Both," she stated flatly, "those people don't know who they're messing with, and you are more than capable of handling them yourself."
"Well it's not like I can stop him, and let them think what they want to think, if they end up unleashing my bad side, then that's their fault."
I watched as Damian yelled at the group, which was most of the camp. I couldn't hear what they were saying since they were on the other side of the arena now. I could tell things were getting heated though because people started to actually fight Damian. They began circling around him.
I sighed. "I need to go deal with this," I said to Clarisse as I began walking away.
"Hey!" I yelled. This got their attention immediately. "You guys need to stop! I have had enough of your crap. I've tried to peacefully talk some sense into you, I've tried ignoring you, yet nothing is working. So what? What do you want from me!?"
"We want you to leave," one of them laughed.
"Well guess what buddy, that isn't going to happen whether you like it or not! You guys need to stop saying that I'm going to kill you! I'm not! And if I did, you wouldn't be standing here right now! Let me ask you a question pointing to one of them, "did you choose to be a half blood?" I pointed to another, "or did you choose what family you were born in?" They both shook their heads. "Well news flash, neither did I! Now, I can leave this camp, I can go and let you fend against the monsters yourselves, or you can leave me the heck alone. Either way I'll be happy, if you choose for me to leave, you will also be happy but you will have no one to defend the camp but yourselves, and you did a great job with that when I was away. Or you can leave me alone, and I will leave you alone and I will also keep defending the camp. To be honest, I don't know if I want to stay-,"
"Fine!" Someone yelled out, "y-you can stay. B-but just don't let it get like it was a few years ago." They all seemed to shutter at that comment.
"Good, now leave Damian alone or someone will get hurt," I said as my eyes lit up as well as my hands. They seemed like a sea parting ways as they let Damian out of their circle. I smiled at him.
"Sooo," Damian smiled back, "that took a lot of guts."
"That took all my guts," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Well I'm sorry to tell you, but your party's going to have to end soon," Damian said, "it's almost capture the flag time."
Thanks for reading! AN: I have some very bad news :( Sydney is off at camp for five weeks, FIVE WEEKS I KNOW! Anyway, obviously she won't be able to edit for quite awhile. Oh and sorry for not posting yesterday, my laptop gave me quite a scare and I didn't want to use it yesterday.
