I do not own the PJO characters

I don't remember walking up to the house, but we were suddenly walking through the front door.

"Damian?" I said.

"Yeah?"

"Something sketchy is going on. This place was leveled years ago. There was nothing here but ash when I left."

We could hear yelling from the dining room as we rushed in, I was blown away at what I saw. It was my parents. But they didn't quite look right, they looked see-through, like a projection.

"What is going on?" I muttered. They didn't seem to notice us standing there, not even when Damian went up to them and waved his arm though their torsos.

I then realized what was happening when I heard my brother yelling. I rushed to where my brother was yelling outside my door. "You better get your butt out of there!" He yelled.

I grabbed Damian's hand as I rushed through my old bedroom door. Nothing could have prepared me for the scene inside.

It was me, crying in the corner of my room, gripping my blanket so hard my knuckles were turning white. The moment right before my life changed forever.

The explosion seemed to happen in slo-mo. A bright light slowly filled the room and just like that we were on top of a pile of my broken home.

I sank to my knees, eyes wide, and too shocked to do anything. Damian knelt down and wrapped me in his arms. We stayed like that for awhile until I heard Damian say, "Trish, wake up."

I turned to look him in the face, but he wasn't speaking. "Trish, wake up!" I heard again but a little louder. I looked around confused.

"Trish!"

This time my eyes shot open. I was in the infirmary, but how? I looked around to see that I was in the one bed, and on the other side of the building was Damian, in a hospital gown, being held back by at least 5 people.

"Damian?" I whispered. He was struggling, trying to get to me.

"Just let me see her!" He yelled.

"No," Will said, "she needs rest, she's not stable, and neither are you."

They continued to shove Damian away. I lifted my hand, causing the five guys to be shoved aside. Damian ran towards me.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he grabbed my hand.

"Y-Yeah, why? What happened?"

He pulled up a chair. "I-I don't know. The story is that we disappeared during the capture the flag game, we were found later that morning unconscious. But I had a dream."

I looked around at everyone staring at us. I pulled him down closer to me. "I did too." I whispered in his ear.

"Was it-?" Damian asked.

"My incident? Yeah." I said, Damian nodded.

"We'll talk about this later," he whispered.

Damian yawned. "Hey you need to rest," I said.

"I can't" he yawned again, "I need to make sure you're okay."

"I'm okay, I promise," I kissed the top of his head, "just rest a bit okay?"

He nodded as I gently laid his head on my stomach, soon after he fell asleep. I played with his hair a little, then I too fell into a dreamless sleep.

Thanks for reading! AN: sorry for the short break, I had a friend over for a few days and I didn't have a lot of time to type, but to make up for it I'm going to try and post four chapters tonight. Stay safe!
