Disclaimer:

I do not own the PJO characters. AN: So I started typing this chapter yesterday but wasn't able to finish because I was feeling a bit under the weather, but I'm fine now and here's the final product.

"That's the game plan?" I asked.

"Yeah, pretty much," Cal stated.

I scowled and crossed my arms like a child. "That's a stupid game plan."

"Well me have to be cautious, we don't know why the venti were after us," Damian said.

"We don't need to be cautious when we have this thing on our side," Leo said as he pointed to me.

"Call me a thing in more time and your nose is going back to the way it was," I growled.

"Whatever ice queen," Leo mocked.

Calypso slapped him on the head. "Leo will you stop with the ice jokes."

"Yeah dude, stop being such an-," Damian stopped himself and looked at me, I just raised my eyebrows. "Butt about it," Damian finished.

"Thank you. Anyways Leo is right, can't we just take a cab up there, you guys have me, it shouldn't be too hard."

As soon as I said that I knew I would regret it. In every single book written by the oracle Rick Riordan, whenever anyone said it shouldn't be too hard, something always goes sour.

"Thank you!" Leo exclaimed.

"Fine, we'll take a cab, but we still have to be careful," Damian said.

"Good with me," I said as I stood up and Coral grabbed my hand. We all walked out of the alley and into the street. Leo waved down a cab and we were off.

"Just take us to that hill," Calypso pointed out a large hill in the distance to the driver.

While on our way to the hill, we heard a thud on the roof of the cab. I peered into the passenger side mirror and saw a venti hanging on the roof and several more chasing the vehicle.

"Whatever you do," Calypso told the driver, "don't stop driving."

He kind of gave a small nod and swallowed really hard.

The next few minutes went in a blur. First the venti on the roof somehow rips it off, giving us a sky light. I took that one out easily, then I stood on the seat of the cab so I was halfway out the hole in the roof. The venti continued to come as I continued to turn them to mist. Hundreds of them came at us and were destroyed before we got to the hill.

Once at the hill we all ran as fast as we could up the hill to what Leo said was a secret entrance to the Camp. It looked like a giant pile of rocks, but nothing is ever what it seems.

Leo pressed in one of the rocks and a huge door opened in one of the rocks. Once inside we sat down to catch our breaths.

"Why?" I asked myself.

"Hm?" Damian asked.

"Why venti?"

"What do you mean?" Leo asked.

"Why are they sending hundreds of venti after us? I mean I can take them out as easily as I can get a glass of water."

"I don't know, maybe someone wanted to slow us down," Calypso said.

"Maybe, but we have to get to camp quickly, I don't think those venti will just sit out there and wait for us," I explained.

"First I want to IM frank so he knows we're coming," Leo said.

"He doesn't know yet!" I exclaimed.

"Um, no?" Leo said innocently.

"Doofuses," I muttered, "children of Hephaestus are doofuses."

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed. AN: once again I'm sorry for this being a day late. Stay safe!
