I do not own the PJO characters. AN: sorry for not posting in two days but I was sick, anyway I'm better and ready to continue making chapters.
After Leo finished talking to a very exhausted Frank and Hazel, we began down the tunnel.
"So do you know about how many secret tunnels there are going into the camp?" Damian asked Leo.
""No clue," Leo responded, "probably hundreds."
"There aren't that many," Cal said as she rolled her eyes.
"Close enough," Leo shrugged.
"You okay?" Damian whispered to me.
"I'm just a bit nervous is all. I just can't wait to see Percy and Annabeth, it's been so long for them."
"Hey Trish!" Leo yelled.
"Leo I'm right behind you, no need to yell."
"Oh. So can you give us a bit of light? I can't see anything."
"Sure." I willed myself to glow and soon enough the entire tunnel glowed with a yellow light.
"Thanks Trish, that really helps," Calypso said.
I felt Coral grip onto my hand. "So we're going to see Annabeth?" She asked me.
"Yup."
"Can you pick me up?" She asked.
Without even saying anything I picked the seven year old up and began to carry her. "Are you okay? You're acting a bit strange," I whispered into her ear.
"I'm fine, I just haven't seen Annabeth since her and Percy got married."
"Wait! They got married?" I said maybe a little too loudly.
"Yeah, did no one tell you?" Leo said.
""No!"
"Well yeah, they've been married for a little over four and a half years. They got married a few months after you disappeared," Calypso explained.
"Is this what you meant by things have changed?" I asked Leo.
He and Calypso glanced at each other. "Yeah."
I didn't catch on that they were hiding something from me since I was so nervous, but eventually I found out what they meant.
The sun blinded us as we stepped out of the tunnel. Once we were able to see clearly, we were met by a shocked Hazel with her hand over her mouth. A hand that had a ring, in fact.
"Y-you're alive," she muttered.
I looked at Leo and Cal. "You didn't tell her?"
"No, we thought it would be a good surprise," Leo smiled.
"Holy Hades, you're alive," Hazel said a little louder.
"At least I think I am," I joked.
Once she was out of her shock, she wrapped me in a big hug. "You haven't grown at all," she smiled.
"Well to me I was in there for only a few minutes, came out and found that five years have past."
"Leo said that there were five of you, I was expecting Piper and her girlfriend or something," Hazel laughed.
"Speaking of girlfriend," Leo said, "these two are dating." He then pointed at me and Damian.
"We are not dating!" We both yelled.
"Looks like you are to me," Leo laughed.
"Leo, will you chill," Calypso said as she punched him in the arm. He snorted at the word chill.
"Well if you go through the city you're sure to cause a crowd, so we might as well go the back way to Percy and Annabeth's house," Hazel said. She led us through a maze of back alleyways and tunnels. What is up with Camp Jupiter and tunnels? After a bunch of twists and turns, we arrived at a plain gray and blue house.
Hazel walked up to the back door and knocked.
Annabeth came to the door carrying a blond little boy. "Hazel how many times do I have to tell you, you don't have to kno-," she was cut short when she saw me.
She put the boy down. "Jason, go get your father," she told the boy. He ran out of the room and soon enough Perseus Jackson himself came walking through the door looking just as shocked as his wife.
