"There!" I yelled, "it's that house."
"Are you sure?" Damian said.
"Yes, because it was gray, the color of Annabeth's eyes."
We walked up to the house and inside the front door. Percy was sitting on the couch playing with Jason. "See I told you it was the right house," I told Damian.
Percy turned our way, "Hey your back."
"Yeah, we didn't know our way back," I said.
"Well how did it go?" He asked.
"Ugh, it was so… weird. Everyone was staring at me, cheering, for like an hour," I grumbled.
"Oh hey," Leo said as he walked into the room. He then sat down next to Percy, "so what's with the not wanting to be separated thing?"
"You try going through what we went through and see how you feel." I walked out of the living room and into the kitchen.
"Hey Trish," Calypso said as she cut some carrots.
"Hey. Is it dinner time already?" I asked.
"Yeah, you were gone for quite a while."
I sat at my usual stool and watched as Calypso and Annabeth prepared dinner. "So is there anything I can help with?" I asked.
"Not really, we're almost done," Annabeth answered.
"Well tomorrow, I'm making breakfast, it's the least I can do for you," I said.
"That would be great," Annabeth smiled.
During dinner, we sat around talking like usual, at one point Percy brought up my curse.
"So, I noticed that you haven't been losing control as much as you usually did," he said.
"Yeah, I noticed too," I said, "I'm not sure why but ever since I came out of the ice, it feels like I have a little more control over it. My dark side doesn't come out every single time I get mad anymore. I've only exploded, like once, since the ice."
"What happened to make you explode?" Leo asked.
"I found out Jamie died," I said.
"You nearly killed me when I told you," Damian laughed.
"So how've you been doing without Jamie?" Annabeth asked.
"Good, I miss him, but good. I actually went to see him, Hades let me. He… changed."
"When you disappeared," Percy said, "something snapped in him, he basically turned mad. He was no longer himself."
I felt someone tug on my cloak. I look down and see… well myself. She lifted her arms, wanting me to pick her up, I did.
"Jamie says he misses you," she whispered in my ear, "he says he's sorry." She backed up a bit and stared into my eyes.
"Thank you," I whispered back, a tear on the merge of falling.
"What did she say?" Damian whispered to me.
"She said t-that Jamie misses me and that he's sorry," I choked, Damian's eyes widened.
I turned back to mini-me. "Does Jamie talk to you?" I asked.
She nodded her head. "He's my friend, we went to school together."
"Trish," Percy said, I'm pretty sure he was talking to my mini-me, "your not in school yet."
"Not me, daddy, her," Trish then pointed to me. "She is me, I am her, but we are not one." She then got off my lap and back to her own seat.
We sat in silence for a while, until Annabeth slammed her fist on the table. "I've heard that before," she said frustrated. Then her face lit up like a hundred light bulbs. "The book!"
She got up and went to the secret apartment and grabbed the book. She came back and flipped to a certain page. "Είναι εγώ, είμαι αυτή, αλλά δεν είμαστε ένα. She is me, I am her, but we are not one. It's right here," Annabeth said.
"What is that?" Leo asked.
"Don't let anyone know about this book," I told Leo.
"I never thought I'd see that thing again," Calypso said.
"Why?" Leo asked, I wasn't sure who he was asking but I explained to him that this book is what my first quest was about and that we weren't supposed to have it.
"Ooohhh," Leo said, "cool."
I slapped my forehead. Boys.
Thanks for reading! We hope you enjoyed. Stay safe!
