I do not own the PJO characters. AN: sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I had a friend stay over at my house. Anyway I don't know if I'll be able to post tomorrow either because I'll be at my grandmothers. I hope you've had a good day tho!

Damian and I decided to go find Nico and Will and make sure everyone was okay. As we walked, people stared at me, but not how they usually do, but with smiles on their faces. You remember when I said that Melody would change how the camp saw me? Well this was it. One girl even came up to me and apologized.

At least most of the camp had changed their minds. A few still hated my guts, but I couldn't blame them, I was still a huge danger.

"Look," Damian said, "things might actually start going up for you."

"Not with this curse it won't. Another bad thing is right around the corner and I know it."

"Will you stop calling that amazing gift of yours a curse," someone said from behind us, "it's a blessing."

Damian looked behind us at who it was, I didn't even need to look. "Jamie," I said.

"What?"

"Stop following us," I growled.

"I'm not following you, I'm just going in the direction you're going," he responded slyly.

I spun around so fast that my hair whipped my face. I went to say something but stopped when I saw the smile on Jamie's face. Instead my words came out as a squeak. I turned right around just as fast and started walking towards the infirmary where we were pretty sure Will and Nico were.

I don't think I should have left the two boys back there because before I knew it, they were fighting and yelling at each other. I sighed as I lifted Damian up in the air and brought him to my side.

His cheeks were red and he already had a broken nose. "Seriously," I said as I stopped so I could heal him, "I left you alone with him for five seconds and you already managed to get hurt."

"If it makes you feel better- ow- he has one too."

I rolled my eyes and slowly walked toward Jamie who had blood running down his lip. I didn't say anything as I lightly touched his face. As I healed him, he smiled. "I knew you still cared about me," he exclaimed with a huge grin.

"Don't let it get to your head Jamie, I care for you like I care for my best friend, not my boyfriend."

"Oh come on Trish, you gotta still at least feel something?" He pleaded as he grabbed my hand and pressed it up against his chest.

I pulled it away. "I like you the way I liked you in middle school, my best friend."

"But what about us before you disappeared? Huh? You act like it never happened," I could hear the sadness in his voice and it made me choke up a bit, but I stood tall.

"What did you expect? For me to mourn over you until you came back to life?" I said a little louder. "I didn't think you would come back. News flash! Most people don't come back from the dead! I moved on like you should be doing now, you should be happy for me." I walked away and left behind a shocked Jamie standing like a fence post behind me. Damian said nothing as I walked up to him.

"Is he still watching?" I asked.

"No, he's headed back to the cabin, why?"

"So I can do this." I grabbed Damian's shirt and pulled him down. Suddenly I kissed him. He smelled like fire, but not in a bad way, like how a warm campfire smells.

"What was that for?" Damian asked with a small laugh as I pulled away.

"I was stressed," I said plainly as I continued walking towards the infirmary.

Once at the infirmary, we saw Will and Nico in the doorway and staring out at us. "Am I dreaming or was that Jamie standing out there," Will said, mouth still gaped open.

"I knew something seemed wrong," Nico exclaimed.

"Long story short, the same person who is trying to control my mind also decided to bring back my dead best friend so that he can haunt me even more," I said in a gleefully sarcastic way.

"Huh?" Will asked.

"Oh right, you weren't there." I explained what had happened with Tartarus at Camp Jupiter.

"He says we can trust him but we don't know," Damian finished for me.

"I wouldn't," Nico said.

Will nodded, "Yeah, I gotta agree with Nico. There's a reason he's here, Tartarus wouldn't just bring him back because he wanted to."

Damian and I looked at each other with unease.
