Chapter 03: A Joyous Reunion

Sasuke stood frozen solid in place for a couple of minutes unable to believe his eyes, that is until the attack shook him awake. He let out a small gasp as the wet stickiness penetrated his white undershirt and dyed it red. He lifted his face to glare at the blond man who had a mock contrite expression, the mischief apparent in those mesmerizing blue orbs that held him captive. Although thoroughly pissed off about what Naruto had just done, Sasuke couldn't help how fast his heart was beating at the sight of the blond man in front him. It was like the whole world had disappeared, leaving the two of them in a limbo of electric inducing heat that was alighting every nerve in his body, setting him ablaze. Sasuke wanted nothing more than to take the few steps between them to cross over to the man's side and envelope him in his arms. He wanted nothing more than to drown in those pheromones, like it were air and he couldn't breathe.

"Naruto," he desired to cry out, his throat dry and constricting with emotion.

He hadn't seen him in seven long years, and that time off did nothing to staunch the overflowing feelings he felt towards the man who surprisingly finally differentiated into an Alpha.

And as a true Omega, Sasuke's almost immediate response to the densely packed Alpha pheromones permeating the room, was wanting to accomplish nothing more than to rip off the pheromone concealing inhibitor stuck on his glands, demanding his omega pheromones to surround and entangle with Naruto's cooling pine mixed with refreshing citrus.

But he had to keep his composure. Nothing was more important than concealing this earth shattering secret that could potentially ruin all that he and his family had built over the few years since he graduated business school.

"Hey baby," Naruto purred seductively, strutting towards the frozen Sasuke who had yet to collect his bearings. Ignoring the shocked squawk coming from the seated Beta, Naruto wrapped his arms around the stunned man. "Let's go get you cleaned up. I can't stand the sight of that bitch staring at you like a piece of meat," the blond griped, his grip firm as he marched the silent man out the room.

Sakura couldn't believe what her eyes were showing her, and what her ears were taking in. It was impossible. There was no way in hell the Alpha she loved since her childhood and who had rejected her countless of times before, was currently dating the loser now turned Alpha. Her senses must be deceiving her. "What the fuck!" She raged, standing up to run after the two men. And right before she could get out of the room, she felt herself tripping over air, dropping unceremoniously onto the ground.

"Fucking impossible!" She shrieked in pain, watching the two men get further and further away from her. Her knees and palms were stinging with pain, but all she could find herself concentrating on were those two men. She had to confirm this with someone, but first had to find a way to get over this embarrassment of a date.

She begrudgingly decided to just sit down on the floor instead of getting back up, scooting her ass into the room and closing the door before quickly locating her phone. She immediately dialed her best friend and sat there waiting to divulge this not so juicy gossip that played itself in front of her.

Sasuke had no clue what was going on. He found that his legs were working just fine, but his brain was still a stuttering mess. He was befuddled by the blond man's actions, and equally immersed in the heavy scented pheromones filling his nostrils and therefore utterly overwhelmed. It was all too shocking for the man he had been yearning for to suddenly embrace him and refer to him with sappy pet names.

He had a hard time getting over it. Fucking impossible, he thought.

Naruto, who was leading the man to the restroom, was equally astounded at the slightly shorter man's nonverbal acquiescence. Had this been the Sasuke he remembered from childhood, he would have already been knocked out or at the very least scolded viciously for daring to put a hand on him. But he would take this any day over being constantly ignored.

'Maybe I could put some moves on him,' Naruto thought mischievously, thinking back to all the perverted fantasies that were stored in the back of his head that might finally be turning into reality if he played his cards right.

Secondary genders didn't matter to him if the heart wants what the heart wants.

"It's been a long time, baby. Too long for that matter," Naruto remarked while closing the bathroom door behind him, before pulling Sasuke into his embrace and stuffing his nose into Sasuke's neck. Sasuke gasped at the contact but did nothing to deter Naruto's actions.

He brushed his nose against the length of the raven's neck and inhaled Sasuke's fresh scent mixed with cologne and could feel himself getting hard. Sasuke felt himself melt against the man, and a slight slick sensation emerging from his nether regions. Naruto rubbed his hands against Sasuke's waist, and felt the man against him stiffen when a knock resounded on the door behind them. Naruto stopped himself from continuing, but did not remove himself from his position.

Hopefully by ignoring the person, they could take the hint that the entire bathroom filled with empty stalls were currently unavailabe.

Sasuke enjoyed the feel of Naruto against him, but his slow brain was finally able to come to terms with what was happening. He felt warmth suffusing his cheeks, making its way up his face to his ears, and then reluctantly moved from the blonds embrace.

How embarrassing to be caught up like this in his feelings Sasuke thought hotly, turning himself away from Naruto. He felt his heart drumming violently against his chest and his whole body was steeping with heat. How could he have let himself be swept up like this? He wasn't an "Omega" but an "Alpha" to everyone but his family, despite wanting to forget this detail, he had to live with this secret. He knew he couldn't pursue this, whatever this was, otherwise he'd be swimming in hot water. But the thought of Naruto being his was too thrilling to refuse.

Sasuke walked towards the sink to try to clean up the mess the blond made, purposely ignoring those heated eyes licking across his body as though undressing him. He felt as though he was naked, and despite wanting to submit to the man, Sasuke tightly held his composure with tethered hooks ready to become undone at the slightest provocation.

"It's been awhile, bastard. How've you been?" Naruto asked, removing himself from the restroom door and leaning against the wall opposite the sinks with his arms crossed against his chest. A smirk appeared on his lips as he stared at the man's pink ears peaking out of his uniquely coiffed hair.

They both ignored the person who walked into the bathroom.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted, swallowing saliva to try to get his throat to work. His nerves were eating at him irritatingly enough but he refused to let his dignity incessantly drop in the presence of this gorgeous man.

Naruto chuckled at Sasuke's response, "Still the ever user of one sound grunts, I see."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, not deigning to give the man a response and actively ignoring the glances sent to him through the mirror. With a sigh, he lifted the drenched shirt from against his torso, the color red swimming in his vision. He kept his shirt from his body and had no clue how he was supposed to get rid of these stains.

"Want some help?"

"And pray tell with what? Unless your carrying some chemicals used to get rid of stains, I'd prefer it if you kept your fucking mouth shut, moron," Sasuke quipped, showing Naruto an unimpressed look.

"Maybe if you removed the ice pole stuck far up your ass you'd know that I was offering to dry clean it for you."

"Maybe if you weren't such a clumsy idiot, we wouldn't be in this mess. Ever thought of that?"

Naruto couldn't help the elation that rushed through his body. He missed their banter so much, that he was willing to let Sasuke say as much scathing remarks as he wanted. "I wouldn't call it clumsy. I'd prefer to refer to it as strategic genius."

"What genius would come up with such a dumb plan?" Sasuke asked with intrigue, his response lacking in bite. He was rather interested in knowing the blonds reasoning. Why was Naruto here in the first place and what prompted this little reunion.

Sasuke drew up blanks for a few seconds before it dawned on him that Naruto was on a date with that annoying Beta that wouldn't stop pestering him all his life- Sasuke immediately felt a burst of sour taste in his mouth. What was his Alpha doing with other people? Sasuke felt himself jolt at the thought. He raised his head from his hands that were gripping tightly against his shirt and accidentally made eye contact with Naruto through the mirror, and that sour taste travelled to his nose. What the hell was he thinking?

Naruto could sense the shift in atmosphere. Sasuke's eyes held a mixture of emotions, a never before seen flash of pain in those ice cold orbs that stabbed at Naruto's heart. "Just using you as an excuse to skip out on a blind date arranged by my dad. Trust me, it was against my will."

"Did I ask?" Sasuke bit out, cursing at the relief flowing through his body.

"Besides, if I were to go out on a date with anyone. I'd prefer it to be with an Alpha rather than an Omega or Beta. Go guess who made the cut," Naruto declared with a big grin, pushing himself off the way and stalking towards Sasuke.

Sasuke stood frozen in place, watching the man prowl towards him like a predator encircling it's prey. He reluctantly rather enjoyed feeling like a piece of meat in this man's eyes.

"I don't think it's quite appropriate to flirt in a public restroom. Maybe get into a stall or preferably get a room," a drawling voice spoke from the side. Naruto nearly jumped from his skin in fright as he swiped his head to look to towards the stalls.

A man was standing there by an open stall, looking unimpressed at the two of them, his hands drooping in front of him.

Naruto let out a sheepish chuckle, his heart still racing in fright. "My bad man. Will definitely take you up on your advice." Naruto grabbed the silent Sasuke, and dragged him out of the bathroom in a hurry.

"What a creep? Who stands there and stares at people flirting," Naruto complained, walking besides Sasuke over to his waiter who was standing by the room door, aghast.

"It technically was your fault, idiot. Maybe he wouldn't have assumed that if you had just went back to your date instead of bothering me," Sasuke furiously whispered, trying to tug his hand out of the Alpha's grasp.

Naruto shot him a teasing smile all the while tightening his grip, "Nah, I still think he was just jealous that I could bag such a handsome Alpha like you. Don't worry, he's got nothing on you."

"Let go of me," Sasuke whispered, coming to a stand still in front of the waiter who looked like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

"I thought you'd left before your date, sir. She was refusing to pay and insisted that the reservation was yours and therefore everything was on you."

Naruto rolled his eyes at his dates behavior. "Sorry, man. I was preoccupied in the restroom with a certain someone."

Sasuke felt his face flush at the surprised stare the waiter shot at him. He pinched Naruto's waist at this comment with an underlying innuendo. 'This bastard,' he thought with gnashing teeth.

"Don't try to run away when I let go of you. I promise to behave and will compensate you for your clothing. We can catch up on what we missed all these years too. Just come with me real quick back to my house to grab a few things and I swear I'll drop you off with no problems." Naruto promised, only releasing Sasuke's hand when the raven reluctantly nodded his head. He brought out his wallet from his pocket, and handed the waiter his card.

"What makes you think I can just up and leave the restaurant like I wasn't having dinner with anyone?" Sasuke questioned with a glare, taking a few steps away from Naruto to gain full self-control and relax his jostling nerves that awakened in this man's presence.

Naruto froze in place, staring dumbly at Sasuke. The thought never occurred to him in the first place that the raven was here having dinner with someone.

The blond nervously glanced at the raven standing in front of him, and began to sheepishly rub the back of his neck. "I was kind of hoping you were here alone," Naruto responded while clearing his throat. The thought of this night ending so abruptly kept Naruto in a chokehold.

Sasuke stared at Naruto, not willing to respond so the idiot could drown in anxiety about the uncertainty of what could happen during the remainder of the night. Clearly he was opposed to ending it too soon, but the thought of his secret unraveling was too much to handle. He was confident in the pheromone concealing inhibitor, but he wasn't so sure about himself when emotions were clear to take over his senses when it came to Naruto.

"Uchiha-san!" Came a shout from behind the two men, leading to a room close to Naruto's. The two men simultaneously looked back at the pale skinned man with sharp teeth and gray hair who was waving over to Sasuke. Sasuke's eyes narrowed in annoyance now that his making Naruto sweat was about to come to a end. "Where have you been? Everyone left cause you didn't seem to be coming back and you weren't answering your phone, so I was forced to stay just in case," the man whined.

"Hn," Sasuke deadpanned, shifting his glare from his employee who proved him right to the now gloating blond beside him. Well now his cover was blown.

Naruto was beside himself with joy. Who would've thought that they answer to his looming questions would be answered not even a minute later, no thanks to Sasuke. "It's settled then. You're coming home with me to change, then we're going to go hit a bar, and who knows where the night might take us after that," Naruto laughed, thanking the waiter for his card.

Before Sasuke could even respond to Suigetsu, he was pulled away once again against his will. A huge part of him was elated to spend more time with Naruto and let the night take them where it willed.

But maybe he spoke too soon?
