Note: I do not own any of these characters. They belong to Luigi's Mansion 1, 2, and 3. Just imagine this as the Cuphead Show, but for Luigi's Mansion, which is incredibly cartoony. Have fun.

Luigi was behind Mario while battling Bowser during an adventure. Mario was able to defeat him, save the princess, and get a kiss or cake, then the cycle repeats in the second playthrough. That is basically life for Luigi.

Luigi just can't escape his brother's shadow, and how could he. He was too cowardly. Mentioning the word ghost, and he would run away in fear. He was just too scared.

Until that one fateful day.

(Play Mario's theme)

Luigi and Mario were asleep, and it was slowly becoming sunrise, when their mailman, ParryKarry, knocked.

ParryKarry: MAILTIME!

Luigi slowly got up, walked to the door, and grabbed the letter.

Luigi: Who would be giving us mail at this time?

He opened the letter and read it out loud.

Letter: Dear Mario and…Green Mario, you two just won a free vacation to the very dreamy Evershade Valley. Join our countless mansions and have fun on the many fun attractions. We hope you accept this as soon as you can.

Signed,

Hellen Gravely

Mario looked at Luigi. Luig looked back. Both were excited. Finally, the bros. can take a break from saving the kingdom of Bowser. But Luigi swears that there is something wrong here.

Luigi: I don't know bro, there is something strange about this.

Mario: Come on bro. Not everything is a trap. You gotta loosen up at times, take risks. You can't always play the safe card. Why do you think I defeated Bowser?

Luigi: Cause you are older, and stronger.

Mario slaps Luigi's head around, causing it to spin.

Mario: WHAT?! NO! It is because I took a risk to do the right thing. Come on, just for a few days.

Luigi thinks about it. Mario makes a terrible attempt at a sad puppy dog face.

Mario: Please come with me to this place, uwu.

Luigi: Fine. I'll come. But only if you stop that face and never do it again.

They wrote back to the person and said they will join tomorrow. Hellen Gravely said that that was good enough, and they will enjoy their stay, that they wouldn't want to leave. This was to die from.

(End music)

Tomorrow, Luigi had slept in, but Mario woke up just in time to head to the taxi to Evershade Valley. Luigi then wakes up, and looks at the time.

His eyes dropped out his eye sockets. It was 3:00 pm.

Luigi: Oh no! I'm late!

Luigi ran out of the house, then headed back to grab his backpack, which had multiple items. He ran around Toad Town.

Luigi: How can I get there?!

Luigi then sees a train going towards Evershade Valley, and rushes to it.

The ticket toad: Hey!

Luigi stops.

Ticket toad: Ticket, please.

Luigi looked in his pockets, but didn't have enough money for a ticket.

Luigi: Look man, I missed my ride to Evershade Valley, and you have a train heading there, so can you make an exception.

Ticket toad: Depends, why do you need to go to Evershade Valley?

Luigi: I have been invited there for vacation.

The ticket toad laughs. Laughs really hard. He then looks at Luigi.

Ticket toad: Yeh serious?

Luigi: Yes I'm serious, why?

Ticket toad: You wouldn't want to know.

The train then whistled. It was about to leave.

Luigi: Look, can you just move?

Ticket toad: No, no, who even are you?

Luigi: Luigi.

Ticket toad: Who?

Luigi: Um, Luigi. Mario's brother.

Ticket toad: Oh, you mean green Mario.

Luigi then saw the train leave. He then thought about running.

(Play the fuzzy chase music from Paper Mario).

Luigi: Sorry Mr. Ticket toad.

Luigi punches the toad and runs to the train. The train was leaving, so Luigi dived and then grabbed the train.

Ticket toad: There he is, that green guy.

Luigi looked behind him, and saw the ticket toad, and the police behind him. The police chased after him.

The police: Stop breaking the law!

Luigi then saw them try to tackle him, only to knock them off. He then jumped onto the train itself. The toads (being the bad drivers they are), fall off and crash.

(End music)

Luigi, believing he was in the clear, falls asleep.

(6 hours later)

Luigi wakes up. But he finds that he is in the middle of the woods. In the night.

Luigi: Crap, Mario will be wondering where I've been.

Luigi then had to find a way to get out. He grabbed a flashlight from his backpack, and travelled through the forest.

The forest looked creepy. The trees looked like they could grab Luigi at any second. Luigi shivered.

Luigi: Nothing bad is going to happen, nothing bad is going to…

He then felt a tug on his backpack. The tree had grabbed it. It started to move forward. Luigi screamed.

Luigi: MAMA!

Luigi ran through the forest, as the trees looked at him. He didn't even care if he didn't have his bag, with all the stuff that he packed in it.

He ran through the forest, running through the multiple trees. They tried to grab him, but Luigi was always able to slip past him. He was scared. All the trees looked down at him. He didn't look back. Then, he saw a clearing. He ran towards it and looked.

(Cue the piano music from Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon).

He saw a giant mansion. This mansion had three floors at the most, at least, that is what it looked from the outside. It had dark green bricks, and giant wooden structures. Lightning struck the building, and he gulped.

(End music)

Luigi carefully opened the door. A creak pulled through the door. Luigi saw absolutely nothing. He turned on his flashlight, which was low on battery, and walked around the foyer of the mansion.

Luigi: MARIO!

Luigi wanted Mario, but knew he was in Evershade Valley. Luigi decided to stay in the mansion for the night, and then find a way to Evershade Valley.

Luigi searched for a bedroom, and saw it had a nightlight, a bunk bed, a cradle, and even a computer. What was more confusing was that there was wi-fi in the mansion, so he typed an email to Mario.

" Mario,

This is your bro, Luigi. I'm sorry I am coming late, I missed the taxi, and the train abandoned me in the middle of nowhere. That ticket toad is incredibly terrible. I will come to your place soon, just give me the address of where we are staying.

Yours truly,

Luigi."

Luigi then was about to send it, but then it said "You are sending this message to yourself. Proceed anyway?"

Luigi then looked on the back of the computer, and saw Mario's emblem. What is going on? Why is Mario's laptop here in this mansion? He thought Mario was in Evershade Valley.

Then, he felt a chill behind him. He didn't want to look back, but he needed to know what was behind him.

He looked, and screamed at it. An orange ghost that had yellow eyes appeared.

Luigi: OHHHH NOOO!

Luigi ran out of the room, only to be introduced to a green ghost that looked similar to the orange ghost. Luigi now screamed as he ran right through the ghost, feeling like he just ran through a cold, almost frozen waterfall.

Luigi then ran to the door, only to get caught by a blue ghost, who tried to grab him, only for Luigi to run.

Luigi then ran into a block, as he was surrounded by three ghosts. The ghosts were about to take him, but then the orange ghost was getting sucked, his body seemingly getting sucked by a weird tornado.

Luigi looked, and saw an old guy in a white lab coat with one long, upwards, strand of hair. He looked horrible, like he was at work for years.

Old guy: Yeah, take this. Nobody is taking anyone else's soul today.

The guy was trying to suck the ghost up in a red vacuum that looked like a backpack. He tries to suck in, but then gets knocked out by the blue ghost. The green one then takes the vacuum and threw it to Luigi, who was on the floor.

Old guy: You'll never take me to your master alive. OOH, my back.

The old guy snaps his back, and then falls and faints. The ghost seemed to mess with him by flying around and spooking him. Luigi then sees the vacuum. He thinks that if that old man can suck up ghosts, then it could help him. But he is scared. He never thought he would see ghosts, and is scared. Then he remembers the words his brother said.

Mario: Why do you think I defeated Bowser? It is because I took a risk to do the right thing.

Luigi knew that if there was a moment to conquer his fear, it was now. He then grabbed the backpack/vacuum.

(Cue epic music that you can think of, cause I've got nothing).

He points it at the orange ghost.

Luigi: It's time for you to die!

(End music)

He then pressed a button and flashed a light that stunned the ghosts, but also shocked Luigi.

He then tried to suck, but it ended up sucking up more than he wanted, taking some money.

He then sucked up the orange ghost but it kept tugging him. He was dragged around by the orange ghost, and then the green ghost and blue joined in the vacuum. He then pressed another and sucked them into the vacuum.

Luigi then approached the old man.

The old man: Oh, I'm starting to get too old for this ghost hunting tomfoolery.

Then, he notices Luigi.

The old man: Oh, hello. Who are you?

Before Luigi can say anything.

The old man: Oh, never mind, it is too dangerous to talk here. I'm going to send us through my new Pixelator. Don't worry, it's tested, sorta.

He then pulled out a small TV, which then enlarged. It then glowed green and the old guy started to become pixels.

The old guy: Your tuuuuuurrrrnnnnn!

Luigi tried to run, but then got turned into pixels. It felt like he was everywhere, and being sent to another line from one place to another.

He then appears in a green lab. A bunch of computer screens appear all around the place, and sees a chair, where the old man was sitting.

The old guy: Hey there young fella. I'm sorry about the rush, but I have been trying to corral these ghosts, and they would've come back if I didn't teleport us to this bunker. Anyway, my name is Professor E. Gadd. I'm a ghost scientist that lives here in this bunker. And you are?

Luigi: Luigi, sir.

Prof. E. Gadd: Luigi, huh. Well, that will be easy to remember.

Prof. E. Gadd: So what are you doing here, sonny?

Luigi: Me and my brother were going to Evershade Valley for vacation, but I ended up here.

Prof. E. Gadd: Um, Luigi, this is Evershade Valley.

Luigi: WHAT!

Prof. E. Gadd: Yeah, let me tell you a story. I was a young, enthusiastic, scientist, ready to go out into the unknown. I had to leave behind my family, but the future was looking bright. But then, I was caught by a group of ghosts. I was able to escape, but I knew I had to defend myself. So, I setted up this bunker, and built my invention to capture and sustain these ghosts. So I made the Poltergust 1000. I eventually made five other versions to improve the last, and now I'm working on a sixth model…

Luigi wasn't paying attention however. Luigi was shocked. The place that he and his brother were convinced to go to, that Mario convinced him, was the place he had been attacked by ghosts.

Luigi: Did anyone else come here before me?

E. Gadd: Yeah. Someone came here a few hours ago.

Luigi's heart started pumping.

Luigi: What did he look like?

E. Gadd: A chubby fellow with a red cap also came. I actually went to follow him, wondering what he was doing here, but I couldn't find him. Why?

Luigi then cried. His brother, not knowing what will happen, is taken by ghosts. Why didn't he go with him? Why did he sleep in? Why didn't he try to convince Mario not to go? He could've done anything, but didn't.

E. Gadd: I'm sorry, was that fellow important to you?

Luigi hesitated but then blurted out.

Luigi: He was my bro!

E. Gadd thought about it, and then lowered his chair. He went to confort Luigi.

E. Gadd: I'm sorry. Tell you what, you are a real ghost hunter.

Luigi wiped his tears

Luigi: Really?

E. Gadd: Yeah, I never saw a better ghost capturer like you. You could probably even surpass me.

E. Gadd: Tell you what, we should work together.

Luigi was hesitant.

E. Gadd: Look kid, I don't know much about families, but I do know that you should always try to help them. I will try and help your brother, and you can help me with my research. See, while I am battling these ghosts, I was able to research them in a confined space.

Luigi looks at him.

E. Gadd: I promise, we will find your brother.

Luigi then smiles, weakly.

Luigi: Okay.

E. Gadd: Great. Hey Luigi, what's your day-job?

Luigi: When me and my bro aren't busy saving the Mushroom Kingdom, we work as plumbers.

E. Gadd: Okay, I am finishing up my 6th model of the Poltergust. Wanna help?

Luigi: Ok!

(Cue montage, along with any good montage music)

For several hours, Luigi and E. Gadd works on his invention, creating gadgets that will help him. At the same time, Luigi was practising with the previously used Poltergeists. He learned how to suck and vacuum, blow and repel, and how to catch ghosts more easily. They worked for hours, until eventually, they made it.

Luigi puts it on his back, and raises the flashlight. He then aims at the screen.

Luigi: Ima Luigi, Number One!

(End Montage)

Random ghost: Sir, we have a problem.

The boss: What…Problem?

Random ghost: E. Gadd has a new partner. And he's Mario's brother.

The boss: Hmm.

He then turns around and reveals King Boo.

King Boo: Have the rest ready. And tell them to be on their A-game.

Random ghost: Yes sir!

The ghost then flies off, leaving King Boo alone.

King Boo: You hear that? Your brother has come to play.

Reveals Mario, frozen, trapped in a painting.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
