Summary: Alisa gets another opportunity to babysit her siblings and the Rugrats while Randy and Lucy go to a Dummi Bears summer rock concert. Meanwhile, Buster and his friend Sticky have some trickery up their sleeve's to exact revenge on Alisa for spoiling their fun last time.

Note: This story takes place during the events of ''The New Normal''.

It was a splendid sunny day in Yucaipa, California as Lucy and Randy Carmichael were getting ready to go to a Dummi Bears summer rock concert.

''You are looking good today Lucy'' said Randy.

''Thank you Randy'' replied Lucy.

At that moment, the doorbell rang as Randy answered it and saw Stu and Didi with the Rugrats waiting there.

''Hello everyone, glad you can come'' said Randy.

''Thanks'' replied Stu and Didi in unison.

Randy led them inside and the Rugrats joined Susie in the living room.

''Hi Susie'' said Tommy, Dil, Savannah and Jesse in unison.

''Hey guys'' replied Susie.

''What'cha up to Susie'' asked Savannah.

''Oh, I had finished watching Cynthia P.I on TV before you guys arrived'' replied Susie.

While Susie explained what it was about since Dil was only a baby-baby to have any recollection and that Jesse and Savannah weren't there yet, and that Tommy already knew the aforementioned subject (During the events of '' Early Retirement'' in particular), Alisa came into the living room as the parents were getting ready to leave for the concert.

''We are leaving for the concert now Alisa'' said Randy.

''Okay Dad, You and Mom have a good time. And everything is going to be okay, I won't let you down'' replied Alisa.

''We know you'll do a good job again'' replied Randy.

Alisa nodded in agreement as the parents got in their cars and drove away. After they left, Alisa set some ground rules for her siblings and the Rugrats.

''Not to worry Alisa, we will be as good as gold, right guys'' asked Susie as she turned to the Rugrats.

The Rugrats nodded in agreement.

''No worries Alisa, I'll be too engrossed with my books to even start un-necessary mayhem'' said Edwin.

''Sure Alisa, nothing could possibly go wrong'' said Buster in a slightly provoking tone of voice.

Alisa was stern, but felt sure she got the message through to the kids, especially Buster.

''Very well then, you kids have fun while I get lunch ready'' said Alisa.

And Susie and the Rugrats did random things in the living room, while Edwin headed to his room to dive into his fascination of his books. Meanwhile, Buster headed upstairs to his room with a smirky grin on his face as he closed the door and pulled out his walkie talkie.

''Come in Sticky, do you read me'' asked Buster.

''I read you loud and clear Buster'' replied Sticky.

''You ready for Operation: Revenge on Alisa'' asked Buster.

''You bet'' replied Sticky.

''Roger that, Operation: Revenge on Alisa begins now'' said Buster.

While Alisa was aware that Buster's friend Sticky wasn't present at their place to be looked after like the rest of the kids and complicate her baby sitting duty, she didn't know that Buster secretly made contact with Sticky earlier in the day and they had planned to get back at Alisa for getting them reprimanded last time. Meanwhile, in the living room, Susie and the Rugrats were having fun doing random things.

''Ha-ha-ha-ha, I loves playing with my favoritest Goober doll and going on adventures with him'' said Dil as he played.

''That's pretty cool Dil'' replied Savannah. ''And I loves playing with my Dora the Explorer adventure kit. I'd make a pretty good defective (detective) with the things that comes with it'' she said as she played.

"I'm doing a drawing of Reptar beating Dactar" said Tommy.

"Pretty cool Tommy" replied Jesse. "And I'm making a drawing of Me and Lil riding bikes together alongside" replied Jesse dreamily.

"And I'm coloring these Dummi bears in different colors, just like on the show" replied Susie.

"Neat" replied Tommy and Jesse in unison.

Knowing it would be lunch time soon, Buster and Edwin came downstairs to the living room where Susie and the Rugrats were and chilled out for a bit. Soon enough, Alisa came into the living room.

"Lunch is ready everyone" announced Alisa.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and headed to the dining room to have lunch. Alisa took the chance to catch her breath as she went to the living room and sat on the couch.

"Few, the job of babysitting is hard work when you have a few mouths to feed, but so far this is going smoothly" said Alisa.

In practically no time at all, the kids finished their lunch and resumed their activities. Edwin headed back to his room, Susie and the Rugrats headed back to the living room to play. And Buster seized his chance as he snuck out to the backyard to open the gate for his friend Sticky.

"Glad you can make it Sticky" said Buster.

"No problem" replied Sticky.

Buster then ran towards the front of the house and rang the doorbell.

"I wonder who that could be" said Alisa.

Alisa headed to the front door and answered it, only to see that no one was there.

"Hmmm, a Ding dong ditch eh, I'll be on to whoever did that if he or she does that again" said Alisa as she closed the door.

While Alisa was distracted, Buster managed to sneak Sticky into the house unnoticed via the patio door as they quietly made it upstairs to Buster's bedroom. However, Buster darted so quickly to sneak Sticky in the house he forgot to close and lock the gate in the backyard and didn't notice that he dropped a piece of paper that contained detailed plans of the pranks He and Sticky planned to pull to get back at Alisa.

"He-he-he-he" laughed Buster and Sticky.

"Alisa only had a preview of what is yet to come" said Buster.

Sticky nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, back to where Alisa, Susie and the Rugrats were.

"Hey Alisa, who was that at the door" asked Susie.

"No one but a Ding dong ditch" replied Alisa.

"Oh, that's not cool" replied Susie.

Alisa nodded in agreement as she headed to the dining room to clean up the table.

"Hey Susie, what's a Ding dong ditch" asked Tommy.

"It's when someone rings a doorbell and runs off before anyone can answer" replied Susie.

"Kinda likes a silly prank huh?" asked Jesse.

"Yep" replied Susie.

"Ahhhh" went the Rugrats in unison.

Meanwhile, upstairs in Buster's bedroom.

"Ready for the next phase Sticky" asked Buster.

"You bet" replied Sticky as Buster pulled out his cell phone.

Meanwhile, Alisa had finished cleaning the dining room table from the kids lunch time, when suddenly the telephone started ringing.

"Alright, alright I'm coming" said Alisa as she hurried to get the phone.

Meanwhile, upstairs in Buster's bedroom.

"Quick, while Alisa is distracted, take this ball of yarn and give it to Chowder" said Buster.

Sticky nodded and did just that with swiftness. Meanwhile, back downstairs.

"Hello" responded Alisa as she answered the telephone.

But there was no answer.

"Oh I am so onto you Mr. or Mrs. practical joker" said Alisa as she hung up the phone.

"Who was that Alisa" asked Susie.

Alisa sighed.

"Some practical joker again" replied Alisa.

"I think this is starting to get serious Alisa" replied Susie.

"I'll say it is. And it sure is making my job of babysitting you kids harder" said Alisa.

"Just try to hang in there Alisa, things could be much worse" said Susie.

And by a mere coincidence, a crashing sound was heard.

"Oh that can't be a good sound" said a worried Alisa.

Alisa went to see what the crashing sound was and Susie and the Rugrats were curious and followed Alisa.

"Oh-no!" shrieked Alisa.

"What's wrong Alisa" asked Susie as she and the Rugrats caught up with her.

"Chowder is running loose around the house with a ball of yarn and is breaking stuff in the process" said Alisa. "And I don't know where that cat got the ball of yarn from" she added.

Alisa looked like she was about to cry as Susie went to comfort her.

"It's gonna be okay Alisa, because I think there is a clever mastermind behind all this and we should find out who this mysterious prankster is" said Susie with a determined look.

"That would help make my job of babysitting you kids a whole lot easier" said Alisa.

"Me and my friends will search the house from top to bottom for clues" said Susie.

"Okay Susie, but you and your friends stay safe and be careful while I get the mess Chowder made cleaned up" said Alisa.

Susie and the Rugrats nodded in agreement as they headed to the living room to devise a plan.

"Guys, I got a feeling that we are dealing with a clever practical joker that's behind everything that has happened so far that is making Alisa's job of babysitting us extra hard" said Susie.

"I bet it's obvious that aliums from outside space are doing these pranks on your sister Susie" said Dil.

"But what makes you think it's aliums from outside space Dil" asked a bewildered Savannah.

"Easy, you know how aliums likes to keeps peoples from being discovered? Well, imagine doing things your whole life without letting peoples know you exist" said Dil.

"Dil, if aliums from outside space did exist, wouldn't we all have been vaporized a whole bunch of yesterdays" asked Jesse.

"Maybe, maybe not Jesse. But all this reminds me of the time that Alisa babysat Me, my siblings and Tommy" said Susie.

"Really" asked Dil, Savannah and Jesse in unison.

"Uh-huh, Me and Susie thought monsters was running loose around the house when strange stuff happened that night" said Tommy.

"Monsters" went Dil, Savannah and Jesse in unison.

Tommy and Susie explained how it all went down the last time Alisa babysat them and how they unknowingly exposed Buster and Sticky's prank for making Sticky go home.

"Wow, and I thought Angelica was the sneaky one when she was still means" said Savannah.

"At least there were no monsters in the end" added Jesse.

"Would this end the same way if we exposed the practical joker like Tommy and Susie did afore" asked Dil.

"There is only one way to find out" said Susie.

"Yeah, we could be defectives and gets to the bottom of this" replied Tommy.

"Yeah" replied the others in unison.

Susie, Tommy and Jesse were team # 1 and Dil and Savannah were team #2.

"And we will all meet back here in the living room and put our clues together to uncover the truth" said Susie.

"Right" replied the Rugrats in unison.

And the two groups split off to begin their investigation.

"C'mon Dil, we will use my Dora the Explorer Adventure kit to solve this caper" said Savannah.

"Sure thing Savannah" replied Dil.

Meanwhile, Susie, Tommy and Jesse were searching around indoors for any clues that would lead them to their culprit.

"Hmmm, let's check upstairs for clues you guys" said Susie.

"Okay" replied Tommy and Jesse in unison.

Meanwhile, Buster had to go to the bathroom and he checked to see if the coast was empty.

"Okay, the coast is empty" said Buster.

"I have to go to the bathroom as well Buster" replied Sticky.

"Hmmm, I guess it's okay since Alisa is busy cleaning up after Chowder and that Susie and her friends are busy with their own things" agreed Buster.

No sooner than both of the boys were out of sight, Susie, Tommy and Jesse were approaching Buster's room as the door was wide open.

"Hmmm, let's check out Buster's room, there might be a clue" suggested Susie.

"Okay Susie" replied Jesse.

"Great ideas, after all that is where we finded the biggest clue to ends all clues the lastest time" agreed Tommy.

And the trio entered Buster's room and looked around.

"Hey looks what I finded" said Tommy.

"Oooooh, those look like walkie talkies" replied Jesse.

"You guys are right, this is a real clue" agreed Susie.

"Yeah, but I thinks we better leave before Buster finds us in here" suggested Jesse.

Susie and Tommy nodded in agreement as they took the walkie talkies with them and quickly left his bedroom and headed downstairs. Meanwhile, Dil and Savannah were out in the backyard scouting around for clues.

"Hey Dil, look what I finded" exclaimed Savannah.

"What did you find" asked Dil.

"I finded this sheet of paper, it looks likes it has drawings and some writing on it" replied Savannah.

"Hmmm, looks likes alium writings to Me. Anyway, lets keep it, it might be a clue" said Dil.

Savannah nodded in agreement as she folded and put the sheet of paper in her diaper for safe keeping.

"Hey look" exclaimed Dil.

"What is it Dil" asked Savannah.

"The gate to the backyard is wide open" said Dil.

"We better close it so no one else can gets in" replied Savannah.

Dil nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Buster and Sticky had finished using the bathroom and returned to Buster's bedroom.

"Uh-oh" exclaimed Buster and Sticky in unison.

"Our walkie talkies are missing" said Sticky.

"Now lets not overreact about this just stay calm" replied Buster.

Sticky nodded. Meanwhile, Dil and Savannah had just gotten the backyard gate closed and locked and were ready to go back inside and tell the others what they found when the diaper duo looked up and spotted two figures up in Buster's bedroom.

"Hey look" exclaimed Dil. "I bet its aliums from outside space" he said.

"Relax Dil, lets you and Me gets a closer look at em with these" said Savannah as she pulled out her Dora the Explorer binoculars and saw Buster and Sticky.

"Its Buster and Sticky that Susie and Tommy were telling us afore" said Savannah.

"Let Me sees" said Dil as Savannah handed him the binoculars and was finally convinced that it was indeed Buster and Sticky. "You are right, they are nots aliums likes I thought" he said.

"We gots to tell the others about this rights away" said Savannah.

Dil nodded in agreement. Soon, they met up with Susie, Tommy and Jesse as they put their clues together and deduced that it was indeed Buster and Sticky that were responsible for the mysterious happenings at the house.

"Just wait until we tell Alisa about this" said Susie.

"Tell Alisa what" said a voice from behind.

Susie and the Rugrats turned to see Alisa had just entered the living room. Meanwhile, up in Buster's bedroom, Buster noticed that the sheet of paper containing the detailed plans of pranks wasn't in his pocket, even though he remembered by heart what the plans were without em.

"Man, we are in hot water now, that sheet of paper that had the plans isn't in my pocket anymore" said Buster.

"Relax Man, I'm sure if we find them without getting caught, we'd be in the clear" replied Sticky.

Buster nodded, though he wasn't too sure. As the boys quietly made their way to the staircase, they stopped in their tracks as they heard Alisa talking to Susie as she explained what the mysterious happenings were and the Rugrats showed Alisa the clues that clearly pointed to Buster and Sticky.

"So, we have an unexpected practical joker wreaking havoc in our household again, even if it is somebody that You and I already know" said Alisa.

"Pretty much" replied Susie.

"Well, those practical jokes have another thing coming to them. C'mon everyone, follow Me" said Alisa.

Susie and the Rugrats obeyed as they all made their way to the staircase.

"Uh-oh" whispered Buster and Sticky in unison.

"We gotta hide" whispered Buster.

Buster and Sticky quietly snuck into Susie's room and peered from out the door quietly as Alisa, Susie and the Rugrats made their way upstairs and decided to check in Buster's bedroom.

"Alright Buster, I know you snuck your friend Sticky in this house and we will find you" said Alisa.

As Alisa, Susie and the Rugrats searched Buster's bedroom, Buster and Sticky quietly snuck out of Susie's room and into Lucy and Randy's bedroom and peered from out the door quietly.

"Let's check my bedroom, even though it's a girls bedroom, I'm almost sure that would be the last place naughty practical jokers would hide" suggested Susie.

Alisa and the Rugrats nodded. As they searched Susie's room, Buster and Sticky quietly snuck out of Lucy and Randy's bedroom and quietly made a beeline for the basement and hid quietly.

"There are a couple more likely places that they might be hiding and that would be Mom and Dad's bedroom and the basement" said Susie.

"That is a possibility Susie, since we are still upstairs" agreed Alisa.

Everyone searched in Lucy and Randy's bedroom for the practical jokers, but no luck.

"Alright everyone, the final place to find the practical jokers is the basement" said Alisa. "Everyone stay close to me and be careful" she added.

Susie and the Rugrats nodded. Meanwhile, down in the basement, Buster and Sticky were trying their hardest to avoid getting caught.

"I hate to say it Buster, but we are so busted. Hook, Line and Sinker" said Sticky.

"Shhhh, quiet Sticky" whispered Buster.

At that moment, the boys heard the basement door open and the lights flipped on as they hid under a big pile of blankets.

"Lets all look around carefully for the practical jokers" said Alisa.

Susie and the Rugrats nodded as they looked around the basement.

"Hmmm, they aren't behind these boxes" said Tommy.

"And they aren't in this pile of old clothes either" replied Jesse.

Dil and Savannah were looking around a pile of blankets when they heard a sneezing sound coming from under the blankets.

"I thinks I heared the blankies sneezing" said Dil.

"That could be Buster and Sticky" replied Savannah.

"I'll go get the others and You and Me can pull back the blankies" said Dil.

Savannah nodded as Dil quickly got Tommy, Jesse, Susie and Alisa to follow him to where Savannah was. And Dil and Savannah pulled back the blankets and revealed that Buster and Sticky were hiding under them.

"Looks like we caught the practical jokers red handed" said Alisa.

"Ooooooh, busted" added Susie.

Buster and Sticky had glum looks on their faces as they knew they were in trouble for their actions. Soon, Alisa drug them out of the basement as Susie and the Rugrats followed them back to the living room.

"Sticky and Buster" Alisa began. "What you did today was very wrong and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves" she said.

Sticky and Buster sincerely nodded their heads in agreement.

"Sticky, I'm calling your parents to let them know you are coming home and where you have been " said Alisa.

Sticky complied and left the house with head hanging down in shame.

"And as for you Buster, you will stay in your room until Mom and Dad return" said Alisa sternly.

"Can't anyone take a little joke" asked Buster.

Alisa, Susie and the Rugrats made it clear to Buster with stern looks on their faces that they were not amused as he took the hint and headed upstairs to his bedroom.

"Kids, thank you very much for your help, you really saved the day" said Alisa.

Susie and the Rugrats ran up and hugged Alisa.

"Well, the grown ups won't be back for a couple of hours yet, so why don't you all go out to the backyard and play, I'll keep watch from the patio" said Alisa.

Susie and the Rugrats nodded in agreement. Soon, the kids were playing and having a chat.

"Well guys, we did it" said Susie.

"Yeah" replied the Rugrats in unison.

"We caught the pranksters and everything is back to norman (normal)" said Tommy.

"It was quite a plot we uncovered" agreed Jesse.

"There may not have been any aliums, but a baby can dream can't he" asked Dil.

"Sure, I thinks that's why we gots imaginations for" replied Savannah.

"And while I am certain that monsters, aliens and other things exist in books and movies, it's just plain regular real life here" said Susie.

The others nodded in agreement as the rest of the day was uneventful as the children played until the grown ups returned from the Dummi Bears summer rock concert and took them home and called it a day. And Lucy and Randy congratulated Alisa for another job well done of babysitting.

The end
