Leaving behind Naruto who busied himself with talking with Hinata, Boruto walked along with the rest of his class as their teacher gathered them in the auditorium.

It had been an hour since lunch time and there was only one hour left. The academy started from 7 am to 3 P.m. for the compulsory education.

Of course there was also the choice to take the evening session instead of the morning session but Boruto wasn't interested.

After the graduation from the compulsory education, up on entering the higher education for experts there was more freedom.

That education was taken by active ninja, meaning you could take classes at different times and other such things.

That was a system to help students improve their skills to the maximum as Jounin team leaders would not train people anymore. They would give advice but they were not obligated to use up time for such a task unless commanded.

The past had proved that such a system was extremely flawed and it was a fact that teaching was a skill, not everyone could teach and Naruto could attest to Kakashi's terrible teaching skills.

Teaching was a sacred duty and Naruto had built institution for those interested in this art. He had brought the best of teachers to disperse their knowledge to the new learners and produced efficient teachers that understood the students and could guide them with extreme effectiveness.

From the time that the system had been implemented, the results had been improving at a steady rate. Naruto never stopped at just covering a single side and covered everything that could help the situation.

Teaching was one of Naruto's main skills that he had mastered over the course of five years with the Konohamaru squad and Hanabi as his students.

His wives and his family as a whole were also his students in a way and he also taught people around him in some way, so he was always in teaching mode.

"Boruto, got some clue about the situation?" Iwabe questioned as they stood together since the whole year had been gathered in the area and other year groups were gathered in a different place for some reason.

The academy was large enough so it never felt crowded but it was quite rare for all of them to be gathered, meaning something big had happened.

Something big meant that Boruto should have inkling since he was the son of the Hokage.

Boruto looked around the crowd and saw Iruka standing on the stage while other teachers were bringing the other children and preparing something.

Iruka was like a grandfather to him since Naruto treated the man like his father, more than Minato. He was treated very dearly by Naruto and was the only person with a weak talent and body that Naruto had blessed with power.

It was his love for the man that he acted selfishly. Naruto didn't want to leave him weak when he insisted on guiding the new generation.

Many people were jealous of him and cursed their past selves that they didn't step out and help Naruto. The result was obvious since Iruka was a rich man with powers that put him in the elite jounin rank of the current era, meaning he was strong enough to fight Juubito alone.

The man was now the headmaster of the Academy and respected by everyone. People didn't doubt his capabilities since there was one thing Naruto would never do, give position to someone unworthy of it.

The selection process was quite transparent and his skills were open for anyone to see, and comment on.

Boruto was aware that Naruto had put Iruka through harsh training for five years before letting him work again to achieve such a result.

It was something, the teacher was taught by the student on how to teach.

The man was in his forties but still looked young because of the increase in his life expectancy through the new system. He could probably live up to two thousand years if no one killed him.

He also looked very confident unlike his previous self.

Boruto knew that Iruka should know about it and he felt annoyed that he wasn't even given a clue. His family didn't tell him and not even Iruka, they were supposed to be friends.

"I haven't heard a peep, what about you Shikadai?" Boruto suppressed his annoyance and redirected the question someone else in the same position.

Shikadai could read his friend like an open book and shook his head.

"I have not heard anything as well. It seems to be a surprise for everyone." Mitsuki muttered and Denki also nodded while looking through the laptop for any clues. But it was a futile attempt since no clues had been left behind that could clarify what had taken place for such low level grunts, only people with some time related skill might have replayed the scene somewhere or read the mind of high ranking individuals to know the information.

"Big brother, what surprise do you think father has prepared for us?" Himawari Uzumaki, the beloved daughter of Naruto and Hinata, the Uzumaki princess loved by all for her cuteness and bubbly personality.

She had violet eyes like Hinata but with a slim figure. She was shorter than Boruto and you could see that her eyes were starting to bloom slowly, meaning the awakening of the Tensaigan was in progress.

Her long black hair was tied in a pony tail while she wore white shorts with a pink shirt. She had the Uzumaki necklace on her neck for protection and power recovery and emerald earrings that had healing affects along with acting as a battery.

Her appearance always attracted the eyes as she was extremely adorable, none dare look at her in a vulgar manner. She had many people that followed her on social media. Hima along with Shuten were known for being Daddy's girls.

Boruto actually had nightmares about Hima sometimes as she had knocked him out when they were young. It was the awakening of her powers, he was five while she was 4 and he was out for the count.

To make matters worse, she inherited the Tensaigan while he was stuck with the byakugan. It was unfair that her Byakugan transformed so fast while his showed no sign, and most likely needed external assistance.

It was such a situation but Boruto didn't act like a selfish child and was very happy for Hima. Just like everyone else, he also loved Hima. Asura loved Hima.

She was the type no one could hate as she melted the cold exterior of people.

Just from hearing her words, it was clear how their thought process were different. Boruto was annoyed while Hima was excited about what Naruto could have prepared.

"Maybe another new path or ground breaking device that was going to change our whole style." Boruto answered honestly as these were the only two options for this situation, though he was unaware of the exact reason.

Himawari hugged him and let him go after a kiss on the cheek. She was always very affectionate with the people close to her heart and she liked Boruto very much.

She didn't like it when her brothers fought, so Hima was waiting for Asura to return to talk to him and fix the problem. Hima looked up to her parents and tried to do her best. This was something that could be handled between them so she didn't want to depend on others t solve it.

It would make them look like spoilt little kids and shame their family.

"That's such a lazy answer."

Hima was not alone, just like always someone was following her around. In the Academy, she had many people following her around and she was close to everyone but the main people were all family friends.

Just like Boruto groups, Hima was part of Asura's group thought it could be called Himawari group since Asura made the group around his little sister.

The group consisted of Shun and Byakuya. Both of them were the quiet types though Shun spoke more than Byakuya.

Both of them were extremely good looking and moving in a group just enhanced the image.

Looking at the duo, Boruto was happy that it was not Natsu. That flame breath had a tendency to fight and always tested the patience of everyone around him.

"What can I say when I don't have any clue or future sight to utilize? Why don't you go ahead and make a prediction, genius?" Boruto muttered sarcastically, just because they were brothers doesn't mean he had to take the insult.

"Looking around, I can tell it has something to do with space and time. I heard father's speech about improving training methods and can say that it has something to do with it. Is that enough or do you want me to present more?" Shun Uzumaki, Naruto's son with Mei, replied in a calm tone. He was a person that was patient and always in control as he had taken those lessons seriously unlike his older brother, who seemed to have succumbed to his emotions and shadows.

He was tall person and even though he was younger by a year, Shun stood taller than Boruto by few centimeters. He had black silky hair and red eyes.

He wore black jeans with a white shirt and a black jacket with orange inner side and golden designs on the outside.

Being a close range type fighter, he always wore his combat gloves that were given to him as a gift by Naruto. All of them had main items given to them by Naruto for their safety.

Hearing his words, Boruto was about to act childishly but looking at Himawari and the situation he stopped.

Taking a breath and pinching his fingers, Boruto smiled, "That was a good analysis little brother. Your understanding in the fuinjutsu style seems to be improving."

Shun nodded and didn't say anything else, it wasn't his intention to antagonize him. He was just a blunt person that spoke his mind.

"Good afternoon, Boruto and friends." Byakuya also greeted them as it would be rude of him to stay silent.

Unlike everyone else, he was wearing a black and white Kimono that was meant for combat situations. He preferred the traditional style to the modern style.

"Welcome everyone, today you are all going to take part in something grand. It is something that will blow your minds away. The Hokage has worked with experts to revolutionize the training for procedures for everyone and this is a new addition to that aim.

Let me to introduce the Tower Of Excellence, a tower that is divided by the level of difficulty and each stage is big as Konoha or even bigger. The tower is made to give you children more experience than the real world can give you since situations are rare and hard to grasp. The tower will prepare you to face every situation and push you to the extremes so that you go to a higher level. Now you must be thinking that is shocking but the main part of the tower is….you will be able to fight warriors from various generations. You can fight your idols younger counterpart in the Tower and the higher you go, the stronger the warriors and harsher the situation.

The Tower will usually have everyone start from the lowest level but for today, every one of you can choose whether to start from level 1 or you can let the tower send you to a level suitable to your powers.

The Tower sill become part of schedule from next week and today is just the initial taste of this grand project. You won't be only ones as your teachers will also join in this fun experience.

Now, please walk though those portals." Iruka spoke with a clear tone but did not share much information except the main point that the kids should know.

Everything else was for them to explore.
